The Gildam Tabulis




Guilds are organizations that characters can join to meet people of like-minded interests or pursuits. They can have unique items and techniques associated with them, and depending on affiliation, joining one can include improved pay on some bounties or missions.

It costs money to register a guild or renew a disbanded guild, as well as to officially affiliate with an overarching faction. The registration can be purchased here.

Register Guild
Cost: 5,000 Exa

If a guild registration is denied, this fee will be refunded.

If multiple people want to go in together to buy a registration, they should transfer the exa to the one who will be Guild Master.

Requirements: In order to register a guild, you must have at least three players supporting the guild, and at least three characters to join it. The guild master must have a PC in the guild, but the other characters may be a PC or NPC, as long as three different players are involved.

If the Guild Master leaves or becomes inactive for two months, another player with a PC in the guild may take his place as a new Guild Master (to be discussed with GMs). If no player with a PC in the guild is willing to take the role, or if the guild is populated only by NPCs, and the Guild Master has gone inactive for two months, the guild may be disbanded.​

Benefits:

  • When a new guild is registered, the Guild Master may designate requirements for joining, or allow open applications.
  • The Guild Master may create a proprietary advancement or ranking system for its members, which may be a gateway for earning guild techniques or items. Officially, there is only one Guild Master, but rankings may place someone on equal standing, if desired.
  • The Guild Master may submit up to two guild techniques available to members, and determine how members will earn or attain these abilities. These techniques may not be kept if a character leaves the guild, unless retained via a Trained, Style, or Unique Feat Slot.
  • The Guild Master may submit one to three guild items available to members, and determine how members will earn or attain these items. These items may not be kept if a character leaves the guild, unless retained in place of a Unique Item.
  • The Guild Master may register allegiance with one of the four main factions: Arcanum, Commercium, Conexus, or Fraternitas. A guild may only be allied with one faction at a time, but the Guild Master may change allegiance at any given time, at a cost. All guild members gain the benefits of allegiance.

Below, is a basic form for registering a guild. While you do not have to follow the format exactly, please insure that every item is covered in your writeup before submitting it in this thread!

Guild Name: The name of your guild. Try to make it unique.

Guild Master: The character who will be in charge of the guild.
Founder: The player who will be in charge of the guild.
Founder's PC: The Founder must have a PC in the guild. This PC does not have to be the in-game guild master. If the PC is not the Guild Master, name them here.
Co-Founders: At least two other players must found the guild. They may join with PCs or NPCs.

Affiliation: If allied with a faction (Arcanum, Commercium, Conexus, Fraternitas), list it here, or put Freelance.

Description: What your guild's about. You may include a history for the guild or count it as a genuinely new guild.

Description: The Societas is, for ease of reference, a thieves guild although in reality they're much more. The approval of the Societas is seen predominantly by the residents of Terminus as a reaction to the events of the five-hundred and first Noctis Nils. The guild claims to do various jobs from architecture consulting, item retrieval, and collections; to security, transportation, and certain medical procedures. Because missions taken by the Societas are more or less sanctioned, members do not need to worry about bounties -- as anything stolen can be stolen again for the same price or more. The guild does remain capable of turning down certain jobs that it may deem hazardous to the well-being of the organization and it's employees. A common phrase around the guild is, "money talks, and the Society listens."

Description: Hospitium is a guild that functions as the middle man for illicit operations. They have no stock or affiliation with anyone but themselves. Hospitium members place themselves in the middle of deals and meetings, to ensure both parties follow suit peacefully. The buildings Hospitium have are available to use for those on the criminal side of society as secure meetings rooms or as a safe haven for rest, or just supplying the enjoyment of flesh should people require company. Hospitium also serves as an information broker sharing and gathering information from their clients and selling to those they deem worthy.

Of particular interest to the guild are locations which have been little explored, ancient ruins awaiting exploration, and missions or hunts that span countries and continents."

At least, this is what Keydis wrote on her paperwork, with a little help. Truth is, she just wanted to make her own guild to officially become a member of the Fraternitas, and have more of an excuse to travel the world.

Description:

The Peccatum Originale was born out of necessity from a less than ideal scenario. Having no other option than to sign their souls over to a rather eccentric demon, the original members desired to at least create some sort of safety net. However, from this necessity, a safe haven was created for any and all who knowingly or unknowingly were placed into precarious scenarios dictated by individuals beyond their control.

Regardless if they were contracted by demons, those controlled by vistra, powerful politicians, or even those who are toyed by the divine will of beings that call themselves gods, members of the guild are guaranteed to find fraternity from other members. Members of the guild are likely to seek and assist those held hostage by such beings fulfill their contracts break free from their control, by any means necessary.

However, while the creed of the guild appears noble from by first appearances, the characters within the guild tend to align themselves with the edges of society. It is unsurprising to find a mix of criminals, ne’er-do-wells, and social pariahs. As such, they may use methods that are more underhanded and violent to ensure success.
