Persona: Kyin is very smart and a very nice person, however at times his non-chalant attitude can annoy people. He also tends to be quite lazy, but can become quite spirited when in a argument or when drowsy(which some find strange). He is patient, yet will tell someone when they are annoying him. Also, though intelligent, he tends to be ignorant of very simple things.

Kyin can also be quite silly at times and will take things he likes to extreme measures. As for love, Kyin never really shows much interest in that though he and Lin are quite close. Kyin tends to be a mediator at times, always helping other people with their problems. However, he usually keeps his own problems to himself because he doesn't like burdening others. Always the middle grounder, Kyin is known to take the opposite side of an argument just to consider all sides.

He also seems to take an interest in science and the unknown.

Appearance: Kyin stands at about 6' exactly and 187 lbs, He's dark-skinned and has a medium built (not too muscular, but not very skinny). He is a very agile person, which some don't usually expect because of his height. He has a rough stubble around his chin, and he keeps his hair relatively long now, the man letting it cascade out. He has the usual black hair, though his eyes are a strange shade of gray. He wears glasses(though he just does that because he likes them, his eyesight is fine) some of the time. His facial expression is usually one of indifference, but that is because he doesn't pay attention a lot of the time.

Clothing: Kyin has an assortment of clothing he wears nowadays, usually changing to them for every different kind of situation.

Type 1: His main type, this clothes are like the normal shinigami clothing, except dark blue instead of black. This type is most commonly worn.

Type 2: Closer to the classic shinigami, this clothing are black but are more thinly cut(resembling the arrancar's way of clothing. Kyin usually on wears these on certain occasions.

Type 3: Full on robes. Kyin wears full body robes(resembling something like heavy wizards robes). The robes are red with a subtle black lining around the cuffs and collars, and symbols on the arms resembling a black sun. Kyin only wears these in special occasions.

Type 4:(Battle Type) Kyin wears battle armor every one in a while. This armor is demon-like in appearance(think Berserk Armor from Berserk) except it doesn't have a helmet and it is of a much lighter built. Kyin usually wears a large black cloak over this, so it can be hard to be seen at times.

Kyin's clothes were specially made by the science division from a unique set of spiritons, allowing them to temporary deform whenever he switches into Bankai so they don't ruin.

Zanpakutou:
Aburamushi


Spirit appearance: Aburamushi is a tall man of abut 6'5". He always wears a straw sunhat, and a heavy white cloak. He has long black hair, and glowing gray eyes. He speaks in a very proper tone most of the time, though can be laid back in speech at other times. His face is usually very distinguished, never taking any other expression. A weird thing about Aburamushi is that he's always surrounded by strange insects, yet he never seems to mind. Aburamushi seems to be learned about many things, however he hides this from Kyin. Why he does that is unknown.

Biography: As first a living world soul, when transported to Soul Society by a Shinigami, Kyin was stationed in one of the poorer sections of the communities. Passive and lazy, There were many a time when Kyin would be scolded by his friends and adults. Kyin was apart of a small group of children (as were many kids who didn't have any "parents" within Soul Society), being one of the more intelligent people but too passive to lead, he was treated as the second-in-command of his group. Having all shown signs of spiritual power, Kyin and his friends all decided to apply to become Shinigami once the Gotei was reformed. Though it was tough, They managed to become Shinigami rookies (though some took longer than others, Kyin being one of the first to be enrolled mainly due to his intelligence and knack for Kidou). Ever passive, Kyin is usually scolded by his superiors for his non-chalant attitude. However, he knows when to take things seriously and when he does he usually does it well. Kyin really has no interest in the Hollow-Shinigami conflict, he only wants to join the Shinigami to live a better life, and will do his job as long as that is what it requires. Though lazy, he tends to garner respect and admiration quickly.

As a younger soul, Kyin was very introverted and never remembered much about his human life. Later, it would be revealed to him by his zanpakutou, Aburamushi that he had been a hollow in his human life time. Facing his memories head-on Kyin was able to work through them. However, there are still things he doesn't know about himself. Kyin finds himself haunted in his dreams by a man who looks exactly like him, and be chased after by a group called "The Arcana." The Red Moon has also began a point of interest to him, a man who calls himself Kei(now deceased by Kyin's hands) especially sees him as a rival.

Bio as of week 34: Kyin has discovered that the life he once believed was true could quite possibly be a lie. Having met Mysia and Ian, people claiming to be his sister and father respectively, he is unsure of what to believe. Put that on account with the current discoveries with the Arcana and himself that he had made, and it's easy to see why.

His life currently heavy with stress, Kyin has became a little on edge as of lately, his laid back persona taking a detour.

Bio as of week 64: Having dug deeper into his past with the Arcana, Kyin has discovered a bit about himself. The man has mainly figured out that his past was indeed false, having never been a resident of earth. His true birth was from that of parents Ian and Karen, one is presumed deceased and the other currently out to kill him. He has also butted heads with his sister, Mysia, though they haven't actually battled yet. Angered by this revelation, Kyin has set out to get his revenge. However, his obligations as a captain of the Gotei stops him from chasing after this goal as much as he would like.

[ Mujigen Ren'ai ] -- "The Endless Romance"
Lastly, there are those that wish to prolong their ability to pummel the opponent wave after wave while in Ousaku Ban Kai. By opening up a freer channel of energy with his or her Zanpaku, a member of the August Echelon is blessed with a higher capacity of turns he or she may spend while in Ousaku Ban Kai. This results in a growth boost in his or her number of turns, in which succeeding increments of 10,000 Connection after 30,000 Connection will add yet another turn to his or her maximum amount on top of the normal growth of turns. This also applies to the very instant he or she attains Ousaku Ban Kai at 30,000 Connection: he or she will start off with five turns, rather than just three.

[Must've stayed on Ousaku Ban Kai for at least a total of fifteen rounds beforehand.

[ Shuunin ] -- "The Errant Edge"
Those who prefer to adopt a balance between all four fighting ways of the Shinigami would find themselves within the Shuunin sub-class. Having a fair balance in all aspects of Shinigami combat affords greater adaptability and the highest minimization of weaknesses, though one would come to acknowledge no obvious emphatic strength. Just the same, however, as the very ideology of balance itself may be a strength, and it is through the afforded skills of the Shuunin that this is made apparent:
· [ Yaoyorozu ] -- "Myriad"
Having been thoroughly familiarized with all four fighting ways of the Shinigami, a Shuunin member is now capable of putting his or her varied combat experience and applying it all into a singular, unique attack that makes use of at least three combat stats. This enables not only most if not all of the Shuunin's balanced strengths to be put to use at once, but for all pertinent fighting ways to synergistically form into an attack that is rated equal to the sum of 1/3rd of all applied combat stats.

[Must possess at least eight different attacks that are specifically oriented towards a particular combat stat (includes Techniques/Abilities, Feats, Zanpakutou Kai, Kidou, etc.)]
· [ Eishouken ] -- "Everglance" (Inactive: Compressed used 2 out of 3 needed times)
Through unlocking the Ousaku Ban Kai in battle, the resulting field of compressed Reiryoku as born from the manifested Zanpaku will work to accentuate the balance of energy within the Shuunin's body. Therefore, whenever a Shuunin member enters Ousaku Ban Kai, his or her four combat stats will all increase by +1% for every passing round of combat until the final release expires.

[Must not have any stat boosts derived from the Ousaku Ban Kai itself. Also, must have used Ousaku Ban Kai at least three times beforehand.]
[ Soraichi no Fukai Kyoku ]
"The Aerial City's Untouchable Zenith"

The fabled Kikouou that once stood watch over the Sou Kyoku execution poles was often glorified as the 'million Zanpakutou,' an allusion to its fearsome and overwhelming appearance and manifested release. A member of the August Echelon may hope to attain such a level of power with their own Zanpakutou once 40,000 Connection is reached... and with it, claim dominion over those lesser than him or herself. Soraichi no Fukai Kyoku affords such an altitude of strength, whereupon no opponent with Connection (or any other pertinent stat that acts like Connection with the exception of Reiatsu) equal to or lesser than 10,000 that of the August Echelon member's may ever hope to engage in equitable battle with the Master Shinigami... as doing so will result in the complete destruction of the lesser Zanpakutou (or any other staple weapon). However, this all affords much more than mere dominance.

With the 'power of a million Zanpakutou,' the soul slayer of an August Echelon member gains a certain level of independence from the physical construction of the weapon itself, such that even should his or her Zanpakutou be compromised in combat, Kai releases may be retained and still activated with reasonable loss in power. Thus, even if his or her Zanpakutou's blade is entirely compromised, a maximum release of Shikai is still possible, though at a handicap of 80% of its full potential power. The same applies to Ousaku Ban Kai, however, the Zanpakutou blade must retain at least half of its blade intact in order for the final release to be activated.

The last facet of Soraichi no Fukai Kyoku is the execution of a geographical assault upon a particular region of an immediate landscape. It is by plunging one's Zanpakutou into the earth and pouring the synergistic Reiryoku into it that such a destructive spectacle may be witnessed. The grand-scale bombardment is not designed to obliterate a single target or a particular group of enemies... rather, its true effectiveness shows in being able to level stretches of territory, large enemy forces, and structures quickly and indiscriminately. However, any section of the targeted region that holds the same natural attribute or element as that of the inundating energy is kept intact.

[ Tettou no Shizuhisa ]
"The Iron Tower's Silent Creed"

Having been so familiarized and accustomed to one's strength and spiritual bearing leads to this higher branch of existence, the Tettou no Shizuhisa. Through assiduous training and emphasis upon one's natural strengths, the resultant Reiryoku will attune itself to passively augment the August Echelon member's forte as much as it can allow. It is by this harmonic circumvention of spiritual power that the August Echelon member is able to experience a +15% boost to his or her highest combat stat. However, if multiple combat stats are identical in value, then that +15% boost may be evenly distributed amongst them. The synergistic processes will continue to grow, allowing the default +15% boost to grow by +1% for every 5,000 Connection attained after 40,000.

[ Kinushiro no Musabetsu ]
"The Silken Castle's Indiscrimination"

To be absorbed into such a distinguished class of warriors and be known as the best Shinigami recognized within the Gotei 13 is often the highest honor one can receive... but bearing such a status is another matter entirely. Withholding authority and charisma in battle with utmost consistency is vital towards being role models of all younger aspiring Shinigami, and it is here that prior experiences in wars, missions, and innumerous battles come into play. Having to tirelessly assume leadership enables the August Echelon member to achieve the state of Kinushiro no Musabetsu, and develop an insurmountable resilience against the duress and compromises of combat. The culmination of martial knowledge and understanding gives birth to a higher degree of resilience against negative status effects, where low-level abnormalities may be outright blocked off and mid-to-high level abnormalities resisted to an even greater extent than before. This also extends to effects that work to dampen one's stats: whenever such a travesty occurs, the August Echelon member will only experience half of its severity due to his or her greater militaristic and characteristic bearing.


FEATS:

I. [Sphere of Light] - Kyin wraps his energy into a tiny ball. The energy is so intense that it starts to shine a bright white. The ball will then shoot out repelling all negative energy of up to almost two times its own strength. The ball will then detonate in a ten-meter radius, causing a giant sphere like explosion and incinerating anything caught in its proximity.

This tech drains half of Kyin's kidou stat in reiatsu no matter what level of skill he is at. However, as his kidou stat rise so does the destructive capabilities of the attack. The area doesn't increase, however the power does. The ability can only be used once in a one hour period by Kyin, and will fail or completely fatigue him if he tries to do it more than once in that time.

When Kyin does the technique, he also seems to become a little less himself. His speech becoming a bit more proper, and his tone vindictive.

II. [Arcane] The zanpakutou is sealed and the energy used for it placed into kidou. While this is active, Kyin's kidou stat increases by whatever the amount his zanpakutou would usually increase his spiritual pressure at his current max "kai" level. During this time, Kyin's kidou attacks are almost twice as devastating as they usually would be and he gains access to spells he would not normally be able to use.

Kyin's kidou reserves also slowly recover, allowing him to use strong spells more than once in a matter of minutes. However, during this because the energy is being rerouted into his spells, Kyin's body starts to tire almost twice as quickly as it usually would.

III. [Zanpakutou Shift - Kokuunuirusa Aburamushi (Black Cloud Virus Parasite)]

IV. [Sagely Knowledge] -- It is one job of the 8th division to research kidou, as such it is Kyin's job to be learned in the field of all things kidou. Because of this familiarity to kidou and their techniques, Kyin is able to decipher and understand them a lot faster than the normal shinigami would. As such, he acquires another kidou slot for every 250 kidou he has instead of every 500 (all kidou slots learned so far don't count).

V. [Crescent Release] - This is a feat that was born from Kyin's near mastery of his true self. Activation of this form causes a physical and spiritual change in Kyin. When activated, runic symbols form around Kyin's arms and one spreads out through his forehead...his eyes glowing completely with a red light.

This form gains a 10% boost to Kyin's SP, Hohou and Kidou, and lasts for about 5 minutes (about 20 turns in a PC fight) when activated. During this, Kyin's speech usually becomes foreign and he has a somewhat withdrawn look on his face. The power of all his kidou is increases by 25%, but only in the time that he has the seals active on his body.

The Crescent release also has a secondary effect on Kyin's body. Due to all the years of testing and molding he had put on him to maximize his potential in battle, the restraints on his Hakusui and Souketsu have been erased and Kyin's Genkai has been broken because of it, allowing him to exceed the former restraints put on him for being a shinigami. This is not an activated ability like the first part of the Crescent release, but rather a dormant ability Kyin has for being himself.

VI. [Abyss Void] -- An attack in the same league as Sphere of Light. Draining a solid half of his kidou stat in reiatsu no matter when he uses it, however it is more damaging the higher the stat is.

When activated, Kyin's reiatsu shoots from him wildly like lightning, the aura darkening everything within his path as it begins to fade to black and burning anything that comes into contact with it. As the energy condenses, it starts to wipe around Kyin's arms and legs, a jet of black reiatsu flowing silently from each of those appendages.

The energy then condenses into arm blades around the arm and ankle blades around the legs. Lasting 30 seconds (3 turns) upon activation, when the formed blade connects with anything, the gathered reiatsu will condense to that one spot and then explode furiously, causing great damage to anything it hits.

However, because of the magnitude of this attack, Kyin must work to stabilize them after every hit. For each 5000 he has in kidou, Kyin can uses of these attacks and still keep the attack going without it breaking. However, after he's used up that maximum, the attack is broken.
TECHS

***[Incantation Bypass] -- Allows bypass of the chanting of a Kidou spell and simply state the name. [Awarded when 2000 Kidou is reached]

***[United Front] In battle, two characters who have spent much time together and are fighting together against an adversary recieve a 25% stat boost to all of their stats (except Connection). Kenzo & Masaru & Diega & Junichi & Seisatsu & Jin & Rei


[Sunaheki] A technique which compresses spiritual pressure around a limb or weapon and releases it upon impact. The ensuing expansion of the coiled energy is violent in nature, but is directed outward from the user's weapon. In turn, the release causes a jarring impact that breaks the guard of a defending opponent or increases the damage done on an open one. Timing is important here, as the strike must be made the instant Sunaheki is activated. Otherwise the technique evaporates and loses form. Additionally, if two objects under the influence of Sunaheki come into contact, the one with more spiritual pressure wrapped into it nullifies the effect of the lesser. Each successful use drains a quarter of the spiritual pressure used in the technique, whereas a failed use drains all of it. Lastly, Sunaheki can also be used to wrap certain projectile Kidou with spritual pressure in order to increase its potential damage, but also drains spiritual pressure as if it were a failed use. [Awarded through training with a Sunaheki practioner]

[Double Jump] - The user of this tech can jump into the air, pause by gathering energy at the base of their feet, then springboarding off the gathered energy. This technique is tiring and takes a lot out of a person when used more than 1 time in succession of the base jump. One much also be prepared to compensate for the fall that comes afterwards. During the pause, the user cannot perfom other actions than the jump, or else the succession will be broken and they will fall back to the ground. (1000 SP & 1000 Hohou).

***[Shi Kai Command Bypass] - After achieving Ban Kai, the calling of the command phrase for Shi Kai is no longer necessary. This technique allows the user to simply release his zanpakutou instantaneously. [Awarded when Ban Kai is acquired]

[Mirror Spell] - A technique in which the same projectile-type kidou can be fired twice during the same chant. The technique either fires the same spell right after another, in the same direction(s) as the previous one. The attack costs about 1.5 times the regular amount of the related kidou, however the second blast will be around half the strength of the first one. This can even be used with lingering effects having one activate after the other. [This skill is attained at 3500 Kidou]

[Kakusan] This technique was designed to counter Atodzukeru, however, it is also useful in its own right. As a counter, it enables the user to "diffuse" their energy patterns, and at higher levels, the user is able to diffuse patterns so much so that they may become untraceable by those with less SP. As a unique technique (and a higher level), Kakusan enables the "throwing" of energy patterns so as to distract or confuse opponents by resting patterns on sound waves (e.g., think: echo). When this technique is mastered, Kakusan can be used to form "clouds" of energy around opponents which dull their sense abilities by 10%. [Attainable as a counter at base stat of 2000 SP, but sound wave throwing is effective only at 2500 SP and above.]

[Shinishikengo] - A stronger power form of Shi Kai. Rather than running on Shi Kai spiritual pressure, the user taps into their inert zanpakutou power and brings out Ban Kai spiritual pressure and uses that to run the Shi Kai state. Due to the immense energy Ban Kai gives off SP is raised by 25%, extra energy is leftover and used to boost every other stat except Connection by 10%. [Awarded after Ban Kai has been achieved, Zanjutsu of 2,000 is reached, and after training with a Shinishikengo practicioner]

[ Senka ] -- "Flash Flower" An offensive Technique that specially utilizes Shunpo, where the Shinigami effectively moves behind the target, and in one swift, accurate attack, destroys his or her Hakusui, effectively sealing off the victim's powers forever. If the opponent's Hohou or Zanjutsu/Hakuda is less than half of the user of this Technique, it has a 100% success rate. (Can only be used on PCs with their permission) [Attained when 10,000 Hohou is reached.]

[ Toukihaku ] -- "Surpassing Drive" (Aur/--/--)
Throughout the generations, further study of the ancient skill "Shunkou" has led to various advances in Kidouryoku control, as well as increased understanding in the behavior of such energy. Toukihaku exists as one of the more rudimentary applications of such research, allowing one to allocate more Kidou energy into skills that already use Kidouryoku. This Tech works to widen the channels of energy passage, as well as facilitating the flow and density of Kidou energy, resulting in the ability to, at most times, double the power of the Kidou spell by consuming more power. Toukihaku governs over all skills that utilize Kidou, and with it, the user is able to execute the said skills with +100% more power at the cost of consuming +75% more Kidou than normal. There is no limit to how many times Toukihaku may be used, and rather than being limited to a duration of effect, the usage of this Technique is purely selective. After the initial usage, Kidou may not be replenished for the entire duration of battle. Also, Toukihaku may not be augmented by any other enhancing effects derived from any other skill. [Attained after reaching 2,500 Kidou. Members of the Kidoushuu may learn Toukihaku without having to meet the stat requirement.]


*** [ Touitsu Kousen ] -- "United Resistance" (Def/--/--)
Allies that have faced many hardships together often gain a higher bond. Through such a connection, comrades are able to face the brunt of duress and adversity with a heightened degree of tolerance. Touitsu Kousen, a sister Technique to Touitsu Sensen, culminates this aspect of bonds into an inherent defensive mechanism. This Tech allows characters that have reached a special bond to endure and tolerate more damage than usual. Characters under Touitsu Kousen's effect receive a -15% physical and spiritual damage reduction, and+15% effectiveness increase to all defensive Kidou, Techs/Feats, and Zanpaku abilities. Touitsu Kousen remains wholly invisible in a "non-duel" circumstance. Otherwise, it automatically occupies a Tech Allocation slot (though still does not count towards the Tech List). [Attained after writing 45,000 words with another character. All connected characters must have Touitsu Sensen with each other beforehand. [ Battou Shunpo ] -- "Drawing Sword Shunpo" (Atk/Mov/-)
A combination of the samurai art of drawing his sword in a deathblow fashion and a large burst of Shunpo. Note that the sword itself does not move at Shunpo speed, but rather only as quickly as the user's body can utilize it while in Shunpo. A large amount of Spiritual Pressure is used, and if the character's Zanjutsu is not higher than his target's, the Shunpo fails. Otherwise, a high success rate occurs.

[Attained when 8,000 Zanjutsu and Hohou are reached.]

[ Kidou Yuugou ] -- "Kidou Fusion" (Aur/Syn/-)
An upper level Kidou Technique which allows the user to "fuse" two Kidou spells together, creating a new hybrid Kidou. Simply put, this Technique works by gently mixing the Kidou as they're formed. When the Kidou is cast, the result is a hybrid spell that carries properties of both of the original Kidou used. The resulting hybrid spell requires 125% of the sum of the Reiatsu costs of both spells, but has an attack value equal to 150% of the combined power of both of the original Kidou. There are, however, certain limitations to the Kidou that can be used. First, both Kidou must be within ten numbers of each other. Second, only low or mid-classed Kidou can be used due to the immense difficulty of completely controlling the energy required to use high-class Kidou. Thirdly, the cast times of each fused spell are compounded. Finally, when using this Technique, one cannot use a multicasting Technique, Feat, or PrC skill.


[ Shunkou ] -- "Instant War Cry" (Atk/Bst/Aur)
Torrents of Kidou can now be channeled to support the body of the user in unarmed combat. These torrents manifest themselves as explosively charged electric lines of spiritual power that radiate outwards from the user's shoulders and back. While the torrents are in place, the user will experience a +20% boost to both Hakuda and Hohou. In addition, the user is able to channel large amounts of Kidou to release huge blasts of Kidou energy with their strikes. These blasts of energy cost 15% of the user's total Kidou value with each use. Also, by learning Shunkou, the user gains access to the defensive Technique, Hanki, with the additional requirement of having to be learned by itself in the form of a written volume dedicated solely to learning the Technique. Shunkou's duration (in rounds) can be calculated by taking the average of Hakuda and Kidou, dividing that value by 1,000, and rounding it to the nearest whole number, with a Kidou drain of 5% of the user's max Kidou for each passing round.

[ Hanki ] -- "Anti-Spirit" (Def/-/-)
Cancels out non-Kidou attacks valued less than the character's current Reiatsu by counteracting the attack's flow of energy. However, the user must expend the exact same amount of Reiatsu for this effect to work. If the attacker's Reiatsu is lower than the user's base Kidou value, they are subject to a counterattack. Against other PCs, it can only be used with permission.

[ Onidama Shunpo ] -- "Demon God Shunpo" (Atk/Mov/-)
A combination of the physical prowess and speed used to strike one's foe quickly and effectively. This Technique allows the user to use Shunpo and propel a concentrated attack perfectly into a specific part of their opponent's body, causing severe damage to the inflicted area. A large amount of Reiatsu is used, and if the character's Hakuda is not higher than one's target and the Hohou similar, the attack may be easily countered. Otherwise, the Technique has a high chance of success.

[ Kidounen ] -- "Kidou Burn" (Bst/-/-)
This character is able siphon off his/her Reiatsu in order to increase the effectiveness of their Kidou. For every 10% of total Reiatsu drained, Kidou stat increases by +15%. Drained Reiatsu cannot be recovered until the end of every week (each time grades come out). The Kidou stat's boost may never breach +40%. When this Tech is used to boost Kidou by +40%, the entire effect stays in effect for three turns.

Kyin's gauntlets:
Luna & Sol

Bio: Sol and Luna were two gauntlets that Kyin found while searching through one of the Arcana's previous headquarters. When he found them, the gauntlets were very damaged. However, he managed to repair the form and the magic seals that covered their entirety. It was strange seeing as he had never seen anything like that, but he liked it. When sealed Luna and Sol are simply symbols of a sun(Sol) and crescent moon(Luna), on the outside of Kyin's palms.

Description:

Sol -- Sol is Kyin's right gauntlet, it is mostly black with dark red streaks running all around it. On the outside palm is a picture of a crimson sun, the sun and the red streaks glow when Kyin concentrates energy into them. The gauntlet is very thin only made up of about 1.5 centimeters of metal. However, the metal itself is very light and very durable. The palm is covered with an extremely thin, breathable metal. While it has some protective properties it is mainly a balance between maneuverability and protection. Sol runs up a few inches before Kyin's elbow, a five-inch spike protruding out the end. The gauntlets are also covered in many strange symbols.

Abilities -- Albeit the usual protection of the metal, the magic symbols covering Sol along much great control of Kyin's spiritual pressure. When he charges SP in his right hand, the sun symbol begins to glow. While like this the power of Kyin's offensive kidou increases slightly (1.4 power), the destructive power of his right arm also increases.

Luna - Luna is Kyin's left gauntlet, it is mostly black with dark blue streaks running all around it. On the outside palm is a picture of a blue moon, the moon and the blue streaks glow when Kyin concentrates energy into them. The gauntlet is very thin only made up of about 2 centimeters of metal. However, the metal itself is very light and very durable. The palm is covered with an extremely thin, breathable metal. While it has some protective properties it is mainly a balance between maneuverability and protection. Luna runs up a few inches before Kyin's elbow, a five-inch spike protruding out the end. The gauntlets are also covered in many strange symbols.

Abilities -- Unlike Sol, Luna is a much more defensive than Sol. While it's concentrated energy can also increase the power of Kidou attack (though not as much as Sol only about 1.15 power) it mostly focuses on defensive kidou. Its concentration and either allow defensive and support kidou to become stronger, or to last longer. When the energy is concentrated, Luna itself can use the spiritual energy to form small temporary barriers around it. These barriers can cover Luna directly, or be projected a few inches away from Luna.

Specialty: Arcane Sciences and Technologies (AST)
The AST is a special shinigami unit in charge of developing new technologies and kidou-based skills. They're also in charge of studying many of the unexplainable phenomena that occur in the many different realms. Their technological development ranges from creating simple devices to make everyday life easier, to creating pioneering technology in their field range.

They work with things as simple as household items to weaponry, producing devices and weapons for the Keigun and other Central organizations also making defense items for the Seireitei. They are also known to produce and perform combat enhancing items and objects along with other useful nitnacks that are used in the user's specific line of work. Things like spy gear for the Keigun, and research tech for the Onmitsu when needed.

Known to perform multiple genetic and non-genetic research experiments. The 8th division keeps records of all data on human, souls, hollows, and all other living beings along with many non-living objects like zanpakutou and such. They then use this in their human and technological modding practices, after which they record all the data they have received for use by the rest of Central.

Outside of their technical and research duties, the 8th is responsible for studying all unexplainable and paranormal occurrences within Soul Society. Using the special equipment that they develop for the scenes. They then try to collect, decipher, and use whatever they find and find the reason that it had come to exist. And if something cannot be explained, they are still in charge of keeping record of said occurrences.

The members of the 8th division are known for intelligence. They have a very acute understanding of the world and are greatly curious about anything they can't understand, making them not only great scientist but also skilled combatants when needed.

Though renown for their curious, they are also feared because of it. Members of the division are known to get into trouble here and now. Known to study any and almost everything that they can. That doesn't stop them however; they just try harder not to get caught the next time.

Logical in almost every sense, the 8th division believes that there is a feasible explanation to almost everything. Not to say, however, that they don't know the supernatural exists. Just to say that they believe it exists for a reason.



8th Division Techniques
Arcane Sciences and Technologies (AST)[/center]


** [ Severed Chain ] -- A special Technique in which the user delivers a precise punch to their opponent's spine or spleen, using direct Spiritual Pressure to disrupt the power flow. The hit disrupts the flow of the Hakusui and Saketsu, reducing the efficiency of the energy being delivered through the body. During that time, the target's Spiritual Pressure is reduced to -20% for five of his/her turns.

A master of the Severed Chain Technique can also deliver strikes to the arms, legs and head. An attack the legs will lower Hohou by -20% for five turns, the arms will reduce Zanjutsu and Hakuda by -15% for four turns, and a strike to the head will reduce all stats by -10% for three. However, this level of skill requires at least 2,000 in Hakuda; 1,000-1,999 will only cause a maximum of -10% reduction, and less than 1,000 will only equal a maximum of -5% decrease. When these limb-targeting strikes are executed, however, the opponent's Spiritual Pressure remains unaffected.

However, these strikes take a good amount of Spiritual Pressure and precise aim, so doing it repeatedly will tire the user out.

** [ Ascension ] -- An ability that can only be used by someone who understands the Hakusui and Saketsu. This allows the person to release trapped energy in said organs, and concentrate the spiritual energy they do have. While doing this, their Spiritual Pressure will rise by +20% and Hohou will rise by +15%, hence their Shunpo experiences a rise in efficacy as a result. However, this will only last for up to five minutes, then the body will shut down and a person will experience a -20% down in Spiritual Pressure for about three minutes. However, if it is cancelled before it becomes critical, the decrease will only be -10% and last for about a minute, though the ability won't be able to be used again for at least another three minutes either way.

** [ Charon's Road ] -- Charon's Road is a teleportation ability developed by Kyin Fenre, taking the knowledge of the rapid transportation of Reishi and gate technology developed from previous generations. The user of this Kidou Tech quickly opens up a small gate within their environs, and then they quickly sprint through that gate to another checkpoint.

Raw gate teleportation is very taxing and only a few can use it. That is why most users use a series of set teleportation points to get around in. Their teleportation also doesn't work in a setting with large amounts of Bloodstone, and it is disrupted by large amounts of Spiritual Pressure. However, that is only when passing through Bloodstone. Disruptions from Spiritual Pressures only make it a bit more difficult, and the pressures must be massive in comparison to the user's.

Teleportation cannot be used in attacks, because when teleportation occurs, it takes a few seconds for the user's Reishi to reform, making them temporarily vulnerable and unable to do anything, though that doesn't mean it can't be used in evasion. But even then, rapid teleportation is tiring. However, to people who practice enough with it, it can become like breathing.

** [ Sloth's Redemption ] -- This is an ability that allows the user to slowly recover and regain spiritual energy much faster than normal. The ability concentrates the excess Spiritual Pressure into the user, allowing it to be used more efficiently than normal. This ability can heal minor wounds and recover energy, however it cannot be used to recover the person completely.

While using this spell however, the user will feel a temporary -15% drop in Spiritual Pressure. The Technique's effectiveness is even greater if the user remains stationary, but that isn't necessary.

~Aburamushi~

Description: Aburamushi looks much like a normal zanpakutou, however his blade is now a coal black. The blade's form is covered in runes. Though they do nothing in particular, they are known to shine brightly when the blade is charged with spiritual energy. The sword is a little shorter than most zanpakutou, however it cutting edge is also a bit sharper.

Aburamushi's tsuba is blade with a flowing grip design for comfort and manipulation. The butt of the sword has an illegible mark on it, one that even Kyin does not understand.

Aburamushi's sheath is a dark reddish color, with a spiraling black going up and down both ends.





1st form:

Aburamushi

To activate Kyin says: Extinguish, Aburamushi!​

In this form it becomes a dual-fanged sword about a little less than 3 feet (90cm) in length. The tips of the blade points downward and the edges are crimson. The hilt and blade length increased, Aburamushi also had a long (3 inches), slender spike at the end of its hilt.

Ability: Whenever Aburamushi strikes or is stricken it releases a dark, crimson smoke cloud of small spores within a radius of about 5 feet. These spores attach to the closet spiritual energies (excluding The wielder and Aburamushi himself) within range (If Aburamushi wounds an opponent directly he will directly inject the spores without the ability). When these spores attach to a target they drain the target of a fixed amount of spiritual power based on spiritual pressure...weakening that target the longer they are attracted. However Kyin can control what spores are active and which are dormant, allowing his allies to be unaffected.

The drain rates are as such (measured in turns):

0% to 5% = 20%
6% to 25% = 12%
26% to 50% = 8%
51% to 75% = 5%
76% to 150% = 3%
151% to 200% = 2%
Over 200% = 1%

The spores afflicting the opponent will mature after 10 turns and they will stop draining energy. However, after that they can sprout from the opponent's body as a brutal flower, the flower ranging from a small barbed rose to a giant cactus like creation depending on how much the targets has been infected with.

The sword also gains a faint glow as it drains an energy from its surroundings and once it has reached a 10% level of drainage, Kyin can pour 5% of his own reiatsu into an attack and release a powerful wave of energy. He can also use the attack without outside reiatsu but when he does it costs him 10% of his reiatsu instead of 5%.

2nd form

Name: Oni Aburamushi

Release: Morph, Aburamushi

Appearance/Abilities: In this form, Aburamushi becomes grafted to Kyin's left arm, forming a thick cover around the forearm. Four, four feet long bio-metal snake-like limbs protrude from the base one diagonal from the other another, all about 6 inches in diameter. The forearm cover forming an opening in the middle where Kyin's left palm would be. Each limb has a worm like mouth, razor sharp rows of teeth going all the way down its mouth if ensnared by these teeth they will drain and wound the opponent at the same time.

When the mouths are closed they resemble spearheads and can puncture an opponent's skin. The limbs are also coated with a special chemical that can cause fatigue in an opponent if held in their grasps for too long. The limbs can all retract into the casing and combine, the end of the hand guard (the center of the zanpakutou which is usually used for firing kidou) becoming a lance of about 4 ½ feet, one that drains the opponent's strength when they are struck by it. Even causing the stricken area to heal slower (even with the use of Chiyudo the stricken area will not heal completely).

The affect goes as such (these charts are for clean hits, light hits (flesh wounds) are halved effectiveness):

Heavy Exhaustion = Severely slowed movement for 8 turns
Medium Exhaustion = Sluggish movement for 8 turns
Average Exhaustion = Sluggish movement for 5 turns
Low Exhaustion = Sluggish movement for 3 turns
Minor Exhaustion = Sluggish movement for 2-1 turns

Name: Shugun Aburamushi

Release: Break, Aburamushi

Appearance/Abilities: In this form, Aburamushi's blade melts into a liquid form. Separating into 3 four-feet long worm-like being. These beings have bodies as durable as their master's zanpakutou and are covered in a black, slimy ocher. Their body are segmented with spikes in 4 diagonal corners. The spikes are about 1 inch each, and separated by about 2.5 inches each. They have spear-like tails for fending off attacks and they mouths have a set of very sharp teeth. They all also have one red "eye" on their faces; the eye is made of the same metal but can also have other purposes.

In this form, Aburamushi swirls around Kyin fending off any attack they can catch. They mostly depend on detecting spiritual pressure and their eyes to block attacks, but Kyin can manipulate them to do his bidding also. He can make them swarm an opponent, focus them on him, or set themselves in specific positions for attacks. When attacking, the worms can dig their sharp fangs into an opponent's skin.

The black ocher itself is a strong neural poison. If the worms simply wound the person, they will only temporary neutralize the nerves in that area of that body for a maximum of 3 turns. However, if they dig into the opponent they can attach themselves to the person's nervous system, by sending out mini-tendrils through their spikes. At first they are only able to effect muscle movement in that area, but if they are attached for too long their area of influence increases until they fully control the target.

The affect goes like this:

3 turns: The afflicted will have to fight with the wyrm, but for the most part they will have full control of their body. (30/70)
6 turns: The wyrm will now have the same amount of influence over its target as the target itself. (50/50)

Shift - Kokuunuirusa Aburamushi (Black Cloud Virus Parasite)​

Using an ancient power, Kyin gains the ability to draw upon past experiences and deconstruct and reconstruct Aburamushi's form. Aburamushi's shikai form disintegrates and breaks away, the two-pronged sword then fading. The sword then reforms into a slender, charcoal colored katana. The blade is about 4ft long and the hilt about 1ft. The hilt and guard of the blade are a dark crimson.

Once activated, the blade starts to glow with a dark aura one that steams menacingly from the sword. The mist wavers out thickly and can cover up to 5ft in a matter of seconds. If the mist is inhaled or leaks in through the ears, it starts to settle within the bloodstream. Once it settles the mist starts to take control of the cells inside the body. Infected cells can be noticed because they start change from red to black(the change being noticed the most when the inflicted bleeds). The black meaning that the cell has been fully infect with the virus.

Once a cell is fully infected, it starts goes into a state of paralysis. It stiffens and ridges and loses the ability to move, it can still sustain itself a short time but if left like that it will start to die.

Once the body is infected, the virus starts to climb up the body at a speed of about a feet every 5 turns, starting at the toes and fingertips. When an opponent is struck with the blade, the injured part of the body will become completely inflected after about 10 seconds and the process will be sped up in that area. Once the virus reaches the heart it will cause breathing problems in the user and might even render them unconscious. Once it reaches the brain however, if the zanpakutou is not resealed the victim will die.

The speed of the infection can be cut down depending on how much SP Kyin's opponent has compared to him. It will be cut down by ½ against someone with double his sp, 1/3 by someone with 3 times his SP, etc, etc. The power of the paralysis will also start to cut down.

Under 50% Kyin's SP = 75% paralysis
Under 25% to Over 25% Kyin's SP = 50% paralysis
Over 50% = 25% Paralysis
Over 100% = 10% Paralysis

However, if the part is cut in an area, the level of paralysis doubles in that general area.

Ashura Aburamushi (War Demon Parasite)

Description: The sword Aburamushi explodes, reforming around Kyin. As the light wraps around Kyin a gigantic form of a monstrous wyrm can be seen before the energy dissipates. An insect-like shell forms around his left arm, right arm, chest, and shoulder blades. The shell is very durable and resistant and about two inches deep, except around the joints.

The shell also sprouts insect-like wings with a wingspan of about seven to eight feet. The wings give Kyin the gift of flight, however it is somewhat limited.

A long, ghostly scarf formed of unknown energy forms around his neck and tribal tattoos cover the shell. However, those are not known to have any specific effect. His pupil is now reconfigured and more insect-like, probably the reason he can see through his cloud and many other vision-distorting elements.

Kyin's left arm has the four slots on his left arm denoting the creatures from his Oni Aburamushi form. The right arm's shelling has a slit in at the upper wrist, denoting a blade. The blade can retract at will, having a maximum length of about three feet.

Kyin also now has seven worm-like parasites hovering around him instead of three and a small set of wasp-like creature hovering around each of them. The floating wyrms act by themselves for the most part, unless commanded otherwise. However, they will usually only protect Kyin, and attack when an opponent gets too close. Their bodies are no longer steel, rather a strong insect shelling, about, as strong as steel in itself and with a high resistant to harsh conditions.

The wasp are not said to have the same protection, but they can regenerate from Kyin using his gathered energy. They release a weak toxin when they sting the target. The toxin causes slight burning in small amounts and can cause temporary hallucination if they inject too much into the opponent's body.

Abilities:

Wings & Spores: The wings on Kyin back now spread the spores when flapped, a thick cloud always surrounding him. The spore cloud, but thins out as it separates from Kyin. Though, they will remain airborne for a few moments before falling to the ground. And, they can now be spread through the wind. When he flies, his spores are forced out like a trail of flickering red snow.

Unlike the spores in Kyin's first form, these spores grow while draining energy. And depending on where they attach themselves they can cause anything from itchy skin to the complete rupturing of vital organs along with the fatiguing affect. However, the most severe cases need a decent inhaling of the dangerous spores. Usually they will cause bits of nausea and the coughing up of blood.

The wings can also drains the energy of the earth around him - powering his blade and slowly healing minor wounds. If his opponent stays in his range for too long the draining effect can even affect them. Kyin's wings can regenerate by draining the environs energy, but that still usually takes two minutes depending on severity.

Right Blade: The right arm's shelling has a slit in at the upper wrist, denoting a blade. The blade can retract at will, having a maximum length of about three feet. The main use of the blade is for direct combat. The blade has a special coating around the blade.

The coating doesn't do anything new; it simply injects his spores directly into his opponent's. His blade glows red whenever he gathers enough energy, gaining the increased strength and the ability to use the energy slash.

Depending on the amount of life in the area his blade can take anywhere from thirty seconds to one minute to charge. And while the shots use gathered energy, since they still use a good deal of his own, they cannot be used many times in one fight. The energy blast has become more accustomed to use for Kyin, so it now looks like a striking fissure.

Left Hand: The tendrils on his left arm retain their abilities except now they have a maximum reach of twenty ft and are about a four inches thick each. However, the tendrils can only reach about six or more feet and stay out, at longer distances they will retract after thirty seconds. They have a high manipulability and can be moved around during to and send in different directions.

They can still retract and form the spear, but it is still only four and a half ft long. The tendrils still can fire kidou energy and have a fatiguing fluid on the outside of their bodies, and the spear is also coated with a fluid that will eat away at the part of the body it hits, slowing the healing process.

Wyrms: The floating parasites around him are all now six ft long, and have tiny, sharp spines covering their body that are about one foot thick. They retain their old abilities, but now they can wrap around opponent's confining them and they now carry the same spores as Kyin's, injecting them right into the body with direct contact. Or they can burst out small clouds of spores, but after that it takes a few moments for them to regenerate the spores.

They are segmented in one ft intervals, allowing them to split. However, in this state they are used more for protection (Their toxin becoming substantially weaker, they can only be effective in m*** or if the opponent is biting repeatedly). The parasites can also connect with each other through the ends or the spine slots, causing interesting combinations.

The wyrms can move high speeds making themselves seem blurry in the process. However this is only most effective in the separated form. The speed dropping a bit the more they combine, but their power increasing along with it.

Shinno Bankai - Enma Aburamushi (Great Demon Parasite)

Appearance: Kyin's body armor becomes more pronounced. The armor is now plated having a stacked looking over each of them, with small slots between each of the slots. Kyin's wings change from 2 to 6 and they now look more butterfly-like and have a thicker and more intricate design. The body armor is now black with wild red symbols covering it. His sword and energy draining abilities remain, but he no longer has access to the wave attack.

Ability: Kyin has the ability to spray out his spores from his body armor. When that it done the spores spread out in a thirty-foot radius, floating sailing lightly in the air. The spore drain the spiritons from the surrounding area and the spiritual power of any source of energy that they stick to, exhausting that being power depending on how strong the thing is in comparison to Kyin.

The spores are now winged bug-like creatures. Though they look like they are alive, they are actually just creations of Kyin's spiritual energy. The forms are movable, but unless Kyin moves them at once, they'll seemly go to the nearest energy source and take root until given commands.

The spores work basically the same when they land on living and non-living surfaces, however they activate differently. When used on the landscape, Kyin's spores take root instantly, sprouting out into large, spiny vines constructed of the same material as his armor a few seconds later. And if there is no ground currently in his presence, Kyin has the ability to sprout the tendril onto his armor. Though, he can only control up to ten vines at one giving time.

As for the vines themselves, other then being strong, they are covered with many sharp spines. The spines not only cut, but they also secrete more spores, allow Kyin to infect people directly with them if the tendrils wound them.

This is only for non-living creatures. As for living creatures, the vines do not sprout on people. Rather, the parasite starts to feed on and weaken the person by draining away at their spiritual pressure. Once matured the Parasite nests itself onto the creature's spine, or any part of the nervous system that is available, then sprouts. The fully sprouted parasite then allows Kyin to control the person/creature by having the parasite redirect their thought processes.

Anyone who is of less than half Kyin's spiritual energy when the parasite sprouts is brought until his complete control, similar spiritual pressure: 80%, 1.5 times: 50 percent, 1.75: 25%, and 2x or more unaffected. However, even if the person cannot be controlled, once the spores their spiritual energy will be drained regardless infect them, and if they are embedded with more than one spore, the control on the body is rendered stronger. However, only one spore can grow at a time, so a person could not be infected again until the spore before that one matures.

As for maturation, the spore does not mature until it drains 10% of the person's SP. The drain speed depends on the strength of the controlled person. Which takes about 30 seconds for people weaker than him, 45 seconds for people of similar strength, 60 seconds for people of more than half his strength. 90 seconds for people of double his strength, and an extra minute for every extra times afterward.



KYOUSHOU BANKAI[No Longer Usable]


Master Bankai - Akujin Aburamushi(Evil God Parasite)

Kyin's final attack.

Kyin's spiritual energy begins to form around his wings, making them into gigantic. A small, dark crimson vortex then forms around him. The swirling vortex wailing around with a cloud of energy. Kyin's aura begins to drain and break down all energy in the area at an astounding rate, even consuming the energy given off by his opponent. A giant wyrm made of pure energy than springs from Kyin, whipping around the man then shooting forth.

The wyrm lashes out, destroying and consuming all the energy that gets in its path. Once completed, the energy around Kyin's wings and the unstable vortex will disappear. What is left is little more than a barren wasteland.



Compressed Bankai -
Death's Butterfly, Graeivius​

Kyin's compressed bankai form, Graeivius works by combining the powers of Kyin's bankai, Shinno, and Kyoushou into one perfect form.

When released, the large red wings that were once apart of Kyin's Kyoushou shrink down to fit Kyin's body perfectly. Kyin also retains the armor that he had during his bankai, except now he also bears shin-guards of the same form as the rest of the armor with clawed foot armor. The armor is now covered in tiny spines from head to toe, and releases Kyin parasitic virus whenever they strike a person. A giant fissure is also created in the ground when the form is released, the figure of a gigantic winged skeleton appearing from it.

The skeleton is decayed and decays whatever it touches in the same fashion. However, it does not attack itself. Rather, multiple veiny tendrils explodes from the skeletons body and dig into the nearest pieces of earth they can find. The skeleton then moved holds in place, hunching over much like a humanoid would. Its jaw is also hung open, spraying out a Kyin's fog through the entire area. The tendrils act just like they did in Kyin's Shinno, taking in the energy from their surrounding and transforming it into mist that they spray out through large pores.

The fog is more potent than it has ever been before, draining away the strength of his opponent's much faster than it used to and covering the inflicted body in a strange tattoo(effect explained later). Kyin still use this stored energy in a multitude of ways. Healing him or the skeleton from damage (can only heal low to mid wounds in a few turns (high level wounds take a much longer time), or coiling the energy in around his armor to increases it's defensive/offensive power. The stored energy can also be released all at once, in one powerful blast of energy. The beam being able to be fired from the skull point too for a larger spread.

As for fog drainage rates:

It drains 1% SP a turn against someone of 3 times my strength or more.
2% for someone of 2x my SP
4% for someone of similar SP
7% for someone of half my SP
10% for someone 1/4 my SP
20% from somone 1/8 my SP

Once 20% of ones SP have been drained through this effect, the user's body will be fully covered in the tattoo and their body will have a slight stiffen, reducing its efficiency.

-Compressed Attack-
~Burial of the Crimson Butterfly~​

Description: Ripping a bone from his skeleton formed in his compressed, Kyin remolds the bone with his reiatsu to mimic Aburamushi's basic shikai form of a sword. The man then exposes the sword to the air and concentrates, vacuuming in energies from his surroundings at an amazing rate.

Commanding the spiritons with the way of his blade, the captain then stabs the sword into the ground, commanding his infusing his bankai's tendrils with the power. The tendrils are charged to the point that they vibrate off a crimson aura.

The tendrils then all shoot out at once wrapping around the target and incasing them inside. The sword then breaks apart and reforms in front of the cocoon. The tendrils' thorn then shoot right into the person the as the blade digs itself into the cocoon to impale its captive, drain their reiatsu directly.

While captured in the cocoon, the opponent's reiatsu will be drained going on this chart:

1/4 Kyin's SP: 30% Sp drain
Half Kyin's SP: 20% Sp drain
Within 25% of Kyin's reiatsu: 15% Sp drain
More than 50% up to 3% his Reiatsu: 10% SP Drain

After the opponent is drained, the blade lets off a dark tint and the thorns of Kyin's tendrils all hook into the cocoon and extend, shooting out each side of the makeshift cage and forming a pair of twisted wings.

Because of the strain it causes Kyin, the man can only do this attack for a maximum of 3 times in a battle and he has to wait at least 4 turns between each attempt and a 6% drain to with each use.


Suppression:
Black Cocoon Denial​

Description: Kyin stabs his sword into the ground, a black arcane symbol appearing under his opponent. The symbol forms a dark dome around his target and the symbols on the dome are embedded onto their bodies. For the next five turns all forms of attacks that involve external output of energy are negated and usable, effects that increase internal power are also halved. Kai effects are also sealed away (however the reiatsu boost that comes from the kai are not).

This move costs 10% of Kyin's reiatsu to use, cannot be used more than once a battle, and isn't effective against anyone 2x greater than him in strength. His own kai effects are also sealed away while this technique is active (the sword's power being used to seal away his opponent's moves).

Physical attributes: Lin is 5' 8" and about 110 lbs, light-skinned looks as of European background. Lin has violet eyes, and dark brownish hair. She always wears her hair long and in some kind of braid.

Persona: Lin is a very mature and caring person, though can still be silly at times. Most people who don't know her tend to think she's stuffy, but being the oldest of Kyin's group had was the motherly one and had to lead the others. One thing most people don't know is that Lin can be very sensitive and she is likely to take things people say to her seriously even if they're joking. Though she doesn't let others know it, which causes problems when she lets it all out at once.

History: Lin, like Kyin was stranded in the living world before she was sent to Soul Society. It wasn't so much that she was stranded more so that she felt the need to stay. Her parents dying when she was only 13, leaving behind her 25 and 10 year old brothers with whom she was forced to stay. It was unpleasant for her at times, having to watch over her younger brother, her older one usually working too hard to help. However, being the way she was she found it necessary. Unfortunately, one day a year or so later, while walking home with her brother they both would be involved in a crash caused by a runaway driver trying to evade the police. She died almost instantly; her brother on the other hand was able to be saved. Her spirit lingered on with the over-whelming need to watch over her family.

As time passed and they started to think about her less, like all wandering spirits filled with desperate she started to degenerate into a hollow. However, before her transformation was complete she was saved by a Shinigami and transported to Soul Society. Living in the 52nd district, one of the poorer districts, she had to be clever to survive. As she started to gain more knowledge of how the Rukongai worked, she would go on help other children in need, whether temporary or for a longer extent -- getting work when they could, stealing when they could not. Lin would meet Kyin after being kicked out of a section of district 52 that knew her little group's deeds quite well. Seeing that Lin and her group had nowhere to go he invited them to stay at a little shack he had been left by his "father" . Even though she didn't like Kyin's attitude upon first meeting him they were desperate so she agreed. Kyin and she would go on to have many fights also, with her bossy attitude and his laid back attitude constantly colliding. Though after being together for a while, they both became the best of friends (though neither will admit it) and see started to see him as a little brother.

After hearing of the opening of the new Shinigami academy, Lin would go on to suggest to everyone else in the group to join - since they all possessed spiritual power to some extent. All agreeing that it was most sensible thing to do. After training for many years and finally being accepted they would go on to join the academy, Lin herself being one of the upperclass.

Lin seems to know many things about Kyin that he does not know about himself. These things seem to scare her though, and she keeps them mostly to herself.



Zanpakutou: Roiyaru(Royal)

Release phrase: Reveal yourself, Roiyaru!

Normal Form: Lin uses two short swords (both about 1'2" in length) The blades are curved a little, and they sport a dragon design that wraps around the blades. The blades are a brilliant silver, jagging running along the edge and back to allow easy shred. The hilts house tiny finger slots allowing the wielder to twirl them.

Shikai: In this form Lin's blades become much longer, the blades themselves don't do much except gain the agility to be thrown at the opponent like boomerangs. However, Lin gains great increases in her own physical attributes of about 15-20%.

[Rift shot] Lin can charge of power in her knifes then fling them outward. The energy shoots out and slicing anything withing 8ft of their blades, and leaving a strange blue trail. Seconds later, the trail starts to glow then they explode. Tearing apart anything in the line of the rift, and heavily injuring anything that gets too close.

BANKAI[/i]

Gougijinkun(Grand Sovereign)

Description: When released a metal liquid passes over Lin's body. A slightly angelic looking armor covers her body and it gives off an etheral glow. Gougijinkun raises all Lin's stats by 15% while activated and triples her speed. In this form the blades are locked onto her body as armblades and when she strikes out they are like great flashes of light.

[Grand Rift] - Wings of light sprout from Lin's back. The woman shoots off at the speed of light, a bright trial of light left in her path. Not only can a direct attack from this cause great damage, but so can the massive explosion that occurs afterward.

[Shinedown] - Lin's bankai desperation attack. The wings reappear on her back and she flies into the air. Stretching her arms out, her armor starts to seperate from her body. The armor then explodes, a bright and powerful explosion bursting out and engulfing a wide area. Though powerful, when released Lin's zanpakutou returns to it's sealed state and cannot be reactivated for at least 2-3 minutes.

Appearance: Lasu stands at about 6'3" and 210 lbs. Considered to be the "muscle of the group." He is pretty average in appearance having black hair, brown eyes, and a marginal skin toning. It is hard to tell Lasu's dominant ethnicity, him being of mixed races(though he never says, or he can't really remember.) The rest of his friends usually try to guess from his name but being fake - he only took it because it sounded cool - they're left with nothing. Lasu's hair is usually kept short, he isn't all that big on personal grooming so he simply picks hairstyles, clothing, etc. that require low maintenance. As for physical accessories, he loves wearing wristbands of any kind along with any other athletic yet stylish clothing.

Persona: Jolly and lively, Lasu is always the life of the party - or the drunken ***, which ever way you look at it. There are few times when he is ever serious though so it's hard to tell when he is and isn't joking. It's also very difficult to get him to listen to complicated things. Lasu is very protective and believes highly in honor, because of this though he is prone to violence and butts into the businesses of others quite a lot.

History: The only thing about his life that Lasu remembers is his death. He recalls being held up in a robbery of sorts and accidently being shot while trying to wrestle the culprit to the floor, everything after and before that is pretty much a blur. Though, he does have slight memories of his grandfather now and then. Lasu doesn't care much anyway, that was his human life, he looks at his soul life as a new experience. As such he was transported to Soul society willingly upon his death.

Having been transported to District 52, Lasu thought it was a dump, however being one of the bulkier children he was usually able to find some work or other. Confident and outspoken, there were many times where he would get into trouble simply for speaking his opinion. One day, Lasu saw a little boy being picked on by a group of much older children. Always having a strong sense of justice, he sprung into action. To keep this fair he challenged all the boys to one-on-one matches. Feeling confident in themselves they arrogantly agreed...Lasu beat every last one of them horribly. Thanked by the boy's family for bringing him home Lasu felt contend with himself and didn't bother to except their reward. He would simply go on into the night, feeling that he didn't really need a reward to help anyone.

While walking by home he felt a cold sting against the back of his head, as he involuntarily fell to his knees. It seemed as though the group of boys he had just pummeled earlier didn't know how to let things go, and being the cowards they were decided to attack him again - this time properly armed. Try as he might, Lasu was no match for them and was promptly beaten. Before completely blacking out, he would go on to hear the voice of a somewhat angry girl, though still too disoriented to see or hear straight he was quickly taken by the darkness. When he awakened he would come too in a small shed, a somewhat bruised but smiling girl looking down upon him. Upon asking what happened and how he get here, she would simply respond that after she pummeled that group of boys and tended to him he didn't regain consciousness for a couple of days. She then told he to lay back down and continue resting. He would have objected had he not concluded his complaints would have simply fell on deaf ears..

While walking down to the town with her a few days later, Lasu couldn't help but feel indebted to the girl he promised to pay her back in full. She replied telling him he could do whatever he wanted, and added that she hoped he fought better than he did when they first met. Laughing, he asked her name and all she said was "Lin" He simply smiled as he followed her down the forested road and said "Mine's Lasu." Lin would go on to say if she had asked that with a smile plastered her on her too.

Lasu was injured during a battle against the now deceased Quinto. Even though severely wouned he is optimistic about getting better.



Zanpakutou: Toukai Genkotsu

Release: Pummel, Genkotsu!

Normal form: An average zanpakutou

Shikai: In its shikai form, Genkotsu becomes guanlets graphed on to Lasu's fist. These guanlets not only increse his strength and punching power but also allow him to break down walls. They can also allow him to punch down walls. The guantlets are silver and somewhat thick, They have little airholes all around the back of them. Because Genkotsu concentrates so much power, it must "cool off" every now and then. That is what the holes are for. When overheating, Genkotsu will release large amounts of "waste" energy from them.

Fissure: Lasu can strike the ground with Genkotsu and make giant crater. He can manipulate the force that is delivered, even allowing him to create mini-earthquakes and fissures to attack.

~BANKAI~ - Reaver

Description: Genkotsu breaks away from Lasu, the spiritons spinning and regathering on his arms. The gauntlets now cover his entire arms and the steam vents are on the edges of the spikes that run of the edge of the gauntlets.

Reaver works by manipulating Lasu's spiritual energy and the energy around him to accel his body. This allows not only for Lasu's strikes to be even stronger, but it allows for him to use a more advanced form of shyunpo. The gauntlets even allow him to levitate for a short amount of time. It's said that during his practices on a random Seireitei mountain, that the top of the mountain was turned into a giant crater.

Zanpakutuo: Show me the path, Tsumeato

Shikai: In this form Tsumeato becomes two sais; their surfaces infused with spiritual energy. When Tsumeato strikes at a zanpakutou or another person. These scars expand into a symbol, and once the symbol is completed Tsumeato and it form a direct link. May's kidou can then attack and home in on the opponent, and it does 2x damage. The symbol can also self-destruct as a last minute measure.

[Dancing Nails] - Three glowing violet strings shoot from Tsumeato's blade. The strings are about 3 meters long and act much like streamers. When anything comes into contact with the strings, powerfully concentrated reisatsu slices through it...making it look like the object was just sliced by a beast's claws.

Physical stats: Only 5'2", May is the shortest of the group. She seems to be somewhat asian in appearance. Having violet hair along with somewhat golden eyes her appearance usually seems exotic to people. She always styles her hair in a elegant bun or any "mature" hairstyle see can find - mainly because her friends rightfully call her immature. Obsessive when it comes to clothing she has many different outfits for many different occasion.

Persona: May is a very cheery and immature girl despite everything she has been through. Always trying to have a optimistic attitude even in a worse case scenario, shows how spirited she really is. Though cheery, May is very shy around people she has just met. Because she feels that she will make a fool of herself. Though her small size and meek personality may not show it, but May is quite tough and won't hesitate to strike back if she feels she has been wronged. May buys a lot whenever she has the money, having been born in a very poor and empty society, she'd never had much experience with money and the act of buying "high-end" products makes her feel somewhat important.

History: Unlike the other members of the group(minus Kyin), May was bought up in Soul society and has been there ever since she was born. Raised in the even more destitute 60th district, May was used to the hard times and, growing up, thought that was the way everyone lived. Her parents growing tired of the life they lived, proceeded to make deals on a some kind of "black market" to be secretly transported to a better district. However, due to a falling out during the relocation process May and her family would be separated(and she has now learned that they are deceased). She would only manage to make it to the 52nd district on her own. While better then the 60th, being alone in the district, she still found it difficult to survive alone. Her main source of food being anything passers by could give her.

One day after going for about 2 weeks without anything to eat she would collapse from hunger only later to be awaken by a older boy and girl looking over her as if in concern. She instantly became attached to them, and thought she had finally found a family again. During their early days together not being able to run like the them she would help by using her cute face to distract people while they got whatever was needed from the person. When asked by Lin to become a Shinigami, May instantly agreed being the one who hated the poorer districts the most. Her main concern was being able to finally make money and live in a decent home. May has never shown much interest in relocating her parents even after joining the Academy and finally getting the resources. She barely remembers what they look like let along their last names. May feels she already has a family and doesn't need another one.

May worries over her comrades a lot, having lost her family once. She tends to become highly distressed when one of them is injured or missing.

Zanpakutou: Bachiatari, in its normal form it resembles a magic wand. One that is long and has anicient carvings around it, with a cosmic symbol on its tip. Bachiatari also has a hidden blade that Dus can summon, he only uses it for hollows and close battles though.

Shikai: While in shikai form, Dus's kidou stat doubles. His chanting speed becomes much faster and spell accurancy becomes much better, and he has access to spells he cannot normally do.

Summon Yios: Dus can summon a creature formed from his energy named Yios. Yios has no kidou or connection however all his other stats are about 1.5 times those of Dus's relative stat. Yios is a black lion-like creature, whose body is covered in seals. The seals glow whenever Yios moves, and start to dim as his power wanes. Yios has two tails, both of them with a black flame on the end. When powering up, Yio's flames grow.

[Dark Orb] - Yios shoots out a black sphere. The orb explodes violently against the opponent, causing great damage to the target.

Summon Crak: Dus can summon the creature, Crak. Crak is a humanoid creature with the body of a man and the face of a bull. Crak has 2 times Dus's zanjutsu and SP and .8 times Dus's Hakuda and Hohou. Crak's weapon of choice is a giant warhammer.

[Earth Collapse] - Crak smashes its hammer agaisnt the ground. A bright light shoots out through the cracks, a small earthquake erupting shortly afterwards.

Summon Tribos: Dus can summon the creature, Tribos. Tribos is a giant black, hawk-like creature. Tribos body is covered in light armor and because of its size of 10ft, it has the ability to transport 2-3 people at one time. Tribos hohou is 2.5 times that of Dus, his hakuda is 1.8, it's SP is about the same as Dus's and it's zanjutsu is .1 the same as his.

[Scarring Wind] - Tribos flaps its wings. Winds filled with Reisatsu shoot out at its target, slashing it appart violently.

Appearance: White-grayish hair, Reddish eyes, extremely pale skin - Albino. Dus is 5'10"
and about 175 lbs. He's of light build but doesn't appear to be too skinny. He always wears his hair long and straight. Somewhat effeminate looking, he is teased by Lasu on the daily basis...even in adulthood. He always wears some kind of glasses.

Persona: Quiet and elusive, Dus rarely ever says anything to anyone. He tends to make people uncomfortable in his silence especially since he has a tendency to stare at others for no reason. He his rarely heard coming and usually surprises people when he sneaks up on them. However, Dus is very intelligent and considerate. He simply doesn't like talking unless he has to. He has gone silent for so long though, that he tends to think something when he actually meant to say it out loud. Though he teases him regularly, Lasu is Dus's best friend and makes fun of him mainly for joke. Though Dus usually crushes him in any game of skill...well, mental skill.

History: Being albino and having a severe skin condition since born, Dus rarely if ever spend much time outside. This caused him to become quite reclusive and somewhat afraid of the outside world. Dus would spend most of his times reading some kind of book or other. Sadly, one day while alone at home a fire would start within. Because of his fear of the outside, Dus was too afraid to leave the house. When he finally gained the courage it was too late and his exits would all be sealed off..

For some reason, in Soul society his ailments were no more. Well, he was still albino but his skin wasn't sensitive to sunlight anymore. However, he was still too scared to interact with others. He would usually work around at quiet parts of the day, finding what he could. One day, while returning from one of these expeditions to the little hut he had managed to make within a forest he would bump into someone take a morning walk.

He would go on to hear the boy say "Are you okay?" Frozen with fear he wasn't sure what to do. The boy continued "My name's Lasu, what's yours?" Dus still didn't know what to do he simply muttered and shook. Scratching the back of his head, Lasu was perplexed on what to do. He then got the idea to gave the boy some of food as a sort of piece offering. Dus would simply snatch it and run, as Lasu sighed.

They would bump into each other on many a different occasions, Lasu always greeting Dus, Dus always running off in the end. Until one day, Dus nervously but in a friendly tone managed to return Lasu's usual "Hi..." Seeing he had made some progress, Lasu took this opening to initiate a conversation. They would go on to talk through most of the day, or rather Lasu talked and Dus simply nodded his head in honest interest. After telling his tale and seeing Dus's interest, Lasu asked him to join there group. Dus nervously accepted the offer.

At first, his relationship with the rest of them was pretty shaky, him keeping his distance for a while. However, as time went back he slowly started to open himself up - though he still never talked much. He started to become braver with people and even developed a sense of humor over time. He inwardly thanks Lasu for this.

While he joined the Gotei mostly for his friendsm, he has his own reasons to go also.

Persona: Alec and Ken are basically mirror images, though not biological twins they act and look so much alike that their friends simply call them that. Very friendly and big on humor they make friends easily. However, they can sometimes take things to far and get themselves into trouble because of that. Behind their joking exteriors though, they are very honest and only play tricks on others for comedic effect. They also don't like people being gloomy and will try their best to cheer that person up, Even when that person doesn't want it.

History: Alec and Ken know full well how they died, however they don't find death funny so they never pay much attention to it nor do they tell anyone else (though in truth they both had very tragic childhoods, mainly because of their parents). Alec and Ken met the rest of the group while trying to steal from a market stand during a harvest festival. Neither group was expecting the other and caused quite a commotion, getting themselves captured in the process.

After finally calming down and sizing up their fellow "inmates" (though they weren't really in jail.) Alec and Ken instantly decided that if they were to help them, the other kids could be their subordinates. The taller girl of the two then stood up...and proceeded to pummel the boys until they finally "voluntarily" decided that she was the most suitable person to lead them. After an effective escape, the twins decided that their understudies were quite effective and allowed them to join their group. Though they decided it would be best to let the other girl think so was in charge so they "joined" her group instead.

They would then go on with the group, being the mascots sometimes and the troublemakers at other times. There basic reason for joining the Academy simply to be getting out of the gloomy setting of the 52nd district.

The Black Scorpions:

History: The black scorpions are a small group of rogue shinigami. The team about three and a half years in age. Their name is said to originate from their leader's Shikai ability. They were all former academy students. More obsessed with strength then anything else; they clashed with their instructors multiple times. Finally having enough with the academy, they left refusing to deal with all the rules anymore. The black scorpions are neither good for evil, though some do have agendas. They will fight hollows or shinigami. Though they rarely ever do, they have been recorded having killed a few. Not considered to be a high threat, they should still be reported immediately if seen.

The Scorpions are currently in shambles. One of their members dead, two others revealed to be traitors. As of right now, their future is currently unknown.

Persona: Cold and calculated, he keeps mostly to himself. He lives to become stronger; caring little for his "partners" he will not help them in battle even if they are outnumbered. He feels as if they were not strong enough to win, they were too weak for his group. Though he will not protect his partners, he does believe in honor and will avenge them if they are to die. He will also protect those he feel have been wronged, sometimes even going as far to risk himself. In his time as a wanderer, Kellan has started to let some of the emotions he kept sealed away leak out.

Though still cold to a degree, he has decided to help people more and will even stop what he's doing for it(though he'll pretend like he's doing it only for personal gain). He jokes around a bit more(though because of the way he talks its hard to tell when he is or isn't) and he even talks casually.

Appearance: Kellan is slim about 5'9" in height, and 168 lbs and looks of indescribable descent; his hair is a bluish-black, long and silky in texture. He always keeps it straight, about the same length. His face is always showing a frown. His left arm has a heavy scar across it as if he had been in a serious battle. He wears thin-framed glasses with black rims. His cyan eyes piercing through anything he stares at. Kellan wears the basic shinigami uniform most of the time, except he has the sleeves cut off.

History: Kellan was born into the 1st district to a noble family, though which exact family is unknown because he changed his name. During his academy days, he was one of the tops in his classes never disrespecting a superior. The only real problem that ever occurred was his lack of concern for his comrades. He had been known for using and even ignoring the blight of his fellow rookies during training or hunts. To the point where no one would work with him. "If they were stronger they wouldn't have died" he would say in defense, his neutral expression never changing.

Kellan was later revealed to be a man called Xion Delagos. He ran away from his family and their noble name, no longer able to deal with their cruel ethics. Well, Kellan may be a cold person, he still believes in honor and just couldn't take how they handled things. When he ran away he took not only their future heir(himself) but one of the sacred items that gave them strength. That item was later stolen by Arcana members.

Zanpakutou: Dakatsu

Release Phrase: Sting, Dakatsu

Normal: In its normal form; Dakatsu is shaped much like your average scimitar (a slender longsword, with a curved tip, his has a deep curl)

Shikai: Dakatsu becomes segmented in its mid region, at Kellan's command it can detract and retract. The two segments are connected by a very hard chain with a max length of about 20 ft, the chain is very flexible. Even at max length it is able to stay airborne. Its tip coated with a deadly poison, depending on where it hits, its effects can range from temporary paralysis to instant death (in weaker opponents).

~BANKAI~ Dakashi - Oujou

Description: In this form, Dakashi becomes a long, dark sword-whip with a hooked end shaped much like a scorpion's tail. Dakashi's blades are coated with a deadly poison, much like the shikai form. Except now, instead of just poisoning the enemy it causes a lot of other effects like delium and even paralyzation.

A heavy scorpion-skin like armor covers his arms, and his sword gains multiple splits throughout a the sword. The sword still has many attacks that even Kellan doesn't know yet.

Persona: Much like Kellan she is very cold, however unlike him she has trained herself to be that way. She is a very vengeful person; known for torturing an opponent who hurt her during battle. Even though she tries to be unfeeling, she can be quick to anger. She likes to collect jewelry and other shiny objects. And though she doesn't show it to anyone else she enjoys reading and writing poetry.

Appearance: Victoria had bright blond hair with sky blue eyes, she looks to be of French descent, some of her accent can still be heard sometimes. Victoria's face always carries a fierce yet cool look on it. Her hair is mid-length, braided in the front on the sides. She is about 5'8" and 125 lbs. She hates the shinigami styling so she never wears such attire. Prefferring to wear custom made leather jeans, with a leather top usually.

History: Victoria her soul life within the 35th district, one of the "average" districts. She had led a normal life finding a kind family to live with. However, that all would fall apart one day. Her father killed by a drunken shinigami simply because he spoke up against him. What made it worse was that he had not been charged with anything, his crimes simply ignored. Angry at this she vowed revenge, forever closing herself off from those around her...simply wanting to get strong enough to get stronger. She aspired to be a shinigami, working hard to find the man she remembered from so many years ago. Victoria would later join the academy and finally be granted permission to the Seireitei. Continuing on until see finally found the person she was searching for.

Having found him finally some time later, she challenged him to a battle. The man remembered her face, guilty at what he had done, he humbly agreed. It was a fierce battle, deadlocked for a very long time, ending in Victoria's triumph. She had finally got what she wanted but at the same time she lose what gave her existence meaning. Finding herself with nothing left after finally accomplishing her goal, she fell into a heavy depression. Angry at everyone she would lash out constantly. In the end, causing her expulsion from the academy years later. Left with nothing but her sword, she soon tried to find a purpose in gaining strength, the only thing she thought herself good at. She would go on to challenge and defeat many opponents, until the day she came across Kellan...

The only person in the group truly working for Kellan, she helped him defend their base when Cris and Kilaya revealed themselves as Arcana. Tried as they might though they failed, the woman being terribly wounded in the process. Whether she is still alive is currently a mystery.

Normal: In its normal form it has the form of a rapier, its handguard carries a intricate design of Hydra.

Shikai: Aibyou blade splits into nine different blades, the blades lengthen and droop making it resemble a 9 o' cat's tail. Every blade has a mind of its own, and since they act independently they sometimes become tangled up within each other, other times they may do nothing at all. However when working together, they provide great offense and defense.

Bankai - Jaaku Aibyou

Jaaku Aibyou is a summon created from Victoria's energy. It looks much like the serpentine Hydra seen in mythology books, except it has 9 heads instead of 3. It's body is also covered in a heavy metal coating that acts as a helmet and runs down its slender body. Sans its sheer size and power, Jaaku also has many other impressive abilities. One of its abilities is almost complete regeneration, the other is the ability to spew out a dangerous poison. Jaaku also has a very high intelligent, since each head has its own unique look and thought pattern. However, while that can be a blessing at times it can also cause some conflict between the heads.

THE ARCANA

Description: The Arcana seems to be a cult of some kind. They have quite a few hundred members and they despises the Gotei. They seem to have a ranking system based on color, whether that is true yet is unknown. What is known is that they seem to have a great knowledge of kidou, using spells that were long thought forgotten.

ARCANA TERMINOLOGY

Chosen: A termed used in the Arcana for members who excel at the use of the Arcana's seals. They process the energy at an extradinary rate , and even gain abilites. These abilities range from special power boosts to all-out body changes. Many of the high-ranking Arcana members are "chosen" , however their abilities have not been disclosed.

Greater Ones: The term used to refer to the captains and vice-captains of the Arcana.

House: A group of usually 12(including Captain and Vice-Captain) that rule over each house of the Arcana. The other 10 members of each house are usually just strong Arcana members who have become recognized. The 10 members under the leaders are all called "rules." The rules are ranked from 1st to 10th(1st being the one with either the most power or influence and 10th being the one with the least.)

Six Governing Spirits - The 6 house members that reside within Delano's house. They've never interacted with any of those outside of the Arcana and they've never showed their faces to anyone, yet they're said to be quite formidible in both battle and intelligence.

Persona: Delano has yet to so his true self to anyone. However, from what is known he seems to be a very commanding and manipulative. Why he acts this way is not yet known.

History: Delano is the leader of the Arcana. He also seemed to be very skilled in kidou, possessing the ability to make zanpakutou spirits.

Ability -

[Passive] - Karasu's blade is covered in a violet flame that wafts silently. When the flame strikes anything made of spiritons, it slowly eats away at that thing by breaking down its structure.

[Active] Delano can cause dark violet bubbles to explode from Karasu. When they explode they appear as perfect spheres, staying and their activated locations for up to 5 seconds. The explosions have the same breaking down effect as the flame, however they also cause good deal of damage. By chanting "Split!" and cutting through the bubble, Delano can also cause a chain reaction explosion. The explosion is much weaker, but it has a larger blast radius than the bubble.

History: Not much is known about Liseli. Thought she says that her family was killed by the Black Scorpions. Whether this is true or not is unknown, because she has the scars on her body to prove it. She says she is a bounty hunter of sorts, whether that is true or not is unknown. She is still quite an Enigma.

Liseli actually seems to be Delano's right-hand man(woman). She also is very skilled in the use of kidou and knows many strange spells.

Appearance: Troy is an man of average height and seemingly American descent. He stands at about 5'9" has blue hair and brownish orange eyes. He's always dressed and made up in a proper manner and it is rare to ever see him disheveled even when flustered. He wears his Arcana cloak proudly at all times and rarely leaves the Arcana fortress.

Persona: Very serious about everything, Troy does not take jokes very well. He speaks to everyone with respect and in such believes he should be spoken to with respect. While he can be easy to fluster, he rarely loses his cool. He would rather insult someone mentally than try to hurt them physically.

History: A member of the Arcana since his birth, Troy was born to one of the ten governors. However, since they all dress the same, it is hard to tell which. Brought up very formally, Troy has been that way all his life. However, that has also made him somewhat withdrawn towards his parent. Troy has a very strong bond to Liseli, being that she has been the only person to ever address him in a casual nature. He has even professed his love for her quite a few times, but she simply ignored him. So, if he could not be with her, Troy promised that he would always be close to her.

Appearance: Darth is a tall man with dark brown hair and piercing red eyes. He stands at about 6'0" . He looks to be slightly Asian, but because of his rough features it is a little hard to tell at times. Known to care little about his appearance, Darth wears whatever he wants at the time, no matter how informal they may be.

Persona: Stubborn and hardheaded, Darth is not known to listen to many people. The only people that the man ever seems to show any respect to are those who are stronger than him. Though he seems like a troublemaker, Darth will follow orders when it makes sense to. It's seemly that his opinionated attitude makes it so the man can't stop from giving his own views on a situation...even when it's unwelcome. However, even with his flaws, his men are fiercely loyal to him...meaning he must be doing something right.

History: Once an average grunt in the Gotei, Darth followed along side Amakaze when he left. Though he may seems to give the man a bad attitude, Darth has a great respect for Amakaze, which he shows by not giving the man too much lip. Though hard to work with at times, Delano saw the potential in Darth. As such, he was the one who inspired the man to captain the Fire house and another who earned his respect.

Shikai: Blast out and melt away, Iousen

Description: Iousen is a wide-edged broadsword with a heavy edge. Though it looks unwieldy, and it is to the average person, Darth can wield it with ease. When transformed, the sword edge becomes a bright red and starts to blur from the heat and a noxious gas is released. The hilt becomes tracked with smooth stone and the weight of the sword almost doubles.

Ability: When Iousen is slashed through the air a wave of super-heated air is released, the air can irritate skin on contact but is otherwise harmless. The true power of Iousen comes from when it is activated. When the ability of Iousen is set, the entire vapor that has been left standing in the air will ignite and explode. While this does nothing to Darth it will harm anyone and anything that is caught within the vapor trail. Iousen can also explode on contact if needed, but if that ability is used, it will take about 30 seconds for Iousen to recharge.

Persona: Angeni is a very strange character; she is very kind and had a very nice sense of humor. However, she finds great enjoyment in battle, which is strange since she doesn't look like much a fighter. She is almost always smiling, talking in a tone that makes it hard to tell when she is being serious or not. She goes only by the name Kilaya, finding only going by one name "cool." However as of late, she's chosen to go by her given name, Angeni Brand.

Appearance: Angeni has strange green hair, her eyes matching. She is about 4'8" and 85 lbs. She always wears her hair flipped, to match her cheery attitude. Having a vibrant sense of style, Angeni's wardrobe varies widely so she had no usual outfit.

History: Angeni was born in SS to a family of wealthy nobles. Since she was born a while after the Great Hollow war, she was raised during a civil war. She was once very happy and cheery during her childhood, however because of the murder of her family by a plot of her deceptive butler she became very closed off. The only person she trusts now is Cris, and she mainly fights because for revenge and to keep what she has gained. She is known to be a lot more serious after she accepted this and her personality isn't nearly as manic.

She is one of the chosen as such her power of manipulation with the Arcana's seals are very high.

Zanpakutou: Desu boorubakudan

Release phrase: Burst out, boorubakudan

Normal: In its normal form, Desu looks much more like a spiked rod with a hilt more than anything.

Shikai Desu becomes a spiked mace in this form, connected to the hilt's hand guard with an invisible chain of spiritual energy. Excluding its owner, Desu will explode on impact with anything it hits. The fire caused from this can be so strong that it can leave lava pits in its wake.

Kyuuzou

When activated, Angeni's zanpakutou explodes in a giant fiery cyclone. The cyclone completely engulfs the woman and anything in her nearby surroundings. When she is released from the transformation, a fiery red robe covers her from neck to toe, the robe dancing lightly like a flame. Small Will o' Wisp type flames float around the woman at all times.

The wisps are controlled by Angeni's thoughts, and when they are sent out, they explode violently against anything they contact with. Angeni herself is immune to the explosions; however, they can be devastating to all others.

As a desperation attacking, Angeni can combine all the wisps into a giant sphere. The sphere will cause a massive explosion on contact...leveling pretty much everything within the woman's general area.


"Chosen" ability: Unknown for the most part. Except She become a red skinned demonesqe figure, with small horns protruding out of her head. In this form she gains regenerative powers, and upped spiritual pressure.

Appearance: Amakaze is an short man of seemingly asian, standing at about 4'10". He had navy blue hair and light blue eyes,which contrast each other greatly. He rarely ever cuts his hair, preferring to let it grow long. Because of this, the hair on his head and the hair on his face are both about one feet long. He usually is seen wearing robes of some kind, usually made of a fine material like silk, which sometimes makes his underlings wonder why he never gets them dirty in battle.

Persona: Because of his very restrained and wise personality, it isn't unusual for people to call Amakaze "old man." He doesn't mind much, actually he doesn't mind too many things. He is usually very understanding and will only become angry in very frustrating situations. Because of this, he is very trusted by his men and is known to have a very loyal faction.

History: Not much is known about Amakaze. It is said as he used to be a very powerful shinigami that worked with the Gotei and was loyal to the Gotei. It was even said that he fought against past Arcana groups in the past, which is strange since he joined the group of his own free will.

Though all rumors, many people say that Amakaze joined the Arcana because of a falling out with the Gotei. One that became so serious that Amakaze's life would be ruined because of it.

Zanpakutou: Boufuukyuuka(Summer Gale)

Normal Form: In its normal form, Boufuukyuuka is a 5ft long red battlestaff. It has golden tips on both sides and a design of a black wind flowing through its entirety.

Persona: Cris is your usual brawler type -- big, rash, and quick to fight. However, he is actually very intelligent, something most people do not notice due to his appearance and personality though. Cris fights mainly to achieve his goals, though he says it is only for fun. He carries a small wooden charm, marking on it every time he defeats an opponent. He believes the more people he defeats, the greater his luck. He currently has fifty-nine marks on his charm.

Appearance: Red hair, brown eyes. He is about 6'5" and weighs in at about 277 pounds(though a good amount is muscle. His jaw is heavy and a little flat, and he always has a somewhat stoic expression on his face.

History: Cris was what one could consider a bully, especially in his rookie days. He would pick on any of his classmates he considered weak, challenging them to battle. One day he came across Kellan, believing he fit the bill he chose to pick on him. Kellan brushed him off; telling him anyone who could not look pass simple appearances would forever be weak. Annoyed by this, he pestered Kellan to a fight for weeks - Kellan ignoring him. After a few months, Kellan tired of Cris's constant begging, so he finally agreed to his challenge. Cris fought hard and bravely, but he was unable to match Kellan, being quickly defeated. He then vowed from that day on to succeed Kellan.

Cris was later revealed to have come from a poor family. His parents later massacred and leaving him hungry for revenge. Upon suggestion by a rogue shinigami, he joined the Gotei to become stronger. Learning all he could from the academy, he left alone with his lifetime friend, Angeni. They then infiltrated the Black Scorpions because of the wishes of their true group, the Arcana. Cris also has a very high sense of honor and was only really known to bully because he felt guilt for his own weakness. He was always ashamed that he couldn't save his family and saw that same weakness reflected in the eyes of all those he beat up. After accepting this, Cris has become much more stable and has a greater respect for others.

Zanpakutou: Banryoku

Release Phrase: Squall, Banryoku

Normal form: Banryoku is a giant, iron paddle broadsword. It is about a 1 meter and a half in length. It has many strange symbols carved in on the sides.

Shikai Banryoku keeps its basic form. Called "The Bully" by his(Cris's) peers, Banryoku can force out large amounts of wind when swung. At close range, Banryoku can even lift its opponent off the ground.

Ability: Sonicrang

Cris can swing Banryoku like a boomerang, the winds around the large weapon pushing away anything in its way. The weight of the weapon along with the speed and power of the winds can break things in half...living or not.

Bankai Assai Banryoku

When activated, Banryoku nearly doubles in size. The sword no longer looks wieldy to then normal person, however it is constantly covered in a wind swirl that is used to propel its weight. Cris himself is covered in a heavy green knight's armor, one that bears a stylized symbol of a large blade slipping through the earth. Though the armor is also heavy, because of the wind blowing around him, it is nearly weightless to Cris.

In this form, Banryoku's powers increase exponentially. While in shikai, the sword could create strong gusts with each swing, the sword can now create mini-tornadoes with every strike. The sword can even make power geyser like shots for propelling something at high speed.

[Power Cancel] -- One of Banryoku's special attacks. The sword can absorb an energy attack and wrap it around its furious winds. While the attack is caught, the sword will glow a furious green. When released, the sword will then send the attack back double. However, this attack will fail if used too many times or if its used against too strong an opponent.


"Chosen" ability: Same as Angeni's except his horns are longer and point toward the back of his head.

Appearance: Venia is an average-sized Caucasian woman in both form and height. She was born of European descent while on earth, however she has long lost her accent. Venia sports long blonde hair and deep sea blue eyes, because of which she is said to be very beautiful. She's about 5'7" and weights only a little over 100 pounds. Since she is usually working, her natural attire is a work coat of some kind. However, on her off days she usually dresses very modestly.

Persona: Very personable, it is quite easy for Venia to get along with others. Her high popularity within the Arcana proofs this. She is very intelligent and has a caring sense about her, however at times she tends to be a little condensing. Though, that is usually out of worry for her comrades.

History: No one really knows why Venia joined the Arcana, no one except its leader. Actually, that is quite a mystery to most of the others. They always wonder how someone as kind as this woman could be involved in such things.

Zanpakutou: Naissance(Birth)

Release/Appearance -- Form, Naissance

When released Naissance changes from a sword to one giant sphere. The sphere is about the size of an average human, however is know to reshape at times. The sphere is also someone transparent, and can be hard to see at times.

Ability: When used, Naissance has to ability to engulf Venia's target inside of itself. While inside the orb, movement is restricted, making it difficult to escape. While Naissance has its enemies trapped, the orb has many small tendrils that dig into the flesh of its captured victim. The strings do not hurt, however they are not meant to be dangerous.

Rather, the strings are used to collect information on the target and sent them directly to the user. This information is detailed from brain and organ structure, power levels, brain activity and many other things. Giving Venia quite the advantage.

This isn't the orbs only ability however. While the victim is in the orb, Naissance slowly pumps a mild sedative into them. The sedative reduces their mobility and keeps them from struggling too much. Naissance then have the heal or drain the spiritual energy of it's victim par Venia's wishes.

Bankai: "Name Unknown"

Ability: Though its full powers are still unknown, Naissance's bankai seems to allow Venia to use the data she collects from others in shikai and "copy" it onto herself. This does not only mean that she copies the physical traits or her victim, it also means that she is given the memories of her victim. It is so precise that if one was to put Venia and her copy together, it would be almost impossible to tell. However, it seems to have time limit to how long it stays active.

Persona: Enkil is a loyal member of Arcana and subordinate of Delano. He's an individual that always talks with a cheerful attitude regardless of the situation. Its said that he loves to 'build and destroy' but what this refers to is still a mystery.

Description: Not much is known of his description except that he's always seen smiling.

History: Much of Enkil's past is still unknown other than the fact that he's kill numerous shinigami over the years. It seems that he thinks of it as a good way to pass time. He's appears to be able to use strange and mysterious kidou. He doesn't seem to like being out in the limelight, preferring to faithfully serve his mistress...he is known to be fiercely loyal to Venia...once killing an acolyte who did nothing more than forgot to bow to the woman when she was walking by.

Zanpakutou:In its sealed form the zanpakutou is 2 feet long with a 9' handle. The color of the handle is black with gray diamond shaped designs going up and down the sides of the handle.

Manifestation: Enkil's zanpakutou, Hagane, manifests itself as a large T-Rex whose skin look to be made of some metal.

Shi kai:phrase used to unseal "Roar! Hagane"-The sword doesn't change shape but begins to glow with a blue aura.

Ability: Enkil's uses Hagane and swings his sword. The blue aura surrounding the zanpakutou dissipates and a comet-like wave is sent out that errodes anything that it touches. It takes around 30 seconds for the aura to reappear so he can use the ability again.

Appearance: 5'5", Average Built, Dark Skin, Yellow eyes, Black Hair. Looks to weight about 112 lbs, though may be more because of her muscle. Because of her occupation, she always wears form-fitting clothing that won't snag in a bind. Very sporty, her form shows that.

Persona: A fun-loving and somewhat violent person, she sometimes mixes the two up(which is a good reason her underlings stay away from her.) However, even with her sometimes scary attitude, she is a good fighter and a good leader and demands respect whether she goes. She is a straightforward person at times, and as such does not takes things like killing and the likes too seriously. However, when she's not on the job, she likes to joke around just as much as the next person. Though, no one ever really finds her twisted sense of humor all that amusing.

Zanpakutou: "Death Goddess, Acita"

Manifestation/Looks: Unknown/A slender blade about 2/3ths the size of a normal zanpakutou. It's hilt is curved to allow easy manipulation. Though, it is said to have other abilities, but thsoe are unknown.

Shikai Ability: When Acita slashes through or breaks the skin of a target. A small toxin is released into the target. The target eats away at and destorys all nearby cells. It also keeps that part of the body from healing properly and lowers the reaction time in the remaining cells.

Bankai:

"Chosen" Ability: ??? - Mysia's eyes grow it a light tint and her spiritual energy starts to rise. When in this mode, she becomes a bit stronger. Though, no other changes are seen.

??? - Mysia's skin becomes a dark red hue and the marks around her body start to resonate all at once. While in this form, Mysia gains the ability to move at lightning fast speeds. However, this doesn't last long and her body starts to break down fairly quickly afterwards.
