you'll get used to it, just mess around and follow tutorials for a while, until you get the hang of it. If you don't try though you will never learn

Just trying to keep it so it's not a white background x-x It has to be 120x200 to stay a .png, right? o-o or can it be larger?

I'm pretty sure it could be larger...But What I usually do is just color the background the color of the forums background...
