Firstly, I'm glad I'm not the only one who uses the F-bomb in my writing!
With that aside, watching the banter between Keydis and Geppa was the driving point of this chapter and using the competition as a way for the two smiths to better themselves was a good way to break up the crafting details. I really struggle to make crafting chapters interesting, so I might come back here if I want some pointers.
I especially liked the addition of bigatium and materials that were not necessary in the crafting but emphasised the level that the weapon was being crafted at and the sheer amount of expense going into it. The description of the weights and feel of the metals really drew me into it. It seemed like a good way to close Keydis' part in the PMs.
