Form:
Maxwell has always operated by his own rules with little to no regrets. The dim-witted man has held a steadfast dedication to his own selfish needs, even if those desires directly inhibit the missions he is sent on. When it came to getting a good cigar at the right time, nothing could stop the brute from achieving his own self-centered goal. Growing and prospering as an Advent Human has only strengthened his resolve, causing the powers he wields to directly relate to the desires that he obsessively attempts to fulfill. In his Initial Awakening, even reality begins to heed the bulky man's stubborn call, bending the laws of the world to cater to the man's greed. There are no outward signals that he has awakened, other than the plentiful amount of items he is seemingly able to withdraw from thin air.

Pocket Full of Rainbows:
Maxwell's almost constant desire for a good cigar and high quality bottle of gin caused his awakening to alter reality in order to grant the heavy handed man an ability to call forth spiritually enhanced items effortlessly. From a simply cigar to a high priced race car, anything that the boxer can wrap his head around can be called forth anywhere within twelve meter radius around him at a cost of 3% of his maximum reiatsu. Items created using this ability an not be larger than 6 meters in length.

If the item created is used to attack someone, it deals normal damage based on his combat stat. The durability of the items reflect the cost paid for them. Maxwell can only create one item a turn for every three thousand Harmony. Items created using this ability persist until their durability has decreased to zero. Once an Item is created, it obeys all physical laws of the realm it occupies.

Get Me Outta Here!: Due to the man's bulky frame, Maxwell has always despised simply being in confined spaces. This desire to be placed in more comfortable places and situations has formed into an ability that allows him to quickly escape situations that cause him discomfort. He accomplishes this by simply being somewhere else at that point in time, no matter how improbable his new location may be. The removal of his existence is near instantaneous, giving him a good chance to dodge any attack leveled against him where the attacking stat is comparable to his Resistance.

By paying four percent of his Reiatsu, the narcissistic American is capable of removing himself from his current position and placing himself in any position within twenty meters of his original position. This ability has it's limitations however, being unable to transport through barriers made up of Reiatsu greater than it's cost. The removal and replacement of the man's very existence is also taxing, resulting in a threshold equal to his resistance.

Note 1
I did intend this ability to be a shunpo-like effect; however, since he is using his power, and technically not moving himself, I would prefer it to be based off of his Resistance instead of his Agility.

In addition, I did not include a part about seeing his movement. This is because unlike Shunpo (Where one travels from A to C, through B), Max is removed from A, and is placed at C (Without ever having visited B). If this doesn't make sense (or is not doable), feel free to contact me.


Somebody Else's Problem: An ability forged from Maxwell's narcissistic tendencies. In his awakened state, the alterations of the gold haired man brings about what he believes to be perfection. The form of his awakened state also causes the bullheaded man to believe he is immune to all forms of damage. These two beliefs have caused the man to regard any attack instigated against him as somebody else's problem, causing reality itself to deflect the attacks away from him.

This ability consumes five percent of the former boxer's reiatsu, and is capable of deflecting up to two hundred percent of it's value in energy attacks. Afterwards, the ability cannot be used for two turns.
 
Highly Important Note for Shade and Van!!
Ok, so it just came to my attention that you approved my former kai when I was at 400 or so Connection. This is somewhat of a problem, as I apparently wasn't supposed to sub until 900 Conn. So, if you'll let me, I wish to sub a kai for Derek according to the rules that will fit his character a lot better. Otherwise, I'll have to use that spec point of mine from this Summer's PMs.


Name - Saimin (Hypnosis)

Release Phrase - Nekashi (Mesmerize), Saimin.

Inner World - Derek’s inner world is a single room that appears to stretch out as he moves in any given direction. The walls, ceiling, and floor each contain a rapidly moving swirl, slowing or speeding up depending on how he’s feeling. There are many staircases that lead upwards and downwards and sideways as well.

Spirit - The spirit of his zanpaktou is a brown hyena with green markings on its face. He’s the kind of hyena that always has a crazy grin on its face. Its most curious feature is the fact that his limbs and head float inches away from his body, never attached to the main body.

Form - Saimin will take the form of a black staff as tall as he is covered in silvery hypnotic swirls that are constantly moving. He may split the staff into two halves at will. To anyone other than Derek himself, this could prove rather distracting when his weapon is in motion. The top of the staff contains a gem with a hypnotic swirl similar to the ones located on the staff itself.

Ability - Saimin Eikyou (Hypnotic Influence) - The art of hypnosis has been used for centuries to delve within the depths of living creatures and bend them to the user’s will. Derek’s soul slayer allows him to tap into this ancient power. By focusing 5% of his reiatsu into his staff, he may give a subject a single command or suggestion which they must follow. for 4 turns He will gain another turn of control per 1000 connection, capping out at 10 turns upon reaching 8,000 Connection. However, this does not come without limits. He may not give his opponent any commands that would result in the target’s death or major injury. Minor commands like “smack yourself silly,” or “scratch your face” will still be effective. As long as the subject remains within a 20 meter radius of Saimin, this ability will continue until it reaches its limit or Derek cancels it.

Attack - Saimin Yokusei (Hypnotic Suppression) - A twisted hypnotist, however, is a force to be reckoned with. They have been known to ruin lives by locking the powerless into mental comas and sealing away their talents and gifts. By tapping into the darker side of hypnosis and paying 5% reiatsu, Derek may unleash a hypnotic blast of force from the gem of his staff, knocking all foes within a 15 meter radius back by one meter. Immediate effects include disorientation and loss of concentration. However, the true nature of this power lies takes place a tad later. On the opponent’s next turn, they will experience a trance which prevents concentration of their true power. Their full power is subdued as long as they remain within 20 meters. This is represented by a loss of the amount of rei Derek spent from their dominant stat. This effect lasts for 3 turns, gaining a another per 1000 Connection and capping out at 8 turns upon reaching 6000 Connection.

Attack - Mahou Ijou no Nou (Mind Over Magic) - Hypnosis and magic have always been directly linked, as many great hypnotists were considered magicians for their abilities. Through the unlocking of their subconscious, they were able to pull of feats of strength and miraculous recoveries. Derek may now take a page from these legends of mind magic. By paying 1.2x the kidou, he may unleash any equipped kidou up to rank 60 at full strength in the wake of his hakuda attacks. The boy must still speak the kidou’s name, but the incantation is not necessary. This adds 5% of his hakuda as added strength or damage to the kidou in question. However, this attack may only be used once every five turns due to the strain of using all of his mental strength in this method.

Release Stage: Shi Kai

Name: Tsukiki (lit. Moon Spirit)

Release Command: “Deceive thy adversaries, Tsukiki!”

Manifestation: Tsukiki appears to be rather experienced and mature. She can easily keep her emotions under control and is very sophisticated. She watches over Mizuki and helps her to keep her intense feelings under control. They also argue once in a while, but that’s nothing special.

Tsukiki’s inner world is very calm and serene. It is a silent hilltop covered in grass and a few white flowers. The hilltop towers above a huge forest with ancient trees. It’s always night in this world, which makes it usual for a large, full moon to shine brightly in the world’s skies forever. All that provides is the magical atmosphere and the exhilarating view over Tsukiki’s world.

Form: Upon speaking the release phrase of her Shi Kai, Mizuki’s blade will glow a brilliant amethyst color for a split second before the light suddenly expands outward to reveal the new form of Tsukiki. In its newly released form, the katana has become a unique weapon - a jian, or Chinese Broadsword. A double-edged straight blade, this new form is actually significantly shorter than it’s sealed form, with the blade being seventy centimeters in length. The blade, like before, is a reflective silver primarily, however it has gained an odd purple-sheen to it, only noticeable when light reflects off of it. The grip of the blade is done in a crimson stained leather, as is the suddenly transformed sheath, and both the plain cap and newly created guard are done in a pure silver. Unlike most guards, the guard of Tsukiki is not circular, but rather a piece of straight metal that curves back towards the dark tassel on both ends. This new weapon, like all jian, is relatively light and a one-handed weapon.

[Ability] - Dark Touch: The jian is coated with a mix of deep purple and black. Using the tactics from Seeping Darkness, the attack will cause opponents’ movements to be lethargic and less skillful. The primary combat stat of the victim is reduced by 15% of Mizuki’s Zanjutsu for three turns. The effects of this attack begin after she makes a solid strike on the opponent. This will cost 5% of her reiatsu. The ability cannot stack; it can only be renewed by striking an opponent again on the recovery round or later.
 
Rawb- Approved with some reminders.

1) Your shikai has a binding and a barrier, and they will work like those.

2) If you have a kai attack with active 'turns' the cost is spread out over each turn So, with a 95% cost, and 5 turns, each turn would be valued at 19% of your rei, not 95% for 5 turns.

3) Shade and I were finding a lack of a solid theme here, its approved, but, this didn't feel draw out from the crux of your creative soul.

Shun - Approved with a change. Manifester kai!

1) Ability 2 (the weapon control) is 2% a round.

Turst - Approved

Aero - Denied

1) Dil had a good, awesome kai like this, but it was 1 command on a target, that was instantly carried out and no duration. So, you've got a 3 slot kai with a 1 slot kai as the first ability.

2) Debuffs to stat are not from rei spent -> stat. This is massively painful if you're hit by it, as rei is a composite stat and one stat is not. If you want to do a debuff, you have to *hit* them with something and its a max of 5% of one of your stats against theirs for a 3 slot kai.

3) This ability is again, basically single kai slot strength, and is a bit too effective. You're getting absolute bypass, and a kidou amp, all in one ability. This won't work.

Description: Upon releasing bankai an enormous oak tree materializes behind Haresuno. The tree is in full bloom and as time progresses the leaves turn and then begin to fall, transitioning from summer to winter. When the final leaf falls, Haresuno has reached the limit of his bankai.

The tree itself fifty feet in height with massive roots and branches.

The bronze staff of Haresuno's shikai, 6'8" in length, separates into five equal pieces which slowly revolve around him. Within a five foot radius, Haresuno is able to control these rods at will, individually or connected together, coating them in his glowing white reiatsu, giving them a bladed edge. Haresuno can also project a gleaming white blade out up to twice the length of the rods in-hand.

Ability - Kishi (Knight): With the new form of his Bankai, Haresuno now has multiple weapons at his disposal. Due to their unique properties at being multi-weapons, Haresuno retains his collective stat. When not in hand each rod should be considered equal to Haresuno’s zanjutsu stat.

Attack - Koushou Gekitai (Advanced Repulse): No longer is Gekitai bound to a single direction at a time. At a cost of 1% reiatsu per rod per round, Haresuno imbues the weapons with a charge, able to create a diameter or line force with any number of the rods. Haresuno and Sekiryoku Houshiki Xiezhi are immune to similar kidou (or race equivalent) effects such as the Shou and Daishou.

Attack - Uchikesu (To Deny): By paying 5% of his reiatsu, Haresuno may attach two rods to an opponent and reverse their power - causing energy abilities, spells, and other projectiles within thirty feet to become attracted to the person, and lasts until the duration of the next round.

Attack - Juusei(Multiple Star): Because of his ability to perform with multiple weapons Haresuno must pay 2% of his reiatsu per round and actively use his rods as though the were in his hands, gaining benefits from his collective stat as well as the ability to produce their rei-blades.


Because I only needed to resubmit Sikiryouku Houshiki Xiezhi, I've done so. I'll make sure to edit the new Xiezhi's Gekitai to match Koushou Gekitai.

Ability - Han'ishiki Sakusei (To Draw On Subconsciousness) - Hypnosis has been used for centuries to delve into the subconscious, where all of one's potential is stored. By drawing in reiatsu using the crystal as a conduit, Saimin will raise one of Derek's stats (excluding kidou) by 5% of his kidou stat each turn. This ability costs 1% of his total reiatsu each turn it is active and will continue until he has reached 25% of his kidou stat in increase. Derek does not have to "lock in" to one specific stat, but he can't shift the boost from one stat to the other after it has been given. This boost will wear off in 5 rounds after its completion.

Attack - Han'ishiki Kinzuru (To Surpress Subconsciousness) - By sealing away someone's subconciousness, a hypnotist essentially cuts off access to that potential. Derek can focus 3% of his reiatsu to add a certain effect to one of his equipped kidou. If he is successful in hitting the target, they will start to enter a trance that results from gradually losing access to their subconscious talents. This is represented by a loss of power equal to 5% of Derek's kidou from their dominant stat for five rounds. They can't lose more than 25% from their dominant stat, and the stat loss will wear off in 5 rounds after the completion of the effect.

Shikai: Rihi (Judgement)

Release Command:“Sprint, Rihi!”

Appearance
By using the release command while resheathing the sealed zanpakuto, Tsuneo initiates activation. Upon activation, Rihi undergoes a slight transformation. The entire blade, hilt included, takes on a brilliant white hue that seems to almost glow, even in the absence of an exterior source of light. The blade becomes longer and thinner, essentially becoming lighter and easier to maneuver. The hilt is also elongated, allowing for plenty of room for Tsuneo to place his hands. The tsuba disappears, thus streamlining the blade even further.

Manifestation
Rihi is manifested as a nondescript being formed from what would appear to be pure light. Faceless and lacking any distinguishing features, the zanpakuto’s manifestation can almost be seen as a partial being, almost as if the manifestation itself is incomplete.

Abilities:
1. Orbiting Rihi:

By paying 5% of his reiatsu, Tsuneo can conjure an orb of energy that remains close to him. Any kidou-like energy (Cero, gintou, kidou) or even a reiatsu based attack equal or lesser the strength, will be completely absorbed by this orb. Should the power of the attack be greater than the cost of this orb, Tsuneo will take damage equal to the amount of the overage. This orb cannot be harmed by physical attacks.

2. Mark of Rihi:
Any wound Tsuneo inflicts with Rihi will form a crest in the form of a lightning bolt on that wound. By paying 800 reiatsu, this lightning bolt serves as a magnet for the next kidou or reiatsu-based attack whether by friend or foe. This mark lasts for 3 rounds or until the enemy is impacted by the effects of this ability. Only one of these marks may exist at one time. Tsuneo must inflict another wound on his opponent with Rihi if he wishes to create the mark again. If Orbiting Rihi is active at the same time as this ability, Mark of Rihi will take precedent. This only applies to attacks that cost up to two times the cost of this ability.

3. Wrath of Rihi:
Any limb previously struck by Tsuneo that possesses the Mark of Rihi can be temporarily paralyzed. This effect expresses itself as an electrical shock to the specified limb. The cost of this ability is 500 reiatsu. The effect lasts for one turn and clears the opponent of the mark as well.

Bankai: Saigo no Rihi (Final Judgement)

Appearance:
Rihi’s appearance during Bankai doesn’t vary much from its shikai form. The blade achieves a total transparency, looking more like glass than steel, and the hilt elongates further, again increasing its streamlined nature. The wielder’s clothing, however, become skintight, allowing for easy movement.

Ability:
Mark of Rihi:
Any wound Tsuneo inflicts with Rihi will form a crest in the form of a lightning bolt on that wound. The crest will remain on the stricken being for the duration of Rihi’s release, only disappearing once Rihi is returned to its sealed state. There is no limit to the number of crests that can exist at any given time.

Attacks:

Judgement’s Bonds
By paying 5% of his reiatsu, Tsuneo can send a paralyzing electrical charge to all of the lightning crests within a fifteen yard radius. For three turns or upon being touched by Tsuneo, a crested foe within the radius will be unable to move their body.
 
Aero: Approved with changes;
1) Drop the distraction part from the form, we don't want abilities in these, and this might creep in that direction.
2) Both of the powers of the kai cap at 10%

1) We have a problem with Judgment's Bonds; Full body holding is a sort of no no, but, you could say, for instance: Any transportation or rapid travel effects with a cost less then or equal to Judgment's Bonds is prohibited for up to three turns.

Release Phrase: Strike thy enemy, Kuroi Inazuma

Form Change: The sword itself does not change in shape or size. The hilt has only one minor change, it turns white.The guard turns into a glossy white square with the edges curved in. The blades shape stays the same but its color becomes black and is surrounded by a small dark static.

Inner World:

In Kaito's Inner world everything is black and white excluding himself and lightning. The world itself is empty and the ground is a never ending surface of water.

Ability:
Seitekina bōei (Static Defence):Costs 5% Reiatsu.
The blade and its wielder becomes surrounded by a black lightning emitting a red aura. It doesn’t harm it’s wielder but if someones presence other than the wielder enter near its encompassed area it will immediately discharge a harmful release of static. (The wielder can not move during this ability.)

Dark Rakurai: Costs 3% Reiatsu.
It sends out a shot of lighting at an incredible speed that but is limited to 18 metre's, it's speed on which it reaches that distance, depends on zanjutsu and once the blade is pointed in the direction of its shot.

Sei-den hōden (Static Discharge)
: Costs 3% Reiatsu.
Takes 3 seconds to charge his blade before firing a big wall of black static electricity when the blade is swung or when the zanpaktou is pointed and aimed, it releases a beam of black static electricity in its direction.

Vizard Attack
By expending 4% Rage, 3% Rei and gaining 2% Emptiness to have Sei-den Houden cause a static explosion on contact. Anybody in the vicinity of the explosion will receive a powerful shock.

Shikai: Gakuryoku (Scholarship)


Form: Hisao’s usual cane is replaced by a much more intricate weapon. The top of the newly formed four foot staff is crowned with what appears to be a large dream catcher with a gem inset. Branching off from the circle are what looks like tree branches with tags attached inscribed in the arcane runes seen on his sealed can. Just below this is a smaller duplicate of the larger dream catcher and branch structures. As Hisao drains more reiatsu, the gem begins to glow green. With the light getting bigger and brighter as more reiatsu is siphoned.

Ability: Kyokukan(Siphon)

The single ability of Hisao’s zanpakutou is constantly active. The old’s man reliance on kidou to defend himself has caused his weapon to be able to draw off energy from the very demon arts its master is so dependent upon. Whenever a kidou, cero, gintou, or release ability is used within 15m of Hisao 10% of the reiatsu cost of the ability is stored within Gakuryoku. This energy can only be used for the sole purpose of casting more spells and does not take away from the actual damage of the ability used. The total amount of stored reiatsu in Gakuryoku cannot exceed more than 50% of Hisao’s kidou stat and is always drained first when a spell is cast.

Shikai Vizard Attack: Namaru Kyokukan (Corrupted Siphon)

When Hisao's accumulated rage reaches 20% or more, his inner hollow effects the normal ability of his shikai augmenting it to increase its siphoning by 5%. All other limitations of the ability continue to exist.


Ban Kai: Seme no Kashikoi Gakusha (Persecution of the Wise Scholar)


Form: Upon announcing bankai, Gaku forcibly manifests himself as a small bamboo forest, hundreds of shoots appear over a 30m radius around Hisao’s original position each about 10m tall. Each has the durability of a normal shoot of bamboo, however due to the sheer volume of reiatsu coursing through the forest any damaged or uprooted shoots regrow at the beginning of Hisao’s turn. Augmenting this, a duplicate of Hisao’s shikai weapon is formed. Both staffs naturally orbit Hisao ambiently until he calls them into his hand. While in orbit Hisao has no other control of their movements except to summon them to himself. Both weapons have identical properties as in shikai.

Ability: Endai Kyokukan (Grand Siphon)

The draining nature of Hisao’s shikai has been amplified to affect every being caught within Hisao’s forest. The shoots now drain 20% of the cost of any kidou, gintou, cero, faction techniques, release abilities, feats, and basic techniques. This energy can only be used for the sole purpose of casting more spells or for use in his bankai attacks and does not take away from the actual damage of the ability used. The total amount of stored reiatsu in Gakusha cannot exceed Hisao’s kidou stat though Hisao now gains the ability to decide whether to spend his own reiatsu or the reiatsu stored in his kai.

Attack: Oomawari (To Detour)

The fundamental nature of Hisao’s kai is to affect the bonds controlling reiatsu manipulation, as such his attacks are far harder to manipulate against him than usual. The siphon within the bankai feeds Hisao’s own attacks with the reiatsu it extracts eliminating outside interference. This translates as allowing his bypassed kidou spells to be valued at 70% of their natural strength rather than the normal 50%. Additionally any outside abilities affecting the cost of Hisao’s kidou or cero must be greater than the 20% siphoned before Hisao must pay them.

Attack: Oshoku (To Corrupt)

By actively paying 1% reiatsu per round Hisao can seal one ability his siphon effects per opponent. The ability selected to be sealed must have previously been siphoned. Unique to this attack, reiatsu spent on it is not subject to any other boosting ability i.e it is not subject to Hisao’s siphon. Up to five targets may be active at any one time but the cost must be paid for each.

Attack: Oitsuku (To Overtake)

Using the principle of Gakuryoku’s siphoning, Hisao can actually over run an opponent’s attack and send it back at them. Hisao pays 15% reiatsu either from his own reiatsu, the pool or some combination of the two. Hisao’s reiatsu then floods into the attack draining it of color and sending it back at its user if the attack was weaker than the cost paid. Damage dealt by this attack is equal to what it would have originally been for better or worse.


Bankai Vizard Attack: Namaru Endai Kyokukan (Corrupted Grand Siphon)

When Hisao's accumulated rage reaches 25% or more, his inner hollow effects the normal ability of his bankai augmenting it to increase its siphoning by 10%. All other limitations of the ability continue to exist.

Sealed

Having grown along with Akio’s own resolve, the sealed form of Gouryu has evolved to take the shape of a katana. The weapon measures a full thirty inches from base to tip. A sturdy tsuka of willow holds the tang of the weapon, forming a solid grip comfortable for two hands. The tsuka-ito is fashioned from silk and dyed a deep shade of blue. Made from steel, the tsuba is shaped like a rectangle, and matches the plain silver kashira. A black-lacquered saya of willow, polished and well maintained, is the resting place for the simple yet elegant weapon.​

Manifestation

A barren wasteland as far as the eye can see, hard ground void of trees and grass in every direction. The sky has no moon, no sun, and no stars; instead, inky-black clouds blanket the realm. An eerie twilight glow covers the land, like the calm before a heavy storm. The distant cries of thunder can be heard, and the occasional flash of lightning, but no other sounds nor events can be seen. When Akio is wrought with emotion, showers are known to fall, with varying intensity, in the dimension.

Gouryu himself appears to Akio as a small boy, no older than nine or ten years old, wearing a tattered blue kimono decorated with elegant gold designs. Brown hair falls to about earlobe level, and black eyes peer out of his youthful face. The spirit is barefoot, and he carries a simple umbrella made of bamboo and dark red cloth that rivals the boy in height. A serpentine dragon tail sprouts from the boy’s lower back, and is covered in glossy black scales.

The spirit constantly scowls, and speaks with an arrogant tone.​

[ Tenkyuu ] - 天泣
(Rain from a Cloudless Sky)

A new strength forged for Akio by the Storm Bringer, the release of Gouryu carries with it the sorrow gained from witnessing death, and the new resolve that promises to wash the world clean of the horrors that plague it like an unending drought. The release summons a massive overflow of spiritual pressure that is released from the tip of the blade with each swing, manifesting as a current of dark, lurid water that follows the path of the weapon. Unlike its previous incarnations, the Initial Release of Gouryu does not require a massive source of water to be present in order to wield its abilities in combat. Instead, water is constantly flowing from the blade and surrounding area as needed to feed the voracious tide and augment the Storm Dragon’s overwhelming ferocity.

Manipulating the water is an effortless ability that is inherent with the release. Being so, he can command the water summoned by his sword at no cost. If he so chooses, however, Akio may take much more active control of the tide by reinforcing it with his own energies. Paying 1% of his maximum reiatsu, not to exceed 15% of the same number in a single turn, he may force the water into a variety of forms, allowing for the execution of any manner of attack or defense as determined by his imagination alone. When calling forth the summoned water in this fashion, input is equal to output; more energy paid allows for a larger quantity of water to be manifested. As the release persists the billows continues to grow, consuming the radius allowed by his abilities and turning Akio into a relative force of nature within the area.

The accuracy, precision, and overall speed at which the water may be controlled is determined by Akio’s zanjutsu statistic (including any accumulated bonuses). The radius at which his powers may be used is based on the bond he shares with his blade and thus, for every 1,000 connection, he gains a meter of distance, to a maximum of fifteen meters.

[ Kousuiryou ] - 降水量
(Precipitation)

The Storm Dragon’s domain over the water element extends beyond just the water manifested upon the sword’s release, allowing Akio to interact with outside sources of water, regardless of the phase of the matter. He can command ambient moisture in the air, as well as water from large sources such as rivers, lakes, or even the ocean with no more effort than it takes to manipulate his zanpakutou’s basic ability. However, by exerting his influence over water under another combatant’s control, he can effectively turn it against them, or use it to empower his own abilities.

By paying 5% of his maximum reiatsu, Akio may attempt to subjugate an attack that claims water or ice as an attribute. Should the amount paid by Akio exceed that of the attack, he can negate the ability and use it to fuel his own powers.​
 
I'm submitting a new Shikai. This won't take effect until some time after the PMs end (maybe before, who knows) but I want to know I can start using it whenever I want. I'm using the spec point from the 2011 winter PMs.

Shi-Kai: Zenryoku

Release Phrase: Unleash my strength, Zenryoku!

Form: Sora’s katana grows larger and becomes a sixty six inch odachi.

Ability: Not time for name now:
Sora can put 10% of his reiatsu into his blade. Instantly, Zenryoku starts a a reaction between the spiritual particles held within her. For every round after the activation of this ability, the reiatsu stored inside Zenryoku’s blade grows by 10% of its initial value, up to a 200% output. The blade starts glowing intensely as the energy inside it grows.

Attack: People screaming at me makes it hard to pick a name:
Sora can unleash the reiatsu stored in his blade into a singe devastating and explosive strike. Any enemy struck with this ability will be damaged directly by the amount of energy stored into the blade both to his reiatsu as to his primary stat. This effect lasts as long as two thirds of the number of turns (insert first ability name here) was active. If someone affected by (insert first ability name here) has equal or less than 120% of Sora's reiatsu, the duration is the number of turns (insert first ability name here) was active.

Froggu:

Ability 1: As an ability with 0 cost, it would only be effective against other things with 0 costs. This is fine if you want a means of stopping zanjutsu or hak attacks with no 'umph' behind them. Just keep that in mind 0 cost means 0 ability against reiatsu imbued attacks/defenses. Second, the measure of 'gallon' is hard to hash out in an abstract writing environment, I would suggest opting for a measure of by area of effect that more easily translates into the system we already use.

As a note: I like the vibe of this kai, reminds me of a certain shinigami-eaten-by-hollow-then-become-arrancar. Always did like his release.

Attack 1: This is a toughie. I know what you're going for here, but its likely Shade and I will have to collaborate and get back to you with a version that delivers both what you are looking for and something we agree is of a suitable tier.

Bel: In short: probably fine. We might need to tweak the duration idea on the attack part, but as a concept and using the values you purposed, you'll probably be fine!

[Inner World]
Rokuro's inner world consists of an endless sea covered by fog. The surface of the sea, although covered in waves, is solid enough for the man to stand on.

[Manifestation]
Always lurking below the sea, Bokugyo appears to Rokuro as little more than a shadow, shrouded in the fog.

[Form]
Bokugyo takes the form of a chain-flail of total length one meter. Halfway along its length, the primary chain splits into 10 tributary chains tipped with rhomboidal blades. At the other end, rather than a grip, Bokugyo terminates in a cuff around Rokuro's wrist.

[Abilities]
Ability 1 - Ikanosumi: For 200 reiatsu, Bokugyo releases a harmless smoke cloud from the tributary chains. The cloud has a diameter of 15 meters and reduces Visibility to virtually nothing. The cloud dissipates after 5 turns.

Ability 2 - Shokushu: By paying 50 reiatsu per meter, the primary chain may be extended up to 20 meters from the cuff. The chain retracts when given slack.

Ability 3 - Kyuuban: In exchange for 200 reiatsu, the tributary chains of Bokugyo adhere strongly to whatever they come into contact with for one turn. The adhesion may be renewed for additional turns by paying an additional 200 reiatsu each turn.

[Vizard Attack]
Ikanodoku: For 10% of Rokuro's reiatsu, and 10% of his rage, Bokugyo generates 5% emptiness and produces a gas cloud 15 meters in diameter. This cloud obscures vision and causes minor damage to people other than Rokuro when inhaled. It dissipates after 5 turns.

So I wanna retcon back to prisms!! Since I haven't been able to get a hold of (read: not be in chat at the same time as) Van to tune this thing up, I'm just reposting it as it was to get your attention! Apparently you fielded some qualms about this Awakening, so I'd like some help fixing it up 8D Using a spec point I bought, btw~

Yuusou Taryoukyou - “Phase Prism”

This awakening manifests as an ethereal, glass-like lattice of energy that floats a few feet in front of the user. The lattice is composed of hexagonal plates of reiatsu that form a roughly circular shape about two meters in diameter. The side facing the user is a pale orange color, while the side facing outwards is blue. The plate is thin enough that's its almost invisible when looked at from the side. The whole construct costs 5% reiatsu per turn to maintain.

Ability: Taryoukyou no Zoufukuki - “Prismatic Amplifier”

Any attacks attacks fired though the prismatic plate's orange side are boosted by an amount equal to 25% of the user’s Combat stat. For example, if the user had 1000 Combat, and fired an attack worth 500 Reiatsu, the total output of the attack after passing through the prism would be 750 Reiatsu worth of damage. In addition, the prism also boosts the magnitude of the ability, physically increasing the area covered by an attack. For example, if one were to fire 'Byakurai' into the prism, the spells blast radius would be expanded to the diameter of the prism (small attack goes in, big attack comes out). The prism also has a unique effect on Orpheus' ammunition. If, for example, a Pyre round was fired through the prism, the outgoing attack would be manifested as a pillar of fire instead of a simple bullet (the damage remains the same, only the form changes).

Unique Ammo Effects:
Standard: Multiplies the round, firing seven bullets at 1/7th the total power of the shot.
Fire: Outgoing attack manifests as a large pillar of fire.
Ice: Outgoing attack manifests as a wave of ice.
Disrupt: Increases the area of effect once the round hits the enemy, doubling the diameter of the disruption target.



Ability: Taryoukyou no Kakusan - “Prismatic Diffusion”
At the cost of 15% of the user’s reiatsu, an enemy’s attack entering the field can be held within the plate and released at a later time, providing the attack is equal to or weaker than the amount spent to activate the ability.

The absorbed attack, when released, has an output equal to the total value of the stored attack, plus a bonus equal to the Prismatic Amplifier's boost. The prismatic field turns red on both sides when an attack is being held within it, and only one attack may be stored at a time.

If the prism is hit while charged, the inbound attack is debuffed by the amount of energy stored in the field. An attack lower than the amount of stored energy will be blocked outright, while an attack of higher value will shatter the prism in its entirety. Any damage the prism takes while charged is deducted from the total stored energy. Once the prisms energy is depleted (or the field breaks), the user must wait one round before being able to use this ability again.

Official review breakdown:

Froggu: We agree that this can be Approved. It would be nice if it was cleaned up, and I would also recommend that you collapse the kai into the first ability, and simply allow for a scaling cost between 0%-10%. As a reminder, your attack portion will in fact have 125% of your stat's value in accuracy, but is a 5% strength attack.

Bel: Approved with a change. This will be a your choice thing. Just put one of these up in a quick repost. 1) Debuffs must be stat v stat, so your attack will debuff their primary stat based on one of your own choosing (10%), for a duration equal to the storage time. The rei damage is a single discharge thing: you hit, your blade 'unempoweres.' OR 2) Keep the rei damage to a stat for the duration of the charge, and drop the rei damage secondary portion. Talk to either of us if you aren't clear on what we're asking.

Neku: Approved and buffed. Ability 2 can have a simple, flat cost of 100 rei for the extension quality.

Sev: We discussed this, and agreed that with the Orpheus overhaul in progress, we can't properly address the kai. Once the Orpheus overhaul is complete, we can evaluate how best to get this one back in the saddle. Feel free to repost then, or simply give one of us a poke to remind.
