Q: Are players all starting out at 1k, or are HD stats carrying over?

Players that start within the first two months of Post Terminus will get 1500 latens to start with instead of 1000. It's still a requirement to choose at least 4 novice skills, but the bonus 500 latens can be used for 2 more skills or saved for later. Stats will not transfer over, however.

Remember when starting out that we'll still have 2nd PCs if you wanted to divide up your skills between multiple characters.

One thing I'm noticing in the applications already submitted is, although it's understood and clear that we'll get 1,500 Latens, as opposed to the normal 1,000, we're seeing some people putting down 1,000 Vigor regardless of whether they've accepted or spent the full 1,500 Latens. My question is which is correct?

Do we receive 1,000 Vigor and the 1,500 Latens? Or is that apart of the bonus incentive, allowing us to have both 1,500 Vigor and Latens?

This is actually the default for all new players submitting their application, and so the bonus latens that we early starters get isn't reflected unless you edit the post after submission.

EDIT: You should have at least 1,000 vigor with 500 latens because you're an early starter. If you picked up 6 skills you'd have 0 latens.

Maybe I don't understand your answer properly. What I'm referencing is below,

Ex.

Vigor: 1,000
Latens: 1,500 (zero after you select your skills and edit your post to add the two additional skills or reflecting anything not spent)

or

Vigor: 1,500
Latens: 1,500 (again, zero after spent)

I guess my question refers specifically to the Vigor aspect.

Edit: Or for an actual example Hare, look at your app and then look at Hiren's or Shade's. You have 500 less Vigor than they do starting out, which could be reserved for a 2nd PC but I want to make sure I understand the standard since I'm starting with 1 character.

EditEdit:

Vigor: This is the measure of your character's total endurance and inner strength. Most techniques draw from Vigor. Points earned from writing increase this stat. New PCs begin with 1,000 Vigor. Characters created during the first 2 months of PT's opening will be granted an additional 500 Vigor

Nevermind, this was covered in the sticky's in the app submission thread, sorry I thought I checked there already.
