To Everyone
The Seventh is Revolting, we need people, so if your interested just PM/IM me and let me know, but we want you :D

Filibuster grinned widely as he stepped into the crowd above the surface. Without the Captain around he had finally been able to set his plans in motion, and start this rebellion. Men flanked him on either side as he stepped into the rabble.

Beautiful, this is just perfect...

Spreading his arms wide the tall shinigami threw his head back and laughed, a sound lost almost immediately in the noise of the revolting. After a moment he took a deep breath, and turned to his right and smiled at the man who stood there.

"Could you have expected better than this Thomas?”

The question was rhetorical, and everyone in the group seemed to know it but the poor man who stuttered unheard words back.

With a flick of his wrist Filibuster drew his zanpakutou that had only recently been retrieved.

"Boom.”

A sound that could only be likened to a gunshot echoed through the crowd, immediately silencing it and turning every face toward the man who caused it.

Snapping his wrist back, filibuster grinned to the mob, letting his released zanpakutou rest anonymously on his forearm.

"Prisoners!” he boomed into the crowd, "or should I say free men! " the resulting roar from the crowd forced Filibuster to wait a moment, but he simply smiled to it.

"Welcome to Castigo Divino, the glorious answer to the Central Forty Six’s failed rule. From the bowls of their punishment we will rise up, and question their rule. We will march to them now and force them to face us, the wrongfully sentenced, the falsely accused, and we will take back the power...”

The rest of his words were lost in the noise from the crowd. The pulsed and moved like a swarm of insects as they made their way toward the Division gates, and the guards, but Filibuster knew he had gotten his point across.

Turning back to the group of individuals that surrounded him, he stared at each of them for a moment.

"Any more questions? If you need to ask them go ahead, this is our only chance, and I want this to be done right.

The masses of recently liberated prisoners were in an uproar. In every direction, one only saw the faces of hardened criminals cheering wildly. The air was filled with a cacophony of shouts; men and women alike were caught up in all of the excitement. Moegi only smiled; a thin, knowing smile. After all of her years in confinement, it was finally time for her - and her fellow Sevenths - to take down all those dirty old fuckers who locked them away.

But for now, it was the waiting game. Waiting was the biggest pain in the ass since the C46, but she could manage. She had waited almost thirty years in prison for a chance like this; just a little while longer was nothing in comparison.

Note
Soo...methinks we need some 8th NPCs to deal with these 7thers eh?

As Udo was doing the small amount of paperwork that an Eighth Seat has to do, announcements yelled through the hallways, "Spiritually empowered humans are attacking each other! Greater numbers than expected! Move out immediately!”

With a confused you’re-an-idiot look on his face, the shinigami thought, Eh? Didn’t the hollow attack a while ago teach this lot they’ve got other enemies to worry about? Far out... Leaving the papers were they were, the green-haired officer moved quickly down the stairwells towards the Senkaimon, to a nuisance of a mission.

However, not long after Udo had stepped out on Earth, new orders arrived - "The Seventh Division prison is in riot. Return to quell immediately.” Getting contradicting orders like this does not inspire confidence.

With a disappointed sigh, the officer turned around and went back through the Senkaimon he just used, to deal with another unexpected event. On the quick trip through the precipice world and across Seireitei, the violet-eyed magician of the blade had time for a few thoughts.

The former scientist (Is that an oxymoron? Probably.) transferred to the Eighth Division so that he could slice up more hollows, so he wasn’t to happy about the fact he was being sent to deal with a prison riot. Not just any prison, but a prison full of shinigami.

An inmate that Udo had met in the past was now the captain of the peacekeepers, so why weren’t they dealing with this? Surely her inside information would be invaluable given the circumstances.

Just to make matters worse, Udo had recently been promoted to an officer, so he wasn’t used to the whole "giving orders” thing.

Damn it, who is giving these stupid orders?, thought the green-haired swordmage, a crease lining his brow as he flash-stepped between the rooftops of Seireitei, from the Eighth to the Seventh divisions, approaching the mess within the walls of the white city.

There was one very big difference between shinigami and hollows, and Udo wasn’t looking forward to being on the wrong end of that stick. Shinigami can work together.

Kuroyama sighed, twirling the dual-bladed zanpakuto absently.

Let's get this over with. Every minute we spend talking is one more that the Central Forty-Six has to bring in a pet division to screw us over. The green-haired woman tapped her foot. Thank Kami, though, at least the Thirteenth's not here. I don't think I could face him after this. He shouldn't be back until the fight's over, and one way or the other it will be.

She hated the Central Forty-Six with a passion, which was why she had signed up with the dirty rat Fillibuster. She'd always despised the power-hungry, rich-and-arrogant bastards who lorded themselves over the Rukongai. However, she had no beefs with their guardians, the Gotei Thirteen; in fact had several friends in the Shinigami divisions, including the Thirteenth's newly-minted Vice-Captain. It was good that they had been sent to Earth; she didn't think she could face him, or beat him. He'd grown far too quickly for that. Still, he had no great love for the Forty-Six; if he returned to find the new government working, she had no doubts he'd slide in just fine. It was a good survival trait.

Come on already, geez.

[198]

Hajinori Ryubo inhaled deeply, taking in the crisp, fresh air that he had missed for so long, having been locked in his cell. Well, it would have been crisp and fresh if not for the teeming masses of sweaty and angry prisoners milling about the courtyard. Still, he was determined not to let a paltry thing like air quality prevent him from enjoying the spectacle. The man at the center of the crowd was a master, artfully crafting his speech so the listeners would slide along in whichever direction he chose.

I just hope we get better beds out of all this, the carefree man thought to himself as he was swept along in the grandiose claims of the leader of this insurrection. When the crowd started to move, Ryubo had to fight against them to maintain his position. He wasn't really in the marching mood.

[146/146]

Valter was by no means a fan of Filibuster… or of anyone else, for that matter. The sole reason he even followed behind this cretin was the fact that he actually got something done for once. And of course, this bastard was strong. Like nearly everyone else gathered in that decrepit place they all once called ‘home,’ the man couldn’t help but raise a deviant smirk to the whole entire scheme. He was fed up with the disgrace, with the ridicule, and the arrogance-filled walls of his imprisonment brought on by the Soul Society. Once a man of noble cause, Valter blundered, and thus caused him his future as a soul reaper and was forever henceforth given the mark of a traitor. In due time he grew weary of this system of hierarchy and rank—it was beyond him, and it simply disgusted him to no end.

He wanted chaos, goddammit. Anarchy was the name of the game, and at last, here they all were, collected into one opposing force that would finally topple that ridiculous government known by all as the Central Forty-Six.

“Free men, huh?” he began, jerking his head to meet Filibuster’s gaze. “I like the sound of that. Has a nice… ring to it.”

His words were honeyed in small talk, devoid of any true reason or purpose. In a way, Valter was both mocking and testing the supposed ringleader just to get a better grasp on the man’s mentality. He’d much rather ‘take the throne’ for himself than follow behind some ineffectual fool and get killed.

The red-haired man began walking closer to Filibuster. “Since none of these ‘free men’ are talking, I might as well do it myself. Just what the fuck is our plan once the shinigamis get here? Some of these motherfuckers don’t even have their zanpakutous with them yet!” he spoke out, stretching his arms wide as to refer to the convicts. “If we’re staging ourselves a rebellion, we better have a damn good agenda laid out, Filly.”

Sora too had followed the prisoners to the place where they had been called. He too had yelled with the mob. He too had shaken in apparent joy to Filibuster's speech. What he did then, however, was what made clear that he was not like the rebels around him. He shared a secretive nod with the man standing a few feet away from him, a stare that withheld a complicity that remained unknown to the rioters. Standing more than seven feet tall, Hiroto would normally stand out from any crowd, but with all the exitement going on, he could have been a raging Menos and still remain unnoticed.

Sora tried to keep looking like nothing more than another prisoner, but deep inside he was unease, for he knew what was coming upon his division. He just hoped the old man was in his position. He just hoped he could have followed the plan, that everyone was ready. But above all, he hoped that the woman, whose name he once again realized was still a mystery to him, was still in Seireitei. If everything went according to the plan, then probably they could get this done without sacrificing too many lives. He knew it was almost impossible that this happened, yet he still hoped things didn't get too much out of hand.

When he first heard of Filibuster, several mental images came to his mind. He thought of him as a clever mastermind, who intended to move the pieces of his plan in order to overthrow the control of Seireitei over the seventh division and make his way out of the reach of his persecutors. Therefore, he was quite surprised when he saw how the massive mob of prisoners recklessly charged out of the room, like a stampede of wild beasts that dame its way to the dread cliff where they would meet their end. It seemed like he had overestimated Filibuster's strategy. Or perhaps he just sought the liberation of himself and some of his friends, which would explain his willingness to let his forces run wild. So much for divine punishment.

So, carefully dodging his way out of the mob, the two reapers stayed behind. Soon, only Filibuster and a few of his men remained, together with Sora and Hiroto. The young reaper held back his laughter to the inconsistency of the so called revolutionary leader's plan. Apparently things were going to be much easier of what they had expected. They probably wouldn't even need the aid of other divisions. Sora listened to another death god present his question to Filibuster, and decided it would be a good idea to step up as well. Making a quick gesture to his friend to follow him, he walked towards Filibuster and spoke out.

"That's just what I was going to say!" Sora said in apparent agreement with the red haired reaper. "So far, you've only sent a mob of unarmed men to do nothing more than death god wave tactics. Any reaper with a functional brain would know that such plan cannot go on for too long against a force such as Seireitei's. So, supposing you're a competent leader, I must assume you have another plan besides sending hundreds of men to their deaths."

It was a valid question in Moegi's opinion. She was curious as the response of their leader. Tell a bunch of hardened convicts that you are freeing them - and taking down the group of people they hate the most - and they will follow you to the ends of the world and back again. For all they knew, this man was just going to use them as pawns or bait.

"And how do we know we're not just sacrifices?" she asked in a loud, demanding tone. Those in her immediate vicinity stopped shouting, and instead looked towards the man who had promised them freedom. "We, like those kind gentlemen have pointed out, are unarmed. I believe that before we continue this little pep rally, we should have our weapons returned to us." There were some murmurs of agreement. "You wouldn't want your men to go to battle without your weapons, would you?"

[153/280]

It was then that a thunderous roar erupted from the far side of the yard. All heads present turned, and they immediatly quaked in fear. Standing there, blocking the gateway to the freedom they so desired, were three men. But not just any three men. They were the go to men that the Captain had befriended from his very first days in the prison. They were his eyes, his ears, and his hands when he couldn't overtly work.

Now, however, they were his blades. Skeld stood in the center, his long blonde hair whipping in the wind, His sword sheathed and held in front of him planted on teh ground. Tsukai was to his left, a serene smile upon his face and simply holding his undrawn sword. On Skeld's right was Thanas, the Roman's feet planted and a small smirk upon his face. Skeld had been the one to roar, and he now spoke up.

"Just what do you think you are doing, eh? Escaping? You seem to have it all wrong. You think Ishin does nothing but follow the orders of the c46? He has kept you alive. Kept you breathing. Kept you fighting. How do you repay that trust? By inciting a rebellion the second he is away from the division. I don't know what you think happens here, but do you really think you can just walk out and do whatever you please? Like there will be no repercussions? You fools! Do you not realize that we are not simply allowed to walk about free, but that we are always watched? ALWAYS. Even now, there are those that watch and wait, wait for the moment you step out to strike. I will allow one person out, so that you may all see the validity of my claim. Please, let the first man be my guest."

He waved an arm at the door, signaling for any to be the first to leave. There was a general hesitation, as they were unsure as to what to do. One thing they all know. None of them wanted to be the first to step out.

Rosco had remained in the back of the crowd for most of the time. At first, he had contemplated the gathering of people around that sort of messiah that pontificated about Central Forty Six and his hidden agenda as if he had a master plan. The brown-haired man could see a lot of holes even in that makeshift initial proposition, not to speak of their lack of equipment. The only thing that could be said about the prisoners was that their hatred and resentment was burning and would probably be able to scorch a few faces, not so metaphorically speaking.

Considering the amount of time spent inside a deep cell, Rosco tasted the fresh air and the idea of freedom that had aroused the spirits of his mates. He knew well enough how fake such a concept could be. The bulky man would have killed each and every exponent of the Central Forty Six himself given the chance and be back outside would be a dream made real, but he also understood how difficult the plot Filibuster had laid before them was. Was he really so confident in his charisma when it came to keep people like them all in check? Giving them a unifying purpose was surely a good move, but if they were let loose, who would be able to control them all. Filibuster might be mighty, but he could not single-handedly handle the whole lot of those hot heads.

Rosco himself had been convinced by the obscure promise of letting himself having his revenge his own way. That meant a lot of murdering, killing and, on the overall, blood. The man contracted his impressive muscle and cracked his knuckles. He remembered pretty well what having his powers meant, back in the days, and he wanted his zanpakutou back. The convict had been imprisoned for criminal and inconsiderate use of its powers to the detriment of the figure of all death gods and for stone cold mass murder. As if his homicides were just about killing: they were art! The most beautiful and pure form of art Seireitei had ever seen in all its history.

Still listening to the various voices debating about the need for their weapons, which he totally agreed with, he observed with great interest the arrival of three particular individuals. Ah, Rosco pondered with a powerful emotion surging from within his inner self, each one of them would be a very impressive piece in my collection… Changing position and displaying active involvement in the events unfolding in front of him for the first time that morning, he waited to see the first idiot to walk forth. Punish one to educate hundreds. And them kill the other ninety nine as well.

Filibuster’s eyes fell on the questioning pair, his eyes almost questioning the validity of their question.

“Do you think I’m an idiot? Do you think this was the only stage of this plan we had planned out, and that I would seriously consider sending an unarmed mob in the heart of Seireitei and expect results? We’ve had this day planned since or imprisonment, and the first step is fully liberating the Seventh compound, and in doing so, the rest of your zanpakutou’, then we can proceed with…”

The thought was interrupted by the roar from across the yard. Nodding his head to the new speakers, Filibuster simply grinned as they finished their obnoxiously lengthy soliloquy.

“’Ishin has kept us alive? Kept us breathing and fighting?’” the man yelled back mockingly, “but for what? That breath, that life he has so graciously given us is a slave to the very organization that put us here. We’re nothing more than bodies to fling at the enemy, whose life or death isn’t given a second thought. Why should we fight for them? Why should we waste the remainder of our live for a regime we don’t believe in? Ultimately I think this uprising is proof we’d rather fight back against the Central Forty Six for our lives, than go to death for them another time.”

[222/577]

Sorry about the wait guys, RL called...

Damn, I thought Asians were supposed to be short, Hajinori thought, pushing his way past yet another monstrously tall Asian guy. He had abandoned his plan to stay in place after the crowd had stopped moving and someone or other had started shouting. Are imprisonment or death really my only two options, the dark-haired man thought to himself as he struggled to reach the back of the crowd. Judging by the words the mystery man had used to challenge the Glorious Leader of the Prisoner's Democratic Revolutionary Party, and the response, that seemed likely.

At last, Ryubo broke through the wall of apprehensive prisoners into the courtyard and tasted mostly fresh air for the first time in a long time. "Finally, freedom!" he cried joyously into the air.

128/274

The man of approximately average height landed outside the gate with a small group of shinigami. A crowd had gathered on the inside of the gate, but somehow just three had managed to keep them in.

Udo didn’t like the size of the crowd, but did like the lack of zanpakutou, and the lack of people charging at him. He walked up beside the blonde man in the middle, turned to him and said, “Eighth seat of the Eighth Division, Tabawara Udo. Would you like some assistance? Reinforcements are making their way on foot.”

The three guards looked confident, so the swordmage stood next to them without drawing his zanpakutou, content to let the situation play out until he knew more.

[121/469]

"This is quite the comedy now, is it?” Valter’s words rung blissfully within that now-silenced room. He figured that something would eventually come around to stop them, and alas, his grim premonition did come true.

The red-haired man’s voice was again, lacking any true meaning. Gazing down the four fools that stood between them and freedom, he slipped out a coy smile. In that room full of hardened criminals and ruthless cutthroats, what chance did these ‘guardians’ have of victory? Yes they may have had with them considerable strength, but the prisoners had with them the advantage of numbers... great numbers. Even with the assistance of the newly arrived soldier from the Eighth, such a force couldn’t hope to subdue a threat of great magnitude.

"It’s almost like a theatric play, really,” he continued on to say, ignoring the repartee Filibuster presented to the three. "Here comes the rebellion, and like clockwork, the warriors of justice and truth arrive in synchronized timing. It’s fucking beautiful.”

Directing his attention to the blonde on the middle, he spoke out once again, crossing his arms together, "Alright then, I’ll play along. Since I’m a ‘coward’ and afraid of death... and since nobody else here is man enough to actually step outside, let me ask this then: what, pray tell, is outside waiting for us? A battalion of others like you? The dogs of the Eighth, perhaps? Or could it possibly the dreaded Onmitsukido? I’m simply itching to know.”

The timing couldn't have been better; for the reinforcements, not for Sora. The recent events were in fact not too good for the young reaper's plans, but it was still something that could be easily arranged. Even through the sea of reapers, he could sense an important spiritual pressure coming from the division gates, which meant that Castigo Divino could be stopped on its tracks even earlier than what Sora had prognosticated. Things would need to be a little faster for him and his partners, especially because he doubted the reinforcements knew about his plans for that day. As far as he knew, the woman had only discussed this with her division captain and Sora himself, so none of the reapers from the other divisions would recognize him as an ally; and that was a huge problem.

"So what do we do now?" Hayashi whispered to him, so quietly that he barely understood his question. "Should we still go on with this?

"Don't worry, I can work around this," the reaper answered. "Just follow my lead."

Sora made a quick signal to a small number of reapers. With all that was going on, nobody noticed when they walked into the crowd. They walked with the reaper subtlety, making sure to keep their distance so nobody would notice them, and staying with the crowd while Sora walked onto Filibuster with his friend at his side.

"So, this the moment of truth, isn't it?" the reaper talked to the head of Castigo Divino. "Your revolutionary army is going to face a superior force unarmed and unorganized, while you brag about your ideals to people who could easily blast your men down before you could make a move. So, I guess the question is quite obvious now. What are you going to do?"

[300/842]

The three who stood in their way seemed far too cocky for her tastes. With all of the conviction in his words, it seemed as though he had forgotten the sheer mass of numbers. But there was something more that all of these inmates had on their side: the ability to fight no matter what. After years of mistreatment and confinement and psychological meltdown, did they think that these people could be contained just by their presence? When you have nothing to lose but your very life itself, you learn how easily the body will overcome fear and pain.

She stepped forward, sashaying her hips to draw a little bit of attention to herself. If everyone else was going to make a grande showing of these events, then she would as well. "My friend with the red hair has a point," the convict said in a sultry tone. "What exactly do we have to fear from you four?" There some slight murmurs of agreement in the crowd. "My fellows seem to agree with me. If we have gained one thing from this hell-hole, it is our perseverance."

She paused for a moment, making sure that the situation had built up enough hype.

"So please answer the question; why should we be afraid?"

[212/492]

It was at that exact moment that someone snapped. No one remembered his name, just some random faceless idiot. He was probably a new addition to the division. He didn't know who the three were or care about the newcomer. He simply wanted out. He raced towards the gate and to freedom.

Everything happened in an instant. The visitor from the 8th started to make a move, but Skeld reached a hand out and stopped him. It was immediately apparent to all present why. He made it as far as three steps from the gate. Right as a smile started to spread on his face, a sudden burning sensation flooded his body. His limbs felt like they were on fire. He tripped and fell, rolling to a stop a few feet away. When he looked down he saw why he had tripped.

His legs were swollen to twice their normal size and looked like big purple egg plants. As he looked at himself, he seemed to be inflating. First his legs, then his arms started to do it. It was then that a sudden blinding pain shot up his legs. He looked down to see his sandals and socks covered in blood. It was pouring out. As he watched, his fingers literally burst one by one, splattering blood everywhere. When that was done, tears started to form on the skin of his arms, and from the feeling it was probably happening to his legs as well. All the while his reiatsu was gushing out through the cuts. After a few moments of the tearing and bleeding, it got worse, if that had been possible. His arms literally twisted themselves like rags. There was a tearing sound, and then ragged strips of flesh were all that was left of his limbs. Last but not least, his vision started to blur. Those watching saw what was happening. Just like his other extremities, his head was expanding. Like cracks in glass, his skin split apart from itself and poured blood onto the ground. Then, at the end almost like a release from the pain, his head burst like an over ripe tomato. Skeld lo0oked from the mess to everyone else.

"Well, i warned you, did i not? That is what you currently have around your neck. It is a bomb hat floods your body with reiatsu that has been tainted. Its almost like it poisons your very reiatsu. The end result is what you just saw."

Things began to be interesting when two convicts moved forward to speak showing a bit of backbone, but got magnificent only when the poor devil decided to try his luck. They were not playing a game at all then. They had showed their cards open face, meaning that they would not last a single day in some of the darkest recesses of the Maggot Nest. That was something good to no, but Rosco’s rationality was put aside by wave over wave of intense pleasure for the performance just consumed in front of his eyes. He had been waiting for something like that for so long, incarcerated in a cell the dimension of a cupboard, that he realized his heart was racing and his blood was inflamed.

Clenching his fists and licking his lips lasciviously, Rosco step forwards, passing each arm around the redhead prisoner and the lady who had just spoken, before looking the three – pardon, four – guardians, who stood self-satisfied at the edge of the macabre remains of his fellow convict.

“Freedom is a wonderful world, we all agree on that,” the former reaper pointed out with an irreverent face, “but revenge, yes, that is what I’m here to exact…”

If it was for the brown-haired reaper, he would have started the fight right away, but that would have not given him the pleasure he was looking for. It was time for the officers to experience the despair that the prisoners had confronted for years.

“That was quite a show, my friend,” Rosco said without hesitation, smiling widely and wildly, “I enjoyed it so much I want to thank you dearly. On the other hand, I hope it was just the appetizer, for I have I certain hunger…”

There was only the space of a breath, before he began to intone, “The black serpent rises, the winged beast roars. Flames of Heaven and Hell converge, scorching the land in its fury. Corrupt dragon of the East, purge this world of life…”

[788]

“BLAM!”

Another sound ricochet through the compound just as another wave of yells filled the air.

“What are you doing?!” Filibuster’s voice filled the air, curiously amplified so that nothing could over take it.

“We won’t lose this chance due to stupidity. Do not try to leave this compound, not until we’re ready.” Quickly he turned for a moment to the prisoners closest to him, and nodded.

“Do it now, go to the guard station and break the door down. With our zanpakutou we can move onto the next phase, so that these things won’t matter anymore.” he gestured to the thing hanging around his own neck. After waiting to watch them leave he twirled flicked his enlarged zanpakutou and pointed it to the few still loyal prisoners he had been conversing with earlier.

“Do you think we haven’t prepared for this? It’s just a matter of time now before we get out of these gates that have held us in for so long.”

[163/740]

Ok guys, whoever wants to can be in the group that's headed to the guard station. I'd assume Bel and Wayne are a certainty cause you've written being near Filibuster. Everyone else keep the extraneous posting to a minimum please.

Rosco had nearly expected someone to appear to stop him, but nobody did, and a malicious grin flashed on his face before he concluded the enchantment.

“Hadou Number Seventy, Kokuryuha!” the prisoner uttered, without a second of remorse.

From the tip of the fingers of his outstretched arm, ebon smoke than burned the air around it like fire condensed in the shape of a ravenous black dragon, shrieking madly and wildly. As the dragon soared, darting in the direction of the door and of the four guardians just beyond its threshold, the attention of most of the convicts in the court was captured by the dark spell. As soon as the energies had been released, the brown-haired magician raised a fist, stirring up the hearts and souls of his fellow revolutionaries. As a single man, the prisoners took power by the sight of the unquenchable flames burning hungrily in the area of the door and hymned choruses of freedom and revenge.

Rosco himself was touched by such a massive response, yet he knew that his work was not finished. It had barely started, when all is said and done. Considering those around him, he weighted their signatures and measured their stances: even if they were not top classes, they should suffice for the time being. They needed their weapons back, so if someone were going to retrieve them, the more the confusion they were able to produce, the easier the recovery job.

“Friends,” Rosco roared over the thunderous outcry, parading his most charming attitude, “we now regain our freedom fighting tooth and nail till the end!”
