Although this comes really late in the story, I appreciate getting this humanizing moment with the Seven Devils. In a way, it's more poetic this way, like sating some of the rage inside her is what allowed these memories of a brighter time slip in. Very nicely done both in tone and imagery.
This doesn't feel like the conclusion of Micali's story at all, though, but maybe just the end of another chapter before another begins. It's a solid cap to the ordeals Micali has been going through after the Anguis Trigon events. Looking forward to seeing more and finding out where this new resolve will take Micali.
