Katsumi's eyes widened as he felt Ilsa's reiatsu plummet. His head turned her way, shock spreading through his countenance. Everything was becoming slower, and the possibilities bored down on him. Before he knew what he was doing, he vanished from the spot, leaving his would-be opponent in puzzlement.

The incredible blasts of energy and the clangs of sword against arrow didn't matter. The only thing that mattered was the pool of blood, spreading like the despair within him. His eyes saw the white-blonde hair and he tried to pull her up to his shoulder... before slipping in the red fluid. Angered and frustrated, the boy suddenly shouted, "OI, YOU THERE! GET HERE!"

A man in his apparent youth stumbled uncertainly towards them. "Yes, Mr. Katsumi sir?"

"Get some of your friends! We need to get Ilsa to the medics!" She needed to get (for lack of a more stupid word) fixed!

It had been several minutes since the healing process had begun. Akio had started to perspirate; small beads of sweat appeared sparsely on his forehead as the task of allocating his energies properly had grown progressively more difficult. Despite the urgency of the situation at hand, he couldn't help but let his mind wander slightly. It felt a lot like a time that seemed to be an eternity ago; his first training session with the then acting-captain of the Fourth. During his pursuit for the achievement of Chiyudo Mastery, Akio was forced to strive for a level of energy control he had not even dreamed of possible. A task that had seemed trivial initially, it grow progressively more daunting until he was unable to maintain the energy and was forced to quit his training prematurely. But now - perhaps due to growing in strength considerably, or quite possibly his hungry pursuit of knowledge - Akio had slowly begun to realize where he had gone wrong during that time. It wasn't about breaking the energy into eight even pieces, but rather, several times more. Controlling a multitude of smaller fragments is much easier than a set amount of larger, much heavier ones. Instead of allowing the energy to pull at him, he gingerly manipulated these pieces as he desired.

"Blood pressure is beginning to rise, sir."

The sudden update broke Akio's silent musings, and he returned back to the task at hand. He studied the woman's injury as closly as he could with his eyes alone. Bleeding had stopped, thanks to the bandage technique, and the inner-most layers had begun to regenerate. It would take several more minutes still, but she would make it out of this ordeal yet. Her body would need ample time in the recovery tent afterwards, though; she likely would not be concious for a few hours after the procedure regardless.

"Thank you," he said to the informant. Besides himself, there were two other medics working on this particularly nasty injury. Despite being rather taxing, the procedure had continued thus far without any complications. There was some sense of gratitude that came from working so well in tandem with your fellows, especially with so little communication; it was almost as if everyone was on the same wavelength, and that no words were recquired for them to operate together at maximum efficiency.

A winded looking Shinigami, very young even in comparison to Akio himself, ran up to the trio with a flustered appearance. After taking in a number of long, hearty breaths, he conveyed his message. "Ninth Seat, sir! Captain Matsumara has requested a rescue squad be formed and deployed to heal the leader of the Tenth Division Squad that was attacked." With a low bow the boy sped off and out of the tent.

"Reinforce your spells by reciting the incantation," instructed the officer to his fellows. "The moment it is complete, I will leave the rest to you." The two medics nodded, reciting the poem in little more than a whisper. A sudden influx of healing energy entered the woman, and for a moment, the healing was increased exponentially. Once he was sure that everything had been taken care of, Akio canceled his own spell. Emergency field supplies and zanpakuto at the ready, he burst out of the tent, and was met with the opressive Tokyo air once more.

It didn't take very long for Akio to find his subordinates. Kazuhiro had been taking care of security detail, while Chizuru was rushing around, helping the injured and making sure everything was running smoothly. As the usually bubbly brunette ran past, Akio gently took hold of her wrist.

"Oh, Ninth Seat! Things are hectic but under control," she relayed dutifully.

"That is good to hear," he said evenly. "I have a favor to ask of you; relay to the Captain that I will lead a squad to rescue the Tenth Division officer. Afterwards, relay to Ryouta that I have gone ahead, and point him in my direction. Thanks to our Arcanist friends, we have the coordinates of the attack." Before she was given time to protest, he turned away to leave. "I will send the information to your Soul Phone once I am in route." Without any warning, he dashed through the crowds of rushing Shinigami, and entered a flash step; hopefully he would make it there in time.

Sorry for the monstrous first turn, but I had to do a little bit of scene-setting. Wayne, I need you in this klab! I didn't really know how exactly I'd be getting there, so I sort of made something up. Edits are possible, so just let me know.

"Wait, stop!" Katsumi suddenly ordered. The group of four shinigami halted and set down the unconscious Valkyrie. The Fifth Seat tilted his head upwards, turning it sideways as if searching for something.

Sayis Inuzuri's voice was coming from somewhere… as if he was speaking through a microphone with a ten loudspeakers connected to it. However, this did nothing to halt the raging war happening within their environment. Katsumi suspected that the other three shinigami couldn't hear it either, because they were throwing him confused looks.

Once the Captain's voice stopped emanating from thin air, Katsumi pulled out his Denreishinki, dialed Sayis's number and curtly said, "Sayis-taichou, we are currently near a warehouse of sorts, escorting Ilsa, who is unconscious and injured, to the healers."

Pocketing the device, he motioned for the others to resume carrying Ilsa with him. Just then, however, a medic appeared.

Sorry for the late post. I thought someone else was gonna write a turn v.v

So…Mouko was bored.

Scratch that, she was beyond bored at this point. She was absolutely dreary. The ebon-haired girl just felt like falling asleep amidst this chaos. Stupid Masato, putting her in the Shangri-La…she should be fighting the enemy, not sitting put in the middle of butt-fuck nowhere! What the hell was she protecting? The beer?

Absent-mindedly tracking the energy around her, she frowned as one of the ribbons manifested around her began to waver and fade, its tattered edges betraying the condition its owner must’ve been in. Watching the pristine red construction (an oddity to her, amidst the sea of white she surrounded herself in) slowly decay and rust before her eyes was easily taking its toll, and by the time it began to flutter lifelessly to the ground the last straw had snapped.

Standing up abruptly, her feet swiftly carried her outside and along the path of the ribbon. Her trusty rifle, hence nicknamed Rusty for its unusually coloured stock, faithfully hung at her side awaiting use. She had trained with it a little, but the entire concept of firearms was still relatively alien. Then again, the extended bayonet down the side of the barrel might help fix that problem.

How long she ran, she had little idea. The streets were relatively deserted by now, many of those responsible for causing the chaos had probably moved onto new targets. Two new red ribbons accompanied the tattered and worn one as she continued running.

Finally, the reveal. Her eyes went wide at the seemingly normal humans…then her eyes flickered to the swords and she understood. Were these people Theos’? Worse, did that make them enemies? She put the thought out of her mind as she quickly approached them.

Any greetings she tried to give died in her throat as two metallic monstrosities rounded the corner, and a pair of lasers trained themselves on the two healthy Theos’. Almost a blur to her eyes, the two had instantly moved and began to engage the two robotic adversaries.

Of course, the appearance of the two new enemies seemed to spark a new wave of people laughing and shouting encouragement as they set fire to the surrounding world. The remaining sword-wielders scattered, dispersing amongst the insurgents to engage them. However, this would not stop a pair of them that quickly sought out the downed Theos. As they descended upon the helpless body, Mouko felt a glimmer of anger in her, and without hesitation she had swung Rusty around and fired a single shot between one of the two’s eyes.

The other attacker understandably halted, his eyes now locked onto the gun that had trained itself between his eyes. Her voice, now unusually clear amidst the panic, sounded out to the man harshly. “One more step towards her and you’ll share his fate.”

The man started to back off, but as he furtively glanced between the prone Theos and her rifle, he suddenly lunged. Cursing under her breath, she dashed towards him, tackling him out of the way before he could set his hands upon her. Now the extended bayonet lashed out, slicing the man from stomach to throat.

There was no time for remorse or guilt, Mouko swiftly scooped up the unconscious form of the woman and disappeared around a nearby street alley, her own thanatoresonance filtering into the girl in hopes that the wounds would heal.

Wait, what?
Will asked me to take over the healing process for Lin, since this is moving too slowly.

Kimura and Akio have been removed, they are currently engaging a pair of Destriers. Whether or not you decide to write that out is up to you. The rest of the squad has been dispersed amongst attacking HYDRA agents.

Mouko has taken Ilsa to a nearby house to heal her. Lin, I'd like for you to contact me via IM or PM so that we can figure out where to go from here and whether or not there will be any further interruptions to the healing process.
