Newbie Bonus

I'm pretty sure it just means you don't receive the bonus on the week you didn't write, not that if you miss a week you lose the entirety of the bonus; though technically you're not a newbie and should be exempt from the bonus (cheater) :P You get bleed bonus.

If I'm wrong I'm sure Will will come and stab/correct me, but I'm pretty sure the Newbie bonus is applied to any of the first three weeks you're here, as long as you write. The wording in the thread is awkward so I can see where you're confused. I'll have to get that cleaned up.

Oh, well...I mean, I don't have to have the bonus. I just never got a chance to ask anyone really how I was to be treated in that regard. I wasn't sure if I got stat bleed, or start over like a newbie, or what. So I assumed with the six month rule I was to just start new.

No no. Stats never go bad. So really you don't actually get newbie bonus. You start down at 1000k (baseline stats) and you gain 10% of your old stats (based on the most recent post in stat threads) per week, for every week you write, until you're back at full. The initial 1k is obviously deducted -- you don't get that free -- but the grade from your writing during this period is added on (you get your grade + 10% of old stats. At the end of the bleed, you should be at your old reiatsu + however much you wrote during the interim time). You have to reapply after six months, yes, but you never lose your stats.

K then, I'll roll with that and edit my grade and proceed forward with stat bleed instead of newnewfreshfresh. Thankfully it's just the one week and then whatever I get for this week. Thanks a bunch, Sevbro!
