Dear Everyone,

Hello~! 8D

It's nice to see some activity from everyone, except for Xim, who's busy with school. I hope you all saw my post in the second division movements. I know Bitters and Unknown did. Now that all of the ice has cleared up here, and that I'm back at school, doing grades regularly will be no problem. I'm trying to step up my activity so that hopefully I can collab more with you guys and get you all those division techniques. As a note, I'm going to do something as a trial. I'll be posting suggestions on maybe how you guys can improve your writing, even though I'm no expert, I do think it's good to give criticism. As another note, I may start doing some revamps to the second division soon. It'll include a nifty new write up of the division spec, a map of the division Taisho, and a bunch of division items.

**Bitters -- You're a good writer, as always, but one of the things I've noticed right off the bat is that you've got a tendency to use Kisho's name whenever mentioning him. You might try to do that less as it tends to make things feel less smooth. You have a nice blend between dialogue and description, and your writing is easy to understand, but I wonder if using a thesaurus to get some different words wouldn't help your writing out a bit. Also, I find that the different color fonts you use in your writing tends to break up the flow. It hurts my eyes.

**Lynx -- Lynx, you're also a fairly good writer in your own right. A lot of what I've said to bitters applies to you, especially with the thesaurus advice, but there's something else you might consider as well. From time to time, your writing seems a little bland and almost a little too simplistic -- at least, your sentences do. Short sentences can be a good thing, but too many of them hurts the flow of your writing, and I'm afraid that it's doing that to yours (especially in your first turn of the collab with bitters). My suggestion is to try and string some of them together with commas and semi-colons. And also, try to get a better grasp of where they should be used. I do, however, really like the fact that you're staying in character. Good job on that man, even though the way Lynx is acting will probably get him in a bit of trouble with Yuusuke.

**Unknown -- First, this isn't a note about your writing so much as something in general. I noticed the other week that you put in two of our division techs into your stats. I'm glad that you want them, but in truth, I'm the one that needs to teach them to you. Plus, unseated officers only get one division tech. So keep on writing and try to earn a seat. ^__^ Hmmm though...You're a good writer as well, which is awesome, but there's surprisingly little dialogue in your chapters. Maybe it's just the situation, but I'd like to see some more of it in the future to spice things up. Also, you may want to consider doing something to separate your PCs thoughts like bolding or italicizing them.

Writing Critique:
Cat - I love ya girl, but you gotta work a bit on your phrasing. It seems like you are rushing through your writing a bit too quickly, which is a bad habbit a lot have (including myself). Slow down, take your time, feel the words flow out of you like a peaceful waterfall in late spring just as it begins to get warm. Overall, you are doing a good job and are improving with each chapter I read. Just remember to proofread a bit, say each sentence out loud to make sure it sounds right to you. And the most important thing of all, stay smexy. You get 75 Smexy Points this week for doing just that.

Also, tone it a bit down on your numbers. I know it's awesome to have a character charge through 100 shinigami and wtfpwn them, but that's a lot of people. Remember, there aren't as many shinigami in our Seireitei vs the manga one.

Kehengto - A good tip for you my man: You shouldn't have to use different colors to distinguish between multiple people talking. When you create the persona for a character (PC or NPC), you should be thinking of key habbits and ways of communicating that stand out. Then, when you have your characters talking to each other, bring those out so the reader is easily able to distinguish from one character to the next. If you need some help with it, let me know and I'll show you a couple ways to bring that smex out. You do a pretty good job of it as is (I could tell who was who without it being color-coded), but it wouldn't be too hard to make that a lot better with a little practice. I also award you 75 Smexy Points. Stay cool.
