God, spend-y turn.
[ What Lies Beyond the Glass Veil ]
[Unique]
Among the house of enchanters there is no school of magic more widely appreciated then that of illusions. Those without experience will tell you it is useless, and that evocation or thaumaturgy are more valuable. Yet when it comes down to the visual abilities and sensational effects an illusion can have (especially when well crafted), they are quite hard to beat.
Doubly-so when most enchanters are tricksters who revel in the numerous applications of misdirection and pranks.
As a major enchanter in the Gotei, Haresuno cannot deny the fact that he has used some types of illusions (mundane or magical) for his own benefit. By mixing his acute attention to details and weaving the powers of a shinigami behind this skill, he pays 2% of his reiatsu for an illusion whose measurements are no bigger than 5 feet long, 5 feet wide, and 10 feet tall.
Because of the complex nature of illusions, even with Haresuno's expertise, he can only sustain up to one illusions in combat which can act accordingly to his will, and whose details are so realistic that one can imagine themselves interacting with it normally.
These illusions need not be stationary, or of scenery or objects. As long as the illusion fits the parameters, it can be moved to Haresuno’s will and act as Haresuno sees fit.
[ Taikaku Chuutetsu ] - "Cast Iron Constitution"
Reiatsu courses through the user's body, burns furiously on the surface of it. Taikaku Chuutetsu is the greatest expression of a hakuda-user's mastery over their body. Some of the most insidious of unnatural effects are burned away from the practitioner once this is activated. While active, the user may ignore almost any blow, their hardened body shunting off most attacks.
This ability costs 10,000 reiatsu. The burning energy coats the user's skin as a persistent barrier worth 10,000 reiatsu, and immediately removes all positive and negative effects to the user's body (directly cutting into the barrier by the cost of the effects in place), strongest effects first. This lasts for five rounds or until the barrier is whittled down.
Requirements: 10,000 Hakuda
[ Shunpo ] - "Flash Step"
A commonly taught skill for the Shinigami. Though it may be learned at an early level, mastering the technique is another story entirely. The initial level of shunpo is a burst of speed in a single, straight direction. As the user's skill in Hohou grows, they may learn more advanced techniques and maneuvers.
A basic flash-step costs 200 reiatsu, and can cover up to 15m. The user bursts in one direction at near-blinding speed, but is unable to attack or turn. The speed of the step is determined by the user's Hohou, and only those with at least 50% of the user's Hohou can visually keep up with the movement. If the user's hohou is comparable to an enemy's attacking stat, then they stand a good chance of being able to dodge with a shunpo.
Flash-steps are only usable once per turn, with an additional use per turn gained for every 5,000 Hohou.
Requirements: 1,000 Hohou
[ Shunpo Senmon ] - "Flash Step Expertise"
The practitioner has grown familiar with the rush of motion and has learned how to maneuver during it. The user cannot reverse their direction, but they have some control over turning and positioning themselves strategically, though their turns cannot be greater than 60 degrees.
Requirements: 2,500 Hohou
[ Kyopoku-Ryu: Hanmeitai ] - "Establishing Form"
The core principle of Kyopoku-ryu is to attain a primordial balance between your position to your opponent’s. That careful measurement is known as Hanmeitai, the Establishing Form. Paying 3% of their reiatsu per round to enter Hanmeitai, the user gains a distinct boost in their spatial awareness relative to the cost paid, allowing them to react instinctively to the movements of opponents within 5m. Training in Kyopoku-Ryu encourages close-quarters combat but favors anticipation and evasion over weathering direct hits.
In addition, it assists their ability in identifying high-speed motion within this space, allowing them to recognize and track such movement at 35% of the user's movement stat rather than 50%.
[ God Hand ]
Founders are uniquely tied to the world in a physical sense. A rope that allows them to feel the interwoven spiritual particles of any world with an acute awareness. Making their senses keener than most because of this intimate relation, and helping them to understand the world around them. The true reason behind this new-found enhancement, is the ability to manipulate the very fabric of reality to their own desire.
Outside of battle, a Founder has the opportunity to alter the world according to their whim. Able to take a desolate canyon and make it into a field of flowers if they so choose, and have the power to. This allows a Founder to even establish traps where ever they so choose as well within their domain, making them formidable planners and tricksters.
Within combat a Founder’s ability to access [God Hand] is not revoked, but due to the strenuous conditions of a fight, their focus is greatly reduced. For the price of 500 reiatsu a Founder is able to twist a 5 m area to their control and shape it. This may only be used once per turn and only a maximum of 10 m may be altered at one time.
[ Hitei Reiatsu ] - "Negation Reiatsu"
[Unique]
Haresuno has been, much to his dissatisfaction, at the receiving end of too many powerful attacks. Many of which have been wrought through the mystical powers of reiatsu, only then to be unleashed upon him.
In a much needed attempt to deter such events in the future, Haresuno’s own reiatsu took on a unique property after some prodding. He has learned through trial and error that for the cost of 4% his overall reiatsu he is able to use his reiatsu to weaken, or even nullify, techniques up to the that amount.
This effect will hit techniques within 10m of Haresuno and can be used 5 times per battle.
