To clarify the title, My Final Fantasy XIV (14) looks. Glams is short for glamour, which is just changing the appearance of your equipment. I based all my looks around the same chest piece with different other pieces based on the type of class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This paragraph will be some technical stuff relating to the games that you can skip if you don’t care or play. The armor sets in the came is divided into several different types, Fending, Maiming, Striking, Scouting, Aiming, Casting and Healing. I was able to find the same model chest piece for Striking, Scouting, Aiming, Casting and Healing. Not for Fending and Maiming, though. So for this time, this is only 5 out of the 7 armor types. I’m still deciding what to do for the last two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The theme for this glam is wrappings. I had to do some detective work to find wrappings for the feet. Typically, when they show the Paglth’an armor set, it’s a complete set which includes boots that cover up the wrapping part. I had to look at the icon for the gear to tell it had wrappings on the lower calf. I’m glad that I was able to dye all the wrappings the same color, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      I wanted knives for this outfit. You can see a dagger in the gloves. I specifically have a shot of the boots because there is a dagger in there, too. Normally, you can’t see it at all due to the skirt part of the himation, but I know it’s there, and so do you. The legs were something of an accidental discovery. I just happen to had that piece to try out, and I really liked the thigh belts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        This was the first of the himation looks I made. The color is purple due to my original choice of headpiece which could not by dyed and defaulted to purple. I changed the headpiece, though, but I quite like the purple. I like the Warg shoes for being heelless heels. You don’t know how hard it is to move around in those. Also, there’s a specific reason I used the Coliseum Subligars for the legs, though you’ll need to play the games to figure out why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Me discovering the tattoos on the hand piece inspired me to go with a magical markings look. While I’m disappointed the tattoos on the legs don’t change color, I do like the bright red arm tattoos. The hat is a happy coincidence with feathers having a green and red theme to match the rest of the wardrobe. The symbol on the hat also fits in well with my horns. The leg piece is really just generic for being out of the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            This look was actually originally used for the Casting version, however I changed the Casting version to tattoos and markings based when I saw the hand piece. I still really enjoyed the ringed look, so I bought the Healing version of those pieces. I like the feathery head piece, too. Maybe one day I’ll get the dyeable version, but what would I change the color to?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            But wait, there’s more! Next time, stay tuned for action shots of the various jobs in these outfits! Also, I am going to continue working on the Fending and Maiming sets, though I’m not sure what I’ll use since they don’t have that Himation model chest piece. Also, most of the pieces do not have weapon glams or jewelry glams. I don’t know if I will get around to doing them, but it would be neat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
