Inhumanity

Having finally accepted the darkness within him, Arano becomes a vessel for it. His skin turns a bone white, with his pupils and iris switching colors within his eyes. His body becomes subject to any manner of self-mutilation via his own powers, allowing it to be morphed and twisted beyond its human shell.

Inception

The once painful and slow process of creating weapons from Arano’s Awakening has begot a near mastery of it, allowing him to creating weapons from his own body. The resilience of the weapon's durability is determined by the reiatsu infused into it, and the speed at which these bones are created/launched is decided by his combat stat. The shape of these weapons is crude at best, but so long as Arano’s reiatsu can supplement it then a rough imitation of just about any weapon can be made.

The costs of the created weapons is dependent upon the size of the construct, allowing for a projectile weapons to be made at the cost of 1% reiatsu. Shikai sized items (6’ x 4’) cost 3% reiatsu, and bankai sized items (15’ x 10’) cost 5% reiatsu. If he so wishes, he may use a higher paying cost to increase the resilience of a smaller item.

[Mikansei]
Incompletion

Through sheer force of will, Arano can alter his own bones beyond their normal properties. This allows him to alter the state of matter or shape of the bone. This costs him 1% of his reiatsu per construct altered. A single construct of materials can be altered per use of Mikansei.

[Warikirenai]
Indivisible

Arano’s inherent, almost excessive use of his own powers has resulted in them gaining a deeper connection with him than what should have been possible. Merging his control of marrow into a new skill, he has learned to bring his manipulation of the two to unprecedented heights.

As such, by paying 2% of his reiatsu per turn used, he may manipulate his bones within 10 yards of himself, with their speed defined by his combat stat. The manipulated materials inherently mimic and follow his own natural movements sub-consciously, but by fully concentrating on the manipulation he may direct them freely (within reason, they are still subject to all natural laws of the world).
 
“Shi no kami no te”, Death’s Divine Hand

Appearance: The nodachi Caishin wields becomes almost the caricature of a sword. The nimbus of wind has become larger in every dimension, becoming almost nine feet long, and three feet broad, from the edge to the backing of the blade. The blade is thicker along the back, but narrows down to the keen edge expected of a Zanpakutou. Further, a full suit of iridescent ever-shifting plate armor surrounds Caishin’s body, the basic hue of which depends on Caishin’s motivations and the delicate balance between the four spirits that make up his sword.

Ability: “Shi no yoroi”, Death’s Armor
Upon invoking his bankai, Ri can summon forth the full-plate suit described above, actually a spirit in its own right. “Shi no yoroi” requires all of reiatsu Ri gained from bankai, and further requires the investment of 25% of Ri’s reiatsu. The symbiosis between Caishin and "Shi no yoroi" is near-perfect, and Caishin can move and fight as normal even as he is enclosed by Death's Armor.

Attack: "Shi no shūnen", Death's Tenacity
Death's Armor is able to ignore minor and moderate wounds, although this provides no protection against severe or more serious wounds.​
Attack: "Shi no sensai", Death's Subtlety
Death's Armor is able to cloak itself, similar to Ri's shikai ability, "Kaze no Manto". When active, the armor (and anything in it) along with anything wielded becomes detectable only by touch and scent, although secondary and tertiary effects of his actions cannot be hidden. Death's Armor must pay 10% of its reiatsu every round to maintain or engage this ability. Abilities that cost less than Shi no sensai's maintenance costs cannot pentrate the protection. As before, attacking disrupts the delicate manipulations required, and Caishin (and the armor) become detectable in the moment of attack.
Attack: "Shi no ken", Death's Sword
Caishin is able to form a second sword of compressed reishi particles. This sword requires 30% of Ri's reiatsu to form the blade, which can be of any shape Caishin desires (usually a complement to his large Zanpakutou), but no larger than his own Zanpakutou. This sword is able to interact with all forms of energy, including, but not limited to, barriers. Energy constructs the sword interacts with are affected by his Zanjutsu stat as normal. If the construct remains, as much energy as necessary is subtracted from the blade to destroy the construct. If the construct happens to be a barrier, if the blade is able to pass through (ie, able to destroy the barrier), the swing of the blade is effectively not slowed at all, the destruction of the barrier happening in the moments between time.

Ri is able to infuse the sword with more reishi particles as necessary to maintain the sword's strength.​

Release Phrase: Strike down from the Darkness of the Light, Kuroi Inazuma

Form Change: The sword itself does not change in shape or size. The hilt has only one minor change, it turns white.The guard turns into a glossy white square with the edges curved in. The blades shape stays the same but its color becomes black and is surrounded by a small dark static.

In Kaito's Inner world everything is black and white excluding himself and lightning. The world itself is empty and the ground is a never ending surface of water.

Ability:
Seitekina bōei (Static Defence):Costs 5% Reiatsu.
The blade and its wielder becomes surrounded by a black lightning emitting a read aura. It doesn’t harm it’s wielder but if someones presence other than the wielder enter near its encompassed area it will immediately discharge a harmful release of static. (The wielder can not move during this ability.)

Rakurai: Costs 3% Reiatsu.
It sends out a shot of lighting at an incredible speed that but is limited to 18 metre's, it's speed on which it reaches that distance, depends on zanjutsu and once the blade is pointed in the direction of its shot.

Sei-den hōden (Static Discharge)
: Costs 3% Reiatsu.
Takes 3 seconds to charge his blade before firing a big wall of black static electricity it the direction pointed at or when the zanpaktou is swung it releases a beam of black static electricity in its direction.
 
Just to make sure everything is good, I am going to post the kai with the changes you suggested. Ability has no cost, and the extension was turned into an attack all its own.

Sealed: Having grown along with Akio’s own resolve, the sealed form of Gouryu has evolved to take the shape of a katana. The weapon measures a full thirty inches from base to tip. A sturdy tsuka of willow holds the tang of the weapon, forming a solid grip comfortable for two hands. The tsuka-ito is fashioned from silk and dyed a deep shade of blue. Made from steel, the tsuba is shaped like a rectangle, and matches the plain silver kashira. A black-lacquered saya of willow, polished and well maintained, is the resting place for the simple yet elegant weapon.

Manifestation: A barren wasteland as far as the eye can see, hard ground void of trees and grass in every direction. The sky has no moon, no sun, and no stars; instead, inky-black clouds blanket the realm. An eerie twilight glow covers the land, like the calm before a heavy storm. The distant cries of thunder can be heard, and the occasional flash of lightning, but no other sounds nor events can be seen. When Akio is wrought with emotion, showers are known to fall, with varying intensity, in the dimension.

Gouryu himself appears to Akio as a small boy, no older than nine or ten years old, wearing a tattered blue kimono decorated with elegant gold designs. Brown hair falls to about earlobe level, and black eyes peer out of his youthful face. The spirit is barefoot, and he carries a simple umbrella made of bamboo and dark red cloth that rivals the boy in height. A serpentine dragon tail sprouts from the boy’s lower back, and is covered in glossy black scales.

The spirit constantly scowls, and speaks with an arrogant tone.

Pour Down (furi sosoge; 降り注げ)

Form: Gouryu’s release takes the form of a yari, or spear, that measures a little over nine feet from end to end. A double-edged and symmetrical blade that measures three feet from caps the weapon. It has become thicker and slightly more weighted with its evolution. The round nakae is made of oak, and measures six feet in length, complete with black-lacquered bamboo strips that give the weapon a glossy appearance. The ishizuki (pommel) of the weapon is a simple metal cap. Attached to the base of the weapon is a fist-sized metal sphere that adds weight to the weapon; it can also be used as a blunt instrument.

Upon the release of Gouryu, a mass of dark clouds forms a canopy above the battle field, lingering 100 feet above Akio and stretching outwards fifty feet.

[Kosame]

When the powers of Gouryu are manifested on the physical plain, the sky darkens ominously as a fraction of the Storm Dragon’s might is released. Accompanied by the rumble of thunder deep within the bowels of the dark clouds that are summoned by the invocation of the first release, rain begins to fall within the radius of the cloud cover in thin but steady sheets, drenching the area in a matter over the course of a few moments.

Each turn, Akio may garner up to a single gallon of water from the surrounding area, causing it to take the form of a shimmering helix of ever swirling water that constantly orbits his body, following the movements of the mighty spear. For every accumulated gallon, Akio may produce a knockback effect that blasts away anyone who is struck with the spear. One foot of knockback may be produced for every gallon of accumulated water. The maximum amount of water Akio may control at any given time is determined by his connection statistic, allowing him to command up to twenty-five gallons at any one time.

Attack: By paying 100 reiatsu per accumulated gallon, Akio may release the stored water in concussive bursts and splitting arcs directed as he pleases by using the spear as a medium. The maximum range any one projectile can travel before dispersing is fifty feet.​
 
Name: Kokuo no Kengeki (King of Weapons).

Form: Kokuo no Kengeki’s form is Yosuke’s Reiatsu itself. He manipulates his Reiatsu into a physical form, letting him use it as a weapon. When he activates his awakening, his already crystal blue eyes take on an eerie blue glow.

[Ability 1] Weapon Imaging-

To create a weapon, Yosuke must spend 10% of his Reiatsu, regardless of the weapons size. The summoned weapons durability is equal to Yosuke’s combat stat. In the event Yosuke should choose to make a ranged weapon with the 10% Reiatsu cost, each shot will drain 20% of the weapon's durability, allowing five shots to be fired.

Inner World: Tokiwa’s inner world is a post-apocalyptic Tokyo, over grown with plants and falling apart no matter which part she ends up in.

Spirit: The spirit of Murasaki appears as the former captain of the Ninth Division, Saika Rakushun. Resurrecting the man just the way he was when he still held his captaincy over the Research and Development Division, the way Toki remembers him best. (Kev offered to let me use Saika for this.)

Form Change:
Once released, the zanpakutou bursts into an seemingly glowing plume of purple smoke which continues to be emitted through out the turn until reaching its maximum size of 30 feet in diameter. Slowly the purple smoke drifts upwards, only coming to rest once it has roofed over Tokiwa and her opponent.


Ability:
The shape of the purple smoke can be altered, giving Toki the ability to create nearly any form needed at that moment from the colored steel. The items created from the smoke are limited however, and nothing requiring a great amount of detail can be pulled from the sky. This leaves only crude shapes such as another bladed weapon or a hand. Once the thought is made to return the smoke to its original form, a zanpakutou, control of shaping and direction is lost. Any objects solidified will burst into smoke and return to the zanpakutou once again.

At the cost of 15% Reiatsu Tokiwa can make an item of zanpakutou strength, or pay 100 rei to create a small 100 rei durable item.

She can only create five (5) objects, then plus one (+1) for every one thousand (1k) connection that is earned at any one (1) time. She may make up to only two (2) creations per turn until the maximum number of five (5) or more is reached.

Vizard Attack:
By expending 4% Rage and 3% Reiatsu and gaining 2% Emptiness, Tokiwa can detonate any object on the field she has created as if it were a bomb.

|Greed|

Form:
Maxwell has always operated by his own rules with little to no regrets. The dim-witted man has held a steadfast dedication to his own selfish needs, even if those desires directly inhibit the missions he is sent on. When it came to getting a good cigar at the right time, nothing could stop the brute from achieving his own self-centered goal. Growing and prospering as an Advent Human has only strengthened his resolve, causing the powers he wields to directly relate to the desires that he obsessively attempts to fulfill. In his Initial Awakening, even reality begins to heed the bulky man's stubborn call, bending the laws of the world to cater to the man's greed. There are no outward signals that he has awakened, other than the plentiful amount of items he is seemingly able to withdraw from thin air.

Pocket Full of Rainbows:
Maxwell's almost constant desire for a good cigar and high quality bottle of gin caused his awakening to alter reality in order to grant the heavy handed man an ability to call forth spiritually enhanced items effortlessly. From a simply cigar to a high priced race car, anything that the boxer can wrap his head around can be called forth anywhere within twelve meter radius around him at a cost of 3% of his maximum reiatsu. Items created using this ability an not be larger than 6 meters in length.

If the item created is used to attack someone, it deals normal damage based on his combat stat. The durability of the items reflect the cost paid for them. Maxwell can only create one item a turn for every one thousand Harmony. Items created using this ability persist until their durability has decreased to zero. Once an Item is created, it obeys all physical laws of the realm it occupies.

Get Me Outta Here!: Due to the man's bulky frame, Maxwell has always despised simply being in confined spaces. This desire to be placed in more comfortable places and situations has formed into an ability that allows him to quickly escape situations that cause him discomfort. He accomplishes this by simply being somewhere else at that point in time, no matter how improbable his new location may be.

By paying two percent of his Reiatsu, the narcissistic American is capable of removing himself from his current position and placing himself in any position within twenty meters of his original position. This ability has it's limitations however, being unable to transport through barriers made up of Reiatsu greater than it's cost. The removal and replacement of the man's very existence is also taxing, resulting in a threshold equal to his resistance.

Somebody Else's Problem: An ability forged from Maxwell's narcissistic tendencies. In his awakened state, the alterations of the gold haired man brings about what he believes to be perfection. The form of his awakened state also causes the bullheaded man to believe he is immune to all forms of damage. These two beliefs have caused the man to regard any attack instigated against him as somebody else's problem, causing reality itself to deflect the attacks away from him.

This ability consumes five percent of the former boxer's reiatsu, and is capable of deflecting up to two hundred percent of it's value in attacks. Afterwards, the ability cannot be used for two turns.

Shi Kai - Kazeoni [Wind Demon] “Scatter, Kazeoni.”

Form: As soon as the release phrase is uttered, the sealed zanpakutou shatters and transforms to a hefty double-sided katana. To Ryoujin, the blade feels as light as a feather. However, should anyone else attempt to wield Kazeoni, he or she will be completely vulnerable to its bulk. During shikai, the weapon itself loses the star hand-guard, leaving nothing but the exposed steel and grip. On its now blood-red blade, an inscription in kanji is written, loosely translating to, "I am the wind, existing everywhere and nowhere. I am the gale, the tempest, and the twister, purging life from this barren earth of sins."

Kazeoni is the personification of wind itself. He is said to have no identity, taking the form of a warrior. Armor and plating of the finest crafted steel protects him from harm. Usually, he can be found surrounded by a number of floating weapons. The only visible attribute that can be seen through the mask plating are blue wisps of smoke. The lower half of his body is visible at times, but if he so wishes, he can transition into and out of reality. Similarly, his body is impervious to physical means of touch if so he wishes.

Enclosed by a chain of rugged mountains and valleys, Ryoujin's inner world can be described as divided. Depending on Kazeoni's mood, the Templar can be transported to either the flourishing citadel above or the ancient ruins of an empire long forgotten. Scattered around the inner world, there are multiple weapons that have been stabbed into the ground, ranging from newly refurbished spears to battle worn swords. No matter where Ryoujin may end up, a strong gust of wind is always blowing. Above, the sky is surrounded by dark clouds. Despite this fact, sunlight manages to stream into the plane through various gaps and spaces in between.

Ability: The sole ability of Kazeoni allows Ryoujin to craft any weapon that he so chooses, ranging from swords, spears, etc. Each weapon that is summoned has the physical properties of the original and can harm spiritual beings(ie: If a sword is summoned, it is made of steel...). By paying 15% of his reaitsu, he can summon these weapons. At first, it started off as only one. After training vigorously, Ryoujin can summon up to ten blades maximum at once if he so wishes (one weapon starting at 1k connection, + an extra for every 1k connection after that. This caps out at 10k connection). The movement, speed, and the amount of control that Ryoujin has over the summoned weapons is determined by his Zanjutsu stat.

Attack: At a cost of 5% of his reiatsu, Ryoujin is able to supercharge each weapon. Imbued with the biting force of a powerful gust, each weapon works in tandem to produce one huge slash-shockwave which travels forward towards an approaching enemy. It can travel at a flat 30 feet.

Senkou Tsume (Flash Claw)

Release Command: Kihai, Senkou Tsume! (Dodge, Flash Claw!)

Manifestation: Senkou Tsume takes the form of a mongoose. Unlike most mongeese, he is the size of a horse. His fur is a deep silver instead of the normal brown and his eyes are the same emerald shade as Hikaru’s.

Senkou Tsume makes liberal use of sarcasm and logic, and enjoys making fun of his wielder. He is blunt and hates flowery language, preferring instead to jump straight to the heart of the situation. Not for him the enigmatic riddles and mystery-heavy words of other Zanpakuto. If there is something Hikaru needs to do, he’ll tell him.

Form: As Hikaru utters the release phrase, the blade elongates and warps, transforming into a side-sword characteristic of medieval Europe. The crosspiece is worked so that the prongs look like mongoose heads. The handle is wrapped with a mahogany cloth.

In addition, a buckler appears in Hikaru’s left hand. A stylized mongoose head is engraved on the buckler’s middle, and the rim depicts a ring of mongeese chasing each other around the buckler.

Attack 1: Sendan Karoyaka (Shearing Light)

For 2% of his reiatsu, Hikaru may call forth crackling emerald lightning around his side-sword. Upon contact, the lightning discharges explosively, essentially sending a high pulse of lightning into the target area at such strength that it detonates instaneously. The strength of the explosion is valued at the price of reiatsu placed into it. The lightning initially called around the blade will last for five such strikes, after which it will dispel. Hikaru must wait four turns before being able to call upon it again.

Shikai: Gakuryoku (Scholarship)


Ability: Kyokukan(Siphon)

The single ability of Hisao’s zanpakutou is constantly active. The old’s man reliance on kidou to defend himself has caused his weapon to be able to draw off energy from the very demon arts its master is so dependent upon. Whenever a kidou, cero, gintou, or release ability is used within 15m of Hisao 10% of the reiatsu cost of the ability is stored within Gakuryoku. This energy can only be used for the sole purpose of casting more spells and does not take away from the actual damage of the ability used. The total amount of stored reiatsu in Gakuryoku cannot exceed more than 50% of Hisao’s kidou stat and is always drained first when a spell is cast.

Shikai Vizard Attack: Namaru Kyokukan (Corrupted Siphon)

When Hisao's accumulated rage reaches 20% or more, his inner hollow effects the normal ability of his shikai augmenting it to increase its siphoning by 5%. All other limitations of the ability continue to exist.


Ban Kai: Seme no Kashikoi Gakusha (Persecution of the Wise Scholar)


Form: Upon announcing bankai, Gaku forcibly manifests himself as a small bamboo forest, hundreds of shoots appear over a 30m radius around Hisao’s original position each about 10m tall. Each has the durability of a normal shoot of bamboo, however due to the sheer volume of reiatsu coursing through the forest any damaged or uprooted shoots regrow at the beginning of Hisao’s turn.

Ability: Endai Kyokukan (Grand Siphon)

The draining nature of Hisao’s shikai has been amplified to affect every being caught within Hisao’s forest. The shoots now drain 20% of the cost of any kidou, gintou, cero, faction techniques, release abilities, feats, and basic techniques. This energy can only be used for the sole purpose of casting more spells or for use in his bankai attacks and does not take away from the actual damage of the ability used. The total amount of stored reiatsu in Gakusha cannot exceed Hisao’s kidou stat though Hisao now gains the ability to decide whether to spend his own reiatsu or the reiatsu stored in his kai.

Attack: Oomawari (To Detour)

The fundamental nature of Hisao’s kai is to affect the bonds controlling reiatsu manipulation, as such his attacks are far harder to manipulate against him than usual. The siphon within the bankai feeds Hisao’s own attacks with the reiatsu it extracts eliminating outside interference. This translates as allowing his bypassed kidou spells to be valued at 70% of their natural strength rather than the normal 50%. Additionally any outside abilities affecting the cost of Hisao’s kidou or cero must be greater than the 20% siphoned before Hisao must pay them.

Attack: Oshoku (To Corrupt)

By actively paying 1% reiatsu per round Hisao can seal one ability his siphon effects per opponent. The ability selected to be sealed must have previously been siphoned. Unique to this attack, reiatsu spent on it is not subject to any other boosting ability i.e it is not subject to Hisao’s siphon. Up to five targets may be active at any one time but the cost must be paid for each.

Attack: Oitsuku (To Overtake)

Using the principle of Gakuryoku’s siphoning, Hisao can actually over run an opponent’s attack and send it back at them. To accomplish this Hisao must first sacrifice reiatsu equal to the attack from his pool and then pay the same cost from his own reiatsu. Hisao’s reiatsu then floods into the attack draining it of color and sending it back at its user. Damage dealt by this attack is equal to what it would have originally been for better or worse.

Using spec point from the Tournament (2nd Place) to resub my third bankai attack and clean up the rest of the kai abilities/names. Summary of changes at the bottom.

As a side note, I'm keeping my version of the spelling/pronunciation (Karil), but adopting the meaning/kanji for Karyuu.

Utsushi dasu, Karil (Reflect, Karil).
Appearance:
The hilt of Sayis' zanpakuto takes on a dark grey hue, similar to his hair, and the handle becomes wrapped in fine chain. Although it lengthens noticeably to a size comfortable for two hands, the hilt is otherwise unremarkable.

The blade of Karil lengthens and the width increases to the size of Sayis' open palm. The blade, though strong, is spread quite thin. Despite the size of the hilt, the blade is still of a size easily handled by one hand.

One side of Karil's blade is completely transparent. The other side is a perfect mirror. The blade is, therefore, difficult to see under normal conditions, especially in motion.
Spirit:
Moving between shadows, the zanpakuto spirit is often revealed only by the silver glow of his predatory eyes. Taking the form of a large black cat with dark grey stripes, Karil is one for stalking his prey. He speaks gruffly, but displays wisdom and intelligence.

Combining wits with skill helps in earning the spirit's respect. Planning and timing are just as important as improvisation and ferocity to the dark feline.

The black-furred tiger respects his enemies and rarely rushes blindly into any combat. Once battle is joined, however, Karil resents the idea of falling back. The patience during the hunt must be matched with viciousness during battle, so the cat believes, and so the cat expects of its wielder.
Zenhansha (Total Reflection)
If Sayis can bring the blade of his sword to bear, the mirrored side has the ability to reflect kidou and kidou-like abilities that strike it, by paying the reiatsu cost of each attack. This is an angled deflection, however, so Sayis must be wary of where the reflected attack will end up.

The ability costs 5% of his reiatsu.
Kanzenhansha (Perfect Reflection)
While facing the mirrored side of Karil toward an enemy, Sayis can attempt to learn more about a target. Karil can roam freely within the clear image held in the blade and can ascertain information about targets seen there, which is immediately relayed to his wielder.

For one round, Karil might determine the target's name. For two rounds, the target's area of expertise might be revealed (for example, a zanjutsu specialist, or a high-speed hollow). The longer this goes on, Karil continues to delve deeper.

The difference in reiatsu between target and user affects how much information is obtained per round. Targets with reiatsu at least twice as much as Sayis' may actually sense that they are being watched.

Bankai

Name:
Kagami-kiwa no Kariudo (Seeker of the Mirror's Edge)
Form:
Sayis' eyes take on the same silver sheen that Karil's have.

The ground beneath Sayis illuminates in an immense circular pattern with a teal eight-pointed spinning star spreading out from the center. There are nine circles, one in the center and the rest at the tips of the star. There are various esoteric and powerful symbols throughout the area, inside and outside the star. The circles and other symbols give off bright silver light.

The blade of Sayis' shikai explodes outward into millions of tiny glass fragments. This glass dust fills the air around Sayis in a 30m radius. Mostly invisible, the glass winks and flashes into sight periodically, giving the air within Kagami-kiwa no Kariudo's influence an unsettling sparkling quality. Those within the area immediately feel as if they're being watched, and will at times see a pair of silver eyes or the shadowy form of a panther prowling around them.

Kagami-kiwa no Kariudo's hilt widens and forms a bright silver semi-circular guard from top to bottom. Its metal is etched with runes and kanji around the edges. An insubstantial blur in the air, the blade expands outward to 2m in length and 40cm in width. Despite its size, being immaterial it is still easily wielded in one hand -- the only weight is in the hilt. This blade immediately takes on the effects of Ranhansha Nakami.
Ability - Kanzenhansha Ittai (Perfect Reflection Zone)
Targets that fall within Kagami-kiwa no Kariudo's area are automatically under the effect of Kanzenhansha Ittai. Each round that they are within the glass field, Sayis garners more information about them. This will begin with simple things, such as names, but the ability digs deeper with every turn. Weaker targets do not even realize how much of themselves is being displayed. With each sparkle in the air or glimpse of feral eyes, more of their inner selves are laid bare.

The longer a battle goes on, the more Sayis will understand his opponents... both as people and as combatants.

Once a kai, awakening, or resurreccion has been released, within three rounds Sayis can understand the workings of it; with hollow abilities, he understands one per round.

Before such abilities are released or after Sayis has learned how they work, he will come to understand all standard techs in one round. An additional round will reveal all division and faction techniques. All general feats are revealed with one additional round. Trained and Unique Feats take one more round each.
Attack - Ranhansha Nakami (Diffused Reflection Blade)
At a cost of 2% reiatsu per round, Sayis can imbue his sword with any equipped kidou of up to two slots, reflecting and expanding or condensing the spell into the shape of the blade. This gives the sword a distinct appearance and grants the sword the properties of the kidou, of a relative strength to the reiatsu spent on Ranhansha Nakami.

Sayis can unleash the imbued kidou either when striking the enemy or by launching the kidou from the blade itself. Doing this counts against his kidou spells for that round. A new spell may not be imbued until the following round.

When not imbued, Kagami-kiwa no Kariudo's semi-transparent blade can only be used to block, not cut.
Attack - Zenhansha Kigou (Total Reflection Symbols)
Drawing on his zanjutsu stat, Sayis is capable of condensing the glass powder surrounding him into the kanji for Zenhansha Kigou (全反射記号) in order to block kidou and kidou-like effects such as Cero. Sayis can reflect the energy back as if he had cast it himself (for better or worse). The ability costs 10% of his reiatsu, each kanji able to block 2% or reflect 1%. The energy in one kanji is completely used up with each block or reflection.

Sayis may use any of the five simultaneously or individually. One kanji dissipates at the end of each round.

Thanks to the effects of Kanzenhansha Ittai, in most cases Sayis will be aware of how much reiatsu is necessary even when unfamiliar with the attack being used.
Attack - Muhansha Haji (End Without Reflection)
Choosing a spell to enact this with, Sayis physically manifests the incantation of the spell out of the mirrored fragments of Kagami-kiwa no Kariudo in his domain. Designating one target within 10m, the incantations appear in the air 5m from the target before rapidly closing in on the target to bind them. While bound, the target is faced with the reflection of their true selves.

On the following round, if the target cannot escape the binding, the spell is unleashed.

Muhansha Haji costs 5% reiatsu (binding) plus the cost of the spell. In the turn that Muhansha Haji is activated, the chosen spell counts as one of Sayis' spells for that round.

Changes:

Shikai: Zenhansha adjusted to 1:1 cost for deflection.

Bankai: Changed name.
Kanzenhansha Ittai: simplified the learning process and added a clear progression of what information is obtained first.
Ranhansha Nakami: Changed name. Increased cost to 2%. Removed additional cost to cast the spell from the blade since that's kind of what the ability is meant for.
Zenhansha Kigou: Adjusted so that it blocks 1:1 but requires 2:1 to reflect. Loses 1/5th of its strength each round.
Muhansha Haji: New ability, replacing the kidou amp.
 
Since I can do this, Shade you are Approved with a change. Just note that To Overtake should have a fixed cost, and let him catch/return things at or less then that cost (example: Zenhansha Kigou).

Welp Even though Tsuneo is dying in PMs, I decided to throw caution to the wind and submit a bankai for him anyways. It's probably overpowered but I just wanted to get somethign down before I left for a quick vacation.

Shikai: Rihi (Judgement)

Release Command:“Sprint, Rihi!”

Appearance
By using the release command while resheathing the sealed zanpakuto, Tsuneo initiates activation. Upon activation, Rihi undergoes a slight transformation. The entire blade, hilt included, takes on a brilliant white hue that seems to almost glow, even in the absence of an exterior source of light. The blade becomes longer and thinner, essentially becoming lighter and easier to maneuver. The hilt is also elongated, allowing for plenty of room for Tsuneo to place his hands. The tsuba disappears, thus streamlining the blade even further.

Manifestation
Rihi is manifested as a nondescript being formed from what would appear to be pure light. Faceless and lacking any distinguishing features, the zanpakuto’s manifestation can almost be seen as a partial being, almost as if the manifestation itself is incomplete.

Abilities:
1. Orbiting Rihi:

By paying 5% of his reiatsu, Tsuneo can conjure an orb of energy that remains close to him. Any kidou-like energy (Cero, gintou, kidou) or even a reiatsu based attack equal or lesser the strength, will be completely absorbed by this orb. Should the power of the attack be greater than the cost of this orb, Tsuneo will take damage equal to the amount of the overage. This orb cannot be harmed by physical attacks.

2. Mark of Rihi:
Any wound Tsuneo inflicts with Rihi will form a crest in the form of a lightning bolt on that wound. By paying 800 reiatsu, this lightning bolt serves as a magnet for the next kidou or reiatsu-based attack whether by friend or foe. This mark lasts for 3 rounds or until the enemy is impacted by the effects of this ability. Only one of these marks may exist at one time. Tsuneo must inflict another wound on his opponent with Rihi if he wishes to create the mark again. If Orbiting Rihi is active at the same time as this ability, Mark of Rihi will take precedent. This only applies to attacks that cost up to two times the cost of this ability.

3. Wrath of Rihi:
Any limb previously struck by Tsuneo that possesses the Mark of Rihi can be temporarily paralyzed. This effect expresses itself as an electrical shock to the specified limb. The cost of this ability is 500 reiatsu. The effect lasts for one turn and clears the opponent of the mark as well.

Bankai: Saishuu no Rihi (Final Judgement)

Appearance:
Rihi’s appearance during Bankai doesn’t vary much from its shikai form. The blade achieves a total transparency, looking more like glass than steel, and the hilt elongates further, again increasing its streamlined nature. The wielder’s clothing, however, become skintight, allowing for easy movement.

Ability:
Mark of Rihi:
Any wound Tsuneo inflicts with Rihi will form a crest in the form of a lightning bolt on that wound. The crest will remain on the stricken being for the duration of Rihi’s release, only disappearing once Rihi is returned to its sealed state. There is no limit to the number of crests that can exist at any given time.

Attacks:

Just Reciprocation
By paying 7% of his reiatsu, Tsuneo can magnetize a single crest within a fifteen yard radius. The crest serves as a magnet for the next kidou or reiatsu-based attack whether by friend or foe. This magnetism lasts until the turn after the enemy is impacted by the effects of this ability, after which Tsuneo will have to pay the cost again to remagnetize his foe if he so desires.

Judgement’s Bonds
By paying 5% of his reiatsu, Tsuneo can send a paralyzing electrical charge to all of the lightning crests within a fifteen yard radius. For three turns, a crested foe within the radius will be unable to move. In order to escape the effects of this ability, a foe must pay double thereiatsu cost that Tsuneo paid to paralyzed them, whether this is by using an ability or simply paying the reiatsu cost.

Manifestation: Originally, Xiezhi looked nothing more than a miniature European dragon with no wings. He stood three feet high with bronze scales lining nearly every part of his body. Each of his feet had three pearly-white claw, but as Haresuno slowly grew so, too, did Xiezhi. Three became four, and then four became five. Small spikes lined his reptilian back, from where his shoulders touched and down to the tip of his tail. Each spike was the same pearl-white color as his claws, and the majestic horn which curved away from his snout.

The spirit shares Haresuno cold, calculating azure eyes, but his are slitted. As if there on purpose - to show a stark contrast in balance - Xiezhi has two obsidian-black fangs that protrude from either side of his snout.

Now, however, Xiezhi is a full blown dragon. So massive that he nearly rivals Yggdrasil. He still retains the bronze scales, but now has a soft underbelly where corded muscles and veins can be seen underneath the flesh. The spikes and horn (now horns) are no longer white. Now they match the spirit’s bronze body. Only his fangs, claws, and eyes remain the same.

Even his mood has changed. From cold and testing, to friendly and accepting. This drastic change is attributed to the return of his full body, as well as the fact that Haresuno’s inner world is no longer simply a desolate desert. Now at the heart of the desert lies a forest - a true paradiso.

Command: Rei (Strive or Encourage)

Form: Xiezhi losses it’s katana appearance, and instead takes on the form of an intricate bronze-like staff. The etched design of Xiezhi is meant to give off the appearance that the staff is made from scales laid next to one another. While it looks like a staff, this is not Xiezhi’s true form, and when Haresuno wills it to Xiezhi emits a curved blade from either end. Revealing that it is, in fact, a scythe. The blade is made up of Haresuno’s reiatsu, and as such appears as a pulsing serrated edge with wisps trailing off every now and again.

Abilities:

Gekitai (Repulse/Repel) - By channeling 5% reiatsu into Xiezhi, Haresuno can create a powerful repelling force, which forces his target toward or away from himself within a 20 ft radius. The directions are straight and are designated by the thrust or slice of either Xiezhi’s head or Haresuno’s empty hand. Another effect of Gekitai is that anything similar to it cannot effect Haresuno or Xiezhi.

Shuugyou (Discipline) - Because Xiezhi can be either a staff or a scythe, whose styles are from respective schools of Hakuda and Zanjutsu, Haresuno is granted the benefit of a collective stat to compensate for his requirement to learn both schools.

Description: Upon releasing bankai an enormous oak tree materializes behind Haresuno. The tree is in full bloom and as time progresses the leaves turn and then begin to fall, transitioning from summer to winter. When the final leaf falls, Haresuno has reached the limit of his bankai.

The tree itself fifty feet in height with massive roots and branches.

The bronze staff of Haresuno's shikai, 6'8" in length, separates into five equal pieces which slowly revolve around him. Within a five foot radius, Haresuno is able to control these rods at will, individually or connected together, coating them in his glowing white reiatsu, giving them a bladed edge. Haresuno can also project a gleaming white blade out up to twice the length of the rods in-hand.

Ability - Kishi (Knight): With the new form of his Bankai, Haresuno now has multiple weapons at his disposal. Due to their unique properties at being multi-weapons, Haresuno retains his collective stat. When not in hand each rod should be considered equal to Haresuno’s zanjutsu stat.

Attack - Koushou Gekitai (Advanced Repulse): No longer is Gekitai bound to a single direction at a time. At a cost of 1% reiatsu per rod per round, Haresuno imbues the weapons with a charge, able to create a diameter or line force with any number of the rods. Haresuno and Sekiryoku Houshiki Xiezhi are immune to similar effects such as the Shou and Daishou.

Attack - Uchikesu (To Deny): By paying 5% of his reiatsu, Haresuno may attach two rods to an opponent and reverse their power - causing energy abilities, spells, and other projectiles within thirty feet to become attracted to the person, and lasts until the duration of the next round.

Attack - Juusei(Multiple Star): Because of his ability to perform with multiple weapons Haresuno must pay 1% of his reiatsu per round if he wishes to fight without incurring a penalty to his combative stat. By extending this payment to 3% of his reiatsu per round, Haresuno may actively use his rods as though the were in his hands, gaining benefits from his collective stat as well as the ability to produce their rei-blades.



Changes to Shikai:
  • Koku Ko and Mai no Fune removed from abilities and added to either form or Gekitai.
  • Shuugyou added to abilities
  • Gekitai's parameters are now in its description.

Changes to Bankai:
  • Koushou Gekitai removed as an ability and replaced as an attack.

[ Shikai - 始解 ] - “Initial Release”

[“Echo”]

Name: Echo
Release Phrase: Tranquilise thine adversaries, Echo! (Or simply: Tranquilise, Echo!)
Appearance: Nothing but a voice.


FYI: Echo - A nymph whose unrequited love for Narcissus caused her to pine away until nothing but her voice remained.

Form:
Unlike most other zanpakutou’s, Echo fuses with the two lowest of Kaede’s four hands and turns into black, whip-like fists that start just above where Kaede’s elbows used to be - dark, orange-like reiatsu seems to emanate from where the whips begin.


The whips itself are about three and a half meters long and at the end of the right whip there’s a claw as depicted here, the left claw has a more blade-like end.

Ability: By latching onto her adversaries with her right whip, Kaede can pay 10% of her reiatsu to send a paralysing jolt of energy through the whip, and into her enemies.

Ability: By paying 10% of her reiatsu, Kaede can let her left whip’s bladed end vibrate at an alarming rate, distorting any kind of energy flow within a 12m radius, effectively decreasing any and all incoming attacks by the amount paid.


[ Bankai - 卍解 ] - “Final Release”

[“Tranquillity of Echoes”]

Form: Her hair grows considerably longer, to far below her lower-body. On the top, and backside, of her hair are two demon-like horns that are connected at the back of Kaede’s head.

Her eyes become intensely emerald like and even her iris turns emerald. Just underneath the eyelids run two stripes of brown-red colour and above the eyes are two thicker lines. The one closest to her eyebrows is yellow, the other red.

Her two whips are still were they were in shikai, but in addition to this Kaede now also grows two, bone-like wings from her back, capable of engulfing Kaede completely.

Ability-Passive: As a result of her newly grown wings, Kaede is capable of flying. There is no cost associated to this ability and it uses Kaede’s hohou stat to determine the speed at which she can fly.

Attack: By channelling 5% of her reiatsu through her clawed-whip, Kaede can amplify any of her kidou by said amount. Projectile kidous now shoot from the claw and any other kidou used this way appears from the claw, unless otherwise stated.

Attack: By covering herself with her wings completely and paying 50% of her reiatsu, Kaede can shoot a massive wind of sheer reiatsu outward at her adversaries, coming from every possible angle of Kaede’s body.

Friendly fire possible, unless Fated Alliance has been attained at which point the damage for said ally reduces to 30% reiatsu.

Attack: When in the air, or on the ground - doesn’t really matter, Kaede can pay 95% of her reiatsu and start spinning around violently, creating an obliterating whirlwind of reiatsu, drawing everything within its vicinity towards itself as well as harming every being who gets too close for three turns base.

After the whirlwind has come to a halt, Kaede’s zanpakutou returns to its original, sealed and dormant state, leaving Kaede utterly drained of her reiatsu.

Friendly fire so possible.

Starting at 15,000 connection, a turn gets added at every 2,500 connection interval, capping at 5 turns or 20,000 connection.
 
Turst: Overall: Resubmit with some suggested changes, or talk to us about how to angle it a way you like.

Pocket full of Rainbows: Looks good, though you have to change your creations/round. 1 per every 3k, or cap it a 3/turn max.

Get me Out of Here: Another in the long line of recent submissions that have a low cost, total defense. This won't work. If you want your release to give you a shuynpo like affect, that's fine, but its tied to your agility in terms of your ability to evade with hit.

Someone else's problem: This would be fine if it was limited to just physical, or only energy attacks, etc. You've got to get to give.

Shuh: Resubmit as well please.

Abiliy: This confuses me a bit, are you saying you can move them around as part of this ability? And isn't 10 x 15% =150% of your reiatsu? In short: creating kai strength weapons is cool, if you pay for it. But if you want to do the tried and true float them around deal, you've got to slot that out as a separate ability with a cost.

Attack: Fine.

Hawk: Approved. This is a subtly buff kai.

Will: Approved. I check twice, and I think it's solid.

Gekitai won't grant the immunity back. Just use it to counter, and it effectively does anyway :P

Bankai: Resubmit

Koushou Gekitai does not grant immunity, just use it to counter if need be.

Juusei: Bypassing the multiple weapon penalty won't work, but, you can certainly control and use them all at once, for no more then 2% rei/round in cost

Shi Kai - Kazeoni [Wind Demon] "Scatter, Kazeoni.”

Form: As soon as the release phrase is uttered, the sealed zanpakutou shatters and transforms to a hefty double-sided katana. To Ryoujin, the blade feels as light as a feather. However, should anyone else attempt to wield Kazeoni, he or she will be completely vulnerable to its bulk. During shikai, the weapon itself loses the star hand-guard, leaving nothing but the exposed steel and grip. On its now blood-red blade, an inscription in kanji is written, loosely translating to, "I am the wind, existing everywhere and nowhere. I am the gale, the tempest, and the twister, purging life from this barren earth of sins."

Kazeoni is the personification of wind itself. He is said to have no identity, taking the form of a warrior. Armor and plating of the finest crafted steel protects him from harm. Usually, he can be found surrounded by a number of floating weapons. The only visible attribute that can be seen through the mask plating are blue wisps of smoke. The lower half of his body is visible at times, but if he so wishes, he can transition into and out of reality. Similarly, his body is impervious to physical means of touch if so he wishes.

Enclosed by a chain of rugged mountains and valleys, Ryoujin's inner world can be described as divided. Depending on Kazeoni's mood, the Templar can be transported to either the flourishing citadel above or the ancient ruins of an empire long forgotten. Scattered around the inner world, there are multiple weapons that have been stabbed into the ground, ranging from newly refurbished spears to battle worn swords. No matter where Ryoujin may end up, a strong gust of wind is always blowing. Above, the sky is surrounded by dark clouds. Despite this fact, sunlight manages to stream into the plane through various gaps and spaces in between.

Ability: The primary ability of Kazeoni allows Ryoujin to craft any weapon that he so chooses, ranging from swords, spears, scythes, etc. Each weapon that is summoned has the physical properties of the original and can harm spiritual beings(ie: If a sword is summoned, it is made of steel...). He can summon one weapon per 2% of his reiatsu. After training vigorously, Ryoujin can summon up to ten blades maximum at once if he so wishes (one weapon starting at 1k connection, + an extra for every 1k connection after that, capping out at 10k connection).

Ability: The second ability helps Ryoujin maintain control over the weapon(s) summoned. Should he want to have complete mastery over the weapons, he must pay 1% of his reiatsu per round. This makes it capable for the pink-haired youth to control the course of any of the weapons he summons whether it is to have them deflect a blow, change directions midway, etc.

Attack: At a cost of 5% of his reiatsu, Ryoujin is able to supercharge each weapon. Imbued with the biting force of a powerful gust, each weapon works in tandem to produce one huge slash-shockwave which travels forward towards an approaching enemy. It can travel at a flat 30 feet.
