Rarely do spiritual beings get a moment of peace, especially when there is a lot happening in the corner, wherever they may be. However, it is their choice whether to let the others do it, or grab the opportunity to gain some spiffy rewards. These rewards are different, depending on the organization the participant is involved in.

Unlike the Tsuika Ryoukin where the bounties are considered incidental, faction missions are specifically assigned to a person (or a group of people) to accomplish. As such, they are given enough time to prepare and choose their team before heading out. It is the participants' decision whether to do these missions in a closed collab or an open one, but please do update us with your progress if you're doing it in a closed collab.

To be eligible for an award, there must be at least two participants, whether a PC or an NPC, depending on the number of people required by a mission. Please put to mind that division mission systems have different rules, thus each of them may have different requirements and grounds for rewards. Some may deduct rewards purely on Collateral Damage (if it involves a fight), or some may deduct for the more minute details that have not been accomplished. By the same token, rewards can be based depending on how successful it is— mission-wise and writing-wise.

In the case of failure, it is up to the grader (or the captain, such in the 7th division's case) to decide whether they would still like to give a reward, as compensation to the participants, depending on the performance and output of the mission. Failure will not guarantee that the target will become stronger the next time it is encountered, but be aware of the consequences that the failure might entail— some of these will have little no to consequences, but some of these might leave a property or lives taken; at most, even the security and secrecy of one's territory.

SUBMISSIONS

If you want to submit a mission, PM it to me with the details. Division missions usually have a specific format for their own missions, so it shouldn't be hard to determine which details are needed for a submission. If you can't make up a title or a tier to stash it in, don't worry about it— chances are, if the tier is deemed too high or low for the actual mission, it may end up placed on a different tier. Also, if you're not applying it for a specific division, it can be applied for a specific faction and fall under the 'unclassified' missions.

TAKING MISSIONS

If you're taking a mission from the lists below, please PM me with the name of the participants along with the mission so that I'll know which ones are taken. Also, if you post the thread up, please post the mission details somewhere on the first post so that we'll know.

EXTRA REWARDS

Extra rewards are up to the division overseer to decide, as mentioned above. Although the graders may hand out the kan/credit award, the extra awards (such as extra items, bounty points, or redemption) must be given by the division's overseer, whether it be the captain or the authorized vice captain (or those similar in rank, in the case of Advent Humans). To notify them of a completed mission that needs these awards, send them a PM with the mission details as well as the link to the finished mission so that they can read it and give those rewards accordingly.

Seventh division
Enforced Criminal Service

Like the other divisions, the Seventh division has missions for its own men, with the purpose of garnering a reward and to accomplish a task. However, unlike the other divisions where rewards are either material or monetary, members in the Seventh fulfill missions to gain a different kind of merit-- Redemption. In accomplishing a mission, there is a set number of years that may be lessened from their original sentence, until such time that a member can gain freedom. While there is a limit to the number of years removed, the actual number of years removed and for what basis is still left to the discretion of the grader.

Light sentences of 10-50 years for infractions do not require a mission to gain redemption. 10 years equates to one week of writing, while 50 years equates to two weeks of writing.

MISSION TIERS

S Class // 2,500 years
These missions are considered certain death by most. Many would never even consider going for these missions. Only the strongest members of the Seventh stand a chance of actually completing them, and must go through the captain to gain permission before even attempting them.

A Class // 1,000 years
These missions, while extremely difficult, can be completed by some of the higher ranked officers. Lower officers might have a small modicum of success as well, but only in a group of people.

B Class // 500 years
The average difficulty mission for the Seventh. These missions, while hard for some, are not too much of a chalenge for those that are at Tenth seat or above. Lower seated officers, or even unseated, might be assigned to accompany their superiors to provide support.

C Class // 250 years
The first missions considered extremely dangerous. These are missions that some have failed at and perished. These are the initiation missions, if you will, as you must complete at least one of these to be allowed to participate in the higher ranked missions.

D Class // 100 years
These missions are not all that suicidal in nature, These are actually enforced labor, if anything. These missions entail working along with other divisions, basically as test subjects for their uses. A perfect example would be as a test subject for the Ninth divisions research, the Fourth Divisions new healing techniques, or the Twelfth division as training for tracking a target.

MISSIONS

S-Class

Down with the Hunter!

There is a criminal loose, and his methods are extremely well-planned. The person was known to kidnap shinigami and seal their powers while keeping them under his custody. The exact location of his headquarters is unknown since he seems to transfer his base at irregular intervals, but there had been an increased number of shinigami disappearances in Castille, Spain as of late.

Capture the head honcho and bring him back to Seireitei as much as possible, but the participants may choose to kill him if capture proves impossible. Destroy his headquarters and rescue any remaining shinigami within the vicinity. Be careful, their eyes are on you!

Nothing is known about him, except for his codename 'Noir'.

Employer RPer: Two members from the Twelfth
Target RPer: Panda Narwhal

Selling A Curse

A previous line of missions from the Twelfth led them to a strange affair in Rukongai, and with the aid of the Fourth, they have elevated the urgency of this finding to be a pressing matter than needs to be dispelled... as soon as possible! The interrogation with previous captives revealed that certain merchants from Rukongai had been wary of the danger the items' effects, and they too are vying to retrieve the items. These articles (usually cosmetic) do, in some way, inflict harm by physically incapacitating the victim in some way, usually by one of their senses, and on more unfortunate situations, all of their senses.

Further investigation has led to a speculation that most of these items are released in order to distract the people from the real trail of their assault, which, without doubt, is going closer to the First district at a straight pace. While most of the victims do not have a reason, some babbles about having known something, but are now unable to share it due to their impediment. If there is anything clear, it is that the perpetrators of the release of these items sought to conceal important information.

Their identities and intentions are unknown, but the more pressing issue is that they must be caught, due to the damage they've already inflicted on the safety of Rukongai's citizens. Due to the alarm that they have raised, they have gone slower in their movements-- specifically, one district a month. Their last whereabouts indicated their presence on the Sixth district.

Employer RPer: Anyone from the 12th
Target RPer: Panda Narwhal
A-Class

Seek and Destroy

In order to prevent the continuation of Noir's activities, there is a pressing need to destroy all his other headquarters in different parts of the world. The mission objective is simple: find those headquarters and destroy them. Rescue all the remaining shinigami if possible. A caution, however: the caretakers of those headquarters may not give up the base without a fight.

Note: This is an extension of 'Down with the Hunter!', but a different member may take the mission, as long as there is at least one participant from the previous mission present here. Also, since the 'kidnapper' has many sub-headquarters around the world (including the one previously destroyed), this mission can be taken multiple times, in different locations.

For Rules or for Principles

Reports came regarding a certain shinigami that needs to be apprehended... with your help! The certain individual is elusive and strong, making him quite the difficult person to capture alone. However, that is not the problem. The shinigami is of a clean background, having no criminal record prior to current time, and at the same time, has been known to be a simple-minded woman. However, the complex murder that she allegedly masterminded had irrefutable evidence pointing to her.

Rumors had been flying around the Seventh's staff that this woman might have been a set up. However, that is not for you to decide. You have two choices: to bring the individual in question to be incarcerated, or to prove her innocence by bringing her back for formal questioning and bringing the real culprit behind the murders.

A Stone's Peril

A rather unfortunate human has gained access to a rather special stone – something comparable to Seireitei’s bloodstone. The gem itself holds remarkable reiatsu negation powers, thus rendering it rather impossible to destroy. A lot of black market merchants are going after this human, in an attempt to seize the stone from him. Unfortunately, since it negates his powers, he could not defend himself from his pursuers. Recent reports indicated that aside from the rumble of normal black market customers, competition for its ownership had become fiercer, causing deaths from some of the more desperate pursuants.

Your task is to retrieve this item from him and hide it wherever it can be safely declared as ‘irretrievable’ – of course, while limited by the gem’s powers and without getting yourself killed.
B-Class

Blood and Beer Don’t Mix

An ex-convict from the Seventh seemed to have forgotten the agony of being imprisoned within Seireitei’s walls – he was worse than what he was previously imprisoned for. He used to be a hefty thief, but now he seemed to be a reckless murderer who randomly goes to a killing spree whenever he is under the influence of liquor. A murderer in the night, a pedophile in the morning.

Convicts are tasked to head out to the 52nd district in the North and bring him back to the Seventh... with you. The target is fairly proficient with his sword, and it might be a good idea to take it away from him. Also, although he is strong, he is in no way insurmountable.

Note: It can be taken solo, or with a pair.

Fragments of a Failure, Phase 2

Some may remember the time when the Research and Development tried to make modified souls, a konpaku, to be more specific. It is long thought that all of the konpaku candies were gone. Well, it seemed like someone took ahold of the last candy and tried to reproduce it! They have not been involved in jail-worthy activities, but they are known to cause trouble to normal civilians. They have developed a fairly calm demeanor, but they seem to display a highly erratic behavior when a shinigami is present within the vicinity.

They seemed to take a liking on German schools, and are able to mingle perfectly with the students— yet they keep messing on Seireitei’s radars (as well as denreishinki, when their reiatsu are activated) and it is about time that the shinigami return them to what they should be. To date, there are ten shinigami whose gigai were stolen by these konpaku (or rather, someone must have forced the gigai’s owner to ingest it) and it is up to you to return the gigai to the nearest gigai warehouse and destroy the candies.

Note: This mission requires a Gokontekkou.

Technological Advancement

Who thought that even Rukongai would be technologically competent? Not much, but apparently, these underground organizations do! No one knows where the network of underground organizations managed to smuggle their equipment from, but it's definitely anti-shinigami! Several of these little box-like contraptions were found in random spots around the Eighth to Tenth districts, and while they appear to be completely harmless, the little objects have done well to interfere with other means of technological communication (such as the denreishinki) by sending false information. Not only objects, but anything reiatsu-related, to be more precise. Most reiatsu-activated objects fail to activate, and most reiatsu-infused techniques or attacks tend to go haywire.

And while it does amuse most of the villagers, it's definitely a nuisance to shinigami who needs to accomplish their mission in the specified districts. The mission is to confiscate these items, and bring several of its distributors for questioning.

The mission can be accomplished solo, or with a partner.

A Felon in Heels

Ever thought fashion was only for show? Not for this one, most definitely. Our Milan shinigami patrols had been killed by this particular beauty, with her fashion articles as her favorite weapons. Reports indicated that each item she wears is technologically modified, and while no notable things were known about her identity (she prefers to keep her accessories and tonloads of make up on, unfortunately), the report had at least included one significant thing-- the presence of a zanpakutou.

The task is to bring back the woman to Seireitei and have her face the consequences of her actions. Reinforcements will be sent after to aid you in bringing back the items in her apartment-- we'd rather not have other people copy her fashion style.

This mission can be accomplished solo, or with a partner from another division.

These missions are broken up into three categories: Solo, Companion, and Brigade. From there the missions are broken up into four tiers: A, B, C, & D. A tier is rated on difficulty; A being the highest, more difficult task, while D is a lower rate task for unseated members and new recruits to take to get the hang of things.

The more difficult the task, the more kan to be paid out. Much like Tsuika Ryoukin (Bounties & Rewards) thread, there are instances where kan will be deducted such as; collateral damage & not completing the mission on time. Distribution of Kan is the same as Tsuika Ryoukin, where the target Rper will receive an equal amount of Kan as the involved PC's. If the reward is 500, each shinigami gets half (250), then the target Rper will also receive 250 Kan. The grader will distribute the Kan.

Note: This is not grading, kan will only be detracted if there is collateral damage or if the mission is a flop, which then the mission will remain and the Eighth will then dispatch someone else to complete the mission (if applicable), but the Rper's will still get points (grade wise).

Solo
Solo missions involve a closed collaboration between two players (the target Rper and the 8th PC). Kan rewards range from 100-250 in this area.

Companion
Companion missions normally involves an open or closed (at players discretion) collaboration between three players (two PC's and the target Rper). Kan rewards range from 275-500 in this area.

Brigade
Brigade mission are more complex and usually involves at the minimum of four or more participants. Occasionally there might be two target Rper's and two PC's involved. This will vary depending on the content of the mission. Kan rewards range from 600-1250 in this area.

A-tier

Chaotic Retention :: Brigade
Target RPer: Code of the Noble + 1 more
Number of Participants: 5

Mission Brief: Recent reports indicate that there has been suspicious activity in the Material World. Vales McNamara of McNamara Technologies, has conducted research on spiritual beings (Hollows) and has moved that study further to discover the existence of Soul Reapers. The assignment is to apprehend the man, retrieve the documentation concerning Soul Reapers, and mind wipe the target. This will not be an easy task. Vales is an extremely wealthy man with powers unlike ordinary humans, not to mention heavily guarded by other humans with similar powers. He is an asset in the world of technology, therefore, no harm is to come to Vales, but should anyone else interfere, they are to be eradicated with extreme prejudice.

You will begin your mission by intercepting the man before he reaches his destination and reveals his findings to anyone else. Choose your team members wisely...

Alien Research :: Brigade ~ Taken by Katie, Tom and Doc
Target RPer: Amaryllis
Number of Participants: 5

Mission Brief: Humans researching about the existence of shinigami are bad enough, and it is even worse when they imbue apply their findings to confuse the shinigami radars! In Northern Russia where the population is scarce and the environment is harsh, there appears to be a sort of experimentation laboratory where inventors feast on robotic research and try to imbue it with powers that, although different in nature, feels like a reiatsu—indistinct as it were in regards to classification. Their organization’s details are already shady as it is, which would definitely make this mission harder for its participants. The last reports however, indicate that there might be a transport of their samples to Moscow for a final testing. Infiltrate this transport and destroy the main headquarters. Apprehend the human and have him rehabilitated.

A warning though, the headquarters is guarded with high-end technological security, as well as humans possessing extraordinary powers. The more you reveal about your powers, the more these security systems will be manipulated to catch instead of killing you.

B-tier

Diamonds and Pearls :: Companion
Target RPer: (Mitsu Togashi, Hiraku Iruka,& Hiren)
Number of Participants: 3

Mission Brief: A shop in Western Seireitei has been raided 3 times in the last several months. The information leaked to the shop owner that the burglar will strike again. As a member of the Eighth you are to survey the shop and make sure to leave no corner unchecked and no stone unturned in your attempt to guard the shop and bring down the thief. Many delicate items and gems will be damaged if a fight breaks out inside the shop, use as little brute force as necessary. A Peacekeeper will accompany you during this mission. Disguises may also work to your favor.

At Peace :: Brigade
Target RPer: Amaryllis
Number of Participants: 4

Mission Brief: A surge of uncontrolled reiatsu was felt somewhere on the Thirty-sixth district in West Rukongai. Reports indicated that the reiatsu’s owner is a mere teenager, who has no idea of what he had experienced, yet it seemed detrimental to those around him. He cannot go to the Shinoreijutsuin due to a severe case of polio, plus the fact that he was left to manage their small vegetable shop.

Documents indicate that the reiatsu of this boy is at least at vice-captain level, and his powers appeared to be completely strange as well. Many people failed this mission not because they were too weak, but because the boy’s power seemed to centralize on making reiatsu-bearing individuals to forget their affairs with him. Not only is it affecting their business, it also made it harder for anyone to pull him to Seireitei.

It is your task to bring him to the Shinoreijutsuin, and explain to his family about your concerns

C-tier

The Prettiest Kind of Failure :: Solo
Target RPer: Giesel (Amaryllis’ NPC)
Number of Participants: 2

Mission Brief: The target believes that mastery if kidou includes mastery over the output—even at failure, the caster must be able to manipulate their output. Every shinigami learned that every error in the incantation has its corresponding failure conditions, and this is what Giesel wants you to do—to make an error yet still execute a successful kidou.

Morning Vampire :: Solo
Target RPer: (anyone who wants to take this role)
Number of Participants: 2

Mission Brief: A new shinigami has entered the ranks of the Eighth, but he is acting quite suspiciously. For one, he appears to be very inquisitive with the way Seireitei works, especially those intricate details that are lost into rumors when it reaches Rukongai. His actions indicate that he might be a spy for an organization in Rukongai, but his affiliation is unknown.

He goes by the name 'Shigeru Gizuka'. Find out more details about him, preferably his real affiliation, as well as his intentions for entering the Eighth. He might not be as easy to break down, so it requires a lot of investigative effort other than just asking around and facing him. Reports also indicate that he is abroad recruit level, so you might want to investigate about that too.

D-tier

Of Might and Magic :: Solo
Target RPer: (8th and 1st Division PC’s only)
Number of Participants: 2

Mission Brief: Become familiar with your weakness in combat and learn to defend against some of the finest demon art casters.

This is a training exercise for both divisions. To give the Sword-mage some practice in combat with utilizing their division techniques as well as helping the Arcane specialist harness their skills and work on areas of opportunity with casting spells.

Smooth Talk :: Solo
Target RPer: (a shinigami from any division who isn’t fond of kidou)
Number of Participants: 2

Mission Brief: Some shinigami aren’t too convinced that kidou is a useful tool in combat, and at some cases, some shinigami even fears kidou. As someone who includes kidou in their specialties, it is up to you to convince the person regarding kidou as a combat asset.

Hollow-find? :: Companion
Target RPer: (8th & 3rd Division PC’s + Hollow)
Number of Participants: 3

Mission Brief: Assist the Hollow Suppression Specialist with obtaining his/her memento from their hollow of choice.

Lost Boy :: Companion
Target RPer: (8th PC + ??? + ???)
Number of Participants: 3

Mission Brief: A request came to the Eighth from a family which is housed in a Southern part of Seireitei. It was a report of a missing child, a new spirit, that is new to the Soul Society and its inhabitants. He was last seen near a campsite where the family went out to enjoy some quality time together. The next morning, he went missing. There was a rumor the kid was kidnapped for ransom.

The mission is simple: Locate the boy, earn his trust, and bring him home safely.

Tracking and Assassination

Unlike Tsuika Ryoukin, which sends people to track and purify a hollow, these are tracking and assassination hunts. Note that the Twelfth’s Bounty Missions will also now give Kan along with Bounty Points. The 12th bounties are supposed to be harder than the other bounties, because some difficult missions come with greater consequences should you fail the mission.

In order to qualify for the bounty payout, there must be at least two players involved, with a maximum of four. It is expected for at least two players to go on each hunt, however, so going solo will make things more difficult. Players must also watch out for Shutsuge Kiryou, "Collateral Damage Deduction.” The more damage that the fight causes to the surrounding area, the less you will be paid in Kan for a kill. Bounty Points will be based on how you did, as well as how efficient you complete the mission. The writer of the target will receive an equal amount of Kan as the hunters, but not Bounty Points. The grader will hand out Kan (this is not grading, exactly—they only detract points if there is collateral damage) when they grade the collab. The person presently overseeing the 12th will hand out the bounty points for the 12th members. You have until the 3rd Saturday, from time you accept the mission in order to reap the rewards. Any mission completed beyond such time will net you nothing.

Missions are broken up into five tiers: S, A, B, C, & D.
A tier is rated on difficulty; S being the highest, more difficult task, while D is a lower rate task.

S-Rank (20,000 + Reiatsu)
Reward: 1500 Kan & 750 Bounty Points

To Kill a Demon
Target RPer: Several Zombies
Number of Participants: 3+
Mission Brief: A string of bizarre and gruesome murders in the Human World attributed to the "Ginza Demon” has proven to been far more than a simple serial killings. In addition to the human victims, all of whom were spiritually awakened, a number of Shinigami have been slain at the hand of this deranged individual. It is up to the 12th to find the murderer and bring him to justice.

Acceptance Notes: The number of slayings attributed to this individual demands nothing less than death. Use any means nessesary to bring the killer down.
Victory Condition: Kill the "Ginza Demon” and return with proof of his death.
Failure Condition: Failure to either kill the target or acquire proof of the target's death.

A-Rank (15,000 - 20,000 Reiatsu)
Reward: 1000 Kan & 500 Bounty Points

An Immense Sacrilege
Target RPer: Amaryllis
Number of Participants: 3

Mission Brief: There had been mysterious deaths at Mount Fuji, where tourists are aplenty to see and feel the holy mountain’s beauty. However, its manner of killing and patterns are unknown, which renders the Japanese police to respond efficiently, and gives the victims an element of surprise. Due to those murders, less people had been coming to visit the mountain, and the ambient hollow-like reiatsu had been growing stronger and stronger with every wave of murder that occurs in the mountain.

Acceptance Notes: Acquire at least some evidence to work on and survive.
Victory Condition: Killing the target is the primary objective of the mission, but if the target proves too strong for the participants, any substantial information about the target should suffice. Also, since it is a tourist spot and a revered mountain of Japan, the destruction of the mountain should be kept at a minimum.
Failure Condition: Failure to kill the target, collect some evidence or destroy too much of the mountain (if ever a fight ensues).

How Do They Work?
Target RPer: Voice of Cthulhu
Number of Participants: 3+
Mission Brief: When two shinigami of noble birth went missing in the hills of Scotland while on a routine hollow hunt, a squad of three assassins was sent to investigate. They, too, have disappeared. Now, three of the Twelfth’s best and brightest must find out what befell their comrades

Acceptance Notes: The father of the missing nobles will accept nothing less than the death of who- or what- ever is responsible for the disappearance of his children, and the Twelfth will want whatever they can find of their comrades.
Victory Condition: Find whatever remains of the shinigami and kill the target.
Failure Condition: Failure to either kill the target or acquire proof of the assassins’ death.

B-Rank (10,000 - 15,000 Reiatsu)
Reward: 600 Kan & 300 Bounty Points

Blind Rage
Target RPer: Code of the Noble
Number of Participants: 3

Many years have passed since the Gotei entered the world of the living and fought the forces of the Sin Qua Non and the Espada. As rumor has it, some say that the SQN were obliterated, that is, until now...

Several Soul Reapers were reported dead over a month’s span of time. Rumor say each of them died by random Hollow encounters. Suspicion raised when the death tally doubled and a few members of the Fourth Division reported similarities in the deaths of each shinigami. From there further research was conducted and they found each member had rope markings engraved into their wrists and feet before they were mutilated.

Shortly after the puzzling discovery a small search team was dispatched, where a single gigai, posing as a shinigami, was used as bait. It has now been confirmed that Hideki Akihiro, a member of the SQN was responsible for these mutilations.

The task to eliminate him is now in the hands of the 12th Division.

Acceptance Notes: You will be deployed to the last known whereabouts of the offender. From there you must hunt him down and eliminate him at any cost. It might help you to select an ally that can complement your ability of stealth and surprise attacks.

Retrieval Operation
Target RPer: --
Number of Participants: 2+
Mission Brief: A low noble's house was infiltrated during the night two weeks past. Although there was no one harmed, it appears as if several of their family heirlooms were stolen. Your task is to bring back the heirlooms in good condition. However, if the thieves are unwilling to surrender it, there might be a need to eliminate him.

Acceptance Notes: The heirlooms must be returned in good condition.
Victory Condition: Bring back the stolen items. Death of the culprit is optional depending on the situation.
Failure Condition: Failure to bring back the heirlooms in good condition.

Selling a Curse
Target RPer: Amaryllis
Number of Participants: Less than five
Mission Brief: In the 9th district of Rukongai, there had been several reports of beauty-product merchants being attacked by a small gang of thieves. Some were killed whenever they tried to failed to surrender their goods, and others were alive simply because they allowed their goods to be taken. The motives behind these attacks are unclear. However, it was quite clear that the first reported attacks of such merchants started on the farther districts. The participants are to apprehend the thieves and find out what they are looking for.

Acceptance Notes: Gain intel on what the 'thieves' are looking for and why they are looking for it.
Victory Condition: Gain intel and have several of their members for further investigation.
Failure Condition: Failure to gain intel about the attacks or getting all of the culprits killed.

Note: Finishing this bounty unlocks other missions.
Finished 12/01/2012

C-Rank (5,000 - 10,000 Reiatsu)
Reward: 400 Kan & 200 Bounty Points

Drowning in the Dark
Target RPer: Tits (7k Rei)

Number of Participants: 3 with Target: Tod (Tod) and Yaname (Mewn)

Mission Brief: A higher Noble's child has run from his service in the soul reapers. He is rebellious AND dangerous, being a veteran assassin. We cannot let him get away with putting this shame on the 12th division. You are to find him by any means necessary, bring him back alive if you can. If you can’t then be ready to explain to the Noble's father why.

Victory Conditions: Find the noble and either bring him back or kill him.
Failure Conditions: Fail to find the noble or let him get away.

Child’s Play
Target RPer: Voice of Cthulhu
Number of Participants: 2+ targets

Mission Brief: Children from all over the Tenth District of Eastern Rukongai have been abducted during these past few months. Find the cause of these disappearances and put a stop to it. Of particular note is the son of esteemed merchant Hota Onkai, who was abducted only last week.

Acceptance Notes: All the children that have been abducted have been male. In the case of siblings, only those without sisters have been taken, and never without their brothers.
Victory Conditions: Rescue all of the children and capture/kill their abductor
Failure Conditions: Over ten children die or Hota’s son perishes.

{ Cerberus Corporation }

As a member of Cerberus Corporation, agents are able to, and are encouraged, to take a variety of missions provided by the company. Ranging across a variety of disciplines, missions are the primary income for agents. Completion of a mission nets the agents involved the rewards listed below.

A Cerberus agent (PC) must be one of the members when taking a mission, though they can call upon the assistance of any NPCs to aid them. Furthermore, the Agent can call upon Vizards allied with the Army of Masks for assistance, though they are ineligible for the rewards.

Vantage Point of Ignorance
Operation Goals:
Infiltrate the Watanabe Contracting Firm

One of the most pervasive examples is the existence of the Watanabe Contracting Firm. In a similar line as the Cerberus Contracting Department, this group is one of the largest competitors in the Tokyo area.

While this mission is much too large to completed at once, the first state of Operations involves the observation and plantation of false travel orders for high ranking members of the company. Agents are tasked to enter and upload the transfer records directly to the mainframe of the Contracting Department. Any identified agents will be considered no longer part of the Corporation for the remainder of the mission, so stealth is required.

Difficulty: Moderate
Rewards: 20,000 Credits, Contraboost, Pyrozac A

Between a Rock
Operation Goals:
Rescue Agent and plant Decoy

In a recent mission to infiltrate a large Taiwanese Research Firm, one of our agents has become compromised. Due to the confidential nature of Cerberus assets, the company has managed to organize an exchange for the agent. An agent of theirs, caught in a mission of their own, is being held in the Tokyo Bay facility.

Through use of the Intrazopan Strain, which will be given to the agents who take this task, the operative is asked to transform their appearance to match the captive and act as a decoy for the exchange. After the exchange, the agents involved must escape once more, eliminating the parties involved if necessary.

Theta Waves
Mission Objective: Subdue Spiritual Threat

A recent influx of attacks in Tokyo's west end has left several people hospitalized, and the Initiative has reason to believe that the perpetrator of these crimes may be an evolved human. In total there have been five victims, each attacked in their homes by an unknown assailant. The locations display no obvious signs of forced entry, and the victims themselves bare no physical evidence of the attacks.

Upon admission to the hospital, the victims were in near-catatonic states, and EEG testing revealed a highly abnormal levels of hippocampal-theta activity; patterns typically associated with dreams or nightmares during deep sleep. Every individual exhibited traces of a human reiatsu signature unique to their own. Investigate the source of this reiatsu and bring the attacker to justice.

Reward: 10,000 Credits, 500 Kan

Beating a Dead Horse
Mission Objective: Destroy Order Prototype

At a secluded Order test site in Kumasi, Ghana, increased activity has been picked up b ya recon team stationed in the region. High-levels of electricity has been drained from the local city power-grid and routed to the facility. Through increased investigation, a new 'Horse' construct, similar to the ones that ravaged Tokyo is under production. This Proto-Horse is a major threat to assets in the area and other branches.

Order operatives are stationed at the base as well, though the exact number of agents present is unknown. Additionally, many of the researchers and staff of the facility are known Advent humans. Extreme Caution is advised.

Rewards: 50,000 Credits

The Economics of Violence
Mission Objective: Crack spiritual smuggling ring

Dangerous 'magic tomes' have been appearing for sale on the black market! While marketed as innocuous and seemingly useless good luck charms by certain purveyors in the Tokyo area, these trinkets are in actuality a form of reiatsu containment. Coined 'kidou scrolls' these objects house highly volatile spells more typically associated with the shinigami.

Formerly, only one group of beings in Tokyo produced these scrolls, but recently there has been an influx of these dangerous weapons on the black Market. As the original manufacturers have disappeared, this is highly suspicious. Locate the source of these new shipments and shut them down.

Rewards: 35,000 Credits, Scroll Cache

From Russia, With Love
Mission Objective: Observe Order Resistance

Pockets of Advents allied with the Order of the White Horse have been spotted congregating in the towns and municipalities surrounding Naydm, Russia. As the city housed the former headquarters of the organization, surviving members gathering here poses a grave security risk.

Current intel suggests that they may be gathering forces for a second attack on Tokyo. Your mission is to covertly survey these camps and assess the potential threat level of the group gathered. Should they be judged as a significant risk to the security of Tokyo, a separate operation will be conducted to eliminate them.

Reward: 25,000 Credits

9130 kHz
Mission Objective: Investigate Mysterious Signal

After reinitializing the Orpheus' global network, Tokyo's Tactical Communications Department began picking up strange signals in the area Northwest of Hausch, Germany. Though the phenomenon colloquially referred to as 'number stations' have not been of any great concern, this particular broadcast appears to be operating on a principle similar to Orpheus' own transmission equipment and is generating a higher than normal amount of ambient reiatsu in the otherwise uninhabited mountain range--causing a large influx of Hollow sightings.

Investigate the source of these signals and if possible, disable the broadcast to avoid any escalation of Hollow attacks.

Note: 'A series of tubes' must be completed before this mission can be undertaken.
Rewards: 20,000 Credits

Let's Talk About You and Me
Mission Objective: Escort Target to Tokyo

Recent information on the kidnapping of a high-level Orpheus weapons manufacturer has been reported to the Tokyo Branch. The hostage has been traced to a Order of the White Horse base a few miles off-shore of Hong Kong.

The mission is simple in theory, retrieve the target without harm being done to them. Due to the delicate nature of the base, agents are advised to use caution and stealth when entering the base, as arousing the attention of the occupants of the facility could cause unwanted consequences.

Rewards: 10,000 Credits

This End Makes the Loud Noises
Mission Objective: APACHE weapons test

The head weapon smith of APACHE, Takeshi Nagano, is looking for a spry young agent to help him field test an experimental weapon design he's been working on! All that's required of the candidate is to use the weapon in a combat scenario so Takeshi can gather data.

Keep in mind that these weapons are experimental in nature and may act unpredictable! Mr. Nagano, as well as APACHE, cannot be held liable in the event of electrocution, incineration, dismemberment, defenestration or any other injury that may arise from the use of untested weaponry!

Please sign on the dotted line!

Reward: 10,000 Credits

A Series of Tubes
Mission Objective: Reinitialize S.I.R.E.N. Network

With Orpheus' funding renewed, the Acting General has seen fit to reinitialize the organizations. S.I.R.E.N. relays scattered across the globe in an effort to consolidate the Initiative's information network. Additionally, bringing the S.I.R.E.N. network online would allow Orpheus to reconnect with any fringe groups that have remained operational after the fall of Tokyo.

It should be noted however, that some of these relays have been commandeered by the Order, and all of them-- due to the nature of their transmissions-- are potential hot spots for Hollow activity.

Rewards: 5,000 Credits, SIREN Upgrade

Cryptozoology 101
Mission Objective: Eradicate Hollow Threat

Newsreels around the world have been reporting the appearance of "Bigfoot 2.0". While sightings by the regular populace only report the damage and not the creature itself, agents sent to investigate have indicated the appearance of a large hollow outside of the Canadian town.

Named "Bigfoot 2.0" for its large feet, this bipedal monstrosity must be put down before any harm comes to the residents of that area. Though not a particularly threatening target, caution must be used to avoid any public attention due to the heavy media presence in the area.

Rewards: 5,000 Credits, Bigfoot Pelt

Unclassified

Derelict
Mission Objective: Retrieve Abandoned Equipment

Orpheus Outpost 312-B was a sub-antarctic research facility established several months prior to the initial fall of headquarters with the express purpose of being used to test new forms of anti-spirit weaponry far away from civilian populations. Following the attack on Tokyo and the recalling of all active agents, the facility was subsequently abandoned.

Locate the outpost and retrieve any research materials. Additionally, secure any pieces of equipment or ordinance the former staff may have left behind. Due to the outpost's geographic location, it seems unlikely that this particular facility would have been commandeered by the Order, though these same environmental hazards that have safeguarded the facility post great risk to anyone thinking of undertaking the recovery operation.
