Cartography Submissions
A part of writing is creating settings and with our new world map in place, there's also a path for adding locations to that map. In order to get a location added to the map, there are a few things you'll need:
Name: The name, and if appropriate, an associated epithet. For instance, "Oppidum Bulla" is the name, and "the Bubble City" is the epithet.
Coordinates: Using the interactive map found here, locate a spot on the map and click it. This will place a telescope identifying the coordinates where you clicked. To refine the placement, you can click and drag the telescope, as well. It's recommended to use the maximum zoom to get the most accurate placement.
Link (Optional): If there's a thread or post for your location, like Oppidum Bulla, the Bubble City, include it. Users that click the icon on the map will be directed here.
Icon (Optional): There are some default icons for points of interest or settlements, but if you want a custom icon, put it here. An icon must be a PNG with transparency. Many of the current icons were procured from 4131 free SVG and PNG icons for your games or apps | Game-icons.net
