Wow. Where to start?
The emotional contents of this collab are stellar. Phenomenal. As someone with base knowledge of these characters from the 2019 PMs and small bits I've skimmed here and there, this collab alone gave me vast insight into both of them. I can't find any technical parts to pick at here, and would rather focus on the contents.
To preface, I can't speak completely to the context of some of this conversation. I know the basics about what Deni did, but nothing of Ignis. Even still, reading this made my heart hurt with the sheer weight of the conversation and the amazing descriptors that painted the perfect image of what the two had already been through, and what they'd be willing to go through for one another. I don't know exactly what the 'flames' are, but understand through context clues that some plane-hopping has been going on for everyone involved, and that Ignis has limited time until some changes get made, and Deni's readiness to immediately hop up and try to save her, damn the costs, makes perfect sense, especially after I read the collab with Vita beforehand.
Even after the lies and secrets, at the end of the chapter, they can just hold each other and hope.
