Zerieth quickly jumped back up onto the stands, holding Ookami at his side. He heard several his compatriots release their zanpakuto, and decided that it was probably time he got serious as well. After all, the foul creature had tried to blow his head off. He took such things very personally, even if it was just a beast. "Let's join in the fun, shall we?" he asked Ookami. The wolf howled in answer, and Zerieth shouted, "Howl your pride, Ookami!" The weapon flashed, and lengthened into its shikai form. The air around it began to glisten with ice as it asserted its control.
The young soul reaper wasn't foolish. The beat had to be power to be able to fire off a cero like that. It would be best to follow the lead of those before him. He waited with the blade held out in front of him, grasping the weapon with both hands as he'd been taught.
“Firenze.” From the beast’s jagged fangs came a semblance of laughter. “Un topo tugrio.”
Despite its lack of bipedalism, Vuoto was a large, prominent beast. Even on all fours, it matched the height of all three shinigami. The third pair of legs cusped on its chest remained tightly folded, intact as if attempting to conceal something. A shallow growl made its way around the scion as it began to slowly distance itself from the its quarries, circling around them like the predator that it was.
Hearing the words of power echo from their lips one by one, the beast of emptiness simply couldn’t help but absorb the substance behind their release.
“Kōri no Jotei. Ghiaccio Imperatrice.”
“Shuryō juu gata. Caccia Bestia.”
“Ookami. Dio Lupo.”
On each of the warriors’ blades reflected the harrowing abyss which defined Vuoto. A creature born from nothingness, its entire existence reached nowhere and everywhere all at once. It had no true purpose, no true reason other than what was reflected and thrown into the void.
Brandishing its bladed tail, Vuoto’s sights momentarily touched on the other two though returned swiftly to the girl. Raising its snout, it sniffed the air as a sly grin traced its features.
“Funny.” Its language remained as it was, fluent and sharp Italian. “I smell your blood pumping through your veins... and yet I also smell it close by... weak, and so, so vulnerable. What could that possibly mean, I suppose?”
1,233
still speaking italian this entire time, because fuck translators. that means only alexia should be able to understand what louie vuotton is saying.
Alexia kept her stance as the scion ridiculed her, trying not to let her emotions get the better of her as it called her a whore.
“Look this thing seems more interested in me then you guys. Try to use that to your advantage. What’s the best thing you guys are good at?” she asked the two.
However the hollow soon caught her attention again as it spoke of smelling her blood elsewhere. How could it detect them so far away?
“You take a step in their direction and I will eviscerate you,” she threatened in her native language.
"Close combat," replied Dellius, not even looking at his comrade.
Though he spoke in a calm voice there was something akin to anger and confusion within him. Why did the hollow focus itself on Alexia? It was a natural instinct of a predator to quickly down the weakest creature before devouring. But if that were the case it would have gone for Zerieth first. This puzzled him as wondered what ploy it was. Did the creature focus on her merely because she was the first one to actively attack or was it something else? Regardless, he could feel his pride injured a little. The spirit roared within his head.
"So this creature thinks he can ignore me?!" Shuryo-sama spoke in rage. "He will regret underestimating me.
Dellius remained deathly still as his body was still battle ready and his stare grew increasingly intense.
“Is that a threat, stronzo?” Vuoto spat with disdain. “You gravely overestimate yourself... and the capabilities of your allies. Watch... as this is only a fraction of what I’m capable of.”
Steam seeped out from its jaws and nostrils, its legs motioning around the woman and the elderly giant. In an instant, a faint, blurred afterimage was all that was left of the beast. Its sonido was brutally efficient, far more advanced than any of its regular Hollow-kin. The speed demon was but a flourish of light, a transient gust in the wind carried by ungodly agility almost unfathomable to the naked eye.
It reemerged behind the white-haired soldier, its empty gaze detached entirely from its victim. Within Vuoto’s jagged maw was a chunk of flesh, still bleeding as it was torn gruesomely from skin to meat. Over below to its chest, clasped within its third pair of claws, was yet another mass of muscle and fat, skewered and pierced through and through. Streams of crimson dripped profusely from its seized body parts, staining the ancient coliseum with a fresh wash of death and decay.
The man called Zerieth, with a good portion of his ribcage and thighs torn off, simply stood there as streams of his life fluid sprayed like a macabre fountain amidst the night sky. Vuoto’s serpentine tail crept up to its victim’s neck, twirling around it before squeezing tightly, mercilessly. The scion felt the air left its prey’s throat, noticing all semblance of ‘fight’ disperse into the winds. As the shinigami’s eyes closed shut, his body was tossed viciously to the side as it hit hard against a stone pillar.
It looked at Dellius, then to the Italian, sneering at them with galvanizing ferocity.
“By all means, keep fighting amongst yourselves. The cattle outside these walls won’t be going anywhere. They’ll end up in the macello just like you two.” Turning its attention fully to the girl, it continued, asking, “Tell me, whore, are you so young for a shinigami that your own parents are still alive? Fate must truly despise you.”
It shot back into another bursting sonido, striking with marauder-like precision against the undead sword-mage, its bladed tail spiraling for his chest.

took out zerieth, but he's still alive (barely). went for dellius too.
lastly, let's spice things up a bit. you have 15 turns combined to kill me before he bleeds out and dies. have at it.
“Figlio di puttana,” Alexia yelled as Zerieth’s body flew through the air.
This was exactly something she’d been trying to avoid. Damn it, not even five minutes into the fight, and they were already down a soldier.
She ran over to the wounded man, immediately understand that these wounds were far beyond what either of them could fix. Contemplating on what to do, she recalled her actions in the Indian jungle. It would be a cold prison for the man, but it was better than bleeding to death.
“Dellius, I need you to occupy that thing. Don’t let it near us, got it?” she ordered.
The Duelist stabbed her blade into the ground, her hands hovering over the fallen spellblade’s body. Focusing on the major wounds, she slowly began to apply layers of ice to the lower half of his body.
“I’ve told you already, you monster. You go near them, and you will regret ever crawling out of your hole,” she said, her eyes still fixated on her comrade.
The elderly soul reaper had seen the hollow take down his comrade, but he felt nothing. There was only the cold calculations of a predator observing and learning from his prey. The hollows speed was quite impressive. He had barely seen any movement made by the creature as he witnessed the elegant performance of savagery.
"That is quite the speed the creature has...It'll be tricky to defeat this beast." Shuryo-sama said with a sagely tone. It was only the speed he was impressed with so far. The lion-hollow had taken down Zerieth, but that wasn't a grand feat in the slightest. He was the weakest of their group...a mere cub whose fangs had barely broken through the skin of his mouth. The civilities of the man's mind had felt a sense of shame that he had allowed for his fellow comrade to suffer such a fate. This feeling only came out once before being shoved into the pits of his mind.
The hollow moved once more in a flash and Dellius felt all of his senses suddenly spiral out of his control as his instincts felt something was coming. Dellius barely had time to raise his gauntlets in front of him before the hollows tail collided with it. His body long ago tensed for action, he deflected the blow away from his body. The sound of the attack hitting against the metal rang throughout the coliseum and sparks flew as pushed against the gauntlet. The gauntlet was already scared before, but now there was a noticeably larger one that it seemed to bore. The tail had smashed a large hole within the arena's wall, before it returned to its rightful place.
The sound of his heart was sounding much more than any elderly person of his age should and the vigor settling his bones was now brought fully to life. The reasoning of man had only remained long enough for him to hear what Alexia had said. The side of reason had made him nod his head. It was only natural that she would try to help their dying comrade. An even stronger emotion that was coursing through was anger.
"Occupy?" The word rang through his thoughts as loud as the tail hitting his gauntlet.
The very meaning of what that word insinuated had burned him and Shuryo-sama gave a feral growl of indignation. It was only the struggle of reason that prevented him from letting the hollow have his fun. He fully intended to have his share first. Dellius crouched low tensing all of his leg muscles. Suddenly a loud roar of a lion could be heard as the ground beneath Dellius's feet erupted in a spray of dirt and rock. The giant was now flying at the hollow at great speed leaving only a cloud of dust in his wake. The old man grinned only slightly as his new prey stood before him. Alexia and Zerieth was beyond his thoughts right now. There was only the predator and the prey.
[506/2329]
OOC: Dellius used his first ability of his shikai to propel himself at the hollow.
The look in the old man’s eyes seemed undetached to their current predicament. By themselves, they could not hope to overcome the feral lion, and by themselves, they would only die one by one. The girl opted on attempting to heal their wounded ally, yet merely stopping the bleeding could only do so much. As the gray-haired soldier struck forward, eager to match wits with the scion, Vuoto only gave an amused, belittling chuckle.
It remained steadfast in its stance, unfazed completely at the sight of the approaching death god. As Dellius made contact with his attack, the ghostly lion blocked the titanic gauntlets, whipping forward its pernicious bladed tail to halt and impede. It was pushed back slightly, the intensity carrying the soldier just being enough to prod its foundation. With the momentum waning behind the invading strike, Vuoto lashed its tail for Dellius’ feet, creating a circling motion in the hopes of ensnaring the man by his ankles.
It inched itself closer for the old man, quickly amassing a body of reiatsu before releasing yet another titanic cero at point blank range.
Amidst its destructive wave’s release, the hellhound beguiled, “You think yourself to be the cacciatore, do you, worm? You’re either boldly arrogant or downright brainless. You’re no good even for a meal.”
1,817
I'm just gonna assume Dellius was intending to tackle me.
Anywho, blocked the attack with tailsword, then whipped it for his feet to try and ensnare them...
topping that off with a cero point blank.
“I don’t know if you can hear me Zerieth, but just hang on. None of us are healers, so the best I can do is put you into cryo. Hope you can tolerate the cold,” Alexia said.
Her hands worked over the last visible parts of his body, and finally the spellblade was covered in layers of ice. Looking at her hands, she hadn’t realized that they were stained with her comrade’s blood. She hoped that he would survive this. That they all would survive this.
Wiping her hands on her skirt, the Duelist got to her feet, grabbing hold of her released weapon. In a few seconds she disappeared from sight, then reappeared next to the locked-in fighters. She swung up from underneath the creature’s open maw in the hopes of slicing its ugly face off. Though what she was aiming for was to at least divert its oncoming attack.
The sound of the cero's impact cut through the air like a dagger in the night and the resulting explosion erupted a thick plume of smoke and ash in the wake of the cero's destruction. Suddenly the smoke parted as Dellius leaped through at the creature.
In the beginning, Dellius hadn't expected his maneuver to do serious harm to the creature. The elderly man's true intention was to get as close as he can to the hollow. The pleasure of striking down your foes with his bare hands was something he would savor. Even as his attack was halted, he prepared for the worse. He was expecting the creature to block with his extra limbs but once again, he used his strange tail. The tail was working its way around his ankle, but he pulled the leg in before the grip had strengthened. Dellius was about to strike then but the growing color of red around the surroundings and the growing reiatsu had warned him of another cero was approaching. He had taken the cero to the face before so it wouldn't have been too distressing if not for the fact that he was so close to his target. Any damage suffered at such distance would be extensive. Before the cero had touched him, Dellius had let loose a force of reiatsu from his body and a dome of virulent energy emerged. It was a defensive ability of Shuryo-sama's power. The dome broke under the cero's might but it had done its job. The cero was weakened considerably and the elderly soul reaper was still alive. The opponent was strong...but he was still upset that he had to use such a technique for defense for it was costly and didn't fully protect him from the damage.
Now that he was at an even closer range of the hollow, Dellius body crouched down. Another roar sounded as a yellow blast erupted blasting him at the hollows legs, but that wasn't the end of it. Turning his body, he positioned his hands to blast the hollow allowing the blast to move him away from the creature as well as attacking.
[358/2687]
OOC: Yeah...second ability to weaken and more use of the first ability. By the way, assuming the body is hit, your sense of balance is fudged up.)
Their combined efforts were bold, though no less foolish. Vuoto twisted its body, contorting with unnatural limberness as it evaded much of its enemy’s blows. The girl nicked only a portion of its snout, drawing but a dash of blood and nothing more. The older of the two shinigami charged in madly despite being hit by a cero, enduring through the hardship with misplaced vigor. The amber blast raging from Dellius’ palms tore for the scion with unmitigated strength, singeing a bit of the lion’s front leg.
In a flash, Vuoto distanced himself from the pair, immersing itself once more in the embrace of its beloved shadows. Again, it was lost from sight, camouflaged in an abysmal sanctuary. The monster’s voice called out harrowingly, the source coming from both everywhere and nowhere.
“How does it feel... knowing that you are too weak to protect anyone, let alone yourselves?” It sneered. “Your ally has fallen from your own inadequacies... and so too will the frail mortals that share your blood.”
Then came the silence.
For what seemed like an eternity of unnerving calm, there came no other insults from the beast, no further taunting that toyed with its prey. Instead, piercing the dull quietness was a pained scream coming from the coliseum walls. It was a woman’s, shrill and fearful. Another voice panged out, this time of a male, though unsure and vexed.
The undead lion sat idly next to two humans, two old relics far past their primes. They were brittle... so, so brittle that the monster had to watch itself lest they be crushed within it hold. Vuoto’s serpentine tail wrapped around the both of them, pinning the old couple in place like trophies ready to be put on display. The bladed end of the Hollow’s appendage reared closer for their throats, its edge placed but an inch away from their jugulars.
A chilling feeling ran down her spine as Alexia heard the cry of her parents sound out into the night. She ran for the outside, infuriated that the hollow would take such a cowardly path. A cowardly lion...there was some reference there, but this neither the time nor the place for a silly joke.
The threat aside she could not help but look at her elderly parents.
Mother...Father.
The blade in her hand was trembling with anger, but she had to force herself to not charge in. The hollow’s bladed tail had already proven itself to be quite durable, so how could she get it off of them without harm coming to her loved ones?
It was then...that she arrived.
Suddenly the tail was lit aflame, though curiously enough it wasn’t harming the parents. The hollow flailed about in pain, releasing the senior citizens onto the ground. A female appeared in front of Alexia and their eyes met...the exact same eyes.
She’s...me, Alexia thought, absolutely stunned at their similarities. The only real difference between them was that this lady had Alexia’s old hairstyle.
“Who the hell are you?” they both said.
My god, we even sound alike.
“We’re going to have a talk, but first I’m getting my parents out of here,” the lady said, Alexia noticing the blade, a red and black hilted zanpakuto.
“No I’m getting my parents out of here,” Alexia said.
The two looked at each other intensely for a brief moment. They seemed to reach some silent agreement, and moved over to the parents. Each of them picked one parent up, and Alexia looked back toward her now lone comrade.
“Dellius we need you to hold this thing off for a bit. Try not to die, okay?” she called to him.
Soon after the two Italians disappeared in a flash.
Its assault was flawless, brilliantly executed with such precision speed and dexterity. Such a worm of a shinigami could not have possibly been able to save the two mortals... and yet... and yet there was another. Caught unaware, Vuoto was struck by an interloper whose presence had eluded its pesquisa until now. How was this possible? How could such a miserable little cretin sneak up on the beast, and even more so, look exactly like the girl?
The scion gnashed its fangs in utter frustration, enraged as it watched the two green-haired females vanish before its eyes. Had Vuoto been unscathed, it could have easily given chase to the two with the agility powering its legs. The scalding flames that engulfed its tail had taken its toll, however, as the Hollow’s movements became momentarily brittle and lax.
“Cazzo porco! Sarò cazzo di strappare gli occhi aperti!!” it howled viciously at the wind, jaws salivating with murderous desire.
Slamming its tail callously against the ground, the blaze was immediately extinguished, revealing once more the blade within. Its edge was charred and somewhat dulled, though its lethality was still very much intact. Vuoto turned its gaze to the remaining soul reaper—the elderly man whom appeared to be the most capable. Growling maliciously, the undead lion continued, “I’ll make quick work of you, vecchio. But that woman... that filthy fucking whore... her death will be long and agonizing. Be thankful for such salvation.”
The demon vanished in a maddened sonido, emerging instantly from behind the old man. The pair of talon-like arms protruding from its chest shot forward, aiming to pierce both Dellius’ shoulders. From behind, Vuoto’s tail rampaged once again, its tip screaming for the shinigami’s stomach. In light of it all, from the blackened abyss that made up its gullet, a cero of crimson death formed, shooting with vicious glory directly for the man’s head.

unholyy
k, so for unholy: vuoto's two small chest arms are trying to stab you on both shoulders, while the tail is coming in from behind the hollow to hit stab you on the gut. topping that off, it fired a medium-sized cero targeting only your head
The creature had managed to avoid a full shot but it only needed to wound the creature a little with that blast for its effects to occur. Now it was time prey to submit. Before that happened the creature vanished once more. Apparently now the creature was holding some humans hostage. Had rationality been motivating Dellius, that might have meant something to him. However, where fear and worry should have been for the two parents being held in the hollows clutches was only fury and rage for the hollow. The elderly giant was forever studying the hollow whilst in combat. Every move it made was something learned. But his rage was not brought by predatory instinct but by the feelings of man. The creature...this prey had the gall to ignore him not once but TWICE. For regular humans. The man bit his lip, the taste of blood surging in his mouth. It was like trading a lobster dinner for tinned crab meat. The man made a small gurgling sound in his throat in an attempt to suppress his scream. The outburst of emotion was stifled once more and his eyes were made to focus on the creature.
"Let nothing else distract you, cub. There is only the predator and the prey here." Shuryo-sama said with bloodlust seething from every word.
"I know."
Before the creature managed to kill the parents off, another girl interfered and singed the predators tail, saving them. Dellius had barely taken notice of the second girl who came. His eyes only looked at her through peripheral vision once before focusing on his target. He then heard something that he couldn't ignore. Alexia and the newcomer was leaving. They were leaving him alone...with this monster. It was supposed to be a team effort that vanquished this foe. Only he and the frozen carcass otherwise known as Zerieth, remained. Only a battle to the death remained. Only pure bliss...did Dellius feel.
Now it was how it was truly meant to be. Predator and prey. No more fruitless distractions to get in either's way. Shuryo-sama himself gave a roar of triumph as things could now progress. He looked at the hollow raging over the loss of his comrades. He would laugh if not for the fact that he was still somewhat being ignored. The hollow then turned its view to Dellius and the old man felt his muscles tighten with anticipation. He then heard some words. Normally, he would ignore the idle prattle of his enemy. After all, words are for prey....and best used pleading for one’s life. But the words that the hollow spoke had rang through his heart. Only a fragment of the statement had actually been heard, but it was only that fragment that he heard that actually meant something. It repeated in his mind once.
I’ll make quick work of you..
The hollow vanished from his sight and he felt his shoulders being pierced from behind. Dellius winced at the pain as the claws dug into him, but more so was a growing anger. The elderly man studies was bearing fruit as he could almost near predict the hollows movement. He had to turn his head to see, but it was enough for him. He had already seen how the hollows body moved and acted when the tail was used so he was now knew what was coming. He could only barely move his hands behind him to shield himself from the blow and the angle wouldn't be easy to pinpoint either. With a quick grunt of effort he placed his hand behind him as well as released a surge of power from his very body. The tail had hit him nearly taking the wind out of him but instead of piercing him it viciously pushed him off the claws. Pain shot across both arms as the hollow's claws had dug deep and kept bits of his shoulder with it. The pain had reawakened his senses from gut blow and he quickly grabbed onto the tail and turned his body around while an erupting blast had pushed him forward. Even in the midst of battle, Dellius was keeping his senses sharp with the creature. As he rocketed forward, he sensed a rise of energy coming from the lion.
Dellius smirked as he was now very close. His studies only continued to give result. Three times he had already seen the cero being used. By now he had already learned enough. More specifically, the time it took to fire. It wasn't a long time at all...it was quite quick. But at such close range, reaction was possible. With his fist clenched hard, only seconds before cero fired, Dellius shot his hand into the creature’s mouth and fired a blast once more. The resulting explosion blew him back with his arm bleeding and scalding. The smell of burning flesh was now emanating strongly and even moving his finger caused the old man great pain. Dellius got to his feet though glaring at the wake of dust. Finally, the old man spoke as he saw the lion from the smoke..
"Quick work you say...? Quick work?! THRICE you have chosen to ignore me for others. One for a cub whose teeth have barely broken through his jaws...the second for mere humans....the third for a child whose fangs are still dull. I don't understand your reasoning predator...but clearly you seem quite content with playing with ants! Does it truly give you such satisfaction to bully them so? You have all the strength, and beauty of a true predator....but your mind...your behavior is that of cowardly prey! So superior you claim to be yet you've only focused on squirrels and sheep. I would think a lion would have more pride."
The smoke cleared completely now with the two of them a distance away from each other. Dellius felt the blood from shoulders and arm seep into his gloves and clothes and the pain was ever present. But that pain kept him aware of what was going on...he relished it. His muscles tightened as he slowed his breathing to keep himself steady. Dellius fully intended to break this creature even if he had to do it piece by piece.

So for recap, used [ Taikaku Kakougan ] - "Granite Constitution" to keep the tail from stabbing me and allowing it to fully push me out of the stabby arms grasp. Then grabbed the tail turned himself around and made the cero detonate at close range. with his arm/roar blast.
When Alexia and...’Alexia’ reappeared, they were well away from the fight. The Duelist placed her mother down slowly, the poor lady had passed out from the trauma. Why did they have come here at this time of day? Who the heck goes to national monuments during nighttime.
“State bene, mamma,” she said, lightly kissing her mum on the forehead.
“Sì, siamo a tre isolati dal Colosseo. Non appena possibile, grazie,” ‘Alexia’ said into a phone, closing it and placing it into a pocket.
“I’ve called an ambulance for them. Now we’re going to talk,” the lady said, slowly walking towards the shinigami.
“Look as freaked out as I am by this, I’ve got a comrade single-handedly fighting a dangerous beast right now. Can we raincheck this or something?” Alexia said, turning to leave.
“Incinerate, Bureizu kōgō” the second Alexia declared, her blade taking on a different form.
She has a release too?, the Duelist thought. The ‘civilian’ was now wielding a large greatsword of some type, the blade literally swimming with flames.
“Tell me who you are,” the lady demanded. Alexia sighed as she readied her own weapon.
“I know who I am,” the Duelist responded.
“Alexia Felone da Firenze,” the two of them stated at the same time, projectiles flying from each of their weapons. Ice shards and molten rock filled the air.
Though flung back violently by the shinigami’s countermeasure, the lion nonetheless found itself landing on its feet. Twisting through the air, regaining its lost momentum, Vuoto eyed the old man through the grayed as smog as small burn marks scarred the creature’s snout. It huffed dismissively, ignoring the thrashing pain caused by the fatuous old man.
Hearing Dellius’ rant, the miasmic intensity looming over the scion seemed to dissipate a bit, replaced instantly by a shrill, mocking laughter.
“For a common soldier, you view yourself with such misplace greatness to the point of utter hilarity.” It began sidestepping around the reaper, eyes poised and ready. “You whine and complain, and yet all you’ve done thus far is let a comrade tread the precipice of death. You, like the girl, are nothing if not arrogant. No... che nonè giusto. You’re not arrogant. Just stupid.”
Vuoto moved itself by a pillar, glancing at it just before whipping a tail against its base. Though carved bedraggledly, the car-sized chunk of stone would do well for what the demon had in store. Wrapping it around its serpentine feeler, the four-legged scion hurled the slab against the shinigami.
Shifting once more to another sonido, Vuoto reappeared atop Dellius, its tail spiraling downward to pin the man in place.
Dellius had listened to the hollows words, but they all past through his ears like the wind. He would have no more words with him as he had said his piece. Any further talk from him would be done when either he or the creature were dead. As the hollow moved, his eyes never left the creatures own gaze. The minute he saw the creatures gaze avert slightly to the pillar, he already knew part way what was going to happen. It was a common divisionary ploy that any fighter could deploy. These thoughts of course were all rushing at him quickly. The question remained that if the rock was the diversion then what was the real attack? The sonido of that creature was always a problem. It was one that he'd have to deal with if he was to make some headway.
The stone slab was thrown. Dellius would have moved out of the way, but the tail of the hollow had pinned him down. Opening his mouth he let loose a mighty roar, shattering the stone to dust. Looking upward he roared once more aiming his roar at the beast’s legs.
Alexia didn’t know how this duplicate got a zanpakuto, or how she was mixed in with her family, but her thoughts were currently preoccupied with not being cleaved in two. Those thoughts froze in her mind as the wall she was taking cover behind suddenly heated up. She sprang forward as the fiery greatsword stabbed through the wall, the bricks and mortar melting under its heat.
“Running away is not a tactic I would expect from myself,” ‘Alexia’ stated.
“Really. We’re going to make copy puns? I am not that cheesy,” Alexia replied, swinging her zanpakuto back, releasing another flurry of icicles.
The copy, for lack of a better term, pointed her large weapon forward, a spiral of fire erupting from the blade. This was a bad matchup, as the icicles were immersed in heat, the attack effortlessly cutting through. The shinigami threw herself to the ground to avoid it, but soon felt a foot on her back. The copy was now standing above her, blade raised for a strike.
“Answer my question. How do you know my parents?” the copy demanded.
“They’re my parents, genio. You don’t find it weird that you’re so young and yet Mother and Father are elderly already?” the Duelist.
“What the hell are you saying?” the copy responded, though Alexia noted that the pressure of her foot had lightened up. Curiosity was taking place over her anger.
“That fact is that I don’t know. And we’re not going to solve this with mindless fighting. So can we hold the argument and the creepy looking in the mirror feeling until after the bad guy is dead?” Alexia said.
The Italians locked eyes, as if they were searching them for their true motives.
The Hollow’s streamlined physique twirled upon seeing the old man’s counteroffensive. Although leagues beneath the lethality of Vuoto’s cero, the scion was not about to waste precious energy dispatching some meager flash of light spewing from the shinigami’s gullet. It evaded the blast, sustaining only but a very minor singe by its back.
Leaping away, it quickly churned its heels, moving back for its victim like a perpetuating locomotive in full gear. The lion pounced sideways, aiming to dig its corrupted fangs into the old man’s throat. Its tail spun further outwards, encircling Dellius before lunging from behind, focused and speeding for its target’s spine.

huh. so i guess it's a one-on-one now since alexia's lezzing out with her clone. oh well.
either way, trying to bite dellius on the jugular, while the tail is coming from behind to stab his spine.
Dellius felt a pang of irritation as the attack barely grazed the hollow. But each blast would take its tool. Each strike no matter how small was a chip to his prey's defeat. Though it wasn't satisfying as getting a full strike, its purpose would be assured. The creature had leapt back to dodge unpinning him. The mans eyes stared at the creature as he made his move again. All awareness was focused on his movements.
Through the sides of his eyes, he saw the tail moving from behind the hollow past his field of vision which made him wary even as the lion approached with his open maw. The soul reaper raised up his hand as the creatures teeth came crashing down on his arm. He could feel the intense pressure of its jaws actually breaking through. But this was what he intended. Now that he was this close, there was only seconds to make a move. He had seen the movement of the hollows tail and how quickly it moved on its own. The old giant shifted his body letting the tail graze his side before grabbing it with his free hand and using the tails momentum as well as his own strength to rush it at the hollow in an attempt to spear him.
