But in all seriousness, yessss. I've been waiting for this. I love the authentic awkwardness that Dante and Aeria feel around each other, deflecting their feelings with humour or small talk or plainly just talking fast so that there's no time for the mood to sink in... until it does. The first kiss was lovely, if only a little short-lived.
My primary criticism for this collab is the length. I know it's like 1300, but there were so many opportunities to stretch this out. With a handful of awkward silences, there could have been some brief internal monologues, butterflies in the stomach, desperately evading each other's gaze, the slow carress of Dante's hands on Aeria's shoulders. It felt like the massage was over right after it began.
Despite that though, it was very sweet and lovely to read. And about time!
