Release Submission Thread

Gan - Approved; But I'm suggesting some sweeping Upgrades. Please repost if you don't want to keep it as is.

Attack 1 is fine, though not spectacular, the layering of strikes could help overcome barriers in a good way.

Attack 2 is magnificently weak. I think we need to find a way to massively uptweak this. Lets say for 3%/rei a round that he uses this, a 10m radius is frozen over from the point of impact. If someone is on that, they are lightly bound to the area and it is very difficult to traverse normally for people other than you. If you chose on subsequent rounds to reinforce the ice instead of expanding it by focusing someone on it, they strength of the binding continues to stack.

For the vizard attack, I'd suggest reinforcing the strength of the crescents with your rage, meaning you have the same number but very strong comparitively, strikes. You could probably even throw out that this reinforces bindings from #2 if you go that route. Quite good as is, but I think this would be a better option.

Unreleased

Zanpakutou:
Tod’s Zanpakutou is a naginata that is five feet in length, from tip to butt, with a plain black hilt and a foot and a half of the length being the blade at the end. About another half a foot down, there's a metal joint that connects the hilt of the weapon to the rest of the staff and blade half of the weapon. The weapon itself can split off from each other, with a twist of the parts opposite of each other at the joint, the blade part disconnects from the staff and becomes two separate weapons for use in each hand. The weapon can be used for mid to close range fighting and is good at keeping foes at bay. It comes with a sheath for the blade but Tod usually keeps it unveiled just in case he gets into a fight.

Shikai

Spirit's history:

Tod’s spirit has recovered to the point where it can come together again. It’s much more powerful since Widow Maker and Mist Fox were but fragments sent to guard and deal with the trauma of hurting Tod. The new spirit’s voice and touch is as cold as death.

Manifestation:
The combined spirit is called Grey Man, it is a humanoid creature with pale skin and a ratty brown cloak covers the spirit’s entire body. The only part that he can see on the creature are its hands and from its chin to its upper lip on its face. All of the flesh is shows is a pale, almost deathly, white. The lips are a pale pink color, as if they barely remember they held warmth and color at one point. It’s always dripping blood from it’s fingers and it’s feet leave bloody footprints.

Whenever it does show it’s face it can choose a face of anyone that the soul reaper has seen. Usually though the spirit chooses Tod’s own face. The scar at the boy’s neck is always bleeding on the spirits neck and it usually keeps that mark no matter what face it wears. When it changes faces it lowers the hood of its robe back over it's face for a moment before taking it back off with a new face.

Inner World:
Tod’s inner world shifted the moment his two spirits combined. No longer is it simply a swamp with a tree in the middle. Instead there is a house made in the old log cabin style as well as the tree that was Widow Maker protruding from the center of the house. The swamp itself has frozen over, creating loud crunches every time someone walks upon the grass and the part north of the house out the great window in the cabin is a cliff that seems unending.

Spirit Name:
Haiiro no Hito (Grey Man, 灰色の人)

Release Command:
Show them the chill of death, Grey Man

Shikai Release Form:

View attachment 128

The release is still the same katana with a few small differences. There’s a two inch length difference, it is a little longer than an ordinary katana, giving it a deceptive reach since the length difference is only see-able in close proximity. The blade turns white as snow and the hilt changes into that of a snowflake, the snowflake's design is different every time he releases. The handle of his katana changes from the checkered pattern to a pure black the color of frostbite.

When he releases his shikai, and while he’s remains released, the area within fifteen feet of the sword becomes noticeably colder, causing some to shiver the moment they feel the chill.

Shikai Abilities:

Koori no Mikaduki (Ice Crescents, 氷の三日月): Tod creates a crescent of Ice from his blade slash, much like his previous shikai. However now he doesn’t need to store up moisture since he can use ambient moisture. The ability costs 3% of his rei to use and at every 3500 rei he can create another crescent to attack with right behind the first one maxing out at 5 crescents total. Each extra crescent created this way costs an additional 1% rei.

Touketsu Suru Sekai (Frozen World, 凍結する世界) Tapping into his spirits’ nature Tod can actually freeze the world around him. He sets up a trap by stabbing the ground and freezes the ground within a ten meter radius of where the sword stabbed for a continuing cost of 3% rei per round. This makes the terrain around where he stabbed count as bad footing for anyone else but Tod. The power causes everything within the ten meter distance to freeze over, even those within the barrier and the ice continues to reinforce itself and refreeze those within the radius for each turn he pays the 3% cost.

Vizard attack Slot:
Kurai Tsuki Disuku (Dark Moon Discs ,暗い月ディスク) : While wearing his mask Tod can, by gaining rage instead of using reiatsu, create his Ice Crescents in a new, less pure, way. By gaining 6% rage instead of using his reiatsu he can replicate, and even power up, his ice crescents. The new crescents are corrupted with an oily black flames that creates a layer of frost on whatever they touch and the crescents themselves explode into an icy geiser that flash freezes whatever the crescent comes into contact with like a frozen wave within a three meter radius of the impact. Additionally the soul reaper can gain rage instead of using reiatsu in creating extra crescents just like his normal ability. For each extra crescent made while he’s masked he can gain 2% rage instead of spending the 1% reiatsu needed to create the extra crescent with a maximum of 5 crescents.

Zanpaktou

Diapasão (Tuning Fork)

Sealed - Like its wielder, Satoru’s zanpaktou is rather straightforward. It is an odd size, being around the size and proportion of a tanto with a royal purple wrapping over the well-polished silver of his hilt. The blade is an odd grey that matches his eyes. Both are notable for their strange and mesmerizing glint. The tsuba is engraved with patterns similar to that of a circuit board.

Release Phrase:
Emitir (Transmit)

Spirit: Diapasão takes the form of a large crimson bat. He is always seen soaring about with a pair of thick headphones around his neck identical to Satoru’s aside from their golden color. Due to the standard black and blue coloration of Satoru's inner world, he's not very difficult to spot. The spirit has a series of intricate lines inscribed among his back similar to those found in Satoru’s inner world. When speaking, he has a voice so low that it ripples through the very core of his surroundings.Diapasão is not a liar but he has a habit of answering questions in a very vague manner, much to the irritation of his owner.

World: Satoru’s inner world appears to be entirely computer generated. It is much like a crowded city in its design, what with the giant skyscrapers and closely-packed structures, every surface is black with lines of a light blue hue that provide the light of the world. The world has no sun; instead, it is lit entirely by the structures themselves. Because of this, the sky is always black.

Form: Diapasão begins as a simple but intricately designed staff around six feet long. When initially released, Satoru’s blade shatters into pixels and reforms into a six foot long staff with the glossy sheen of obsidian and intricate blue lines running across its form. Its most obvious visible feature is the single tuning fork on its end. While in shikai, the area thrums with an ambient humming sound like that of a powerful machine.

Tuning Fork (Round Two).jpg

Ability: Em Sintonia (In Tune)

Due to Diapasão's unique manipulation of sound and frequency, it has the ability to receive and transmit certain frequencies including those associated with the gamma waves produced by the brain. By paying 1% of his reiatsu per turn, Satoru can transmit waves that match the brain waves of any creature he chooses in order to open a channel of communication with them. When used on a humanoid creature (Shini, AH, Vizard, Hollow, etc), Satoru can transmit messages and music to them without the need for speech. In animals, he can exert some control over their actions due their primitive mental structure. This ability's range is 20 meters. He can establish a connection with a maximum of two beings with another connection gained per 4000 reiatsu for a maximum of 8 connections.

Ability: Ritmo de Ressonância (Resonant Tempo)

When this ability is activated, Satoru’s body and weapon will begin to vibrate rapidly. If he so chooses, some of the force behind each successful strike against an opponent is converted into a sonic charge. A maximum of two charges can be built up, one held in each fork. These charges boost the strength of his attacks and push his opponents back one meter for every charge he possesses. When struck, the opponent will be shaken due to the intense vibrations in a manner similar to a tuning fork. These vibrations vary from minor trembling on the point of impact to an almost jackhammer like force when the ability fully charged. When resonating, Satoru can deflect any projectiles with strength equal to or less than 10% of his Hakuda. However, doing so will use up one charge. Activation and maintenance of this power costs 1% of his reiatsu per turn. Once the ability stops, the resonance dissipates and he must begin building charges anew.

Attack: O Lançador de Baixo (The Bass Cannon)

For 15% of his reiatsu, Satoru releases a concussive cone of sound waves around 15 meters in length and 2 meters wide from one of the tuning forks on his weapon. Anyone or anything caught in this devastating sonic wave is thrown backwards and faces being shattered by the intense waves. Opponents become highly disoriented and find concentration difficult due to the distinct sound patterns utilized by O Lançador de Baixo... not to mention the fact that their eardrums have just been blasted out. Any subsequent techniques utilized by the opponent will have their effectiveness reduced by the amount paid into this attack and any technique that costs less than it becomes completely negated. This is treated as a pool equal to the amount of rei used by O Lançador de Baixo from which abilities are drained and has no bearing on the rank of techniques like Kidou.

Tuning Fork (Round Two).jpg

Ability: Em Sintonia (In Tune)

For 200 reiatsu per turn, Satoru may broadcast his own brain waves from Diapasão. This turns Diapasão into the equivalent of a mental radio tower, allowing him to convert and project his thoughts to a maximum of ten given targets within his range. When used on a humanoid creature (Shini, AH, Vizard, Hollow, etc), Satoru can transmit messages and music to them without the need for speech. In animals, he can exert some control over their actions due their primitive mental structure. The range of this ability is 30 meters. Only those who Satoru chooses to receive the broadcast may hear the transmission.

Attack: Ouça-me! (Listen to Me!)

This attack allows Satoru to convert his thoughts (and any music playing in his mind) into sound waves. This can happen in one of two ways, but never both at the same time. The sound can be projected from in between the prongs of his tuning fork, essentially turning it into a giant megaphone/speaker with a maximum 30 meter radius. He can control the level of volume mentally, going from simply boosting his voice in a conversation to shouting across the battlefield with ease. In this format, it requires 100 reiatsu per turn. When he amps it up by paying 500 reiatsu per turn, Satoru’s thoughts instead become condensed into powerful vibrations stored within Diapasão.
Upon impacting a surface, a shockwave is released up to five meters from the point of impact that conveys whatever Satoru is thinking about at that moment. Once affected by this ability, the only sound they can hear is that of Satoru’s voice. Each instance of deafening lasts for two turns, which can stack for a maximum effect of four turns. If an opponent comes into direct contact with Diapasão in this state, the thoughts will be conveyed to them as an incredibly loud shout directly into their minds which stuns for one round.

Attack: O Lançador de Baixo (The Bass Cannon)

For 15% of his reiatsu, Satoru releases a concussive cone of reiatsu around 15 meters in length and 2 meters wide that is composed of reishi, Satoru’s thoughts, and highly focused sound waves. Anyone or anything caught in this devastating sonic blast is thrown backwards and faces being shattered by the intense waves.

(Shikai)
Name: Crescendo
Release Command: “A tiger’s silence is louder.”

Inner World: Adele's inner world is represented by a garden. There are many trees and several plants of other types. The garden is designed with aesthetics in mind with lush green grass and delicate flowers. The air even smells good.

Manifestation: A siberian tiger with blue eyes (that can turn various shades of blue, silver, and grey) that can appear as large as a german shepard-usually opting to be the size of a large house cat-and will be able to take larger forms as Adele becomes more powerful.

Release Form: Crescendo takes the form of twin kodachi with neon indigo handles. Emblazoned in silver on the butt of one sword is a treble clef while a bass clef is on the butt of the other. While Adele can use them to fight traditionally, for some of her abilities she places the kodachi with the bass clef on one shoulder and uses the other as one would use a bow for a violin. Because she can hear the reiatsu she channels, she is able to use this method to “play” songs on her kodachi composed entirely of reiatsu. The effect of each song varies. Because her sense of “reiatsu hearing” is in essence detecting reiatsu in a manner similar to hearing, no actual sound waves are involved with her abilities/attacks.

Attack
Pachelbel’s Protection
Adele plays a classical piece on her kodachi to channel 10% of her reiatsu into this tune, she creates a spherical shield that has a radius between 1 and 3 meters. This is most effective when she uses Pachelbel’s Canon in D. The shield repels foreign/enemy reiatsu. Enemy reiatsu is recognized based on the sound of the reiatsu of anything that approaches the shield, allowing allies to remain in the shield, unharmed. Pachelbel’s Shield degrades over time if her kodachi do not come into contact with one another in order for her to play at least once per turn.

Ability
Lithium High

Adele plays a song from the rock genre, her preferred song for this technique being “Lithium” by Evanescence, in order to speed up her or an ally’s reflexes. The affected person’s reiatsu will be excited by “vibrations” from Adele’s spiritual energy that warps their perception making everything appear to be happening in slow motion (their physical speed is not affected by this). By adding 2% of her reiatsu to the technique she can give the affected person a slight speed increase that lasts for one turn. Not stackable with Pachelbel’s Shield. Lithium High’s affects fade at the standard degradation rate of a normal shield.

Diapasao - Resubmit with Changes; Buffing #1, hard choices on #2 and #3

1) Lets bump sending your thoughts around to Reiatsu Noukan range

2) This does . . . a lot. Especially considering you've also got another attack that does a lot in #3. I'd say pick one or the other in terms of effects and, note that I hate 'stun' effects. Taking away the ability of someone to do anything is one of the least enjoyable gaming experiences out there. Note, that doesn't mean no stuns ever, but, stuns need to have things intrinsic to them that prevent chain use etc.

3) 15% for a cone of rei blocking is fine. Adding in additional damage, etc, is tough, very tough. It won't work for a 3 slot kai. I'd pick one effect here and stick with it.

Crescendo - Repost with some tweaks;

1) The shield doesn't degrade on a turn she plays is a fine way to go about this. If she doesn't play, it degrades as per a normal barrier.

2) Stat buffs are a nono. Sadly, the GMs have said they don't happen. Also, something like this doesn't have to be in shield form: note that very weak shields tend to pop the turn after/on their created. You can definitely 'buff' someone without shielding them, unless, of course, you want to! Also note its somewhat confusing to say that 'speed up their physical reflexes' then say you don't is sort of odd. Are you changing the perception of time? Or are you going for something more like the AH agility base tech?

Note: Since there's a fight coming, I'll be attentive to this thread. Post, and its likely I'll get it the same day.

Lithium high lasts as long as Adele plays once per turn and cannot be stacked with Pachelbel's Shield.

Hey van, on ability two, I know what I want the effects to be but I feel like if there's nothing to enforce it like an effect or something, people will just ignore it. Help?

Only those who Satoru chooses to receive the broadcast may hear the transmission.

Attack: Ouça-me! (Listen to Me!)

By imbuing 750 reiatsu into Diapasão, Satoru can cause his weapon to emit a unique frequency upon impacting an opponent that alters a person's sensory perception. By doing so, this attack will dramatically amplify the hearing of one opponent for three turns. Excessively loud or harsh sounds like gunshots, screaming, or the clashing of weapons become utterly devastating. This will result in a sensory overload that hinders the opponent from attacking with their normal proficiency. This ability may only be active on one target at a time and requires two turns of cooldown after the first instance wears off to allow the target's mind to reset itself.

Welp lets give it a try.

Ginsei Kyojin
Silver Giant

Sealed: It takes the form of a plain average katana.

Release Phrase: Let heaven and hell tremble, Ginsei Kyojin

Manifestation/Inner world: TBD

Form: Similar to his old shikai, Ginsei Kyojin takes the form of gauntlets and boots. When the release phrase is said. It is completely blown away into dust and reforms around his arms and legs. The gauntlets are completely silver all around with the images of dragons encircling each other.

Ability 1: Rōdō no kajitsu (Fruits of Labor)

Ginsei Kyojin prefers that Dellius use his own natural strength rather than he give him a power and so grants him strength based on what the old man has. Dellius gains a charge equal to 5% of his hakuda stat for free permanently. The hefty spirit also loves demonstration of ones capabilities. That being said Dellius can acquire more charges by using his kai abilities (other than this one) or using hakuda techs or feats. The charges are immune to removable by his own techs and can be stored away for use at any time. Using the charges, he can amplify his normal attacks for attack/defense or combat against other abilities or defenses from within or without himself whether their physical or not.. He can gain a total of ten charges. While he will always get at least one charge for using a power, if the cost exceeds the charge amount, he can gain more than one charge depending on the cost. Unless Dellius uses a charge, uses his kai abilities or uses his hakuda abilities, he loses a charge each turn up to the first charge given.

Ability 2: Suzume/ hōku senjutsu (Sparrow/Hawk tactic)

Focusing more on evasion rather than offense, Dellius’s hakuda and hohou swap places, making him unnaturally fast while making him significantly weaker in fighting power. The stats swap back to their original state the moment Dellius intends to strike someone. It costs 10% of his current reiatsu a cooldown of four turns and the cooldown starts when Dellius intentionally makes an offensive move. When on cooldown, Dellius has the ability to gain charges from his first ability but he cannot use the charges until the cooldown is finished.

Attack 1: Gin ken (Silver fist)

The one power that Kyojin furue gave Dellius that didn’t rely on his own physical prowess, This ability allows Dellius to harness the power of intense vibrations to create powerful shockwaves from any point he chooses. This has the power to create violent earthquakes as well as blow away obstacles. He can launch three cone-shaped shockwaves a turn, maxes out at 20 meters and it costs 5% of his maximum reiatsu. There is also the option of making individual shockwaves stronger by adding another shockwave to it and increasing the area of damage. A normal shockwave is 2 meters wide, a middle powered one is 4 meters wide and a full powered one is 8 meters.

Dis - You're good. Note: I read this as, "Playing in a turn means not attacking or using offensive abilities". She could still move, but if you start smacking things you didn't play that turn.

Diapas - I think we're good. I find that when you're writing with people worth writing with, the effects that behave like #2 are some of the most fun.

unholy - Where's the cohesion? These abilities are all over the place. As for what your kai does proper

#1 - You want to add 5% of your haukda to store for later, passively at not cost, every time you use a hakuda tech and/or kai ability. That's really powerful. Then you discharge this in a blast. If you just spam techs and shit, you can have a 50% extra hakuda stat equiv rei blast added to your attack in short order. Very, very potent. I could approve something like this, toned down, and on a kai with less slots.

#2 Once every 4 turns, you can swap some stats for 10% of your rei. Given the very hefty cost, the swap back during attack might, might be acceptable. But again, on a three slot kai?

#3 You want a 5% rei attack with diversity between smaller and larger based on need. Again, this can work. But on a three slot kai?

In Summary: You want 3, badass amazing powers with nothing offered back in return to keep counterplay and balance in mind. I can't approve something like this, ever, or I'll get fired from my job. #2 is close to doable, but I don't like the insta-attack-ready swap. #1 needs toned down, big time. And #3 is pretty good, save its very diverse on a 3 slot, already has awesome powers kai.

Using the charges, he can empower his body to amplify his normal attacks for attack/defense or combat against other abilities or defenses from within or without himself whether they are physical or not. He can gain a total of ten charges and can only gain two charges a turn. When using more than five charges in one turn there is a 2 turn cooldown before he is able to use the charges again. While he will always get at least one charge for using a power, if the cost exceeds the charge amount, he can gain more than one charge depending on the cost. Unless Dellius uses a charge, uses his kai abilities or uses his hakuda abilities, he loses a charge each turn up to the first charge given.

“Radiant Ascension” - 100% Resonance

Upon reaching maximum Resonance, the very apex of Zakki’s power is unleashed. Wreathing his already-otherworldly form in a veil of cosmic energy, the human’s body is bolstered by his power, ascending to become a creature of pure, radiant power.

Once activated, Radiant Ascension immediately removes any negative status effects or persistent bindings and allocates 100% of Zakki’s remaining reiatsu for its continued use (no abilities other than those granted by Radiant Ascension may be used after activation). Every turn after activation Zakki must pay 2% of his reiatsu to maintain his ascended form.

Burning with spiritual power and malefic radiation, Zakki’s ascended form is naturally resilient to damage. Upon taking damage from any source, Zakki may choose to expend reiatsu from Radiant Ascension’s pool to reduce it by an amount equal to 1.5x the reiatsu paid. This ability cannot be activated more than once per turn.

While in his ascended form, Zakki gains complete mastery over radiation, gaining the ability to generate massive blasts of energy at will. These blasts can be targeted over a thirty meter radius around Zakki, exploding in massive pillars of light and radiation roughly one meter in diameter. Each use of this attack costs Zakki 20% of his reiatsu, taken from Radiant Ascension’s energy pool.

Once the energy pool allocated upon activation of Radiant Ascension is empty, Zakki returns to human form and his Resonance is reduced to 0%

Subbing Bankai, as well as a revised Shikai to better suit and create something cohesive. The first shikai skill only changed in wording, just to make a bit more sense.

EDIT: For old kai

This old thing

Wine-Stained Body, Self-Empowerment-

When released, Zhang Xu immediately begins to drain 3% of Raury’s reiatsu per turn. The energy used enriches the drunkard’s martial prowess, effectively combining his hakuda and hohou skills into a unified ability for the purposes of attacking or defending. This ability does not have an effect on Raury’s speed.

Swaying Motions, Impossible Dodge-

Born from a suiken user’s unpredictable style, Raury has the ability to move and contort in some surprisingly effective, if not ridiculous looking ways. Once every three rounds, Raury can put all he has into an extremely effective act of defense, making him capable of dodging attacks that would otherwise certainly connect. This technique costs 8% of Raury’s total reiatsu pool.

Raury cannot dodge an attack that exceeds double the cost of Impossible Dodge, and similarly cannot dodge attacks that exceed the sum of his combined hakuda and hohou.

Lógi
Raury’s Zanpakutou is relatively non-descript, being of the usual 60cm length, and possessing no unique qualities aside from a kanji carving in the hilt reading "Drunkard”. Like its owner, it appears ragged and unkempt, having a chip here and there in the scabbard, and being haphazardly jammed into Raury’s sash wherever it won’t be in the way. Any metal on the weapon, however, is cared for with precision.

Release Command: Drink them in, Lógi

Manifestation:

Previously thought by its owner to be a wonky little chimp, Ruary has learned that he had been given a false name, his zanpakutou thinking him to be unready for its proper power. Through personal growth, his Zanpakuto has finally found Raury unwanting, and shown him its proper form and name.

Lógi is a massive dragon, its elongated body coiled around a wine pot easily eight men heights tall, his flat head hovering over the mouth of the pot, ready for a drink. Its scales are the color of steel, riveted flat against its skin. Lógi’s pale green eyes can be seen from anywhere within the dark cave it resides in. For a dragon, it is relatively goofy in appearance, its body exceptionally long, large eyes and extremely expressive face.

Lógi’s personality has changed very little from the chimp, still nonsensical to the extreme, always drinking and boisterous. It also has a penchant, to Raury’s endless confusion, to break the ‘Fourth Wall’.

Inner World:

Though the alehouse Raury previously thought to be his entire inner world still stands, the world outside of it has opened up, it being a massive and dark cave housing Lógi, the world’s proper master. It is essentially the usual dragon’s nest, complete with hoards of treasure piled about, with the addition of a three story wine pot in the center.

ShiKai
Lógi (Fire)

The true form of Raury’s zanpakuto breaks into a network of metallic scales, these forming around his arms from wrist to just past the elbow. The scales offer the same strength of a blade, with the added benefit of flexibility, a necessity for his preferred in-close style. The scales give off considerable heat, flames energetically licking across their surface.

Phlogiston Soul-In its released state, Lógibegins to drain 3% of Raury’s reiatsu per turn. The energy used enriches the drunkard’s martial prowess, effectively combining his hakuda and hohou skills into a unified ability for the purposes of attacking or defending. In addition, Raury’s melee attacks now deal fire damage. This ability does not have an effect on Raury’s speed.

Enkindled Guard- At the cost of 10% of Raury’s total reiatsu, a partially visible shell of flame will erupt from his body. This shell hovers around the drunkard, serving as a persistent barrier equivalent in value to double the cost paid. In addition, if attacked close-quarters, the attack generates a gout of flame in retaliation equivalent to 20% of the cost of Enkindled Guard. The conjured barrier persists until broken, or until three rounds pass.

Bankai

Romuve Lógi (Sanctuary Fire)

Upon release, the scales of Lógi spread across Raury’s body, knitting a network of metallic scales across Raury’s hands, arms, chest and face. The scales of Romuve Lógi channel incredible heat, and as such, the flames given off by them has grown along with Raury’s strength, now wreathing his arms in torrential fire. As further testament to this draconian transformation, Raury’s pupils alter into a more slitted appearance and he will, on occasion, exhale smoke.

~Ability High Phlogiston Soul-In its released state, Lógi begins to drain 3% of Raury’s reiatsu per turn. The energy used enriches the drunkard’s martial prowess, effectively combining his hakuda and hohou skills into a unified ability for the purposes of attacking or defending. In addition, Raury’s melee attacks now deal fire damage. This ability does not have an effect on Raury’s speed. In his Bankai state, attacks made from the Hakuda school add a persistant burning effect equivalent to 20% of their cost over three rounds.

~Attack Conflagrate- Raury can utilize the flames birthed by his final release to hurl an intensely hot ball of fire roughly two feet in diameter at the cost of 3% of his total reiatsu. Left to itself, the flame will simply stick to the location it lands in, burning in an intensity equivalent to the cost of Conflagrate. At any time, Raury can pay this cost again to detonate the ball of flame, the detonation effecting a five meter radius, and in an equivalent intensity to the cost paid for the ball in total. If undetonated, the balls will burn for the duration of the Bankai. Raury can have no more than five balls of flame active on the field at any given time.

~Attack Flames That Deny- The volatile power given off by Romuve Lógi can be felt by anyone within close proximity of Raury, and thus any area within its influence is subject to the devastating roar of heat it projects. At the cost of 5% of Raury’s total Reiatsu, Raury can choose to target any reiatsu based projectile entering within 10m of himself, infusing it with power intense enough to consume it, both negating the attack and adding fuel to Romuve Lógi’s flames. Maxing out at three stacks, for each ability eaten by Flames that Deny, the cost of Raury’s Bankai techniques are lowered by 1% of his total reiatsu. If nothing is eaten within two rounds, the stacks will drop off. Raury can negate skills costing up to double the cost of Flames that Deny.

~Attack Wurm’s Sanctuary- The embodiment of a dragon’s legendary hide, for one round Wurm’s Sanctuary extends Romuve Lógi’s scales to the entirety of Raury’s body in an extremely powerful act of defense. This ability drains 15% of Raury’s reiatsu, empowering the scales to defend against attacks up to twice that cost for a single round.

Bought a resub. Aaaaand I'm back. Nerra's attempt at making a thematic kai for Yuu-chan.
(If you're wondering what's thematic about this wall-o-text I have for you, it's loosely based on a Japanese yuurei /ghost, not yuurei Yuu/, whose name is exactly the zanpakutou's name, and whose soul is manifested as the zanpakutou's soul. Stuff based from depiction of japanese ghosts and Yotsuya Kaidan. This explanation is yuureiception, but you get the point u___u')

SHIKAI FORM
Upon the utterance of the initial release, the blade becomes translucent katana, almost a phantom-like weapon that is nevertheless capable of inflicting damage like a normal sword.

Hitodama - Will of the wisp
A person is never truly alone. Sometimes, should one look around, a thing or two might accompany him... like a fire that carries the the will of the heart. By expending 3% of her total reiatsu, Yuurei is capable of conjuring a hitodama, in the form of a small tongue of flame within her reiatsu noukan range... or within her, if she so chooses. While it does not burn the surrounding area, it brings attention to itself in a rather queer way-- it feels like an entity’s reiatsu signature.

When used upon herself, the hitodama effectively changes how her reiatsu signature feels. She can choose to amplify or to suppress it, to change its racial orientation, as well as the actual ‘feel’ that distinguishes her reiatsu from someone else’s-- however, this change affects only the way how others perceive her reiatsu signature, without actually making a substantial change on her own. If used outside her body, it acts as a reiatsu bluff, forging the existence of an entity that isn’t otherwise there. When found, it appears to be a small fire that dwindles as the target victim walks closer to it.

She can only forge reiatsu signatures of races she has encountered, and the flame’s color depends upon it, taking the color of the race’s signature’s ribbon as it appears in a reiraku takan conjuration. There is no limit to the suppression but she can only amplify it to as much as twice her total reiatsu. The reiatsu signature she can conjure is random, thus, the signature may not necessarily belong to a person of Yuurei’s acquaintance.

The effects of this ability lasts for one round per 100 reiatsu paid in the ability, or until the bait is taken.

Bakuro - Revelation
When you make a mistake once, it’s an error. When you make the same mistake the second time, it’s a choice. This is a piece of wisdom Oiwa holds on to, and manifested through Bakuro-- which works to recognize a deception formulated towards the user. While Yuurei’s shikai is activated, the power of Oiwa grants her the inherent ability to easily recognize whenever she is being lied to, if the lie is perceived by any of her senses.

By expending 250 reiatsu, Yuurei is able to discern the details of the deception-- who is lying, how she is being lied to, and which parts of it are lies. However, it is up to her to find out the other details not covered by Bakuro (such as what is being hidden, and why she is being lied to).

Ikitsukeru - Haunt
Oiwa’s soul was bound to damnation by her own grudges-- and she is going to make sure that she won’t be suffering alone. Through Ikitsukeru, Yuurei is able to force her opponent into reliving the single most painful moment of their lives. Upon the activation of this ability, the target’s surroundings glow in an ethereal light, and a life-like illusion of the event plays before their very eyes, like a live film. And while it is merely a film to Yuurei and everyone spectating, it has a harrowing effect to the target.

While she cannot force the target’s response to this haunting, Yuurei is able to force the pain to flood back-- physically, emotionally, mentally, or psychologically. By spending 5% she is able to force the target to relive the pain brought by such occurrence, in a similar magnitude to the pain felt by the target during the first time it occurred. The pain initially lasts for one turn, with an additional turn with every 5,000 she has in reiatsu, capping at three. She must wait for three turns before she can use Ikitsukeru once more.

Van's having to withdraw from staff and the RP for a while, so I'm going to post here real quick. I'm doing this before work, so I'll look at yours later, Nell.

I'll figure out a more permanent solution when time allows.

A normal shockwave is 2 meters wide, a middle powered one is 4 meters wide and a full powered one is 8 meters.

Denied/Resubmit. The first ability... the way you're describing the charges gets very lengthy and confusing. Keep it simple, something easy to track during combat and easy for your opponents to understand. 5% base is fine, on a two-slot shikai. Already that's a permanent, costless, 50% increase to your raw damage from punches (by default, a regular melee hit carries 10% of the attacking stat in strength).

Gain a max of one charge per turn, max of three charges total (maxing at +15% hakuda to damage, which is 250% of normal). Charges remain indefinitely, but are used all at once when landing a melee hit. Charges would be gained after using techs like Goraikou, so you don't just automatically add the extra +5% on impact. Yes, that makes it harder to get that last charge since you can't gain two charges from direct hits. That's intentional.

Second ability, make sure to specify that 'each' costs 5%. This is a pretty good way to give yourself an ability that can be rather versatile.

Subbing Bankai, as well as a revised Shikai to better suit and create something cohesive. The first shikai skill only changed in wording, just to make a bit more sense.

With Phlogiston soul, for narrative purposes, it'd be better to say something like 'his fists are wreathed in flames' than 'now deal fire damage.'

Enkindled Guard has multiple things going for it that overbalance it. Getting a barrier that doesn't decay for three rounds and blocks 2:1 and deals damage on contact (without specifying if that weakens the barrier) is a bit much. Approved as below:

When struck, Enkindled Guard responds to an attack by meeting it with a gout of fire of equal strength, making melee attacks within 2m of the drunkard exceedingly dangerous and painful. The barrier persists until its strength runs out.

The changes to Enkindled Guard make it 1:1 except on close-range melee hits, where it will block the hit and do damage. This is limited to close-range hits within 2m, though, so enemies can get around the backlash by utilizing ranged attacks and large weapons like polearms.

High Phlogiston Soul, need to reword this a little but it's good. Conflagrate, this is good.

Revised Bankai

While in this state, Raury's melee attacks are wreathed in flame, and successful uses of attacks from the Hakuda school leave a lingering burn equivalent to 25% of the cost each round, for two rounds following. This ability does not have an effect on Raury’s speed.

At the cost of 5% of Raury’s total Reiatsu, Raury can choose to target any reiatsu based projectile entering within 10m of himself, infusing it with power intense enough to consume it, negating the attack.

~Attack Wurm’s Sanctuary- The embodiment of a dragon’s legendary hide, for one round Wurm’s Sanctuary extends Romuve Lógi’s scales to the entirety of Raury’s body in an extremely powerful act of defense. This ability drains 15% of Raury’s reiatsu, empowering the scales to defend against attacks up to twice that cost for a single round, after which the scales immediately fall to the ground.

Changes to the added effect of HPS: instead of 100%, +20%, +20%, +20%, hakuda techs will do 100%, +25%, +25%

The rest is described above.

Approved.

Ginsei Kyojin
Silver Giant

Sealed: The katana’s edge is completely dulled like a club and the hilt looks more like carved stone than metal.

Ginsei Kyojin prefers that Dellius rely upon his own personal strength rather than borrow the strength of his zanpakuto. Upon release, he gains the power to either attack opposing energy forces or defend against them using his raw melee skills. He can do this twice in one turn and it can’t be the same target twice in a row. He is limited to things than can physically harm him and he can’t destroy bakudou that aren’t shields. In addition, he harnesses the strength of his own spirit to enhance the damage of his physical blows, imbuing them with a permanent base charge equal to 5% of his hakuda stat. Through landing an attack with Gin Ken or techniques from the hakuda school, Dellius can gain up to two additional charges. Unless he pays 4% of his maximum reiatsu per additional charge each round, the charges are used up when he successfully lands a hit. When the blow lands, Dellius gains a charge at the end of that round; he can gain only one per round. Taikaku Kakougan and Taikaku Chuutetsu work in tandem with this ability and do not weaken the charges.

Attack 1: Gin ken (Silver fist)

The one power that Ginsei Kyojin gave Dellius that didn’t rely on his own physical prowess, this ability allows Dellius to harness the power of intense vibrations to create powerful shockwaves from any point he chooses. This has the power to create violent earthquakes as well as blow away things in his path. He can launch three cone shaped shockwaves a turn, maxes out at 20 meters and each shockwave costs 5% of his maximum reiatsu. There is also the option of making individual shockwaves stronger by adding another shockwave to it thus increasing its power and the starting size of the cone. The attack can be shot from any movable point of his body. A normal shockwave is 2 meters wide, a middle powered one is 4 meters wide and a full powered one is 8 meters.

Resubmit. You're still trying to do too much with first ability and you even took away one of the stipulations we discussed, that being that all the charges are used up at once. This is still what I propose:

Ginsei Kyojin prefers that Dellius rely upon his own personal strength rather than borrow the strength of his zanpakuto. Upon release Dellius harnesses the strength of his own spirit to enhance his physical blows, imbuing them with a permanent base charge equal to 5% of his hakuda stat. Through landing an attack with Gin Ken or techniques from the Hakuda school, Dellius can gain additional charges. When the blow lands, Dellius gains a charge at the end of that round; he can gain only one per round, maxing at three total. In addition to amplifying Dellius' attacks, Ginsei Kyojin seeks to purge unnatural states from his body.

All of Dellius' current charges are used up explosively at once upon landing a melee strike, and negative effects up to the value of the charges are purged (strongest possible effects first) with that strike. Taikaku Kakougan and Taikaku Chuutetsu work in tandem with this ability and do not weaken the charges.

With love and help from will...5th times the charm

Sealed: The katana’s edge is completely dulled like a club and the hilt looks more like carved stone than metal.

Release Phrase: Let heaven and hell tremble, Ginsei Kyojin

Manifestation/Inner world: The inner world is a vast silver mountain. Near the top lies a temple of sorts where the spirit resides. Within the mountain, lies the three voices that work to guide Dellius: the voice of logic, wrath, and reason. Ginsei Kyojin is a large humanoid creature who is in fact the mountain himself. He is sliver, with glowing white eyes and has glowing cracks splintering on different parts of his body. He wears pants sometimes and other times, just a fundoshi. He is quite jovial, but he is also wise. He doesn’t revel in battle like his predecessor did, but he enjoys it like a sport. Ginsei Kyojin also prefers that Dellius utilize his own might in occasion.

Form: Similar to his old shikai, Ginsei Kyojin takes the form of gauntlets and boots. When the release phrase is said. It is completely blown away into dust and reforms around his arms and legs. The gauntlets are completely silver all around with the images of dragons encircling each other.

All of Dellius' current charges are used up explosively at once upon landing a melee strike, and this detonation of raw strength can even weaken or destroy kidou, or kidou-like effects such as cero, on contact. Taikaku Kakougan and Taikaku Chuutetsu work in tandem with this ability and do not purge the charges.
