Name: Apollyon
Age: 21
Race: Spurii: Enlil/Velen
If Spurii, indicate your first Racial Trait: Aquatic Affinity (Velen)
Vigor: 1500 Esteem: Unknown
Latens: 0
Persona: Apollyon can be described as being someone who is very good at hiding his true emotions behind a smile. He is very optimistic about everything, and despite being discriminated against, tries to do his best to get along with others. Naturally he is kind hearted, but if anything discriminating about his people is placed before him regardless of the form it may take he can react violently.
He is often found working on improving his combative prowess, among other things. He takes great pride in all of his crafts and takes even greater pride in being able to effectively apply each one in combat when necessary. Apollyon is known to take whatever job is given to him regardless of what it may be as he sees more value in the learning experience than money.
Physical Stature: Apollyon is considered heavily muscular among any species standards and appears as if his entire body is made up of nothing but pure muscle. Being of mixed descent between two races who are known to be in conflict makes him a rarity even among others of mixed heritage and because of this his appearance makes him a huge standout. His body is colored a deep grey with scales that overlap across a majority of his upper body while his thin same colored feathers blend in perfectly over them. He has retractable gills that line both sides of his neck and on his back he has the crest that bears his family's insignia.
He stands at around six foot four and has five webbed fingers with one inch claws reminiscent of talons on each hand. He has deep purple eyes which are keen in any given environment or time. He has an almost reptilian sort of face with a slightly extended jaw with rows upon rows of inward curving fangs. On his head he has an overgrowth of scales with a thicker coat of feather grown over it to make it seem as if he has an attached mane of hair. With his stream like body he is easily capable of underwater travel and the retractable fleshy membrane hidden underneath his feather's on his side can be used for flight, although he has yet to learn.
Biography: Apollyon's Enlil father was a traveler across many lands, and because of this became skilled in a variety of trades which made him a great contributor to a multitude of factions, but after it was made known of his relationship with a Velen woman he was forced to leave Terminus and head south with his then pregnant wife. Apollyon was actually born after a short traversal through the Southern Wastelands. As a child Apollyon was inclined to find his own freedom in the form of a life purpose and for a time became depressed very easily because he was told there was none for an abomination like himself.
Of course his parents were kind to him and often told him that he was one who could master the land, the sea, and the sky. Being concerned for his son's future Apollyon's father made sure that he taught him all of the skills he picked up during his travels across the world. Now with his parents long gone Apollyon plans to do his parents proud by taking the skills he learned from his father to change the perception of hybrid's like him to the general populace as capable beings.

Sample Chapter:
It was the dead of night when the muscular reptilian like man appeared into the grand city of Terminus. Having traveled all the way from a venture in Rigentis, the male was covered in a thick desert overcoat that covered the entirety of his body. He appeared eager to enter in rather quickly, and it would soon be made clear that his intention for traveling all that way would manifest itself.
"So this is the city from where my father was banished," he said to himself, taking his first steps into the gigantic metropolis that was Terminus. Life was everywhere in this city, and even at night the streets were beyond crowded with the hustle and bustle of the civilians. Not wishing to seem like an outsider he blended into the crowd, trying to play the part of a normal passerby. He didn't want anyone to catch on to his mixed heritage, especially here out in the open.
Despite it's vast variety of people, cultures, and religious beliefs, the truth was that people of his kind were still viewed as abominations, freaks of nature, and overall mistakes of life in the eyes of the majority of the many citizens here. While it may not have been openly hostile the natural tendency to hate was still there, and so long as that was present he would have a much more difficult time accomplishing what he needed here, unless he would be successfully able to complete his task without being noticed by a crowd.
Taking a turn down a long pathway lined with water passages, roof take off points, and winding stone roads, he made his way down through the sea of people until he came to a less congested area in a backstreet. It was here that a flyer had caught his attention, and it was apparent with the way his eyes almost burned through the wall that it was plastered on.
The contents described a bounty for up to ten thousand Exa for the capture of a former government official. The twisted facial expression he made when he looked up to see the picture of his deceased father on the flyer. It wasn't long ago that his father died of old age, and he had vanished from this city about twenty one years ago before his birth.
"Well I suppose this isn't necessary anymore," he grumbled in disgust ripping the flyer off the wall crumpling it and afterwards tossing it into the nearest trash can. "What an insult to the dead. These bunch of racists have no regard for anyone's interest but their own. One day I'll make them see the error in their judgement, and I will change their perception of our kind like I promised mother and father," he grumbled again with clenched fists.
In his dream he saw it all clearly. He would make the world equal and to do that he had to completely eradicate all sources of division. He would start by knocking off the corrupt officials one at a time, but to manage anything like this required lots of planning, great knowledge, and obscene amounts of power. Making his way deeper into the back street he came to what most without a trained eye would recognize as a dead end. For him however it was the perfect hiding spot.
Making sure that he was alone and that no one had trailed him he opened a hidden door through a password that only he and his allies knew. The door itself was enchanted and was deemed non-existent to outsiders. The only way to open it was through this password. Making his way down a steep corridor as the door shut behind him, he came down a long flight of spiral steps making his way to a second door. This door unlike the first was entirely normal but remained locked for security reasons.
"It's me guys. Open the door," the reptilian looking man called out. It didn't take to long before he was met by a fellow Spurii. She was considerably smaller than him, and was a cross between Laicar and Velen heritage in contrast of his mixed heritage, which consisted of a cross between Enlil and Velen blood. She had sky blue skin, long flowing hair, and a lovely smile. Happy that the male had returned she let him in without question.
The room he found himself in was obscenely large, decorated with many glass ornaments, and precious metals. And at the very back was even a makeshift bar, and a series of tables and chairs were lined up with a large speaker stand at the center overlooking all of it.
"Welcome back Apollyon!" she beamed with joy. "It's been such a long time since I last saw you! What brings you to Terminus?" she inquired curiously.
"Hey now, let the man relax a bit before we start asking so many questions Aria," a voice called from behind a makeshift bar. Lifting himself up from his cleaning a Demvir poked his head over the counter in complete content as his creator's son had now appeared before him. Apollyon made his way over to the nearest bar stool and sat down, Aria quickly taking a seat next to him while he removed his desert overcoat.
His grey half-scaled, and half-feathered skin giving a sort of glow in the dim room with the light reflecting off of his body. "Well Draco I don't think there is any harm in the little lady being eager about my travels. If anything I'm glad since she is the only other person I know besides myself who enjoys the stories regarding them," he said with a warm smile.
"So what is your reason for being here then young master," Draco asked, his metallic hands clasped together in interest.
"Oh that is an easy one," Apollyon replied. "I'm here to find a certain someone, than we're going to track down a Nostrum," he added casually. His proclamation was a huge one indeed but considering the history behind Nostrums was capturing one even possible? Both Aria and Draco now had extreme looks of concern.
"That's just insane!" Aria shouted in fear of Apollyon's safety. "How could you possibly be able to find one, and even if you did how would you even be able to approach it?!" she said now standing up with worried hazel eyes.
"With all do respect young master I don't believe that the ability to take on such a monstrosity is even conceivable. This is all outside the side of caution, and that isn't you," the machine spoke with a stern voice.
"Isn't there any other way for you to carry on your plan without getting yourself killed?!" Aria tried to reason.
Apollyon didn't seem phased in the slightest. He already had something planned in advance for that, but for now he didn't need to go into detail about it. Telling them now would only put them in harms way with the federal authorities of this region. Besides his success all hinged on his accomplices preparations for such a conflict. All he had to do was arrange all of the data previously collected, and gather it into a file. They would use this knowledge to their advantage later.
"Look I know you guys may not like it, but the only way this is going to work is if I manage to get my hands on a demon powerful enough to handle multiple forces all it's own. If I don't have that then I can't expect to overthrow this corrupt government. You'll both just have to trust me on this one so until I return I don't want a word of this spoken understood," he said with a quiet authority. The two looked as if they had their doubts, but reluctantly agreed.
"Well then I suppose I will gather the materials necessary for your journey," Draco noted, heading into the back to find supplies. Meanwhile Aria drooped her head somewhat saddened by the measures that he had to take to make the world a better place for them. Understanding her anxiety Apollyon held onto her tightly, tenderly stroking her head, his voice soothing like that of the moonlight outside.
"Don't worry Aria. I promise that I'll come back in one piece and when I do I can end this nightmare for our people and begin a new era for us in Araevis starting with the capital city of Terminus," the hybrid said with a toothy grin.
And with that all was set in motion, the wheels of fate were now spinning, and the future of Terminus was bound to experience change whether it be through another catastrophe, or vice versa. Either way if it was the last thing Apollyon did he would leave a mark on this world that would forever change it. But would history view him as this region's stigma, or would he be known as his own legendary enigma?
Only time would tell....
