Amaya didn’t flinch as the attack came at her. She let the lightning jolt through her body, and her arms and legs convulse and stiffen erratically. As the kidou energy finally left her body, another sickening grin filled her face.
“Impressive Hikaru,” her body was still shaking, and Amaya found it increasingly difficult to stand. “It doesn’t seem like you though to stand that far away, flinging spells.”
Gritting her teeth, Amaya forced her body into a flash of shunpo. Reappearing in front of the young Vice Captain, Amaya fanned out her whips in between the two. The smile on her face softened as she urged her whips to lash at her friend.
