Karma. Incarnation 1

Mmhmm.

Mmhmm.

This game. What is it about? I’m not sure. What am I doing? Something important, I’m sure. Who is the main character? Who knows. Where does it take place? Someplace funky. Why is it happening? I’m not even sure it is happening. This is just that kind of game. So go forth and experience the world of Karma. Incarnation 1.

Special thanks to swaswj for making this possible.

On Steam.

Time to learn your destiny.

This is a strange little game. You control a thing. That thing up in the image above. Not the guy in the mask. The dude with the red lips. He crawls around doing stuff. There is no text in this game. Everything is communicated through images. It’s mostly understandable. Mostly.

You make friends with a magical living elevator that takes you to different worlds to do stuff. The world is trippy, full of color, music and strange characters.

Fun in the jungle.

Your goal is to collect things to help purify the planet. Along the way, you’ll have to interact with the environment to find items people want or get to the place you need to go. The guy crawls around at a pace that’s too slow. When I need to wander around figuring out what to do, I want my little guy to wiggle faster!

Look into the spirit realm. Because we’re not there already.

Oh yeah, you gain the ability to see into an even stranger world. You don’t interact much with it, but you’ll gain hints by looking into that place.

This is a game that tells a story. A story about Karma. And Incarnation. This is the first one. I assume there’s going to be a second one. But the opening cutscene is quite good and actually does explain a fair bit. It helps you get lost in this strange and trippy world.

You just need to put together the pieces and figure it out.

This makes perfect sense.

There are some choices in how to solve problems. There’s nice way and a mean way that might affect the way the ending plays out. I haven’t tried it both ways. But if it did, that’s Karma.

Also, there’s totally a party planet that I would just like to hang out in.

All substances approved.
It’s party time!

Find it on Steam.
