Resubmit Shikai

Stat Boost Kai: Koutei (Emperor)

Release Command: "Meijiru, Koutei."

Transformation and form: Holding his hand in prayer and standing straight, Syfir says "Meijiru...". Then his zanpakutou begins to make a sound similar to vibrating steel. The huge blade releases a fume of hot air, giving a mirage-like illusion, and the sheath fuses itself to the zanpakutou as if it melted onto it. Syfir then grabs the blade and swings it overhead. The blade is a jagged, cleaving broadsword that's about one feet longer and one inch thicker than normal. The blade is seemingly clear and crystalline. There are five diagonal engravings on each side of the blade from the bottom to the top that glow either red or blue on both sides to indicate syncs (read Enjin). When the melting stops on Koutei and the hot air dissipates, Syfir finishes by saying, "...Koutei."

Ability 1: Enjin (Circle): This ability allows Syfir to "Sync" positively (indicated by blue ring around the wrists) or negatively (indicated by red ring around the neck) with up to 5 people within 40 meters. Syfir can open a two-way communication link between himself and a synced person; the link is limited to one person at a time. Always active.

Ability 2: Sousui (Commander) (Cost 2% reiatsu per turn active, cannot be active during Sakuryaku)

This ability allows for Syfir to boost the abilities (stats) of those with a positive sync (not including himself) by 3% of Syfir's current stats.

Ability 3: Sakuryaku (Tactic) (cost = 5% of total reiatsu)

This ability allows Syfir to place a target on a negatively synced person. Those positively synced will be able to see the target visually in the form of a red glowing beacon. The target will have their stats reduced by 3%of Syfir's current stats for two turns.
 
Realized I didn't have any attacks for Ritoru's ban kai, so here are some.


Attack - Winter's Anchor

With a point of the blade of Aishoutsukai, it can instantly humidify the surrounding air and manipulate it into an attack that forms a near clear pillar of ice at the spot it pointed at, 8 foot tall, 6 foot wide and deep. Anything caught within cannot move and is spiritually bound to the plane it is currently in. If the target manages not to be caught inside the ice, they still suffer a speed reduction equal to 10% of Ritoru's maximum reiatsu due to the extreme supernatural cold. Each use of this attack costs 5% of Ritoru's total reiatsu.


Attack - Strike of the Quickened Cold

The much more manageable size of the Woe Bearer in ban kai has allowed Ritoru to unlock its deadlier powers. But some also have their price. Ritoru begins to lose his self-control with each swipe of this attack as the blade, just as it does in Winter's Anchor, humidifies and immediately freezes the air it cuts through, leaving a jagged crescent of ice ethereally locked at the spot it was formed. Each time Ritoru performs this attack, his hohou increases by 5%, to a maximum of 45%, until he inevitably loses control, destroying anything and everything in his path until he is put down. Each use of this attack costs 1% of Ritoru's max reiatsu and he can expend 25% of his max reiatsu, if he has it, to forcibly calm himself and end the rage.
 
First Stage - "The Puzzler"

Jigsomancy
  • Tod has the ability to telepathically control & construct items out of jigsaw pieces.
  • At the cost of 300 reiatsu Tod can build an item out of the pieces and hold it together for 5 turns. The item can be dismantled by Tod at anytime.
  • The maximum weight of an object Tod can control is 25kg. If this weight is exceeded he is unable to control the object and it will fall to the ground.
  • The size and shape of the object is limited by the amount of pieces he has and his imagination.
  • Objects can be manipulated in a 30 feet radius with Tod at the centre of the circle. If an object is moved out of this circle then it will fall apart.
  • The speed at which objects can be build and moved is dependable on Tod’s agility stat. The higher the stat the faster it can be done.
  • The general toughness of objects is dependable on Tod’s resistance stat. The higher his resistance the tougher the object and thus the better it is at blocking attacks.
  • Objects used to attack cannot cut foes as jigsaw pieces are primarily blunt objects. Thus attacks are primarily bludgeoning ones.
  • The strength at which an object can hit someone is equal to Tod’s own. This also increases with his combat stat as per the Internalize table.
  • The objects Tod creates are hollow so items could potentially be stored inside objects.
  • Objects created cannot involve moving parts like a drill or jointed fingers.
  • The objects and pieces can be controlled without hand motions but initially Tod uses these as he is not familiar with his powers.
Breakdown
  • Due to the obvious inconvenience of having to carry around thousands of jigsaw pieces to use his power, Tod can infuse objects with his reiatsu and break them down into jigsaw pieces.
  • At the cost of 50 reiatsu per kilogram, Tod can break a solid, inorganic material into jigsaw pieces.
  • Only 10kg of material can be broken down at any one time.
  • The material can remain in pieces for as long as Tod desires and can be returned to their original shape and form at no additional cost.
  • To break an object down Tod must be within 30 feet of the material he is breaking down.
 
Shi Kai​

“Assu, Boukun” Oppress, Tyrant

No form, Two abilities.

After saying the release phrase, usually while drawing his zanpakutou slightly out of the sheath before slamming it back together, the entire weapon shatters and dissolves completely as the ability activates. A semi-transparent, vaguely humanoid shaped shadow appears and superimposes itself over Sakurai, mimicking his movements by just a fraction of a second and adding to their force like a pile bunker, enhancing even the slightest hakuda movements to full effect as if he reared back and put his whole body into it.

By paying 200 Reiatsu a round, Sakurai can anchor his shadow body to a person to where it is always an arm length away from them. Sakurai can then command it to attack or block attacks to or from that person as though it were him doing it. While the shadow is actively doing something, Sakurai himself can’t do anything other than concentrate on maintaining it.

Bankai

Name: Ouritsu Arashi Raisuki (Royal Storm Raisuki)


Release Stage: When Doreran says the words “Ban Kai”, Raisuki explodes in a radiant show of sparking energy which swiftly spreads into a multitude of lightning-filled clouds that surrounds him and tunnels into the sky, spreading amongst the clouds and causing a storm. Despite the grandeur of the stage, it all happens rather quickly (within ten seconds).


Form/Ability: Raisuki’s blade form disappears into the violent cyclone of voltaic clouds. The funnel cloud rising to the sky merges into the tail of a giant wolf (roughly 82 feet tall). Ouritsu Arashi Raisuki's "body", along with her tail is made of a composition of clouds that only Doreran can breathe comfortably. If someone is within five feet of Doreran they will only be mildly effected (coughing wheezing), someone any closer than that will suffer the full effects of the clouds and will not be able to barely at all. The raging storm's "body" is 35 feet in width and 50 feet in height, and the funnel to the sky serves as Ouritsu Arashi Raisuki’s tail, truly emphasizing Doreran’s mastery over tumultuous storms. Two constantly sparking surges act as Ouritsu Arashi Raisuki eyes. This storm cloud is being constantly emanating from Doreran’s entire body and persists around him at all times. Ouritsu Arashi Raisuki's form, at a quick glance is more of a simple mass of gray clouds surging with lightning, however, if studied long enough, looks like an ill-defined depiction of a giant wolf with two large cone shapes that acts as the ears and follows the two sparks serving as the bankai's eyes.

The wolf moves only when Doreran's own body moves; he cannot command it to attack, nor can it move independently. If Doreran throws a punch or sword slash, the wolf's front paw will extend from his fist or blade about a foot, surrounding Doreran's attack, but doing no damage in and of itself. When Doreran walks, the wolf will glide along with him. The wolf does nothing on its own, save for standing still.

Attack 1 - Oozora Piasa (The Sky Piercer): For 500 reiatsu, Ouritsu Arashi Raisuki summons a lightning bolt from her perpetual storm that strikes where Doreran pleases. When the lightning bolt strikes a solid surface, it leaves a replica of Raisuki's shikai form that Doreran may wield. If it strikes an individual directly, the lightning cuts rather than shocks, and the blade disappears moments after the successful strike.

However, the primary purpose of the swords are that they constantly emit a ten-foot electromagnetic field around themselves. The field does nothing on its own, but serves a crucial purpose for Doreran’s others attacks.

Attack- Ten Kyuuden (Imperial Ball Lightning): As the name suggests, this attack is an orb 15 feet in diameter made of pure lightning that envelops Doreran for one turn. Ten Kyuuden consumes 5% of Doreran’s reiatsu and propels Doreran about ten yards in a given direction. However, if one of the swords brought down by the Sky Piercer is in Doreran’s path, he is able to continue Ten Kyuuden, launching it into yet another linear direction upon repeating the cost.

Doreran can perform only one directional change per turn, but can repeat the action per every 2000 Connection he obtains after learning bankai.

Attack- Kumoshimasu (Cloudburst): For 10% of his reiatsu, the blades called down by the Sky Piercer begin to seep out the same cloud of gas which makes up the zanpakutou’s released form. The cloud extends 5 feet from the sword, mixing together if the swords are ten feet or less apart.
At this point, any electrical ability or spell, such as Raigen, will travel through the gas like a circuit, shocking anything caught within. It costs 1% reiatsu each turn to maintain the gas. The cost of any kidou or lightning-based abilties used will remain unchanged.

for the radar ability we seem to remember it having a max range, but the way its written right now it sounds like it just continually increases without a cap. im pretty sure the max was supposed to be 50 feet, so change the wording a little to make it clear.

the drain/buff is way to strong as it is. the way you describe, you can use it a ton of times and it lasts for 10 turns which is.. more than a lot of fights last for. its just too strong for a 3 ability kai.

thx beth. :] kicked off sonar :/ and made overpower drain thingy to 4 turns :/ yeah, that's kinda huge reduction, but I was kinda iffy on the turn thing anyways. I also made it every 1k connection and the drain 2%.

Command:“Sing with Abandon, Heart's Morning Star” ["Utaimakuru, Kokoro no Hitotsuboshi"]

Spirit Manifestation
A large female wolf with white wings, Kokoro no Hitotsuboshi has a myriad of violet tribal markings covering her white fur. She has thick fur at her legs, saber fangs, and eyes the same color as Okaeshin’s.

To her, Okaeshin is just a grown up baby sister, one who she can be immensely proud of. Kokoro cares about her deeply, but is not above teasing her relentlessly whenever the opportunity arises. Equally as playful, but a lot more sensible, and incredibly fierce in battle, she complements her wielder’s youthful passion with her wisdom, but gets easily frustrated when her advice is not heeded.

Released Form
When Okaeshin strikes her sealed zanpakutou vertically in the ground, the impact sets a vibration (similar to a tuning fork), and as she speaks the release command, the blade flows back around Okaeshin's hands, turning into incredibly thin strands of silk-like steel. The steel strands wrap around her hands, forming into wrist and hand wraps the same color as the unreleased uchigatana's blade. The strands finish loosely, forming a long ribbon on each end of the wrap, flowing continuously around Okaeshin's forearms over waves of sound. Every now and then, streaks of deeper violet lance through the wraps in tribal shapes.

Ability: form
The individual strands in the wrap are sharp and as they vibrate, they cut deeper than a typical punch would. With the sound waves Okaeshin has flowing around her hands, she can form four claws which extend over her fist, invisible save for a slight ripple in the air. In addition, when utilized in an attack, the ribbons gain a hard edge of sharp amethyst-like stone which vibrate, creating a lighter clearer song along with the rest of the resonating strands.

Attack: Baion Atsureki (Harmonic Discord) wolf bite
When the vibrating strands bite into an opponent’s flesh, the song which is released into the body is layered with intense emotions and thoughts. At each strike, the song delves deeper, threading itself into the very essence of the person and impressing these into their mind. Thus for every turn the opponent falls under sway, whether deeply affected or only barely perceiving, 2% of Okaeshin’s hakuda stat is “stolen” from the opponent’s highest stat and added to her hakuda stat.

At the start, Okaeshin is only able to impress this attack for 1 turn per battle, though it increases an additional turn for every 1000 connection she gains.

The constant impact of emotion is draining, thus it costs 3% reiatsu for every turn it’s used and can only be used for a limit of 4 turns.

The song itself is laced with the emotions and thoughts the ability ingrains into the opponent and it's volume can be controlled by Okaeshin to an extent of a 20 feet radius.

Note: The reaction of every opponent under the influence of this ability is different in both power and effect. Factors which affect the this ability include Okaeshin’s own depth of emotion at the time and the way the opponent usually deals with such emotions and thoughts. It’s very open to interpretation and will depends mainly on common sense.
 
First Stage

Sometimes you need a man found. Sometimes you need to know where a man's been...

The Map: Everything you touch, handle, or care about develops a bond to you which can be traced, if you know how.

A simple object can tell Arata both where the owner currently is, and where they were when they were in contact with the item. How long the target was in contact with the item in question, and how much the item was 'cared' for plays a large role in determining the effectiveness of The Map. For instance, a newspaper, simply read on the bus for 15 minutes and then discarded would be practically useless, barely useful for telling Arata which hemisphere the target is in. But take a treasured item like a picture of the target's family from his wallet, and Arata would nearly be able to tell you to a foot where the target was. That very same picture can also be used to find out where he or she had been with that item in tow, truly completing the map.

There are limits, of course.

The ability cannot transfer through planes of existence. If Shiroi himself came and left his favorite chewtoy on Arata's doorstep before returning to Soul Society, The Map would be unable to tell where the old man had gone. There would instead be a fuzzy reading, a reading that Arata will come to equate with the target being dead and gone, when in actuality they have crossed over to another world.

This ability is obviously RP intensive, relying on the game world and characters rather than stats or charts.

Cost: ? (Possible depending on the reiatsu of the target? Toughie... Whaddya think?)


Submerged Mind: Arata is not a fighter, and besides his fists has little protection against those who would harm him. Submerged Mind helps even the odds in the event that he is forced into a battle that he cannot avoid.

After activating the passive ability, Arata's mind unconciously works to undermine his opponents, manifesting itself in slower response times and trouble reacting to rapidly changing circumstances.

This ability is most effective against those weaker than Arata, and those whose minds are already simplistic (d-class or generally stupid hollows).

50% of Arata's strength = 2x effectiveness, mental slowness pronounced and effective
100% of Arata's strength = 1x effectiveness, mental slowness evident
200% of Arata's strength = .5x effectiveness, hardly any noticeable difference

This ability costs 2% of Arata's reiatsu per turn of use in combat. The cost multiplies by the number of opponents he is using this on, though his mind cannot affect more than 5 targets at once.

Bankai


Sourei Wa Ikichi Ni Ueru (Sourei hungers for lifeblood)

A caste’s overseer is the very personification of her caste’s identity, spirit and specialty. As such, Hitome is a very devoted artist. Having always been the bloodthirsty type, she therefore concentrates on creating art with just that – blood.

Form:
Two Baumsägen that are connected via a chain (Sg. Baumsäge, pl. Baumsägen). A dagger hangs from the middle of the chain.
Baumsäge

Ability: Blood Preserves
In order to create her art, to turn the fight into art, Hitome needs as much blood as possible- be it her own or an enemy’s. As such it is her goal draw as much as she can. Therefore, she has to fight as long as possible to be able to spill more blood. To ensure that, Hitome regenerates 4% of her total reiatsu every time a wound is dealt. This energy is used to repair the wounds dealt to her. The most threatening are first.


Attack 1: Blood Kills
Hitome deliberately uses her bloodlust for her own benefit. This way the more blood is spilled, the bigger her bloodlust grows, the stronger she gets. Every time an injury is dealt, be it on herself or the enemy, the damage Hitome inflicts in all following strikes is increased by 3%, to a cap of 18%. After an initial wound is landed, for every round that an injury is not dealt, the damage inflicted is reduced by 1%.

Attack 2: Blood twists
Hitome’s insatiable hunger for blood manifest itself in the way the blond Vizard relentlessly assaults her enemies, but more than surely, it’s not limited to that. In her desire to literally spill every single drop of blood inside her enemies, Hitome ends up tainting the very material she so dearly treasures. All blood that enters in contact with the cursed saws in Hitome’s possession is instantly affected by the incomprehensible hunger exuding from the voluptuous Vizard and mutate into a substance that still conserves its deep, crimson coloration, but that shares the same degree of lethality of a potent acid. If she so desires, and by paying an amount equal to 2% of her current Reiatsu, Hitome can instill a degree of freedom into the blood, allowing it to actually leap from her blade in search of the enemy’s flesh. Making contact with the tainted blood causes flesh to decay and other solid materials to slowly decompose by the highly acidic properties of the substance.


Attack 3: Blood devours
Every time blood is drawn, a small part of it is drawn into the dagger hanging from the chain. Every round Hitome does not release it (and blood is spilled) the reiatsu in the blood is saved within it, which twists the reiatsu. When Hitome decides to, she can bore the dagger into the enemy’s flesh and inject the reiatsu into him. The dead reiatsu then rapidly eats away the flesh around the wound that becomes necrotic. It takes three rounds of spilling blood to load the dagger. However, due to the strength of the attack, it can only be used once per opponent per battle.


Vizard Attack: Life Blood No more
Hitome’s Vizard attack seizes all the blood that so far has been spilled. It gathers together and forms a wall that has acid properties. Hitome sends it bolting at the enemy via mind order. The wall, rather than just clashing with the enemy, has the ability to engulf him. The acid then sticks to the opponent and burns him for three rounds. Afterwards, it changes back into blood again. The dimensions of the wall depend on how much blood was spilled. If blood was spilled one time, the wall is half the enemy’s size. If it’s spilled two times, it’s the enemy’s size. If three times, it’s 1,5x the enemy’s size. That also is the maximum size. Hitome can use it by spending 5% rage. She gains 2% emptiness



Shikai:

Ikichi Wa Hitsuro… Sourei (Seize the lifeblood… Sourei)

Form:
One Baumsäge that has a chain hanging from one end. (Sg. Baumsäge, pl. Baumsägen).

Attack/Ability:
Blood is sought and seized in Bankai, blood is sought and seized in Shikai. Every round blood flows, the damage Hitome inflicts in all following strikes is increased by 3%, to a cap of 18%. After an initial wound is landed, for every round that an injury is not dealt, the damage inflicted is reduced by 1%.

Vizard Attack:
Hitome’s Vizard attack forms an acid wall out of the blood that has been spilled. Hitome can have the wall clash with the enemy and engulf him. The amount of blood spilled is proportional to the size of the wall. If blood is spilled one time, the wall’s size equals a third of the enemy. If it is spilled two times, the size is two thirds of the enemy. If it is spilled three times, it’s the size of the enemy. That also is the maximum size. Hitome uses it by spending 3% rage and gaining 2% emptiness.
 
I'm resubmitting my kai because not only is it kinda lame, but it doesn't fit Seraf's character or background, it was kinda just random n stuff, so yah, here goes.

Name: Hephaestus – God of the forge, crafts, fire

Release Command: Light the forges, Hephaestus!

Manifestation: Hephaestus always appears in the form of an older man standing in front of a large forge. He is a behemoth, tall as the very skies in his world, the master smith, the lord over the forge. His arms and legs sport muscles that are as thick as buildings, knotted and hard.

His feet are covered in thick leather boots, blackened by all the soot and grim, scorched where sparks had fallen. He wears a black leather apron that covers his chest to his feet, held up by frayed threads of huge thick cord. Dark gloves protect his hands as they work with the flames and searing hot metal. Upon his hard face with its hard edges and flat nose is an unkempt beard extending only slightly below his chin, the edges burnt and broken.

His eyes are like blazing infernos, captivating, horrifying. Seraf has never been able to get too close to his manifestation due to the immense heat from the giants forge, even at a distance he is dwarfed by miles. The behemoth of Seraf’s own personal forge.

Hephaestus

Form: Seraf's blade takes the form of two different styled blacksmith hammers. Each is about 3 1/2 feet long and has long handles to hold by. While they are not necessarily decorative to look at, being tools for killing, what would be the point in it, there are a few glowing red runes that sit in different places on the hammers.

Abilities: One for each hand they are lighter than they appear, yet have an enormous weight to them for anyone other than Seraf that touches them. One might find themselves pulling with all their strength to only have one hammer move an inch off the ground. For a cost of 50 reiatsu a hammer, Seraf can make the hammers feel lighter or heavier with a limit of 500 pounds lighter to 500 pounds heavier, with each increment of weight being 100 pounds.

The Forges Heat: Another ability of Seraf’s hammers is the ability to become a source of immense heat. With the expenditure of 100 reiatsu Seraf can increase the heat output of his hammers by 200°C with a maximum of 1000°C. He must spend an additional 100 reiatsu to raise the heat another 200°C. The enemy will literally feel the heat coming off of the hammers in waves and can cause searing pain when Seraf lands a successful blow. Seraf will be unaffected by the heat levels until it hits 800-1000°C where he can only sustain the temperature for a short time(only 1-2 turns).

Attack:

Hephaestus’s Malice:
At a cost of 100 reiatsu per attack Seraf can build up his energy to exert an explosion of energy in the form of fire. The range of the attack is 20 yards around Seraf and can extend about 20 feet into the air. The flames are intense and cause painful burns and scorches on the skin and in severe cases can melt skin right off the bone.

Shikai

'death/immortality/praise'

Release: Deterior, Thana (deteriorate, Thana)

Form: A pair of Sai made of black metal with red-wrapped grips.

Attacks and Abilities: Upon striking an opponent, and at the cost of 2% reiatsu, Rin may inject her opponent her reiatsu through her opponent’s wound. This poison will lay dormant in her opponent until Rin calls upon to inflict one of her two abilities. If Rin wishes to use both abilities she must repeat this. If, after an ability is over, she wishes to use it again, she must also insert new reiatsu into her opponent.

Dilabor (fall apart) Upon calling this ability, and after completing the necessary insertion of her reiatsu at a 2% cost, Rin can cause the deterioration of the opponents muscles: A fast-acting atrophy effect surrounding the wound, the skin will blacken and dry out, severely limiting movement. Every turn deals 2% of Rin’s total reiatsu in damage. The ability can only be maintained by Rin for a total of three turns. The atrophy will also spread, though very slowly and not much further from the original wound, each turn.

Oblivio (forget) Upon calling this ability, and after completing the necessary insertion of her reiatsu at a 2% cost, Rin cause the deterioration of the opponents mind. While Oblivio is active, Rin may force her opponent to hallucinate, seeing copies of her Sai, up to three per turn, which she can use to distract or confuse them. At a limit of two per battle, Rin may also cause the opponent to see copies of herself. At every 500 connection Rin may create one more copy, at a limit of 5.

Theme: Deterioration. Thana’s attack focuses on the deterioration of the flesh, while her ability the deterioration of the mind.​

Moot feels like submerged mind is too unrelated to the map though and needs to be tied in better, so.... you can use the ability for now and resubmit the rest if you want.

Ability - cap the max that can be regenerated in a battle to 40%, and specify that you can't go over 100% of your max rei with it (if you're using it while already at max, for example)

attack 3 is a little vague but fine

last attack needs the cost pumped way up if you want it to be effective. say like 20% rage and throw in some rei as well, since you're regenerating it anyway

basically your first two abilities are cool but the exploding attack throws it over the edge as a 3 ability kai. you can either drop the attack and have those two abilities for your kai or you can rework stuff and resubmit it. your call^^

1st ability - just cap the effect to 3 turns, you dont need to have it grow with conn

2nd - its a bit too concrete for a hallucination, essentially becoming more like a clone kidou or something. with a hallucination, its probably not going to be so much under your control, but something that has to be RP'd by the other guy. You might say they are seeing in triple vision or something, but anyway it needs a little changin. also needs a round limit, but it can be longer than the first one.

Spirit Manifestation
A large female wolf with white wings, Kokoro no Hitotsuboshi has a myriad of violet tribal markings covering her white fur. She has thick fur at her legs, saber fangs, and eyes the same color as Okaeshin’s.

To her, Okaeshin is just a grown up baby sister, one who she can be immensely proud of. Kokoro cares about her deeply, but is not above teasing her relentlessly whenever the opportunity arises. Equally as playful, but a lot more sensible, and incredibly fierce in battle, she complements her wielder’s youthful passion with her wisdom, but gets easily frustrated when her advice is not heeded.

Released Form
When Okaeshin strikes her sealed zanpakutou vertically in the ground, the impact sets a vibration (similar to a tuning fork), and as she speaks the release command, the blade flows back around Okaeshin's hands, turning into incredibly thin strands of silk-like steel. The steel strands wrap around her hands, forming into wrist and hand wraps the same color as the unreleased uchigatana's blade. The strands finish loosely, forming a long ribbon on each end of the wrap, flowing continuously around Okaeshin's forearms over waves of sound. The individual strands in the wrap are sharp and as they vibrate, causing a slight tearing affect with each strike.

With the sound waves Okaeshin has flowing around her hands, four claws form around her fists, invisible save for a slight ripple in the air. In addition, when utilized in an attack, the ribbons gain a hard edge of sharp amethyst-like stone, which vibrate, creating a lighter clearer song along with the rest of the resonating strands.

Every now and then, streaks of deeper violet lance through the wraps in tribal shapes.

Seiki (True Heart)

In the depths of a fighter is a hunter, a beast, a feral spirit, a true heart few people can ever bring themselves to recognize. With Seiki, the hidden depths of Okaeshin’s passion surface for all to see, and her instincts sharpen, elevating her wilder nature and decreasing her opponent’s combat effectiveness by 5%.

With such raw instinct unleashed, the control Okaeshin had as a civilized being all but vanishes, leaving behind an individual surging with dynamic emotions. These emotions radiate from Okaeshin in vigorous torrents, revealing her deepest feelings for all to witness, whether it be fear, anger, despair, love, or happiness.

Once Kokoro no Hitotsuboshi is released, this ability is always active.


Kyuomei no Kinsen (Resonating Heartstrings)

The fear of the unknown had often haunted Okaeshin as a young street girl living in a hiding world. In order to overcome, she found the solution was not fighting the fear, but discovering what made her afraid. And so the unknown becomes known.

Strengthening the hum of her blades by singing softly and taking strength from her zanpakutou spirit's howl, Okaeshin can reverberate objects, and in receiving the disturbance of the air in return, she can map out the affected area in a 50 feet radius, including anything or any person within it. At first, she is only able to pierce one layer and for one turn before losing her control, be it through floor or wall with a thickness of 3 feet. Every 500 connection, she can penetrate another layer and gain a turn of control. Subtle and efficient, this ability is difficult to detect unless those in the affected area have reiatsu 1.5 times that of Okaeshin’s.

Each turn costs 100 reiatsu

The hum and song are audible to those within a 20 feet radius of Okaeshin, and cannot be heard through a wall. The steady sound is punctuating by a rhythm of beats, but it seems to weave in and out of itself, giving it the musical quality of a canon.

'death/immortality/praise'

Release: Deterior, Thana (deteriorate, Thana)

Form: A pair of Sai made of black metal with red-wrapped grips.

Attacks and Abilities: Upon striking an opponent, and at the cost of 2% reiatsu, Rin may inject her opponent her reiatsu through her opponent’s wound. This poison will lay dormant in her opponent until Rin calls upon to inflict one of her two abilities. If Rin wishes to use both abilities she must repeat this. If, after an ability is over, she wishes to use it again, she must also insert new reiatsu into her opponent.

Dilabor (fall apart) Upon calling this ability, and after completing the necessary insertion of her reiatsu at a 2% cost, Rin can cause the deterioration of the opponents muscles: A fast-acting atrophy effect surrounding the wound, the skin will blacken and dry out, severely limiting movement. Every turn deals 2% of Rin’s total reiatsu in damage. The ability can only be maintained by Rin for a total of three turns. The atrophy will also spread, though very slowly and not much further from the original wound, each turn.

Oblivio (forget) Upon calling this ability, and after completing the necessary insertion of her reiatsu at a 2% cost, Rin cause the deterioration of the opponents mind. While Oblivio is active, Rin's opponent will hallucinate, seeing copies of herself and her Sai. These hallucinations will appear to be very real, the opponent being able to hear them and if they are hit by one, they will think that they feel it. Rin has no direct contol over these hallucinations, however. The affect of this will last for only five turns.

Theme: Deterioration. Thana’s attack focuses on the deterioration of the flesh, while her ability the deterioration of the mind.

Name: Kyouten – [Lit Trans] Teaching Guide

Release: Sentou! Kyouten! – [Lit Trans] Lead! Teaching Guide!

Form: When the blade is released, a magical metamorphosis occurs for Kihou’s zanpakutou. Her sheath disappears at her side, apparently exploding in a manner that shoots a cloud of dust up around the girl. The blast itself causes no damage to the girl and is merely used as a distraction while the blade transforms into its true form. As the smoke fades and the blue eyed girl comes back into view it becomes apparent that there is a shackle around her neck. The shackle is grey and color and fits snugly around her neck, just loose enough to not be choking the girl.

The shackle itself severs as a base and a secondary ring of metal sits around the edge of the shackle. This ring I free to spin around in rapid succession without causing any sort of discomfort to the girl’s neck what so ever. Attached to this secondary ring is a thick metal chain which is grey in color, just like the rest of the contraption around the girl’s neck. The chain itself runs about twenty feet in length and at the opposing end of the chain lays the shinigami’s true weapon.

The blade itself has transformed itself into the visage of a overly large key. The key is ten feet in length, and its sharp blade that looks similar to the edge of an axe, is three feet long and a foot wide. The base of the key itself takes up two feet of the weapons overall length, and it complete with a grip and guard which could be used when wielding the weapon. The remaining five feet of the key is a simple pole that connects the base of the key to the giant bladed edge known as the key’s ‘tooth’. The key is black in color and has a pair of eye sockets on either side of the ‘tooth’. These sockets look to have been ripped apart and then sown up, having large white crosses over each socket.

Ability - Jigaannai [Lit – Self Aware] – Upon release of her blade, Kihou actually gains the ability to physically do nothing in her battles. The spirit of her zanpakutou awakens and takes control of its true form. Thus the girl relies on the power of the sword to do combat for her. The sword itself is self aware and can move anywhere it pleases within a ten foot radius of the young girl. However the blade can only reach to the end of the length of chain. It’s speed of movement is determined directly by Kihou’s Zanjutsu stat. This ability has a cost of 1% total reiatsu upkeep per turn.

Attack - Jiten [Lit – Spin] – By paying 1% of her total reiatsu, the scientist is able to use her reiatsu to vibrate the chain attached to her weapon. The vibrations come so rapidly that soon the blade is spinning in a tight circle, becoming an effective shield to deflect attacks with as well as becoming a devastating and brutal buzz saw. When the blade comes into contact with something as dense as another zanpakutou, the force of the spin usually causes both blades to repel off of each other, effectively repelling and attack but also sending Kihou’s weapon flying backwards and leaving her open to an attack.

Name: Queen Of Hearts

Appearance: Upon uttering the release of "Bankai!" Noburu's tattooed right hand glows and pulsates with an otherworldly light. A flash of light and a clap of thunder transform the Vizard into a blindingly fast engine of destruction.

Queen Of Hearts takes the form of a crimson hued bodysuit that appears to be made of a nearly metallic material. Noburu's own iron resolve and sense of justice seems to pulse and flow through the suit, augmenting her combat options with the following abilities:

Ability: Determined Heart Relying on her speed forces Noburu to adopt a more liberal style of dispatching her enemies. Because of this she has learned to focus the momentum from her shunpo and isolate it into her fists. After exiting a shunpo, Noburu's attacks cause an additional 1% damage for each 10 steps taken in the previous shunpo. The damage boost caps at 20%, and lasts for one round.

Ability: Racing Heart Noburu's reliance on her speed in combat also forces her to push her body to its absolute limit. While in Bankai, Noburu is able to move at speeds that ordinary Shinigami could only dream of. Noburu's shunpo distance increases by 1.5x its normal amount while Queen Of Hearts is active.

Attack: Unwavering Heart While Noburu's tremendous speed enables her to dodge most attacks, the need may arise to protect others in the field of battle who are unable to protect themselves. By expending 3% of her Reiatsu, Noburu may perform 2 separate steps of shunpo in one turn, utilizing the momentum between them to create a field of opposing force. This attack is capable of deflecting 10% of Noburu's Hohou worth of damage.

Vizard Attack: Burning Heart A step up from her Smash of Profane Thunders feat, Noburu has utilized the greater reiatsu control afforded to her in Bankai to refine the attack. By expending 20% Rage, 10% Reiatsu and generating 10% Emptiness, Noburu can compress and fortify the normal energy of her Cero into a highly dense form. The compacted Cero is kept in a condensed state by the speed at which Noburu moves, making the attack a sort of bum's rush. The speed of the attack combined with the extreme compression of the Cero demand this attack be used in an open palm thrust, leading to the name of the technique. Upon impact, the compression releases, sending the full force of the fortified blast shooting forward in one massive burst. The damage for the attack is based on normal Cero damage further increased by any reiatsu Noburu chooses to spend after the initial cost, up to a maximum of 80% of her total reiatsu.

Upon being released, Asatsuyu Tenshi retains that exact same appearance as it was in its sealed state. The only noticeable difference is that the kissaki itself seems to shine slightly brighter than usual and the zanpakutou as a whole seems to be much cleaner.

Note: Due to the lack of any drastic form change, Asatsuyu Tenshi may still be released while it is still in its saya.

”God and Man Critical Eye”

The legendary fighting style that had been passed down from Katuro’s sensei to him has burned within him even after his tragic death and entrance in the realm known as Soul Society. The fighting style itself calls for precision and an accurate prediction of what and how one would react to an opponent’s next move while also adapting to the move after that. The style itself is said to be created by some Guardian Angel of War, thus explaining its complexity and godlike precision. Asatsuyu Tenshi has an ability that allows Katsuro to not only ‘see’ his opponent’s moves, but also react accordingly to any attack or situation without hesitation; a trait men have thrived to achieve.

Upon Asatsuyu Tenshi’s release, unique threads of reiatsu are sent straight to Katsuro’s eyes, causing them to glow an even brighter gray, ultimately making him appear as if he is crying. Those reiatsu signatures sent to his eyes are almost untraceable, even to the most experienced shinigami. These threads allow Katsuro to actually ‘see’ his opponent’s moves in a slower motion than actually seen, thus allowing him to react accordingly. Due to the slightly slower speed of what he is seeing, this allows him to act accordingly without hesitation. In addition to this, all sense of hesitation upon the execution of any move is immediately nullified, thus drastically increasing his accuracy of not only predicting, but also the severity of each blow, ultimately giving Katsuro a 25% increase in damage with each blow involving his zanpakutou.



Because of the nullification of any hesitation, Katsuro’s reflexes and speed are also drastically heightened due to this ability; ultimately giving him a 10% increase in hohou.

Due to the vast amount of concentration one needs to allow this ability to reach its maximum, Katsuro must decrease the flow of his kidou ryouku cells. Because of this, no Hadou may be used while this ability is in effect. This effect is activated upon the initial release of Asatsuyu Tenshi. It can not be de-activated and is not an optional ability to activate.

[ Chuukou Museigen ]

"Resurgence Limitless"

The reiatsu and the flow of reiatsu in Asatsuyu Tenshi is unique in a way that it cannot be sensed by anyone other than its wielder. Due to this, like Tenjin Hihyougan, the threads that link Katsuro to the ability of Asatsuyu Tenshi to see in a slower motion than the average shinigami are also present in the zanpakutou itself. Thus, after the young shinigami finally placed his entire trust in his zanpakutou, he now has access to the primary attack of Asatsuyu Tenshi, Chuukou Museigen.

When released, Asatsuyu Tenshi emanates the same reiatsu signature as the threads around its entire body in the form of a bright blue aura. Thus, no other shinigami other than Katsuro can see this. This aura represents the strength within Asatsuyu Tenshi and allows the reiatsu of Katsuro to bond with it. In the form of slashing his zanpakutou, a wave of reiatsu is released that has the potential to cause catastrophic damage. This attack takes the form of a wave in the motion that Asatsuyu Tenshi was moved and is seen as the color blue. The wave itself can be manipulated in order to suit the young shinigami’s needs; it could be as large as a tidal wave or as miniscule as a few ripples or specks in the air.

There is neither cost nor limit to how many waves Katsuro can release, however there is a limit to how big the waves can be. Starting at a maximum height of one meter, at every 1,000 Connection another meter is added, capping at 15 meters (15,000 Connection). The amount of damage each wave is able to do is equal to 1/5th of Katsuro’s Zanjutsu.

Stat Boost Kai: Koutei (Emperor)

Release Command: "Meijiru, Koutei."

Transformation and form: Holding his hand in prayer and standing straight, Syfir says "Meijiru...". Then his zanpakutou begins to make a sound similar to vibrating steel. The huge blade releases a fume of hot air, giving a mirage-like illusion, and the sheath fuses itself to the zanpakutou as if it melted onto it. Syfir then grabs the blade and swings it overhead. The blade is a jagged, cleaving broadsword that's about one feet longer and one inch thicker than normal. The blade is seemingly clear and crystalline. There are five diagonal engravings on each side of the blade from the bottom to the top that glow either red or blue on both sides to indicate syncs (read Enjin). When the melting stops on Koutei and the hot air dissipates, Syfir finishes by saying, "...Koutei."

Ability 1: Enjin (Circle): This ability allows Syfir to "Sync" positively (indicated by blue ring around the wrists) or negatively (indicated by red ring around the neck) with up to 5 people within 40 meters. Syfir can open a two-way communication link between himself and a synced person; the link is limited to one person at a time. Always active.

Ability 2: Sousui (Commander) (Cost 2% reiatsu per turn active, cannot be active during Sakuryaku)

This ability allows for Syfir to boost the abilities (stats) of those with a positive sync (not including himself) by 3% of Syfir's highest stat.

Ability 3: Sakuryaku (Tactic) (cost = 5% of total reiatsu)

This ability allows Syfir to place a target on a negatively synced person. Those positively synced will be able to see the target visually in the form of a red glowing beacon. The target will have their stats reduced by 3%of Syfir's highest stat for two turns.
