[4th/4th/5th] Week ---: Gardeners unite!

“Very few,” the captain replied, answering Miyahara’s initial question. “A good majority of herbs and other medicinal plants are, sadly, not developed with beauty in mind. Suffice to say that is probably for the best. Would you destroy something beautiful for the sake of saving yourself or another? Most would not, for such is their appreciation for beauty and such is their ignorance of what those plants might do for them.”

Step-by-step, Haresuno began descending to the next room. From the short stride it took him to go from each step, it certainly looked annoying for someone of his height to use such a cramped-looking stairwell. Regardless he seemed well at ease with his shoulders brushing either side of the stairwell.

“You speak of zankensouki,” he went on, his bass voice carrying upwards and back to the two healers behind him. “The actual study of the four shinigami arts. Hm.”

There was a pause in his words that stretched on for a moment as a chill wind swept upward through the staircase.

“Training others is one of my jobs,” he finally said. “And I would have no greater joy than to help other young shinigami learn of other techniques from the various schools. Is there a particular discipline you focus on, and one that you would like to know more about? What about you Miss Ren?”

OMFG. I'm so sorry I couldn't get a turn in asap like usual. Ily guise dont hate me for supreme lateness. <33333

As Ren climbed the staircase, following Haresuno and Miyahara, she continued listening to them, though only halfheartedly. The thought of her future garden coming to full bloom, pun possibly intended, brought a smile to her features. Perhaps the library would help her choose what flowers would go well with what others. What kind of colour scheme or type of organization would she go with? The possibilities were endless for the gardener.

Completely out of character, she tuned back into the conversation between the two ahead of her with a 'huh?' before replaying the question in her head. "Oh. I'm sorry. I must have blanked out," she sheepishly laughed before providing her answer. "I've always been a fan of the Demon Arts. They're incredibly versatile. I'm also a Hakuda practitioner, though I have plenty to learn in the area. Lucia-sama is training me well."

The healers walked passed a doorway with the captain standing there holding it open for them. “So Captain Amaterasu-Frey is doing more than playing video games,” he said with a chuckle. “That’s quite the relief.”

In the next room, where the air had turned away from its pleasant warm ambiance, here the flowers and plants were spaced further apart. All their leaves bundled close together while branches reached out like sickly fingers. Color had not entirely left the place. Sprinkled all throughout the room the occasional brightly colored flower could be seen, but more often than not the colors were darker.

Once the two of them were beyond the door, Haresuno closed it and continued to walk passed them. He continued forward, saying as he went, “Your captain is quite adept at combining spells with hakuda, though memory serves that she was far more adept with chiyudo than with kidou.”

Unseen, Haresuno rubbed at his ribs where Lucia had clipped him during her training sessions. “I amend, however, that her kidou shouldn’t be taken lightly.”

Pausing in his stride, the Founder-Captain turned around back to the young healers. “Though if you watched her taishuu, you’d know that neither is mine. If either of you wants to, at any point, learn more about blending kidou into your fighting styles you can see me. Simply call ahead and your message will be passed to me.” He focused on Miyahara, then, and added, “Or other training, for that matter.”

"Oh, I was able to watch the taishuu! I was able to watch her fight with Captain Commander Inuzuri, as well!" Ansherina spoke excitedly, the memories of Lucia's fights flooding the networks of her mind. It was a spectacular fight, a frightening one, at that. "It was one of the reasons why we came to you and to Captain Frey. To young shinigami like us, it was inspiring! I already have Captain Pierce training me with my non-healing kidou skills, but I know that there is so much to be learned other than kidou and healing."

With a smile, the mousy healer looked up at the captain. "I will make sure to send a message if we ever come for trainings." Although the woman was calm and expectant outside, her belly was already bubbling in excitement. It was both frightening and exciting. To hide that excitement however, the woman opted to look around, silver eyes darting around to every flower that caught her eyes.

Haresuno nodded, satisfied.

Lifting his right hand, the captain pointed off in the direction he had been heading. “If you head straight that way you’ll find the doors leading to the main hallway. I can’t recall if it’s quicker to go right or left, but either way will lead you to the library. Take care not to damage the books, please. I take care of knowledge almost as fervently as my gardens.”

His hand drifting back to his side, the captain gave a polite bow to the two women. “I’ll leave the two of you to find it, as I’ve my work to return to. There won’t be any traps on this floor, but when you want to leave you’ll need the help of my founders like when you arrived.”

The young vampire smiled at the mentioning of her captain's taishuu, something she only heard about. "I couldn't see it, I had a mission elsewhere at the time," a hint of sadness was in her tone as she explained, "but I saw her fight against the human, Nenshou Mouko. That was beyond astonishing."

With their journey towards the library nearing its end, Ren listened closely to Haresuno. Perhaps training with one of the most well-rounded shinigami wouldn't be half bad of an idea. Kyuketsuki had no qualms about it, and she was sure Lucia wouldn't. "Thank you so much, Uchiharu-taichou. We won't be long in the library and we'll take care of your books. Thank you." A polite bow followed as she slipped her hand into Ansherina's once the delicacies of goodbyes were complete and gently coerced her to following her into the library.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She spoke to the captain as her body followed the other healer's silent beckoning. "We will take care of your books! We promise. We do not really want our medicines replaced with seeds, you have our word on that."

With a bow, the woman took a last bow to the captain. While she was nervous about the ordeal earlier, it seemed as though the meeting went well. As her feet moved farther and farther away, the more her heart and mind became filled with ideas of the future, and less of the feelings and thoughts she carried when she first stepped inside the Biodome.
