Reiatsu: 40,000
Rage: 8,000
Ability: 30,000
Sonido: 2,000
Emptiness: 25,000

A hollow that towers above its prey on ten long, thin, spider-like legs. The center of the creature is a mass of brainy tissue covered in chitinous, razor-sharp bone plates. The mask is hidden somewhere deep inside, using a powerful mental domination on hollows, shinigami, everything.

Hunters
-Senesati Anenokoji (Code of the Noble)
-Arano (Seraph)
-Ulchalothe (Tetsujin)

The dull rumbling of massive feet might have been what drew him there. It might've been the unmistakeable sounds of panic, or the almost squelching energy that washed over the entire city district. Yet, that hardly mattered anymore.

He was here now, and he was stumped as to how something this large could've gotten so far into the city without any notice. Plainly put, the damn thing was massive.

Ten legs, each about as thick as a tree trunk and dotted with what he could only guess to be spines and armour supported the body of the creature. Unmistakeably, the monster looked to be a massive spider, the only problem being one thing: no mask.

That alone stumped him; what Nightmare had no mask? The energy was unmistakeable, but there was something off about this one. Something that nagged in the back of his mind, that almost compelled him to move yet closer to the beast. It had been easily ignored from afar, but every step brought the whisper from its almost inaudible influence into a roaring demand.

He shoved the invading presence from his mind, his own thanatoresonance seeping from his form as he took it in. Ciro wouldn't be around for a good long time, Zakki and Masato wouldn't be able to help him take this thing down, and hell if he knew where Aragon was.

Plainly put, this was a problem.

[234/234]

Words. So many words. They were the many.

Rain rain go away come again another day.

It had come out of nowhere, a soft rumble beneath their feet. When it had finally subsided, leaving them dazed in the streets like mice dropped in a maze, they thought that it was finally over. Then the sirens, the loud incessant blaring. Many were caught unaware, those last precious moments of their lives spent in dazed elation at their momentary safety. Some of them tried to run, tried to find higher ground. But their efforts were unsuccessful. Others simply waited. Against the mighty hand of death, even the strongest men could crumble into ash.

Then it came in a single wave. And they were all gone.

They moved as one now. Thousands of legs marching in disjointed unison, the click-clack of feet touching the ground the only sound they could begin to comprehend over the roar of the water. Even after a month, it was all they could hear, all they could remember.

Mothers and fathers cried out for their children, reached for their hands with immolated, rotting fingers. Lovers held each other in the musk. Children chased after their fleeing dogs. They were all just silhouettes against the light, unwilling to be the ones to go.

There were no thoughts audible above the waves, only terror, only fear, only the fervor of life’s final crushing moments.

And so they moved, marching ever on and on to the war drum of eternally rushing water. Trees crunched beneath their feet like loose blades of grass.

There was so much pain, pain that had to be shared.

Tens of thousands of voices rising on the wind, letting their collective pain and misery be known to all that would hear them out.

And still, only the roar of the wave.

[304/304]

The screaming roar that occupied his mind beckoned to him, but he continued to put it out of mind, his own conditioning accustomed to beings poking about in his mind. For now, it was time to get an estimate. However strong this thing's armour was, the indigo-haired teen would have to know how far to extend himself to bypass it. That being said, it was time to get the damn thing's attention.

In an instant, the roaring had silenced within his mind, drowned in the flood of energy that ensued. Energy hued the same color as his hair, and streaked with the dark manipulation that tainted his soul, it ebbed and flowed as the tide from the shores. Feeling the ground beneath him smoulder and blacken with the intensity of the energy, Arano further increased the concentration and called upon his abysmal abilities.

Marrow, grisly yellow and mingled with blood (he sacrificed subtlety for speed with the full animation of the gore) shot from his wrist, winding itself like a twisted tree root around his hand. It was but a moment before the concoction had been finished, leaving the marrow hand-gun that he so favoured in combat in its place.

As the massive concentration of energy finally receded, it instead became focused into the barrel of the demented firearm. With a thought, a wave, and a twitch, a single pellet of marrow no larger than a hazelnut had been launched.

Launched at speeds that an ordinary bullet would've envied, and whistling with energy as it rocketed towards the distracted beast with all intention of plugging itself into the joint of one of its legs.

All this spiritual, magical mumbo-jumbo is just gibberish to the average Advent Human. Following the immortal logic behind "if it bleeds, it can be killed," an AH adheres to the similar mantra, "if I can hit it, I can break it." By infusing 500 reiatsu into their limbs or a weapon, this attack adds twice that amount of damage to any barrier.

Only one barrier-breaking attack can be used per round.

|Shikaka Ri|
The once painful and slow process of creating weapons from Arano’s Awakening has begot a near mastery of it, allowing him to creating weapons from his own body. The resilience of the weapon's durability is determined by the reiatsu infused into it, and the speed at which these bones are created/launched is decided by his combat stat. The shape of these weapons is crude at best, but so long as Arano’s reiatsu can supplement it then a rough imitation of just about any weapon can be made.

The costs of the created weapons is dependent upon the size of the construct, allowing for a projectile weapons to be made at the cost of 1% reiatsu. Shikai sized items (6’ x 4’) cost 3% reiatsu, and bankai sized items (15’ x 10’) cost 5% reiatsu. If he so wishes, he may use a higher paying cost to increase the resilience of a smaller item.

Senesati sat on a sturdy wooden bench in peaceful area of the park, reading a newspaper near a large pool of water. In the center of the pool, two stone angels acted as a centerpiece, spouting water from the palms of their hands.

Finally a moment of peace, he thought, straightening the newspaper as he placed his left leg over his right.

“Hmm, there is a book sale just a few blocks away from here. Haru did mention something about wanting some more literature near the dinning area. Perhaps I can pick up something for this... collection.”

The nobleman heard a faint sound in the distance. Accompanying that, he felt a couple strong reiatsu presences. One was definitely hollow, the other seemed human.

“So much for peace and quiet,” he said in disappointment, placing the newspaper aside and pushing himself from his gigai.

His eyebrows narrowed slightly. How could I allow myself to miss a spiritual pressure of this size?

He then vanished into a flash step.

NOTE: Sorry for the delay. My hard drive exploded and this loaner computer sucks. If this turn is unclear, just PM me or what not.

There were faces in the shadows, thousands of them locked, eyes open, mouths frothing over with sea foam. Rotting bodies washing ashore, facial features eaten away by a month at sea. Men, women, children, the elderly, the wave was undiscriminating in taking its victims.

They moved ever aimlessly forward, one thought alone residing in the same high peak as the agony tearing them apart. Share the pain.

But then a pop and a piercing pain rippling through their leg altered their course. Pain. Pain that had to be shared. Falling forward, leg torquing forward as its joint tore open in a grisly splash of green.

A thousand voices echoed the agony in unison, the force of the collective’s pain so great that the buildings around it buckled as if they were attempting to get up and flee from it.

Stumbling, heaving forward, they began to change course. Someone did not feel their pain, did not want their pain.

The mangled leg hung limply as they moved now, dead and oozing acidic blue fluids down onto the blank faced drones below. They were all together now, all linked as one, all linked through their pain. Thousands of once living souls, fused together into one, they were a mob, awash with pain and fear, determined to add any who did not empathize, who did not know what they did, to their ever burgeoning ranks.

[232/536]

That is no normal hollow, thought the dignified captain as he peered down at the squid-faced beast. The creature was of human size, but appeared in monster form, yet he was not on the level of a Vasto Lorde.

“So this is the creature I sensed?” he said amongst himself. Now what of the other presence? he thought, surveying the area further.

His sights fell on a young man who stood before the wounded beast. The nobleman decided to spectate the match a bit, unless his presence was discovered prematurely, he aquired the information he sought, or if the human seemed to need his aid earlier than he anticipated. It was not everyday a shinigami would encounter a mortal that could stand on par with a captain class shinigami in terms of raw power, but Senesati wanted to see what both he and this creature were capable of.

He unsheathed his blade and chanted as he passed his hand over the polished steal, “My fury extends to my brother. Let him strike down the enemy I cannot. Bakudou Forty-six, Ningyō Tsukaiken; Pseudo Blade.”

The blade of Ouritsu Tatsujin emitted a pale blue aura as it absorbed the prepared spells.

[201/371]

A grand tide of bodies washed around him. Grasping, pulling, tearing, ripping, dragging. Without a thought, another pulse of energy sent them sprawling backwards, and it was only a moment before he had launched himself towards the nearest building.

His feet carried him far up the vertical surface, far enough to make a ninja's jaw drop. It was only as he reached the pinnacle of the roof that he leapt off, sending him soaring into the hollow at breakneck speed. More marrow flowed from his pale wrist, dyed crimson with the life fluid that it cost him as it morphed into its new shape. Shaping itself into a pickaxe, the base of which chained to his own arm, it was a simple swing that launched it into the spiked hide of the beast.

The arc was beautiful, sending him swinging directly underneath the Nightmare as he spared another bullet into its carapace.

Sharp pain in their chests. Blinded, dazed, stunned, shocked, they stumbled forward. Why didn’t he understand them? Why did he not feel compassion, why did could he not understand their pain?

Their blood spilled out onto the street, dripping, soaking the concrete like floodwater. What could they do to share with him? How could they let him know?

Hundreds of voices chittering, screaming, moaning with renewed agony. Had to find an arm, had to a tool to use.

Grasping, holding, reaching, they found a tool nearby, a man, a ghost just like them.

We hurt together.

The waves rolled in across the shore.

Teach him. Show him our pain.

[109/645]

Sorry for the delay in the turn. Thanks to my normal computer crashing, I had to write a 20 page research essay in two days. Since that's all settled, I'm back in action.

For a moment it had seemed that Senesati's presence was still unknown to the combatants. That was until he felt a presence of another inside his own being. His left hand began to twitch and shake uncontrollably, almost as if some else was attempting to use it for him.

What's this?! An intrusion? Of my body!? A hostile expression had found itself on the noble's face as he glared at the monster below. This has got to be his doing! thought the noble captain. He realized the monster's presence was not yet strong enough for a full hold over his body and was therefore able to keep his limbs and himself in check. If any time was the right time to join in on a battle, now was the proper time, before he or the unknown human were introduced as enemies.

[141/512]

note
Ok tits as discussed Ulcha is not yet damaged enough to take full control, but apparently he can still manipulate some parts of the body.

The beast had diverted its attention, for whatever reason, but Arano paid it no mind as the rising tide of bodies, a flood of teeming limbs and torsos, once more washed over him in its absolute mass. Pushing, pulling, tearing, ripping, Arano felt his mind slip for a moment in the distress of the moment.

That was all it took.

The beast pounced upon the opening within the cracks, exerting every ounce of its own will against his own. He no longer paid mind to the hands which continued to bruise and batter the experiment's body, his own mind instantly assaulted with what could be called a virus. The slimy presence that was the Nightmare pilfered its way into his mind, with an excruciating amount of lucidity in himself.

Another barrage, a torrent of repressed emotions threatening to consume him. Rage, sorrow, joy, fear, so many voices all vying for his attention. Vying for dominance. He felt himself become nauseous, and it was with a desperate strength that he ripped himself free of the tide, flinging himself into a nearby building as he frantically tried to shake the feelings from his mind.

Dry heaving a few times onto the nearby office floor, Arano felt the insidious presence within his own conscience almost rumble with satisfaction. It was then, that a single emotion was crowned victor over all others, as Arano's panicked mind finally comprehended what had just happened : someone (or in this case, something) had just poked its way into his brain, again.

He felt his rage bubble up, as lava from a volcano as it prepared to erupt into a hellish blaze of ash and fire. The Chairman's eyes inverted instantly, as the snapped chain from which he had descended slid uselessly onto the floor. Plates began to stab their way to the surface, layering themselves onto his arm and legs. In an instant they curved backwards, four pairs of razor sharp blades that curved back and past his elbows and above his knees.

The boy's form rocketed from the building's interior, destroying the floor he had been standing upon as he barrelled into the beast's side, katar-like blades protruding from his palms as he scaled the massive beast.

Everything had the equivalent of a brain. This was just a matter of finding it first.

[387/1047]

Masahashi Yuiichiro was walking home from school when the waves came. He tried to escape before the ocean caught up.

Shoyu Yuuta saw the waves from his second floor apartment. He had nowhere to run.

Kojima Sayaka was on the phone with her boyfriend from New York when the water swept her house away. She never saw it coming.

There were thousands of others, all caught in the same cruel machinations of nature, of death, of the dark hand of the uncontrollable.

Share our pain. Let them know how we feel. Share our pain.

Thousands of hands, cold, rotting in the cold embrace of salt water, reached out towards the unenlightened cur pummelling them with increasing force and brutality. New waves of unabated pain rippled out across the city, ensnaring all caught in its wake.

They struggled to break away, more and more of their limbs, their minds, lashed out at the attacker, pulling at him, ripping, trying to show him what he so desperately needed to see.

Share the pain. Share the pa- The thought came to an abrupt end., thousands of unfinished emotions cut off as if a switch had been turned off and a door had been clamped shut. Collective minds blank, pain numbed into nothingness, they froze. Thousands of extensions of the hive mind rigid and stiff in the streets, the strings of influence that had manipulated them into little more than puppets pulled tight by unseen hands.

A shrill, inhuman laugh cut through the thick, obtrusive silence that had befallen the suddenly static scene, echoing more through the minds of all who still stood than through the quivering air itself. The human interested it. The creature had been watching for sometime, letting the chaos of the stricken city whet its long suppressed hunger.

The last year had not been kind to the destructive being. Much of what it once had was no more. Its master was gone and so was Hueco Mundo as it once knew it. The human would have to fall. It would taste his soul before the night was through. It had been decided.

The air around them shuddered ominously.

Share the pain, they chimed weakly. But they were no longer the ones in charge. Their master was here.

The spindly mass that contained the pained collective of minds, torn to shreds by the human’s vicious attacks gave one last violent tremor as it went airborne, as if lifted by unseen hands. It hovered there, a lifeless mass of spiritual matter, minds taken all at once at its master’s whim. Then it fell back down. When the many legged mass hit the ground, it lost all form, becoming little more than liquid, unquantifiable as if a small sea had been hidden inside it the entire time. A massive wall of water, several meters high, roared out from where it had fallen, inundating, flooding the street, sweeping away cars, trees, lifeless bodies as if they were nothing at all. Chaos reigned above all.

It revealed itself where the dead hive mind had hovered seconds before it had been turned into a tsunami bomb, an indescribable mass, pure, unfiltered malicious intent. Ulchalothe only laughed.

[530/1181]

It came so quick. Waves crashed into buildings, tree, streetlights, and other obstacles. There was little he could do to save them. Those who were caught in the flood were dead from the start. Senesati set his sights on the newcomer. He knew something was odd the moment he laid eyes on the spider-like creature, that it was not the presence he had sensed upon arrival.

"So you are the one I sensed earlier," said the floating nobleman to the laughing monstrousity.

Inundated, overwhelmed, but not for long. The teeming mass of useless flesh would not keep him from destroying the beast that dared bully its way into his mind. A burst of energy, a ripple of power as the razors cut through the flood and granted him a single moment to act.

A moment he wouldn't waste. An instant passed as he oriented himself properly, and another passed before he had kicked off the air, blasting through the downpour of bodies. His powers once more set to work, a massive hilt jutting free from his shoulder as he grunted through the jolt of agony it spawned. He gripped it and with a single swing, it ripped free of his body, the torn and destroyed flesh knitting itself back together perfectly and instantly as the weapon was freed.

The tip of the blade formed with not a single moment left before the full edge of a massive bastard sword was brought to bear against the nearest leg of the beast. His earlier attacks had caused a mild inconvenience, at best.

Now he wanted to see it bleed. Its voice purred in contention, eliciting his scornful glare to deepen as he slipped deeper into his reckless rage.
