Post Terminus 1.1.6 Patch Notes: Paychecks and Feats (More Feats)
In brief: To liven the economy and encourage activity, players will start receiving exa paychecks each week they have posted. To add a little more personalization to characters, we are also expanding the number of feats available.
New: Paychecks
All players are assigned a 'Pay Grade' based on their character's esteem and the level of their highest crafting skills. If a player has two characters, the greater of the two will be chosen. Their qualifications do not get combined together. The highest pay grade is 6.
This paycheck is representative of how much exa characters are expected to earn through casual work. Characters with professions (crafting skills) have an advantage and earn more. However, although craftsmen can increase their pay grade earlier, all characters can reach Pay Grade 6.
In order to receive your weekly paycheck, you must post on the forum during the week. This includes posting chapters, adding turns to open collabs, or simply updating your stats in the Personnel Records thread. Pay is received at the start of the next writing week, on Sunday.
Pay Grade 1 = 100 Exa Weekly (5,200 Exa Annually)
Pay Grade 2 = 200 Exa Weekly (10,400 Exa Annually)
Pay Grade 3 = 400 Exa Weekly (20,800 Exa Annually)
Pay Grade 4 = 600 Exa Weekly (31,200 Exa Annually)
Pay Grade 5 = 800 Exa Weekly (41,600 Exa Annually)
Pay Grade 6 = 1000 Exa Weekly (52,000 Exa Annually)

Players begin as Pay Grade 1. Your pay grade increases as your esteem rises or as you sharpen your crafting skills. Note: Pay Grade does not limit or increase your rewards from Bounties or Missions. This payout is separate from other means of earning exa.

New: Personal Feats
Personal Feats are abilities or traits that have been acquired throughout a person's life. This can be a technique passed down in the character's family, unique traits resulting from events in the character's past, natural talent in a particular area, or other things that represent the character's life. It is not required to write the acquisition of a personal feat, though it is encouraged. A personal feat should be simple to understand, and may include drawbacks for the character.
Acquisition: A character in Post Terminus begins with a single Personal Feat to be submitted to staff. Personal Feats can only be changed under limited circumstances at the discretion of Feat Staff.
