Appearance:.Lottie is a dark skinned woman of average height and above average curves. Distinctive violet scales frame her right eye extending to her hairline and transitioning smoothly to skin near her cheek bone. A smattering of scales on the left half of her face resemble freckles. Her dark brown, almond shaped eyes are often slightly crinkled as a result of her bright, sharp-toothed smile.
The velen-laicar has dark strands of cartilage that resemble dreadlocks with only very fine, short, curly hairs around the hairline. The locs are usually kept in a ponytail so they don’t get in Lottie’s face.
Lottie’s choice in clothing is usually plain and functional, often featuring fitted pants or shorts, simple bindings to cover her breasts are favored over shirts, and a jacket for the pockets more than anything else .
Personality:. Lottie is generally an easy going person who enjoys the simple pleasures in life, like tea, novels, and good banter. She is an especially curious individual who enjoys a good puzzle or mystery, though her ability to get distracted makes it difficult for her to stay organized at times. When something really catches her interest, Lottie tends to hyper-focus and she will go to great ends to find out about something that has piqued her curiosity.
Though friendly, the agent doesn’t have much by the way of close family or friends. This doesn’t mean Lottie is lonely, though --she’s always finding something new to investigate.
History:. Primarily raised by her velen grandmother, Lottie was taught to love and respect herself despite discrimination she faced for her obvious mixed heritage. The two lived in Terminus for much of the beginning of Lottie’s life in lower-income areas, but moved to Pelagia when her grandmother’s health began to decline.
In Pelagia, Lottie cared for her grandmother to the best of her ability once the elderly woman’s health truly started to fail, but was only able to extend her grandmother’s life a few more years. After the death of her grandmother, Lottie threw herself into studies in magic and training in martial arts to channel her grief.
After three years of intense study, at age 15, Lottie returned to land to try out her luck in Terminus. Lottie settled in Lupanar District with no true home, living on the streets and working where she could. She traveled Terminus, working odd jobs and making friends, paying special attention to bounties and gossip. She finally saved up enough to afford an apartment and began to trade in a business much more lucrative than waitressing --selling information.
