True Awakening - Sabishii Arano

[Kugyou]
Penance

Having finally accepted the darkness within him, Arano’s body becomes a vessel for this darkness. His skin gains a slight toxic green tint to it, with his pupils and iris switching colours within his eyes. His body disappears amidst the sounds of ripping flesh and snapping bones as his transformation takes itself beyond what it was meant to be. A pair of ridged ram horns emerges from his head, curling behind his ear and straightening out just above his chin. His entire spinal column thickens and grows outwards, extending into a grotesque tail extending from his lower back and ending in a serrated barb.

The rest of his body has become completely lost amidst various formations of bone, not the least of which being his forearms which have become completely encased in the substance, forming into gruesome gauntlets ending in skeletal claws. At this point, blood loss is no longer an issue, but creating Kugyou devours 10% of Arano’s reiatsu to infuse with the bone and suppress the pain to a bearable point.

[Kyuushutsu]
Deliverance

The once painful process of moulding the weapons created by his Awakening has begot a near-mastery of it, allowing him to shape the skeletal gauntlets that encompass his arms without cost. The gauntlets do have a fixed mass however, making the extent to which they can be moulded limited unless Arano wishes to pay to create more bone. Detaching the weapons or creating extra bone to mould, however, costs him 500 reiatsu per foot, with the limit for the amount of feet per weapon being 20 feet, with the same costs applying to extending any weapons from the gauntlets. The limit for the amount of feet per weapon increases by 2 for every 3000 harmony Arano has.

Additionally, these weapons may be launched forcefully as projectiles from the gauntlets for an extra 250 reiatsu. Their endurance is stronger than before, now having the resilience akin to that of a sealed zanpakutou.

Here we gooo~

Reijuu Kyuketsu - Shikai & Bankai

Shikai: Zansatsu (Massacre) – “Scream, Zansatsu.” [惨殺]

FORM: Its overall appearance remains the same, albeit growing longer from just a simple katana to that of a full blown nodachi, if not a tad bit longer. The entirety of the sword’s blade is now bathed in an abysmal shade of black, accompanied with a rich purple outline surrounding its sharpened edges and tip. Each swing with it causes a faint, yet still noticeable whispering from its edge, reminiscent of someone ‘praying.’

INNER WORLD: A vast pool of gray water as far as the eye can see, accompanied only by the purple sky and black clouds that hang high above in the heavens. From every conceivable area of space, the somber whispers of what it seems to be children in prayer fill the ears. Sitting idly by the skies are three red moons. When Kyuketsu enters this unforeseen realm, normally he is able to walk on the water’s surface. When his mind is troubled, his footing lowers― the water now reaching to his upper ankles. When despair and utter grief consumes his soul, he sinks down to what it seems to be an eternal plunge to oblivion.

MANIFESTATION: No gender, no face, no nothing. All it requires is but a name, and as Zansatsu is materialized in full shape and form, its being rises up from the murky waters of Kyuketsu’s inner world and takes the shape of a vast angel-like silhouette with horns that stands monstrously tall, reaching even the satellites that hang high above the realm. The shadow itself is pitch-black, and like the physical appearance of the sword, a deep purple outline surrounds the silhouette’s entirety. Zansatsu talks in a deep, almost demandingly authoritative tone of voice.

Hakudou Tenshi (Heartless Angel) - 薄情天使

At the cost of 500 reiatsu, Kyuketsu can endow his blade with a curse, first needing to cut the victim with his zanpakutou to let their blood seep into its malevolent blade. Each subsequent wound after that (caused by the sword, of course), the victim’s nerve receptors are jammed by Zansatsu, causing 5x more pain than a normal sword-based injury does.

Sesshou (Destruction of Life) -判決

Imbuing his blade with a charge of pure and concentrated reiatsu, Kyuketsu can fire a streak of energy towards opponents causing damage equivalent to the cost of 5% of his current reiatsu. Growing a meter every 1k Connection achieved, it maxes its distance at 15 meters. The width of the blast constantly remains at a maximum of 5 feet, retaining its condensed form to do the most damage to the victim. It can either be thrown as a plain beam of energy or that of a crescent-shaped projectile.

Yuurei (Ghost) - 幽霊

Kyuketsu can slash a number of strokes for the cost of 500 reiatsu per turn, leaving purple streaks of his cuts’ trails floating in the space where they where originally swung. Once any foreign object comes in contact with one of the streaks, it detonates and causes the same amount of damage used by Kyuketsu to slash his blade (based entirely on the Zanjutsu stat). Each streak only lasts 3 turns, growing weaker in strength after every turn before eventually disappearing. At 1,000 Connection, he is only able to generate one of the phantom strokes. They grow in number after each thousand surpassed, capping at ten when reach at 10,000 Connection. Since the damage is practically a normal swing from Kyuketsu’s sword suspended in space, it will not be able to cut or break substances the shinigami cannot cut on his own (i.e. certain zanpakutous, certain armors, and other stronger fortified objects). He must wait a whole turn before using the move once again.

---------------------------------------------------------

Bankai: Zantetsuken Shiryou Zansatsu (Iron-Cutting Sword, Phantom Massacre) - 斬鉄剣死霊惨殺

FORM: Though his sword retains its shikai appearance, a semi-transparent aura of purple bathes around Kyuketsu’s entire body, forming a giant arm of sorts that encompass his entire right arm from shoulder to hand. Floating just a few inches away from the right arm is a slightly exaggerated version of a samurai armor’s sode (shoulder armor), kote (sleeve armor), and tekko (hand guard) placed on their respective areas while coated with a grand black paint. The purple aura continues over the shinigami’s body as it seemingly drapes over his form. Aside from the armguard, the most prominent of the release’s appearance is the set of angel wings on Kyuketsu’s back which are seemingly made up of the same aura that wraps around his body. They move according to his will and even break off feathers if the reaper moves in a hurry.

Hakudou Tenshi (Heartless Angel) - 薄情天使

Like in his shikai, this move has the ability to jam an opponent’s nerve receptors once the blade comes in contact with their blood and they are hit once more by Zansatsu. Simultaneously, it also causes an increase in blood loss that is equivalent to the increase in pain. Once in bankai, Hakudou Tenshi’s initial threshold is broken and Kyuketsu can intensify the increase in pain/blood loss. Now, Kyuketsu can expend 5% reiatsu into the move. The amount of pain/blood loss is equal to 10% the amount of reiatsu Kyuketsu expended. (Ex: At 15,000 reiatsu, 750 reiatsu will be spent. The amount of pain and blood loss will be 7.5x more intense). This move caps at 30,000 reiatsu.

Saigo Sesshou (Final Destruction of Life) - 最後殺生

Imbuing his blade with a charge of pure and concentrated reiatsu, Kyuketsu can fire a streak of condensed spirit energy towards opponents causing damage depending on how much reiatsu he uses (the amount now ranging from 5% to 25%). Its base distance is 50 feet, and grows by 10 feet after every 1,000 Connection achieved, capping at 35 meters or 150 feet. Its base width starts at 5 feet in circumference and grows by 1 feet after every 2,000 Connection gained, capping at 10. It can be fired as either a straightforward beam or as a crescent-shaped projectile.

Yuurei (Ghost) - 幽霊

Having almost the same concept as with its shikai counterpart, the phantom slashes are now greatly enhanced with bankai. Unlike before where the target must make actual contact with the floating streaks, once their blood seeps into Zansatsu’s blade (from previous wounds, assuming there were any) and Yuurei is activated, the phantom cuts are now more inclined to detonate if the blood donor comes near it without even touching it. At 10,000 Connection, the target must be at least a foot away from the phantom cuts for them to self-activate. Growing by another foot for every 2,000 achieved, the distance radius caps at 14,000 Connection with 3 feet. From 10 summoned streaks, the number also grows to a maximum of 15 for every 1,000 Connection gained. The same damage calculation and streak resiliency applies (3 turn lifespan, etc.). This move now costs 1,000 reiatsu.

[Note: ‘Detonating’ practically means that the streak will shatter and cause the set damage/cut to anything within its allotted radius, and not actually exploding in flames.]

I was going to wait until staff caught up a bit before posting, but since everyone else and their mother posted anyway, there's really no point in not posting. So I'mma post and wait patiently. >_>

Owen Isaac Kundera - Shi Kai

柳枝 – Willow Branch (Yanagieda)

Manifestation:
Yanagieda takes the form of a black-winged angel. He wears a black robe, shredded and frayed at the ends. His hands are pale and bony. His face is mostly obscured by the hood of his robe, all that can be seen is the pale skin of his chin and blood-red (perhaps blood stained) lips. Owen has never seen his actual face.

Release Phrase: “Lay waste, Yanagieda.”

Form: A set of wooden tonfa.

Attack: 骨折 – Fracture (Kossetsu)
-Yanagieda is not a normal set of tonfa. Each shaft contains a second shaft within that, when this attack is activated, slides out the end, preparing to strike back in like a pile driver. When the pile slams back in, the sudden release of energy creates a concussive blast at the end of the tonfa, capable of striking anything within roughly four inches of the end. This blast is strong enough to cripple most mundane materials, as well as any reiatsu based barrier with power less than the cost of the attack. Owen must pay 5% reiatsu per tonfa for this attack, and can choose to use one or both at the same time.

Vizard Attack: 荒廃 – Devastation (Kouhai)
-This attack combines the concussive power of Kossetsu with the brute force of a Cero. By paying the normal cost of a Cero (20% Rage, 10% Reiatsu, gaining 10% Emptiness) as well as the 5% Reiatsu cost of Kossetsu, Owen can form the mass of Cero energy at the end of either tonfa, than engage a pile driver attack. This launches the entirety of the Cero in one single blast, rather than a beam, causing a large explosion. Because the Cero is concentrated in one blast, it gains a 25% boost in power. The explosion radius is roughly 20 feet.

Quite a few of you vizard reviews included notes to add emptiness when you use rage. The system for vizards might be updated soon to create that percentage for you, but if it does you’ll just be editing it to reflect that so you can go ahead and take a stab at things now if you want.

Vans
Shikai
Ability- you have a concrete effect but a percent cost. Also the potential for abuse is enormous because you could auto-dodge everything.
Vizard attack- if it uses rage it ought to add emptiness. Also all of that’s way over the rei allowed for a shikai level attack.
Bankai
Ability- same problem as Shikai
Attacks 1 and 2 work
Attack 3- the cost goes up but the effect stays the same—maybe do something like a cost multiplier on the hohou list.
Vizard attack- generic nuke is generic, but this also needs to generate emptiness

Kish
You’re good to go

Bloodhawk
Attack- ok the wording makes it sound like this is meant to automatically hit, and that’s not allowed. What are you boosting here? Speed? That should be a zan boost for like a turn. Impact of the hit? That would just be the extra rei but work on the wording to make it reflect that.
Ability- that radius is a little much for shikai, unless you add a reasonable cost. Also limit it down to something more specific, like a single sense is heightened or something. Also it isn’t really connected to the attack at all by the way.

Tom
Form and 1st are fine.
2nd- healing thing is just way to strong so probably just take it out entirely. Also the size of the objects being absorbed should probably be addressed somewhere.
3rd- it’s like a version of the 2nd where you can negate all damage by saying it’s to a part of the metal that isn’t you, so that’s like invincibility.

Shade
Add a reasonable amount of emptiness for the amount of rage.

Et
Well it would’ve worked if it weren’t EXACTLY the same as Shu’s FS plus a buff. So actually unless you can get Shu to confirm he’s not gonna use that character again (he’s been around a bit lately) then start over please.

Robtex
You're up next time.

Seraph
This is basically acceptable as a first stage, so you can say it’s approved and go with it if you want, but I’d recommend resubmitting. Why is there a cost for the form? And maybe just—think bigger with the ability.

Wayne
Shikai
Ok try to make these all a little more unified to a theme because right now they don’t really go together, although individually they pretty much work.
Attack 1- what does 5X pain really mean? Just clear that up for me. Or just say it hurts super bad.
Attack 2 and 3 are too strong to put together in a shikai so maybe weaken them and make them fit the theme a little better or in theory they are fine individually so dropping one would let the other stay stronger.
Bankai
Also work on unifying the theme. Is it blowing stuff up? Is it blood?
Attack 1- same deal as shikai.
Attack 2- make the continuum a lot smaller than 5-25%, 15-25%.
Attack 3- is fine if you can work out the mechanics of hitting like a sword from something that looks like an explosion. Also it doesn’t really seem to go with the concept if the concept is blood.

Cheese
The Shikai is simple and fine.
The 25% damage boost is too much. It can have the 5% boost over the cero from the extra rei expended but that’s it. But it's approved with that change.

Aimz and Lamboton
Post again when you’ve gotten everything settled for sure w/ vizard stuff included (Lambo I just wasn’t sure if you were all set or not).

Beaks
The underlying mechanics need a bit of work. Basically a speed boost is probably going to come from a zan buff, which you could have to both yourself and then concentrated for like a 2x the boost single strike. Also the second attack in bankai needs to affect something more specific or limited than just all momentum because that would halt nearly all attacks in the area and would be absurd (although just affecting like shunpo or something would be more reasonable).

Sen
Thank the Doos, approved.

Using spec point from Retribution! (Carried over from [V] to transfer)

Shikai:
一歩前進
Ippozenshin
(A Step Forward)

Release: "Strive, Ippozenshin!"

Form: Ippozenshin takes the form of a Qi Jian, measuring roughly thirty eight inches from end to end. A ray-skin handle accompanied by a pommel and guard of darkened steel house a blade of shimmering silver.

Manifestation: Ippozenshin takes the form of a weathered silver dragon, towering over Tsubaki comparatively. His temperament is often impatient, and absolutely loathes inaction.

Attack: Douryou (Momentum) - Since the beginning of recorded history, wars of men have often been reduced to wars of attrition, pitting foes against each other in grueling and increasingly hopeless struggles. While others may lose stride in combat, Tsubaki has learned to add to her striking speed. For an activated cost of 1% of her reiatsu per round, Tsubaki's weapon increases in momentum for each successful strike against an opponent or weapon. The increase is applied with a cumulative 1% boost to Zanjutsu and her overall striking speed, capping out at a 5% Zanjutsu boost and a 5% speed increase in strikes.

Attack: Undouryou Yusou (Momentum Transfer) - For 5% of her reiatsu, Tsubaki is able to release all gained inertia from Douryou from her blade for one strike, temporarily striking twice as fast as normal. Once executed, Tsubaki's gained bonuses to Zanjutsu and striking speed reset to 0%.

Ban Kai:
押し進める
Oshi Susume Ru
(Pressing Forward)

Form: Tsubaki's Ban Kai differs little from the initial release in terms of appearance, instead adding a twin Qi Jian to her empty hand.

Ability: Nagatsuduki (Permanence) - The nature of Tsubaki's Zanpakuto constantly spurs her forward, only stopping in the rarest of situations. Because of this, Nagatsuduki renders the woman immune to any effect that would slow or stop her forward motion.

Attack: Kyouka Douryou (Enhanced Momentum) - For an activated cost of 1% of her reiatsu per round, Tsubaki's weapon increases in momentum for each successful strike against an opponent or weapon. While similar to Douryou, Tsubaki's Ban Kai allows her to build the same momentum in both weapons simultaneously, rather than being restricted to the blade that strikes against an opponent. This ability carries the same bonus on increases to Zanjutsu and striking speed, both capping out at 10%

Attack: Tamerai (Falter) - For a cost of 5% of her reiatsu, Tsubaki sacrifices all her accumulated inertia to halt all other movement in a 5 meter radius. This attack stops only the movement of others and mundane strikes of a blade or body. Any shikai attacks or greater would continue as normal. Once executed, Tsubaki's bonuses to Zanjutsu and striking speed drop to 0%.

Attack: Tanrei (Grace) - For a cost of 10% of Tsubaki's reiatsu, the twin blades of Oshi Susume Ru absorb all her accumulated inertia into themselves, using it to execute a double horizontal cross-slash. Once executed, Tsubaki's accumulated bonuses to Zanjutsu and striking speed drop to 0%.

Resubmit: got rid of healing thing, added size restriction and and added new ability

Esistenza Metallica [Metallic Existence]

Form: Ewan’s skin slowly turns into an organic metal which is not only much stronger and more durable than its fleshy counterpart but retaining of the same flexibility. His eyes turn from their regular green into a dull grey and his hair seemingly also turns to metal, if only in colour.

Abilities:
Prima: Much like before, Ewan can still reform his body into another state at the cost of 100 reiatsu, but this time does not need to return to his original form in order to switch to a new one. As an alternative, by instead implanting 100 reiatsu into a foreign metal object, Ewan can change the shape and size of that object instead. This does not apply to the zanpakutou of shinigami and vizards though. The size of the altered metal cannot exceed it's original size.

Seconda: In order to fortify his own body, Ewan is able to integrate exterior metals into his own body. By inserting up to 2.5% reiatsu into a foreign metal object, one that is at most 5 times his own size, he can absorb part of it into himself where it can be used to build up other areas. Not being part of himself, it retains its own solidity but can still be manipulated using Prima.

Terza: An extension of Seconda, this ability allows Ewan to input another 100 reiatsu into a metal object being absorbed and fire them at an enemy. Their shapes can be manipulated using Prima until they are fully released from the object.

Once more unto the breach...
Now let's hope that I'm closer to a TA this time! >_>

True Awakening – Sabishii Arano

[Form][Shinsei Akumu] - “True Nightmare”

Having finally accepted the darkness within him, Arano becomes a vessel for it. His skin turns a bone white, with his pupils and iris switching colours within his eyes. His body is lost amongst bone as his transformation encompasses his entire body with strength akin to that of a zanpakuto, the two most prominent features being a wiry tail extending from his lower back and a pair of gauntlets coating his forearms and hands ending in claws. The process, though quick, causes a great deal of pain to Arano when activated, usually requiring an outside source to alleviate it.

[Ability][Kiwa no Hakkyou]“Edge of Insanity”

The once painful and slow process of creating weapons from Arano’s Awakening has begot a near mastery of it, allowing him to creating weapons from his own body, costing him 1 reiatsu per lb. These weapons have resilience akin to that of a zanpakuto, and the speed at which these bones are created is decided by his combat stat. The shape of these weapons is crude at best, but so long as Arano’s reiatsu can supplement it then a rough imitation of just about any weapon can be made. The wounds caused by removing these bones heal immediately, having no effect beyond the pain they cause.

[Attack][Kourin no Senmetsu]“Advent of Annihilation”

A wound is not merely surface damage, internal wounds are one of the most deadly sort. This fact is the basic reasoning for prompt first aid whenever injuring oneself. Kourin no Senmetsu was designed to spit in the face of such a thought. Whenever contact is made by an enemy with Shinsei Akumu or the weapons made by Kiwa no Hakkyou, an opportunity arises for this attack to be activated. By paying 1% of his reiatsu, Arano may infect the wound by injecting a small splinter-like thorn of bone into the place of contact. Once injected, the cost may be paid again to any active thorn, causing it to then grow and deal damage equivalent to the energy paid to make it grow.

Don’t Miss Me

Release Level:
First Stage

Form:
There are no visible changes to Victor.

Ability – Shoot Me Again, I’m Not Dead Yet:
As long as an opponent misses an attack on Victor, the opponent’s confidence will be forcefully whittled down by Victor’s reiatsu. In addition to that, Victor will be further infused with reiatsu, meaning he will move even quicker, making him react and move faster than before.

To activate this ability, Victor has to pay 5% reiatsu per turn. Whenever an opponent misses Victor entirely in an attack (meaning that he/she does not come into contact with Victor at all, this includes any object Victor is wielding), that opponent will receive a 5% reduction in damage for all his following attacks, stacking up to a maximum of 30%. Victor will also receive a 5% increase in Agility for every missed hit.

Already Approved Shikai
Gakuryoku (Scholarship)

Form: The constantly released form of Gakuryoku takes on a instrument of necessity for its master, a walking cane. Its 3ft tall appearing to be made of bamboo, if looked at closely hundreds of small runes decorate the cane, its durability is on par with a standard zanpakutou.

Ability: Kyokukan(Siphon)

The single ability of Hisao’s zanpakutou is constantly active. The old’s man reliance on kidou to defend himself has caused his weapon to be able to draw off energy from the very demon arts its master is so dependent upon. Whenever a kidou, cero, or gintou is used within Hisao’s sight 10% of the reiatsu cost of the spell is taken and stored within Gakuryoku. This energy can only be used for the sole purpose of casting more spells and does not take away from the actual damage of the kidou used. The total amount of stored reiatsu in Gakuryoku cannot exceed more than 50% of Hisao’s kidou stat and is always drained first when a spell is cast.

Shikai Vizard Attack: Namaru Kyokukan (Corrupted Siphon)

When Hisao's accumulated rage reaches 20% or more, his inner hollow effects the normal ability of his shikai augmenting it so that it now also responds to spent the spent rage of any being, including Hisao himself within Hisao's sight. 10% of the reiatsu value of the spent rage is added to Hisao pool with all the limitations of the normal ability. 1/2 of the rage absorbed from each attack is generated as emptiness.

Already Approved Bankai
Ban Kai: Seme no Kashikoi Gakusha (Persecution of the Wise Scholar)

Form: Upon announcing bankai, Gaku forcibly manifests himself as a small bamboo forest, hundreds of shoots appear over a 50m radius around Hisao’s original position each about 20ft tall. Each has a durability of a normal zanpakutou but are spread out that swinging weapons will have little trouble working normally unless the weapon itself is massive. In addition to the forest, a thick grey fog rolls low to the ground. Hisao's normal shikai however undergoes no new change during this time.

Ability: Endai Kyokukan (Grand Siphon)

The draining nature of Hisao’s shikai has been amplified to affect every being caught within Hisao’s forest. The shoots now drain 20% of the cost of any kidou, gintou, cero, or release abilities (kai or awakening). This energy does not take away from the actual damage of the attack used. The total amount of stored reiatsu in Gakusha cannot exceed Hisao’s kidou stat though Hisao now gains the ability to decide whether to spend his own reiatsu or the reiatsu stored in his kai.

Attack: Oshoku (To Corrupt)

Using the already stored reiatsu as a catalyst, Hisao is able to completely reduce an attack into pure reiatsu for his pool. In order to break down the attack, there must be more reiatsu present in Hisao’s pool than the attack in question costs and the attack must be affected by Endai Kyokukan. This attack can be used a maximum of 5 times.

Attack: Oitsuku (To Overtake)

Using the principle of Gakuryoku’s siphoning, Hisao can actually over run an opponent’s attack and send it back at them. To accomplish this Hisao must first sacrifice reiatsu equal to the attack from his pool and then pay the same cost from his own reiatsu. Hisao’s reiatsu then floods into the attack draining it of color and sending it back at its user. Damage dealt by this attack is equal to what it would have originally been for better or worse.

Attack: Oomawari (To Detour)

Gakusha’s final attack works as a sort of reverse siphon. Hisao is able to draw out any amount of reiatsu from his pool and attach it to a target. During this time the surround fog crowds on top of the enemy appearing as though Gaku himself is hanging from around their necks. This spectral body allows all attacks which are affected by Endai Kyokukan used by Hisao’s allies to hone in on the target following them for the duration of the attack. This spirit will disperse once Hisao has casted, the target has been hit by a greater, or the target has used an equal amount than what was used to place this on the target.

Bankai Vizard Attack: Namaru Endai Kyokukan (Corrupted Grand Siphon)

When Hisao's accumulated rage reaches 20% or more, his inner hollow affects the normal ability of his bankai augmenting it so that it now also responds to the spent rage of any being, including Hisao himself within Hisao's bankai forest. 20% of the reiatsu value of the spent rage is added to Hisao pool with all the limitations of the normal ability. 1/2 of the rage absorbed from each attack is generated as emptiness.

First Stage for Oonishi Daisuke

[Bouryoku-san]暴力さん
(Mr. Mayhem)

Form:

There is no visible difference in Daisuke’s appearance, inwardly or outwardly.

[ Oresama hade ni shiteyaru ze!! ]- 俺様派手にしてやるぜ!!
(Lemme Do You In With Some Pizzazz!!)

Daisuke is able to surround his hands with a thin film of reiatsu. With this, any object or person he punches will be reduced in weight for a cost of 250 reiatsu. For the first punch, the victim’s weight is ¾ of what it really is. For each successive hit, the victim "loses” another fourth of their weight, capping out at ¼, or three successive punches. Every punch after this has no effect whatsoever to the victim’s weight.

[ Oresama, 'level up' da!! ] - 俺様、レベルアップだ!!
(I’ve Leveled Up!!)

Daisuke’s combat stat gains a +10% boost while the first stage is activated.

Shikai release for Li Go-yun.

Sadamune
The initial release of Sadamune is a pair of short swords that have a mix of wakizashi and western-style combat-knife elements. They have a slight curve, as well as catch points along the edges. Though designed with wakizashi elements that make them look single-edged, they have edges along four-fifths of the spines. The black, rubber-like grips are plain and there are no traditional guards, only dull spurs to keep holding hands from slipping forward onto the edges. The blades vibrate quickly, an effect which visibly blurs the blades and causes them to emit a steady hum. [ Reference ]

Vibration’ – [Ability]
The vibrating blades, due to the excess heat generated by increased motion and the raw kinetic energy thrown by the vibrations, cause more damage than still blades. The damage increase effects a 10% boost to Li Go-yun’s offensive zanjutsu stat.

Vibration: Snarl’ – [Attack]
At a cost of 3% of his reiatsu, Li Go-yun can drastically increase the vibration strength of the blades. The increase in vibration, which only lasts for a few seconds, can transfer into any physical barrier it strikes. One effect the vibration transference may cause is a difficulty for opponents to keep a good hold of their weapon.

Sekiryoku Houshiki Xiezhi ~ Repulsion System Xiezhi ~

Description: Upon releasing bankai an enormous oak tree materializes behind Haresuno. The tree is in full bloom and as time progresses the leaves turn and then begin to fall, transitioning from summer to winter. When the final leaf falls, Haresuno has reached the limit of his bankai.

The tree itself fifty feet in height with massive roots and branches.

The bronze staff of Haresuno's shikai, 6'8" in length, separates into five equal pieces which slowly revolve around Haresuno. Within a five foot radius, Haresuno is able to control these rods at will, individually or connected together.

Ability - Koushou Gekitai: No longer is Gekitai bound to a single direction at a time. At a cost of 1% reiatsu per rod per round, Haresuno imbues the weapons with a charge, able to create a repulsing or attracting force with any number of the rods. Haresuno and Sekiryoku Houshiki Xiezhi are immune to similar effects such as the Shou and Daishou.

Attack – Koushou Mai no Fune: At will, Haresuno can coat the rods in his glowing white reiatsu, giving them a bladed edge. By spending an extra 2% reiatsu, Haresuno can project a gleaming white blade out up to twice the length of the rods in-hand.

Attack - Bullseye: Using the magnetic properties of at least two rods, Haresuno may bind them around his opponent, surrounding the target with an irresistible attractive force. All kidou and projectile attacks within thirty feet are drawn straight to the affected individual for the duration of the next round.

Attack - Railgun: At the cost of 10% of his reiatsu, Haresuno uses his five rods to make a rail gun. Four rods act as the barrel, revolving before Haresuno in a wide spiral formation. As energy builds in the barrel the rods revolve closer and faster together. The fifth rod acts as a hammer and is pulled back automatically when the charge is high enough. In order to fire Haresuno must punch the hammer, launching the large amount of energy.

It takes a full round to charge and fire the highly concentrated beam.

Second try. The blood bullsh*t is officially thrown in the dump. Team Edward can suck it.

Shikai: Zansatsu (Massacre) – "Scream, Zansatsu.” - 惨殺

All it requires is but a name, and as Zansatsu is materialized in full shape and form, its being rises up from the murky waters of Kyuketsu’s inner world and takes the shape of a vast angel-like silhouette with horns that stand monstrously tall, reaching even the satellites that hang high above the realm. The shadow itself is pitch-black, and like the physical appearance of the sword, a deep purple outline surrounds the silhouette’s entirety. Zansatsu talks in a deep, almost demandingly authoritative tone of voice.

Attack: Hakudou Tenshi (Heartless Angel) - 薄情天使

At the cost of 500 reiatsu, Kyuketsu can endow his blade with a curse, first needing to cut the victim with his zanpakutou to let the sword get a feel for the opponent’s spiritual pressure. Each subsequent wound after that (caused by the sword, of course), the victim’s spiritual composition is jammed by Zansatsu, thus causing additional pain of greater extremes than that caused by just a normal sword-based injury alone.

Attack: Sesshou (Destruction of Life) -判決

Imbuing his blade with a charge of pure and concentrated reiatsu, Kyuketsu can fire a streak of energy towards opponents causing damage equivalent to the cost of 5% of his current reiatsu. Growing a meter every 1k Connection achieved, it maxes its distance at 15 meters. The width of the blast constantly remains at a maximum of 5 feet, retaining its condensed form to do the most damage to the victim. It can either be thrown as a plain beam of energy or that of a crescent-shaped projectile.

Attack: Kagyou Hakudou Tenshi (Descending Heartless Angel) - 下行薄情天使

Like in his shikai, this move has the ability to jam an opponent’s spiritual composition once the blade lands an injury on their body. Simultaneously, it also causes a severe increase in blood loss which is equivalent to the extremely amplified increase in pain. This move now costs double the first needed reiatsu amount. Again, Kyuketsu must first land a cut on the target for the proceeding attacks to have any effects.

Attack: Saigo Sesshou (Final Destruction of Life) - 最後殺生

Imbuing his blade with a charge of pure and concentrated reiatsu, Kyuketsu can fire a streak of condensed spirit energy towards opponents causing damage depending on how much reiatsu he uses (the amount now ranging from 15% to 25%).

Attack: Murasakiiro Yuurei (Violet Ghost) - 紫色幽霊

Kyuketsu can slash a number of strokes for the cost of 1,000 reiatsu per turn, leaving purple streaks of his cuts’ trails floating in the space where they where originally swung. Once any foreign object comes in contact with one of the streaks, it activates and shatters, causing a cut with the same amount of damage used by Kyuketsu to slash his blade (based entirely on the Zanjutsu stat) along with the appropriate momentum to accompany the slash. In layman’s terms, if you touch the streaks, it was as if Kyuketsu himself had just slashed you at that particular part of your body. Each streak only lasts 3 turns, growing weaker in strength after every turn before eventually disappearing. At 10,000 Connection, he is only able to generate one of the phantom strokes. They grow in number after each thousand surpassed, capping at ten when reached at 20,000 Connection.

Since the damage is practically a normal swing from Kyuketsu’s sword suspended in space, it will not be able to cut or break substances the shinigami cannot cut on his own (i.e. certain zanpakutous, certain armors, and other stronger fortified objects). Although if he has already managed to activate the Hakudou Tenshi skill before using Murasakiiro Yuurei, he can choose to add 2,000 reiatsu to the cost to allow its effects on the manifested streaks as well.

Kyuketsu must wait a whole turn before using the move once again.

Shikai: Rihi (Judgement)

Release Command: "Sprint, Rihi!”

Appearance: By using the release command while resheathing the sealed zanpakuto, Tsuneo initiates activation. Upon activation, Rihi undergoes a slight transformation. The entire blade, hilt included, takes on a brilliant white hue that seems to almost glow, even in the absence of an exterior source of light. The blade becomes longer and thinner, essentially becoming lighter and easier to maneuver. The hilt is also elongated, allowing for plenty of room for Tsuneo to place his hands. The tsuba disappears, thus streamlining the blade even further.

Manifestation: Rihi’s manifests himself as an unnaturally thin being. Dressed in tight fitting, silver white metal armor, Rihi is a being built for speed. The manifestation’s face is obscured by a large visor that could be mistaken for a hollow mask were it not for the silver tint of the material. Rihi’s mouth peeks out from beneath the visor. A slit that can expand into a gaping maw depending on the being’s emotional state, it doesn’t really resemble a human’s mouth. Rihi gives the impression of lightness, as if he would float away if there was a breeze.

Ability: Once Rihi is activated, by paying 5% of his own reiatsu per turn, Tsuneo can cut the enemy’s hohou by 10%. The amount Tsuneo can cut from his enemy’s hohou is increased by one percent for every 2000 connection (caps out at 15%).

Attack: "Shouri no Hikari”
This attack is activated with a cost of 500 reiatsu. Rihi glows brighter and brighter until the entire battle field is engulfed in blinding light. When the light subsides, the opponent’s perception is skewed and Tsuneo is invisible to his opponent. After half of a second, the effect ends and Tsuneo is once again visible to his opponent.

True Awakening for Rafa Daisetsu

[ ლ(Θ益Θლ) ]

Rafa's tried, true, and gunmetal-hued weapon arm with a few new modifications. The gun is manifested the same way, engulfing his right arm from finger to shoulder with a sturdy composite alloy comprised of both Earthen metals and defensively reinforced with Rafa's spirit pressure, and 'joints' that give Rafa full motion of his arm. The size of the gun appendage as it extends off his forearm borders on ridiculous, but Rafa suffers no lost agility throwing it around like the Sundance Kid.

Form: The main distinction is that the barrel of the gun no longer resembles its railgun predecessor. Instead, two gatling gun chambers further increase the comical length of the weapon. These guns are capable of firing reiatsu bullets valued at 1 to 200 rei. As a passive bonus from lugging around the gun of his first stage forever however, the true arm modification doesn't even need to be manifested, as Rafa can just as well shoot energy blasts from his fingers. He likes the intimidation aspect though - If people get uneasy staring down the barrel of a .45, imagine what this would do to them.

[ ლ(゚Д゚ლ) ! ]

In the eternal words of one Billy Mays: 'But that's not all!' Everything is a game to Rafa, even combat - literally. When he releases, Rafa makes like an old-school Arcade shooter and... blows stuff up. Armed like the Intergalactic Vic Viper sans that disgusting, dehydrated space ice cream, Rafa's new and improved arm-gun gives him access to a mini-armory of flexible weaponry - granted he can earn them. With every hit of his Gatling gun base, Rafa gets the ability to unlock a new weapon to add to his artillery. These are added onto the base gun-arm and are fired from different peripherals, and thusly are fully capable of being fired simultaneously.

• Napalm Flamethrower - Chemical warfare, GET! For a per turn cost of 5% of Rafa's rei he can shoot a burst of flames with a nasty napalm effect. If hit, an enemy is further damaged by 2% of Rafa's reiatsu in chemical burns for the next three turns.

• Hyper Bazooka - Doom cone, GET! This bad boy shoots out a conical blast worth 10% of Rafa's rei. Distance = 1 meter for every 3k reiatsu, Width = 1 meter for every 5k reiatsu.

• Beam Magnum - Death ray, GET! A long-range, barrier-penetrating laser ammo that is very similar to the bazooka blast, but in a concentrated fashion - the laser does the same amount of damage wherever it is touched. Costs 10% reiatsu, and length = 1 meter for every 1k rei.

[ ლ(ᴖ͡εᴖ͡ლ) ! ]

It not a true shoot 'em up if there aren't a buttload of power-ups to be had, especially outside the artillery spectrum. As a reward for being the absolute best at this game, Rafa has the ability to manifest a companion fighter that circle around him and replicate his every shot. Each 'Wingman', as they are commonly known on the shoot 'em circuit, is about a foot in size, and take on the appearance of a tiny, Gundam-esque Rafa, complete with a mini version of their own gun arm.

A Mecha-Rafa is unlocked whenever Rafa can hit an enemy with each of his guns, after which another one can be brought forth under the same circumstances, up to three. In addition, Mecha-Rafa's can be moved freely through a connection shared only by a boy and his robots, and also have combat inhibitors wired into their makeups so Rafa can choose how strong they attack or if they attack at all.

Any vizards in kai limbo, you should just post again when you’re ready for a new review and keep in mind the new rage-emptiness rule.

Beaks
The zan boost is the speed buff. You can do a bigger buff but attack speed and zan boost are the same thing, so don’t write in some speed buff in addition.

Tom
Approved w/ Change
Pretend that the person reading this release hasn’t read your first stage, as you’ll be getting rid of that and they probably won’t go back to read it. So like, clarify the first ability into saying that he can change the size and shape of certain things etc.

Seraph
Approved w/ Change
Provided the effect lapses when the battle ends, you’re good to go.

Nero
It needs to be clear what happens if you stop paying your cost. Does the damage reduction lapse immediately? If you start doing it again do you pick up where you left off accumulating more or does it start over? Also the agility buff needs a cap, probably 10% as this basically has 2 effects.

Shad
Approved

Et
You can’t just have a buff for no reason, so that’s a no on the buff. The weight reduction should really only be something that applies to you, as in like, the weight of the person/thing doesn’t actually reduce, just how you feel their weight, b/c otherwise they could jump around like crazy jackrabbits and who knows what would happen to like a skyscraper.

Dildo
A barrier ability thing you hit gets damaged, not just moved right? Specify that and then Dildo and his magical vibrations can commence breaking through barriers. Ouch, you know that’s gotta hurt if it’s their first time.

Hare
Attack 1-You don’t need to pay anything to manifest blades from the rod.
Attack 2-There needs to be a cost for your homing device thing. Also clarify how the rod ends up bound to the guy (do you have to put it there, does it float over, etc)
Attack 3-What exactly is firing out of the railgun? Magic bullets? It sounds like lasers right now, and railguns don’t shoot laserbeams.

Lucy
By the way, manifestations often materialize in the real world around bankai, so you need to make sure that your manifestation is like, a reasonable size.
Shikai
2nd 5% max reiatsu, not current, because that would make the cost reduce as you went on.
Bankai
1st state the cost, don’t send me looking back at the shikai to figure it out. Also how much more blood is coming out? Also wait I thought you nixed the blood thing.
2nd *1 foot not feet

Test
Ability- does the debuff to hohou occur automatically or when you actually hit someone? Also specify that the 10% decrease is 10% of some stat of yours to their hohou, not just 10% of their hohou.
Attack- does this autohit or would blinking stop it from happening? Also it sounds like it takes forever to activate when it could just be like camera flash. And maybe specify what all this effects for the other person. Like does it just make you invisible and that’s it? Or does it do more?

Rob
How big is this shield business exactly? Specify.
Ability 1- it’s not a sword anymore, right? Also rewrite the last two sentences as one.
Ability 2- the spike just sounds like part of the form and doesn’t need a cost. Also what is it doing? If it’s just shooting out it doesn’t need a cost either. But is it like attached or a projectile or what?
Vizard abil- you’re spending half as much as you’re getting here, since rage is just half reiatsu, so either double the cost or halve the effect. And how does the shield work? Is it an aura or something?

Third time's the charm <3

Shikai: Zansatsu (Massacre) – “Scream, Zansatsu.” - 惨殺

Standing 10 feet tall, the shadow itself is pitch-black, and like the physical appearance of the sword, a deep purple outline surrounds the silhouette’s entirety. Like Kyuketsu, Zansatsu prefers to keep words to a minimum unless otherwise needed to. Although when it does indeed speak, the winged creature talks in a deep, almost demandingly authoritative tone of voice.

Like in his shikai, this move has the ability to jam an opponent’s spiritual composition once the blade lands an injury on their body. Though unlike its predecessor, the amount of pain caused by this malevolent attack is amplified to more monstrous degrees, surpassing that of its shikai’s effects. Again, Kyuketsu must first land a cut on the target for the proceeding attacks to have any effects. Torture at its absolute finest, this move requires 1,000 reiatsu to be activated.

Kyuketsu must wait a whole turn before using the move once again.

Here we go. Let's give it another try.

Shikai: Rihi (Judgement)

Release Command: “Run, Rihi!”

Ability: Once Rihi is activated, by paying 3% of his reiatsu per opponent, Tsuneo can cut the enemy’s zanjutsu or top combat stat by 10% of his own reiatsu. The effect upon Tsuneo is cumulative, compounding upon itself each turn Rihi’s ability is in effect. This ability is effective within a thirty foot radius of the zanpakuto. With every 2000 points added to his connection, Tsuneo is able to target another adversary within the aforementioned radius. Once an opponent steps outside of the radius, the effects are nullified until the opponent steps back in, in which case, Tsuneo must once again pay 3% of his reiatsu

Attack: “Shouri”
At a cost of 3% reiatsu, Tsuneo unleashes Rihi on his opponent. The cutting edge of Rihi glow a bright white. By slashing the blade towards his opponent, the zanpakuto releases a dull, spinning wave of concentrated reiatsu towards the opponent. By dragging his zanpakuto in one direction or the other, he can manipulate the general direction in which the wave is headed as if the reiatsu is tied to the end of Rihi like a kite. The attack can debuff the opponent's hohou stat by 10% of Tsuneo's max reiatsu per successful strike, capping at two applications. Once it makes contact or the round ends, the concentrated reiatsu dissipates. For every additional 2000 points of connection, Tsuneo can expand the reiatsu's concentration by one round.

Haresuno can also project a gleaming white blade out up to twice the length of the rods in-hand.

Attack - Bullseye: Using the magnetic properties of at least two rods, Haresuno may assign an opposite polarity to his enemy, causing them to be attracted and hover around his opponent at the cost of 5% Haresuno's reiatsu. Once done, the surrounding target cannot shake the rods. This causes all kidou and projectile attacks within thirty feet to be drawn straight to the affected individual for the duration of the next round.

Attack - Railgun: At the cost of 10% of his reiatsu, Haresuno uses his five rods to make a rail gun. Four rods act as the barrel, revolving before Haresuno in a wide spiral formation. As kidou energy builds in the barrel the rods revolve closer and faster together. Once the energy is charged, Haresuno punches forward, launching the super-charged fifth rod at his enemy.

It takes a full round to charge and fire the highly concentrated beam.

The increase is applied with a cumulative 2% boost to Zanjutsu, capping out at a 10% Zanjutsu boost.

Attack: Undouryou Yusou (Momentum Transfer) - For 5% of her reiatsu, Tsubaki is able to release all gained inertia from Douryou from her blade for one strike, executed with an additional 20% bonus to her Zanjutsu for the attack. Once executed, Tsubaki's gained bonus to Zanjutsu resets to 0%.

Ban Kai:

Attack: Kyouka Douryou (Enhanced Momentum) - For an activated cost of 2% of her reiatsu per round, Tsubaki's weapon increases in momentum for each successful strike against an opponent or weapon. While similar to Douryou, Tsubaki's Ban Kai allows her to build the same momentum in both weapons simultaneously, rather than being restricted to the blade that strikes against an opponent. For each round it is active Kyouka Douryou increases her momentum by 5% This ability carries the same bonus on increases to Zanjutsu capping out at 30%

Attack: Tamerai (Falter) - For a cost of 5% of her reiatsu, Tsubaki sacrifices all her accumulated inertia to halt all other movement in a 5 meter radius. The accumulated inertia freezes the attacks of opponents, as well as any Shunpo or Kidou skills. This is expressed as the reiatsu spent by Tsubaki both in Tamerai and Kyouka Douryou weighed against the reiatsu spent by the opponents, reducing or completely halting the opponents' actions. Once executed, Tsubaki's bonus to Zanjutsu drops to 0%.

Attack: Tanrei (Grace) - For a cost of 10% of Tsubaki's reiatsu, the twin blades of Oshi Susume Ru absorb all her accumulated inertia into themselves, using it to execute a double horizontal cross-slash that carries a 60% bonus to Zanjutsu for the round it is used. Once executed, Tsubaki's accumulated bonus to Zanjutsu drops to 0%.
