Homecoming – [67/68]

-I have to admit, when I read that letter part I thought that guy was lord of house FU – Fuck You, lol.
-Bro, I know most of your punctuation errors probably come from jacking Word spellchecker over it, but by the goddess... please just proofread your dialogue punctuation after you’ve proofread everything.

Also: http://teacherweb.com/CT/ScottsRidgeMS/Jennes/punctuating.pdf

Don’t see what I mean, read that and try checking for faults again. Shade, you’re a good writer, but you’re just a little rusty on the dialogue punctuation part, I can overlook it only every so often.

-Oh one more thing, you kind of forgot/left out a word in this sentence: “I owe your father much more than this little favor, so this is least I can do for him. Where is he by the way?”
Where you wrote ‘so this is least,’ you really should’ve written ‘so this is the least’.

-Other than that this was a mysteriously fun and interesting piece of writing, Rob is pleased.

Take 100 Division Bonus with you, because you’re my favourite member... *cough*onlymember*cough*.

[C/12th] Week 199: Cat Fight
[65/69]

Dude... You’ve improved a lot actually. There are still a few errors that are sprinkled out in your writing (proofread my friend, proofread), but at least there is nothing that makes me stop and rewind to see if I (or you) missed anything. The collab was quite interesting. I swear to god, I thought Yaname was gonna rip her shirt off and be all like "TAKE ME!” in the end. Good job though, and I’m sure the next part will be quite interesting.

You may take 50 division bonarus!

Cad

[PM] [1st/8th/11th/12th] Week 199: This Is Supposed To Be A Scouting Mission [158/158]

Nice job here, you really scared the shit out of people going all zombie it seems (maybe try joining Sev’s army?) As for the writing, it was as usual, a great read. Saw nothing wrong with it other than that I wanted to see more.

[9th/12th] Week 199 - A Wound Left Unmended
[55/55]

Hmm... Interesting. I want to read the next part so bad. You guys did great here, really like the flow you two have. And again, your writing is ossimsauce! Full grades for you

You may take 100 division bonarus!

Tits

No links so no grade for you.

Tod

No links so no grade for you.

Twm

You don’t write.

---------------------------------------------------

Okay so it seems we are all up to date with the PMs, again, if you have any questions, they go to either Cad or Will (since I’m just a pawn). Next week Cad is grading, so send your shit to him.

PM bonuses have been added to grade.

Also, someone should make a kai that is named Erectus, just saying.

Orpheus: You need to write more. Sad Zenny is not good for writing. I want chapters done, I want collabs finished, and I want Missions completed. That last one is not specifically Plot Missions. If you don’t know what to write about, send me a message and we will collab something.

Seika: So glad you linked me, also sorry about missing that bit in Wait. Chaos does that you know. Sorry about spam in your thread took care of that quick.

Now onto your chapter; overall I found it appealing to read, but I did notice that you used Chestnut hair and ex-mobster rather liberally throughout the chapter. We need more spices than just pepper and salt. Try throwing in nutmeg or paprika into the mix, for some real heat, add ground ghost peppers. What I’m saying is that I saw you refer to your character as a Brit once; it stood out because it was only once. I’m not saying use a different descriptive every time, but he is more than just hair and a prior occupation.

PUT A WORD COUNT ON YOUR POSTS!!! [-3]

[84 / 86] chapter + [ 29 / 17 ] PM included for Wait = 113

Beaks: Sorry I read the grading rotation backwards. The collab was good and nice to see concerns voiced from a 3rd seat to her captain. The chapter left me wondering how it fits into plots, but with how short it was I guess I'll see soon enough. I still gave you a PM bonus for it

Grade: Collab w/ seika [41/41] + Chapt [ 68/34]

Muerte (55/55):

Seems that this did not get finished but there is a continuation, I look forward to the results of the encounter. Also I should have a turn to you later tonight, if you already sent me a reply.

Can't give you d bonar because you did not write the 1k words :/

Thread

:D you wrote.

Scouting mission (75/75):

Did not have any issues with your writing. Seems like in the continuation you and I will have a lot more interaction with each other since the lead and half the team disappeared on us D:

Cant control (48/52):

Watch your punctuation. You were missing a few commas and periods inside quotes where they were needed. Also you capitalized something after dialogue, whereas it should have been left lowercase.

You may haveu 75 D bonar.

Katie

Corrab w/ moi (118/118):

I had fun with this collab. It allowed me to conduct my initial meeting elsewhere other than behind a desk in an office. I will get you a turn on the training of your next Div tech soon.

You can takeu 75 of the division bonus.

Van

Scouting mish (120/120):

No issues broheim. Hollow, shot down, hollow... rinse and repeat :p then arrancar D:

Geno, Hawk, & Cheese if you all wrote, plz link me.

REMEMBER TO LINK ME YOUR WRITINGS UNTIL PM's ARE DONE.

...my reaction after realizing that two HM PM threads wrapped this past week.
wellshit.gif

ANYHOW,

Switch - Your collab with me: You get what I get.

Wayne - Pchap - Ah the folly of man-bears. While it's somewhat traditional to root for the underdog I find myself hard-pressed to be on the side of this golden-haired 'protagonist.' Maybe it's because I'm reading the Game of Thrones books and most people with blond hair are backstabbing shitdickers, or maybe its because of the 'ching chong get me some rice biiiiiiitch' line. Either way it happened. Throughout this whole one-sided clusterfuck it remained one-hundred percent impossible to root for Mr. Giovanni, which may have been what you intended from the beginning.

0/65 For using that song.

...or full points + 30 Div.

This Is Supposed To Be A Scouting Mission: I'm going to be doing these as bulk reviews, as more than one of you is present in them. For the most part, both of you (Meaning Zak and Switch) did well in keeping in character right from the get-go. Zakeriah has never been to Hueco Mundo proper, and while Amaya was more on edge he kept his air as almost nonchalant while remaining on guard, if such a thing is possible. Switch on the other hand has had more than one bad experience with HM, and her words of warning and apprehensive air were more than fitting.

Switch, you did a good job in not shrinking too much (or letting the spellcasters do all the work) and pointing out (several times, and rightly so) that your enemy shouldn't have been behaving as it did. When things inevitably hit the shitter (as they tend to do in PM's) you both conducted yourselves in a manner befitting Third Seats, worried and scared enough to feel human but disciplined enough not to let it consume you.

Zak: 168/168 + 30 Div
Switch: 108/108 + 30 Div

La Palidez De Muerte: I think Shun put it best when he stated that just like that, things had begun. Kyuketsu didn't waste an instant of time once they landed establishing a perimeter and distributing the tasks to complete. Going back and forth between the two collabs our people were involved in was really an eye-opener in how individuals in the BT do things. Kyuketsu and (in a strange twist) Arashi opted for the no-nonsense-by-the-books way of going about it, while Amaya and Zak seemed almost to defer entirely to Neko until the very end. Each of these two collabs had a very unique feel, and while the circumstances of their endings are similar that's about all that was.

The both of you handled your final turns in this collab like a boss, and I'm damn proud of the lot of ya.

Shun: 140/140 + 30 Div
Wayne: 148/148 + 30 Div

I'll come if you need help, but judging by how you are all handling yourselves in the desert you may not even need little old me.

GG- Moon
Archer - DEAR GOD THE BRIGHT BLUE HURTS MY GODDAMN EYES. Moving on, I'm going to be honest. This collab was damn confusing from start to finish. Going by past experiences, Cerberus isn't the nicest organization on the block. Shinigami/Vizards have had to fight against them before (this writer included) and while I can understand self-preservation to a point it makes very little sense that Zakki would stick his neck out for a Shinigami. While I realize that not all of [insert faction here] are totally [insert moral standing here] or [insert opposite moral standing here], it makes for some off-putting reading. Outside of the questions that arose by reading it I saw nothing wrong with the writing itself.

57/57

Cat Fight - Wow, and I thought the last one was confusing. First off, who was this collab even with? Who wrote which parts? What's with the cornucopia of colors? Aside from asking myself 'what will happen next?' I find myself wondering 'What am I reading?'

--/-- On hold until you can let me know who was involved in this collab and who did what writing.

Grading is gonna be kinda brief this week, but thankfully there wasn't tons to grade. Van, my only thread was the Scouting one. Long day at work: too tired for real formatting.

Palidez de Muerte

Things are about to get real. It'll be interesting to see how Picca handles the pressure since this is essentially the embodiment of her fears -- especially if the arrancar starts going for her limbs. Totally not giving anyone any ideas...

Grif's role made me look kinda active in my own thread. That's the only reason I knocked off points there.

Fin (731) 73/73
Grif (484) 45/48

This is Supposed to be a Scouting Mission

It's getting to be that time of year where everyone is slow on turns, but still this thread worked out pretty well. Lin did an excellent job of leading and commanding this group and Nell played the part of the scared newbie rather well. Berri, you have great writing as always, after I dragged you in, but I knocked some points off the top because there was really no interaction with anyone else in the collab except Kyuto.

Lin gets VC bonus for leadership.

Berri (1000) 95/100
Lin (2505) 251/251
Nell (1024) 102/102

Heated Feelings

This was a fun little read. A good struggle against the hollow, some decent fluff on the side. Stylistically, I would have liked to see the hollow described as a greater threat. Not so much like Lucas walks in and backhands it into a wall, but more like Yuurei is fighting for her life and he comes in as the heroic knight to save the damsel.

There were some minor mistakes throughout, such as little tense errors and minor misspellings/missing punctuation. Nothing detracted heavily from the collab itself.

Nell and Bob split the Div bonus.

Bob (3522) 85/88
Nell (3522) 85/88 (187/190 total)

[Miho] 150 - Division Bonus
A Hidden Archer Strikes! Part I (collab w/ Mewn): [54/57]
-Your writing in this collab was cleaner than that what I usually see from you, but there were still a few mistakes that made it through the proofreading process. There were a few instances where two words were jammed together
-I’m curious as to what the significance of this Quincy attack is. Is this going to be a reoccurring theme or was this just a way for Anya and Zakki to meet?

[Sene]
[PM] This Is Supposed To Be A Scouting Mission: [50/50]
-There wasn’t much of Seitaro here, but considering this is an NPC, perhaps that’s a good thing.

Meeting Outdoors (collab w/ Romana): [117/117]
-There’s nothing like giving a subordinate a question with no real answer, is there? It inspires a great feeling watching them toil under the weight of something that is purely up to personal interpretation.
-It was just like Senesati to completely ignore Adelaide’s attempts to get Udo in trouble. I laughed.
-The turns from both participants were clean other than a random symbol attempting to hide itself, but nothing worthy of docking points.
