I just saw Star Trek Into Darkness. Just as good as the last one. Also, I plan to see Man of Steel when it comes out, looks like a good reboot for Superman by the trailers.
I went to see this today, and it was good. A bit slow paced, but then again so is the book. The stuff they added from the supplementary materials/appendecies held the story together nicely and helped move the plot in an interesting way. Hopefully Desolation of Smaug continues in this fashion...
