======================================================
First Name: Rei (零)
Last Name: Jiiro (地色)
Age: Appears to be in early 20's. Remembers being in Soul Society for roughly 500 years.
Race: Rogue
Sex: Male
Hand: Right-Handed
Persona:
An existence of dualities. Aloof and sorta cold when meeting new people. But once you get beyond that, he's a fairly decent guy. Still has problems establishing connections with others, but when formed will defend them to the best of his ability. Has a cynical sense of humor that sometimes takes the jokes beyond what was intended, giving an appearance of being a jerk to those who don't know him. He usually maintains tight control over his emotions, often until he's pushed too far. More often than not, this comes from others letting fear take hold. Hates being a faceless image in the crowd, so often messes with his hair and contacts to try and stand apart. Seems unmotivated to a casual observer, but if he believes in a cause he will give 110%
Phys Stature:
6'1" 180lbs. Blue Hair with Gray Eyes thanks to the Post Tenebaum Lux ritual for obtaining his Avis. Hair is medium length and spiky. Has a scar on his right shoulder going down to the abdomen, just missing his neck. Now outside of the Gotei's jurisdiction, can still be seen taking to wearing the shinigami uniform with a blue haori cut into the fit of a vest.

Has taken to wearing grey wristguards. Much like the ones Byakuya wears, except for the obvious difference in color.

[Rare]Binsoku no Sune-ate (Shin-Guards of Agility)
By directing Spiritual Energy directly into the guards, the users legs feel lighter. Allowing them to go faster than they could normally achieve. Said to be able to increase a person's speed by 10% under normal conditions. But when in Shi Kai the additional energy output allows for a greater boost in speed (rumoured at 20%), but the energy drain is also doubled..
[2nd]Kageori: Uniform of the Second Division
"Shadow Weave" A methodically designed uniform made especially for the 2nd Division. Its overall appearance differs from that of a standard Shinigami uniform. The fabric, a special shadow weave, has the characteristic of subtly appearing even darker than the standard black uniform. The Kageori's unique composition affords its wearer with added protection against the elements, and having been traditionally dyed with indigo, it prevents any cuts and wounds from becoming infected. Within both of the gi's breast interiors are a number of cleverly hidden, yet sturdy pockets positioned for easy access. Also within the sleeves are a number of additional pockets, as well as cords and special embroidery from which certain items may be attached upon for ease of usage. Black socks are included with the uniform, allowing for the wearer's feet to easily blend in with the hakama's jet-black coverage.
The Kageori increases the wearer's number of item slots by two (Item Slot #4 and #5). If a disposable, stackable item (ie., pills, throwing knives, wires, etc.) is equipped within one of two of those slots, the maximum quantity of the stacked item increases by +20% rounded to the nearest whole number (ie., five pills become six pills, twenty needles become twenty-four).

[K]Suisei
These devices are so indicative of a Kidoushuu's station that they are commonly referred to as such on the same level of Zanpakutou to Shinigami in general. Constructed by hand ever since their inception by the Kidoushuu's 2nd generation, the Suisei are known to be indispensable to any common Kidoushuu operation by providing tactical support and targeting assistance.
The schematics for the Suisei are as follows:
- *For every point of SP a target may have, the Suisei user must apportion an equal amount of SP as well as at least 25% of the value in terms of Kidou to gain a glimpse of the target's structural weaknesses; areas where the spiritrons are least dense and therefore more vulnerable to concentrated attack, such as those found in Kidou. For example: Hollow has 4000 SP, to obtain information on areas to target and score a direct critical hit, the Suisei user must have at least 4000 SP and must use up 1000 Kidou to run a proper diagnostic on the target. After words, the amount of Kidou used burns off in a "feedback" that damages the SP total of the Suisei user; in this case the user will now only have 3000 SP.
- *If the target's SP exceeds the user's own, a scan may still be performed, however, in addition to the Kidou feedback penalty, the difference between the two totals will be set aside as a cool-down total which acts as follows: Hollow has 4000 SP and the Suisei only has 2000, the scan will act as if the uer's total was equal to the target's and go through. However, the user may not recover SP using any method before exhausting half the difference first. So if the user has his/her SP reduced to 1500, he/she will not be able to increase from 1500 before he/she first does away with half the SP difference (which was 2000, so 1000 total). In short, to increase 1500 back to 1501 SP, a total of 1001 must be attained.
- *The backlash of Kidou feedback was somehow removed for the models given to the inaugural members of the 11th generation of Kidoushuu by Ohara Aya. However, each subsequent model of Suisei to be constructed yield a penalty in which not only is Kidou spent to engage the targeting system, but double that same amount is also subtracted from the user's current SP. Ohara left no plans behind to remedy this situation when the Sanbagarasu were confirmed annihilated by Fukushu raiders in Seireitei.
Currently, the Zanma model of Suisei is constructed using particular blueprints left behind in the Central 46 record and can only be accessed by those accepted into the Kidoushuu. A generic chapter must be written detailing attempts to piece one together and test it during field assignments before the user can add it into his/her regular inventory. There is no set standard on how to write the construction other than the prime materials needed to start are encapsulated orbs of powdered Bloodstone and core electronics easily obtained from either the 8th Division or Central Spirit Academy stores.
Zanpakuto: Kagami.
In its sealed state, its a slightly shorter Zanpakuto, except its hilt-guard is diamond shaped.
Manifestation:
Shi Kai Command: Kaerimiru Kagami.
Shi Kai Form: Becomes a Diamond double-bladed sword
Kagami
Since the blades are almost entirely see-through, it merely looks like the user is only holding a hilt. Thereby making it incredibly difficult to track and counter visually

Abilities:
Ability 1: Passive Defensive Ability: Kongoutateza (Diamond Shield)
Doesn't completely block/reflect offensive techniques/spells. (number is open for debate.) Depending on the energy put into the shield, can nullify the rest of the attack. Starts off only able to effectively block spiritual attacks, but as strength increases it will become able to block physical attacks as well.
Enemy to Rei's SP Ratio: Percentage of Damage Nullified
(This is the Consciously Controlled Ratio, The Numbers are halved unless actively controlled by Rei.)
50% Rei's SP: 80% - 100% Damage Nullified
100% Rei's SP: 40% - 50% Damage Nullified
150% Rei's SP: 20% - 25% Damage Nullified
Ability 2: Amorphous Blades:
Due to the nature of Kagami's power, Rei now has control of the malleability of the weapon. Giving control over the shape and form of Kagami. The blades can be shaped by Rei merely fixing the image of what weapon he wants in his mind.

Kagami no Zen Hansha (Total Reflection of the mirror):
Creates a dome of reflective diamond around both fighters. Size is a approx. 70 yards diameter in appearance on the outside, but on the inside a pocket dimension is created where distance does not follow normal conventions.
In the dome, not only are the dimensions enlarged, but giant diamond shards spring up randomly to create a natural "house of mirrors". The dome and shards reflect all external senses. The main thing the user controls at this level is that the opponents image is never reflected. Meaning the opponent can't watch their own reflection to gauge where the user is.
Also... trying to use vision, sound, or spiritual pressure to try and track the user would be futile as everything in the dome is constantly reflected. Leaving the opponent fighting ghosts and echoes.

Seikyouzou: Kagami no Zenhansha {True reflected image}
From the diamond stalagmites, Rei creates duplicates of himself from the his reflections to aid him in battle. While they do not possess Rei's full strength, they are still strong enough to be a threat to a careless enemy. Making their main purpose in misdirection and distraction.
Rei can create another additional clone for every 10k Connection he has. Whereas every Clone has approximately 3/5 of Rei's battle stats.

Kagami no Saigo no Hansha {Final reflection of the mirror}
Abandoning all defensive aspects of the ban kai thus far, the dome is commanded to shatter. The resulting countless number of shards then implode, closing in and attacking the target in a sweeping wave of concentrated shards. The attack is brief, but still carrying with it all the force of an avalanche threatening to sweep away those Rei has determined to defeat with his highest skill.
After the tidal wave of Rei's attack passes by the enemy, assuming they've survived an attack of such magnitude, the crystals swarm back to Rei, reforming themselves into kagami's original form of unheard of density. The sword does nothing for Rei's speed or skills, but the sheer destructive power carried in the blade is enough to be feared by anyone facing him.

Form:
Form:
Upon activation of the ban kai, five diamond spires materialize in the air surrounding both Rei and his enemies. The shards are roughly 5 feet long and 3 feet thick. Although they are translucent, they carry the subtle hint of an ambient color in them.
The strength and concentration of reishi in each crystal makes it extremely durable and resilient in the face of attacks. If they are destroyed however, the shards will reform themselves regardless of Rei's will.
Ability:
For every one of Rei's turns after he activates the ban kai, one of the crystals will activate and begin to give off a feint light. The crystals then begin to act as a focus point, emanating a frequency that makes it impossible for Rei's enemies to feel the corresponding sensory stimulation. When the kai is in its initial stages of growth, the sensory crystal activated is random and outside of Rei's control. Every step of mastery that Rei attains of the ban kai will reward him with the ability to choose one of the senses to actively choose to block out.
Until Rei's mastery of the ban kai reaches 50%, he can only maintain the activation of a single crystal at a time. After 50%, for every 10% of mastery, Rei can hold and maintain the activation of another crystal. The crystal activated is determined a 5 sided dice roll. (//roll-dice1-sides5)
1.Touch {Red}
2.Sight {Blue}
3.Taste/Smell {Yellow}
4.Spirit Sense {Green}
5.Hearing {Orange}
Attack 1:
Suffusing his reiatsu into the area inside the five crystals, it materializes and takes the form of hundreds of multifaceted crystals. These crystals are either suspended in the air, or immersed into the earth , littering the area with the objects. Made from Rei's ban kai reiatsu, they act much in the way of mines. Either detonating by a proximity trigger, or mental command from Rei to detonate all at once. The attack drains 5% of Rei's reiatsu for every usage, up to a maximum of five attacks.

Biography:
Not much is recorded of Rei before he joined the Shinigami, as he shows reluctance to speak of his past. He was a Rukongai citizen that helped during the Hollow wars. Was severly wounded during the same attack that killed his comrade-in-arms. Joined the academy in year 2 P.N. due to hunger pains. Met the Yamada siblings in his first month of classes. Eventually became friends with Kori, resulting in a friendly rivalry with Haikyousha. Began progressing fairly quickly in all areas except for Kidou. Seemed to have difficulty with the concepts of using spirit energy outside of the body. Among the first graduating class of Shinigami. Under normal circumstances would be considered exceptional, but this years class is anything but normal.
In real life, was attacked and severely wounded by a hollow. Luckily a shinigami arrived on the scene and managed to stave off the attack. Unfortunately was too late to save Rei, so the processing was done to send him to SS right away. After being incarnated in the lower slums, Rei did what was necessary to survive. Mainly killing others that tried to attack him. Fortunately/Unfortunately did not develop spirit powers until the hollow wars. During the hollow wars, ended up in the same resistance unit as the man who had sent him to SS. But after a long time of constant attacks and ambushes, Mugendai began showing signs of fatigue and shellshock. Due to his deteriorating condition, Mugendai began to lose focus at times as well as the ability to take immediate notice of his surroundings.
After a particularly intense battle when Rei tried to tell Mugendai that the fight was over, Mugendai rounded on Rei with a vicious attack. Only Rei's quick reflexes managed to save him from having his head cleaved. Before he lost consciousness, the last thing he saw was Mugen standing over him with a bloody sword. When Rei came to, it turned out that he was discovered by medics who managed to save his life. When he asked about Mugen, it was already too late, as Mugen was believed to have been killed by hollows. After he recovered and the war was over, began wandering blindly. Over the course of the wanderings, his mind began to block out the earlier incidents.
Unperturbed by this, Rei soon found himself in the Gotei serving in the still leaderless 2nd Division. After a rather interesting first month of meeting the other new shinigami and fight hollows, Rei found himself serving with Kyin, Ryuichi, and Kenzo as part of the escort for Onmitsu Kidou to investigate a mysterious Garganta that had opened in outer Rukongai. He and Ryuichi would find a mysterious survivor and return him to Seireitei, only to lose track of him to the Onmitsu Kidou's order of silence. It would later be revealed that the unknown man was none other than Sosugo, Future Leader of the Keigun, Traitor, and host for Emptybones.
Some time after that mission, Rei would invited into the ranks of the Shinzui. For which his friends decided that some celebration was in order. This night of senseless drinking and muddled thought would lead him to a chance encounter that would shape a large part of Rei's future, it was here that Rei would meet Inazuma Shizuka, setting the foundations for their rocky 'relationship'.
Rei would continue his service to the Gotei, surviving an attack by the Red Moon at the very heart of Seireitei, going so far as to halt an attempt to open a rift intending to usher in a force of Menos Grande. He would later find himself defending Rukongai during the Gotei's counter-attack on the home base of the Red Moon along with Shizuka, Kayla, Saiyoisen, and Axe.
Serving the Second Division for as long as he did as the third seat, it was of little chance that Rei chose it as his own when he ascended to the ranks of Captainship along with Saiyoisen and Seisatsu, purifying the failed hybrid-hollow 'Apex' as their Field Test. For his practical portion, he would find himself standing against Masaru by choice. This would influence his rather insanse decision to try for a rematch a few days later along with Kenzo and Dirge. Only a One-Hit-KO awaited him this time around.
His choice for Vice-Captain of the division was without contest, as he'd already worked with Shizuka extensively and knew he could trust her to watch his back, as well as easily handle the responsibilities of the position. Convincing her this was so was the more difficult part of the task.
The peace after the elimination of the Red Moon could only last so long, and would find itself shattered by the arrival of Emptybone's armies. The 2nd, 4th, and 10th Divisions would be dispatched to deal with an incursion of a small force, sending word back to Seireitei that it was a simple distraction, but not without its own dangers, as the force of Arrancar soon proved.
Along with Yuusuke, Rei would fight Anthracite to a standstill in the chaos of the battlefield, only to find himself standing before Matanza, the 4th Espada in Emptybones ranks, fighting for survival alongside Seisatsu, Jin, and Kenzo. After succesfully purifying the cannibilistic arrancar, he and Shizuka would share a moment amidst the survivors or the battle.
His remaining time in the Gotei would be marked by a tremulous time of negotiating a peace with the vizards, seeking to compromise so that both forces may better focus on the enemies at hand. He would, along with Kayla as its head, help in the reinstatement of the kidoushuu, becoming an establishing member.
After the attack on Emptybone's fortress, after surviving the battle with Jagr and learning about the coming difficulties with the Throne of Worlds, Rei would receive an invitation to join Masaru in the ranks of the Excelsior, an independant group who fought according to their own moral's and justice. He, alongside Saiyoisen, Jinsoku, and Junichi, would accept the offer, leaving behind their ranks to follow their own codes and paths.
