.:: Appearance ::.​

With an average height of 5'6", Nevada isn't all that extraordinary in appearance. Even her sister, Ren, has a few scars and abnormalities in her appearance. Blonde hair usually brushed straight flows down her back and stops at her waist. Emerald orbs swim in a sea of white, set on her soft-skinned face. While far more in touch with modern society than her sister, she does avoid make-up and many of the current fashions and ideals on how women are supposed to look. She wears a red ribbon around her left bicep usually, just like her sister. Nevada weighs roughly 140lbs soaking wet, showing that she lacks any visible muscle or really any fat. However, despite being rather scrawny, Nevada makes up for it by hiding in baggy clothing usually, such as the standard shihakushou. Her kosode is black with the Eighth division insignia etched on the left shoulder and back. Her sash is golden with an emerald lace around it's hem, and usually keeps her zanpakutou in place. Her hakama is a skirt that comes roughly to her knees, though she sometimes wears a baggy pair of hakama pants instead. No matter the weather, she wears no shoes or socks, even in the blistering cold or roughest of terrain. .:: Personality ::.​ As radiant as the sun itself, Nevada comes off as childish despite her age (both spiritual and physical) because of her hyperactive disposition. She is quick to speak first and ask questions if she has them, and tends to be friendly towards most she meets. She extends a friendly hand towards anyone she has a 'good vibe' about and seems to radiate warmth like a sun, though she says it's simply her 'spiritual power or some shit like that.' She is more cultured than Ren when modern society comes into play, as she has enjoyed plenty of trips to Earth in the past half-century. This is obvious in her clothing, but also in her manner of speaking compared to many of her associates. Nevada's zanpakutou beginning to speak to her was a brief wake-up to the fact that she acted too childish and had to mature in order to be taken seriously and to even release her zanpakutou to begin with. Because of this, Nevada began to choose her words carefully and relax, taking after her sister in several other ways. With the disappearance of her sister, her darker side came out and she seemed to become a different person, constantly in a rut where she stewed in her own sorrow and disappointments. Thoughts of the death of Ole Bishoff, her captain seeming awol and her lover, Udo, seeming to be too busy to be with her constantly came up on top of the kidnapping, leaving her as a husk of her sunny self. .:: Neat facts ::.​ .:: Nevada has the appearance of someone roughly 19 years of age, but her true age is calculated to have her in her 60's. .:: Her cause of death is speculated to be blunt trauma to the back of her skull. .:: She may possibly have amnesia, as she has no recollection of her life prior to three months before joining the Gotei. .:: She has a love of being outdoors and stays in the loop with pop culture more than anything else. .:: She has an allergy to coconuts and peanuts.

.:: Human life ::.

In her human life, Nevada was nothing but an interesting child. She was raised in a fine time for America, with the end of World War II marking a great period for America and the world as a whole. Born in 1952, the blonde woman would spend her childhood by meeting daily with coloured children her age, the first people who would make friends with. This would continue throughout her school years, even in high school when she was finally allowed to be in the same classroom with a coloured person. A time she enjoyed indeed. Leading into the start of college, Nevada's life was going well for her. She had her goals straight, plenty of friends, good grades and a pretty content family, despite her having strange friendships (befriending anyone despite of sexuality, race and such). She would've continued living her life had she not been dragged into the park near her college and beaten to death. Her assailant remained unknown to her, even in her spiritual life, though her marks remained.

.:: Spiritual life ::.

With spiritual power that could've been felt within a week of her stepping in Rukongai, Nevada was quick to be picked up by wandering shinigami. She was enrolled in the Spiritual Academy, where she specialized in swordplay and kidou surprisingly. After her 8 year schooling, she was enlisted in the Eighth Division under the captaincy of Kago. However, she quickly learned how 'active' her captain was and was forced to learn what she could on her own and take the personal initiative to speak with her captain and superiors. Within one month of her time as a spellswordstress, Nevada began her training for Kenkyouka under the tutelage of the Sixth Seat, Udo Tabawara. She excelled in the art and was quick to begin using it when she needed to or in spars. During her time in the Eighth, Nevada began to fall in love with her lovely teacher, going so far as to attend the Shinigami Women's Association's New Years party with Udo as her date. The same day, prior to the celebration, she admitted her love to Udo with confidence. The two shared a final dance together as fellow Spellblades that night as Udo was departing to the Ninth Division. Nevada would also make friends with Reshin Izukawa, Hikaru Miyazaki and the late Ole Bishoff, swearing vengeance on the hollow that murdered him. Nevada would later discover her zanpakutou's voice and slowly learn how to temper her personality in order to release it. Upon maturing, the spellswordstress began to learn her zanpakutou's name. In the view of Ren and Reshin, she released her zanpakutou for the first time and began to harness it's heat-based powers. Afterwards, Nevada went into personal training with her zanpakutou, becoming stronger and more in tuned with her zanpakutou. However, during her training, Ren was kidnapped, leading her to Adele in a desperate plea for help.

.:: Taiyou no Ban'nin ::. .:: Keeper of the Sun ::.​ When Taiyou no Ban'nin is released, a glorious bright light envelops Nevada, originating from her zanpakutou blade. Over the course of three seconds, her katana splits into two circular blades resembling feng huo lun. These feng huo lun are made of a beautiful material resembling steel, yet it seems to hold the sunlight like glass at times. There is an indent in the blade centers where a diamond jewel can be seen, acting as a focus point for her abilities. The spirit of Taiyou no Ban'nin takes the form of an beautiful woman clad in flowing white and yellow robes. Her silver hair flows in soft curls and descends down her back to her waist. The zanpakutou’s weapon form is typically held to her sides in dual forms, to show Nevada’s own chakram and Taiyō no ban'nin’s form. A brilliant aura of golden rays surrounds the woman and usually her blue eyes create life whenever she looks on the ground of her inner world, often creating fields of flowers and vibrant life around the two beings. When she speaks, she speaks with carefully chosen words and a sense of demand. She is composed usually, only breaking such composure when Nevada irritates her beyond her threshold. She is quick to make Nevada a better person, evident when she refused to give Nevada her name until she matured. Taiyō no ban'nin’s inner world is a place known as Nikkō no Kyūden, or The Sunlight Palace. An impressive and beautiful palace sits in a beautiful meadow that shines with various colours of gold, emerald and sky blue. Within the palace is a myriad of rooms and studies filled with books and various other items and things both Taiyō no ban'nin and Nevada are interested in. .:: Taiyou no Moeru Ken - Burning Blade of the Sun ::.​ By mixing 5% of her reiatsu with particles of light and binding them to her chakrams, Nevada is capable of creating an extension to her zanpakutou. The light particles form a blade of golden light that extends to 2 feet from both chakram blades. This light burns incredibly easy and holds the violent potential to cut through things that are not physically capable of being cut. This ability grants Nevada the ability to cut through attacks up to the cost paid to activate this ability. Doing so subtracts the cost of the ability from the reiatsu stored in the blade. These blades last as long as they contain reiatsu and require a single turn between activation. .:: Kanetsu Taiyou no Houyo - Heated Embrace of the Sun ::.​ Like the sunlight she embodies and the warm spirit of her owner, Taiyō no ban'nin can produce a warm feeling to those she touches. However, this warm feeling manifests itself outside of emotions and into physical warmness. Burning hot fiery death actually. By paying 1% of her reiatsu and paying a 3% upkeep per turn, Nevada’s chakram is covered burning hot reiatsu that is reminiscent of lava. Every time her chakrams make contact with an object, she super-heats it and can even burn things without reiatsu with just one slight touch. Objects with spiritual power such as zanpakutou don’t get super-heated as badly, nor will people, though it will cause a sensation similar to being burned by a blowtorch. .:: Taiyou Juu - Sun Gun ::.​ By gathering heat from the sun and light particles and bathing them in her reiatsu, Nevada can gather these energies around the diamond shaped ornament at the tip of her chakrams. By spending 5% of her reiatsu, the energies are repelled violently from the diamond in a single ray of light. The light is incredibly hot due to the heat absorbed from the sun, capable of melting or burning things in its path. It travels a total of 20 meters in a single direction, with a width and height of 5 feet. The damage dealt is the amount paid, 5% of Nevada’s reiatsu.

.:: Kaikoroku - Reminiscence :.​ A small colorful pendant manufactured by the Ninth Division. The jewel possesses an ability to capture the essence of a shinigami's inner world and preserve it in their realm. This gem can be worn as a necklace, earring, bracelet, ring, or even an anklet. By paying 300 reiatsu per activation, a member of the Eighth Division can recall their zanpakutou back into their hand as long as it is within a 20 meter (64ft) range. This pendant does not work on other zanpakutou other than their own, nor will it work for someone that has relieved the Sword-mage of their pendant. This ability is limited to only three uses per battle.
