    Two Inspectors Call (1566)

The way this plot is progressing intrigues me. I really like that, despite their power and influence, TorBru isn't able to just do everything they want. Laermont being moved to a better holding location was clever, and a good way of showing that there is some hope within the system. I was worried it might turn into one of those RoboCop situations where the answer is "kill the guy in charge to win," but now it looks like there's definitely going to be more nuance and creativity.

Wouldn't mind seeing certain people knocked down a few pegs, of course.

In the Diamantus portion, again, I like seeing that the law is competent and is getting involved. I think Probius may have caved too quickly and easily to her demand, but seeing as they have a history together, it may be justified. Overall pacing was good, telling the story while keeping things moving and interesting. Great work, Moon.

    Perspectives (2000)

These chapter-spanning little briefs into Eos’s growth, as well as the shifts and changes in Eos and Mesan’s relationship, over the years is really very clever, ya know. =o There were a lotta ways you coulda done Eos-into-Dawn, Eos’s training and aging up to modern-day, but I really like how you’re handling it. The focus on the different schools of magic, and how Eos approaches/interprets each one, really works for the character -- and I especially like how, as she gets older, she’s naturally starting to interpret things differently from Mesan.
Their differing perspectives, AS YOU NAMED THE CHAPTER, on the meaning behind certain folk tales, and by extension the ‘correct’ or ‘proper’ way to go about honoring the spirit of Aquila (a general respect and gratefulness for the world and all it has to offer, versus outright praise for the Vis itself, I THINK, WAS THE CONFLICT?) is interesting.
And, as per usual, incorporating the ideas and themes of the chapter into a practical magic demonstration at the end is supercool. KEEP IT UP. COLLAB WITH ME. HELP MY STORMBLOOD ADDICTION
