Name: Kanzaki Tetsuo

Age: 90 Actual / died with 17

Physical Stature:

Visual Aid - art done by, and all credits reserved to: Auguy@deviantart

Tetsuo hasn’t changed all that much during his time away from the Gotei. The external characteristics that compose the man, such as his messy brown hair and his yellowish, honey colored eyes remain the same as before. However, what one cannot see at first glance are the minutiae that have changed about his picture. Among such, one familiar with his past appearance could say that there are new scars covering his body, or that his hair doesn’t really retain the same vivacity as before. And of course, such person would quickly notice that, if anything, Tetsuo’s eyes are far from the promising ones he once displayed – the shine is gone, replaced by a darker undertone that offers no such things as consolation or solace.

Persona:

What one could say about his appearance, certainly can’t be said about his personality. To all matters and facts, Tetsuo is not the same man as before. Kindness and warmth have been replaced with reservation and coldness. The years of searching have shaped Tetsuo into a person hard to approach and befriend if such intention is not shared by the man himself. This reveals another facet of his personality, one developed by necessity: he learned how to cheat and lie, and how to take advantage of others if that’s to his benefit. The singular experience of having to take care of himself without relying on a gargantuan entity such as Seireitei behind his back taught Tetsuo how to get around on his own two feet, and how to trust his instincts and opinions before anything else.

Biography:

Former Vice-Captain of the Eleventh Division and one of the few shinigami that have ever seen the figure of Esqueleto Divinidad and lived to tell the tale, Tetsuo collects more myths about his time spent in the eleventh than he could care for. Along with Tsubaki, he was perhaps one of the longest serving shinigami of the division in a time when new recruits were felled by the dozen in the sands of Hueco Mundo. However, that all came to an end after Masato, the previous captain, mysteriously left the division years ago. Unable to cope with the loss of a figure so central to his development as a human being, Tetsuo embarked on a journey to find Masato, leaving behind his rank, his zanpakutou, and his identity as a shinigami. Years have passed, and now he finds himself once more knocking at Seireitei’s door.

The murmur of a busy morning resounded across Rukongai, announcing that once more the sun had risen to greet the ageless land. Sure, any night could also be as noisy, but there was a distinct quality to the sound of a morning. It sounded new and fresh, as if every jumbled word thrown to the wind held limitless potential just waiting to be exploited in some way or another. Nights tended to be more secretive, more concealing about just how far they could be taken; they didn’t sell themselves short like mornings. Mornings were cheap and nights were pricey.

Tetsuo had learned that quite well; however, his current situation belied that knowledge. Dressed in dirty rags, lying in a puddle of some very recognizable substance, the former shinigami was the prime example of a night gone wrong... or wild depending on the point of view.

"Where... am I?” He murmured to no one in particular in order to sate a desire to do something.

Memories of his last night were hazy and confusing. There were a number of women and men dancing, then booze, some more dancing, and even more booze – and all of it happening at some club... on earth, which was odd.

"This is not the living realm. The hell happened?”

Collecting himself, Tetsuo noticed that he wasn’t feeling any kind of hangover, nor did his body show any signs of abuse in the last twenty-four hours, which was also odd. Drawing a straight line from his memories to his current conditions, things just didn’t seem to add up. He should be in a much, much worse state if all those things he kept recalling happened in the previous night.

The only things linking him to a night like the one his memory tried to sell him were his completely shady clothes and the puddle – both things that could have been arranged by others. However good that conspiracy theory looked inside his head, it still didn’t answer how in the nine hells he had made the switch from the living world to Rukongai. There weren’t many people who could make the trip illegally without setting off a whole array of alarms and a tasking force from Seireitei to look into matters, and judging from how peaceful the morning seemed so far, none of these things had happened.

"Whatever... this might just work for me anyway.”

It was true. Tetsuo had indeed been thinking of going back to Soul Society and checking up some things, maybe try and visit Seireitei while he was at it and try to coerce some people to snitch some classified information about where the hell a captain-level shinigami could go for vacation without dragging a whole lot of chaos and destruction with him. Wherever that place was, Masato was surely to be there. That kind of information could only be in one place, the sole place where Tetsuo had not looked so far – which was a rather dumb, not to say stupid, since he could’ve done so before leaving the Gotei... but the thought didn’t cross his mind back then, for whatever magical reason he was unable to recall.

Leaving the alley where he woke up, Tetsuo looked around to try and pinpoint just where his mysterious transport had left him. Due to some very noticeable traits of the general landscape – such as some famous bars and other alternative entertainment establishments – he discerned that he was, at best, some good three to four hours away from the nearest gate into Seireitei. Dusting himself off, Tetsuo started the walk towards his old home, inattentive to the penalizing stares directed at him and to the unmistakable stench exhaling from his clothes.

"You want to see Captain Mabara Tsubaki of the Eleventh?” a giant voice, no less belonging to a giant of all things, boomed from above as two ridiculously large eyes stared at Tetsuo’s frame. "Now that’s something...”

The humungous man standing between Tetsuo and his destination seemed less than incredulous regarding what he had just heard.

"Yeah, I know... but hey, be a pal? I’m running a tight schedule here.” Tetsuo replied as nonchalantly as he could.

"Look, man, the only way you’re getting in is either by being invited by some big-wig, or by being a bona fide shinigami. I’m guessing neither applies. So scram.” The voice of the giant replied in a friendly tone, clearly wanting to avoid dragging the argument out.

"Don’t be like that, pal. I really, really would like to see Tsubaki and ask a few questions... that’s all. I mean, what else could I even do to you guys, eh?” Replying in a very respectful manner, the hazel-eyed man pointed to both sides of his robes, "See? No swords, no weapons, no nothing that could even hurt a fly. What harm is there in letting me in?”

"I said scram, didn’t I? So be a good sport and get out of my sight before things get ugly.” By now the giant was starting to get annoyed by the little man. It showed in his voice, louder and commanding more respect. How hard it was to understand that there was nothing he could do to allow the man passage? There were rules about this kind of thing, and they clearly stated that no one entered without a good reason – a reason that came from inside the walls, not from outside.

Yet there was another reason for the giant’s sudden change in tone. During the small exchange between him and the wanderer, another pair shinigami had reached the gate, the rest of the guards supposed to protect the place and stand watch on who went in and out.

"What’s going on here?” one of them inquired of the giant, and after he was briefed, his face turned in Tetsuo’s direction. It then froze in some strange and possibly horrifying expression for a couple of seconds before assuming a grave countenance, "I know you.”

"Aw, fuck.” Tetsuo’s expression and body language changed from the previous beggar-like state to something much more feral and wild, "... you know me, and?”

"And you’re getting arrested, of course. Or did you think you could just desert the Gotei like that and expect no punishment? Now...” taking a few steps forward, the unnamed shinigami reached a hand around his zanpakutou’s tsuka, "you can either come quietly, or we can cause a scene and attract some very unwanted attention to this place. It’s your call.”

"Man... as much as sparring with you guys would be a nice change of pace...” He pointed, once again, to the emptiness on both sides of his body, "...I havo sword.” Throwing both hands forward, wrists joined, Tetsuo simply bowed his head to the shinigami.

"Do what you must, but I’d like you to notify Captain Tsubaki that I’m back.”

"We’ll see about that.”

Herro Crys, welcome back!

Well I looked over your app, and hey, thanks for giving me an easy job to do (no seriously).

Name: It's a name.

Age: Right, we know how old he is.

Physical Stature: And how he looks, which is fine as well.

Persona: No problems here.

Biography: Oh look, history! Naisu!

Division: Whatever rocks your boat.

Zanpakutou: Since you apparantly gave it to Tsubaki, you have none. So yeah, poor sword-less bastard.

Stats: Approved by Will, so approved by me.

Sample Chapter: I can clearly see that you're a seasoned writer and you know what you're doing. With that, off to 'Final Drafts' you go!

Still going with that guy eh?

There are some mistakes in the punctuating of your app. For instance

"Where... am I?” He murmured to no one in particular in order to sate a desire to do something.

The he could be lower case. That is because the entire thing is one sentence and he is not a proper noun so should not be capitalized mid sentence.

"Yeah, I know... but hey, be a pal? I’m running a tight schedule here.” Tetsuo replied as nonchalantly as he could.

The period at the end of the spoken section should be a comma. That is because the entire thing is one sentence.

Mm, it happens else where in the app too so go review those rules.

The issues aren't overly detractive though so approved. Graagh why is there no color drop down selection place?
