ARCANA INFORMATION
Leader : Delano

Northern Rukongai, Mountain Area. There home is a giant castle located inside one of the northern mountains. The gateway to the castle is a gate (i.e. portal) that only the Arcana know of. Anyone else who enters the gate will simply feel like they are going in a circle until they are sent out through the front gate once again. Many strange gems surround the castle. The gems are not only used as currency, but also for their studies and building.
Ambitions: Each Arcana member has a different ambition, some more righteous than those of other members. However, even with this they tend to work alongside each other without much trouble. Every member also seems to respect Delano's ultimate goal, as such they have a great respect for him.
Status: As for right now the Arcana is made up of about 290 people. Many of them are shinigami, combatants, and kidou users. However, just as many are regular people who wish to serve the Arcana. Because of their low numbers, the Arcana tries to keep their names as secret as possible. They will also try to avoid any major conflict that make leak out their existence.
Structure: The Arcana has what you would call houses. There are seven total and each goes by a different color. Each color in the Arcana also stands for certain virtues and as such many of their members also few certain values.
Violet: ??? : Mysterious, Logical, Governing
Blue: Water : Calm, Intelligent, Gentle
Red: Fire : Passionate, Brave, Fierce
Green: Wind : Prideful, Free, Easygoing
Brown: Earth : Determined, Loyal
Yellow: Thunder : Decisive, True
Gray: Steel : Strong, Solid
One thing to be known, however, is that not every member of every class uses that specific element. While some are sent to a house because of elemental power, many are also placed depending on which of these virtues best fits them. And some just go because of open seats.
House Ranking: The Arcana houses consist of a leader(known as the king/queen), a sub-leader(known as a Grand Knight), and four lower ranks(known as Knights) . These rules are only an exception to the governing house which holds five people under Delano(Bishops). These seats are usually given to a member depending power. However, if a member has enough influence within the Arcana they may be able to succeed a seat without being too strong.
There are a few ways to gain seats, these are the main ones:
1. Gain the approval of the Arcana Leader (Delano) or 4 of the 7 house leaders, one of the house leaders being of the house you want to enter.
2. Grant the approval of the Leader and Sub-leader of the specific house along with Delano's approval.
3. Battle the holder of the current seat and win, the battle must be accepted by both ends and be approved by the Arcana Leader.
4. Have the Arcana Leader place you up for a seat.
5. Grant the approval of Delano to take the seat in the happening of the death of one of the seat holders.

ARCANA SECTIONS
Governing House: This house rules over all the other houses and surveys them. They also command over the acolytes. Though they have no real section themselves, they do a little bit of everything. Unlike many other houses, the eleven people under Delano are all considered equal, not to mention some of them are on the strength level of house leaders.
Scientific/Magical Research: This house develops most of the plans of the tech and spells that the Arcana uses. They even developed the special teleportation and gate spells that the Arcana uses. They also do a lot of bioengineering. What they bioengineer is unknown, however those inhuman beings surrounding their labs may be some clue.
Combat Training & Warfare: The Fire house is the special wartime division of the Arcana. Unlike the Thunder house, they usually work on mostly large-scale battles. However, since the Arcana is dormant as of now, their attention has been cast on training the bodies of Arcana members for that time when they will be needed.
Surveillance & Reconnaissance: The Wind House is focused on spying and gathering information for the Arcana. They're usually sent to investigate the conditions of the Seireitei, the Rukongai, and even other Rogue groups. They then take that information and share it with the other members of the Arcana. They are also the main group to do the Arcana's "fetch quests."
Medical: As you would think, the Earth house is mainly involved in surgery and the recovering of the wounded. This means they are the main healers during field missions, and the most adept with healing techniques. This doesn't mean they are weak, however. Many of them can fight, and some even use their knowledge of the body to increase their deadliness.
Strike Force & Special Tactics: The Thunder House is the strategic house of the Arcana. Unlike the Fire House that focuses on widespread battle, the Thunder focus on attacking quickly and efficiently with a minimum use of operatives and a minimum number of casualties. Because of this they are usually the ones sent to assassinate, though that doesn't occur too much.
Construction & Defense: The Steel House is like the home base house of the Arcana. They focus on building and construction, and they also focus on setting up defenses. During an attack they are the ones who lead the acolytes and come up with the defensive formations and tactics. They also set up the many traps and weapons around the Arcana base. They are also in charge of forging and constructing weaponry.
Acolytes: These are the Arcana's worker bees, denoted by the black robes they wear. They have no specific job (usually assigned to help the other houses when they need extra manpower), nor do they have any power in the Arcana, however they are the largest in number. That is because all new recruits start out as Acolytes. Some of the acolytes have spiritual powers and even some have zanpakutou. However, many others don't simply using their intelligence or physical strength to help. Though not having any innate powers doesn't matter with them.
ARCANA POWERS & ABILITIES
"Possession" : Arcana acolytes with little or no power are known to carry possessed weapons. The weapons house an energy parasite manufactured by the Water House. These parasites then flow within the user and unlocked the untapped power in the Hakusui, also supplying the person with the power they have.
However, the problem with this is over time the parasite starts to develop a sense of self and if the user is not strong enough, they will completely engulf them. Making their body an empty shell used for their transportation.
Dark Seal: The Dark Seal works just like the possession technique, except it's a lot safer and a lot more dangerous at the same time. These seals are usually only present on higher members of the Arcana. Mainly, because of how they work and how much control and power they need to be sustained. The seals, like the parasites, seep into the user and unlocks the true power of the Hakusui. However, to make it safer these only open temporarily and do not keep the Hakusui open all the time.
However, the seal is also said to have stranger much more powerful abilities (The "Chosen" ability, per say). However, those as of right now are classified.
Teleportation: The teleportation ability is a special skill developed by the Arcana. Taking the knowledge of the rapid transportation of spiritons and gate technology developed from previous generations. The user of this kidou quickly opens up a small gate within their environs, and then they quickly sprint through that gate to another checkpoint.
Raw gate teleportation is very taxing and only a few can use it. That is why most Arcana members use a series of set teleportation points to get around in. Their teleportation also doesn't work in a setting with large amounts of bloodstone, and it is disrupted by large amounts of spiritual pressure, as to why they have no way into the Seireitei.
Teleportation cannot be used in attacks. Because when teleportation occurs it takes a few seconds for the users spiritons to reform, making them temporary vulnerable and unable to do anything. Though that doesn't mean it can't be used in evasion. But even then rapid teleportation is tiring, and can only be used for short distances. However to skilled users it can become like breathing to them.
Telepathy All Arcana have special seals on their foreheads. These seals create a link between Arcana members and allow them to shoot out specialized burst of spiritual signals. It is basically a Tentei Kuura spell that only the Arcana can hear and decipher. To allow themselves to walk through Soul Society without being noticed, the seal only appears when they are using that ability.
As of right now, all other abilities are classified
ARCANA RELATIONS WITH OTHER ROGUES
Admission The Arcana freely accepts all other rogues as long as they pass Delano's personal tests. However, with most new recruits, they are scouted and investigated before entering.
Alliances The Arcana is somewhat reluctant in joining with other clans, mainly because they do not believe many other groups share their same believes. They view other groups more as terrorist, and therefore do not trust them. However, they will except people who leave those groups for the Arcana.
ARCANA RELATIONS WITH THE SEIREITEI/SHINIGAMI
Shinigami The Arcana does not hate shinigami, many of them being shinigami themselves. They still feel that it is necessary to control hollows, as such they have actually been seen hunting hollows themselves. However, they were not in their ceremonial robes during that.
Seireitei The Arcana doesn't really dislike the Seireitei per say. They simply believe them to be another obstacle and will deal with them as such.
ARCANA ATTIRE
For the most part the Arcana all dressed in long, hooded cloaks. Each cloak goes down to the ankles and is the color of whatever house they are from. The cloaks are rimmed with sacred runes covering the cuffs, collars, seam line, and folds.
The houses leaders and sub-leaders all have different ones. For one, theirs are much heavier looking than those of lower rank, and they have much more runic detail to them.
They also have pronged flames on them. 3 prongs for sub-leaders and 5 for leaders.
These robes are usually only wore during ceremonies and while within the Arcana. When walking around Soul Society, the Arcana will usually be dressed in natural attire. Though some do prefer to wear there robes outside too.
