So I realize that most everyone is quite busy, but if anyone is willing to go watch my FIRST amv, I would be really grateful. I didn't go flashy with a lot of effects and stuff. For getting my feet wet, I wanted to do my best for accurately putting scenes that matched the mood and timing. I thought I did well, but I'm biased. So any feedback you could post through ratings and comments on the Youtube page itself, I would be eternally grateful and hopefully from those comments I can maybe see what I could do different, or do again in my next one. Good job, seriously. You lined things up very nicely. It seemed to go with both the beet and feel the vast majority of the time. I don't usually like amv's or godsmack at all but it was nicely done. The ending was especially nice. The only advice I have really is to try to get raws (without subtitles) because most of the time the subtitles were kinda distracting and random.
Thanks! I would love to find raw's but it's a bit harder than I expected. I have a slight taste in subtitles, IF they match the scene or lyrics of the song, but that's even more of a stretch to grab with syncing things together, but seriously, thank you for your feedback.
FYI, my second AMV was a stretch but I wanted to try something different, so it's story driven by the subtitles in it, haha. So fair warning if you ever take a peek. And you're right. That song is so kick ass!
I'm also thinking I need to go and invest in an external hardrive, perhaps even a terrabyte, because I download the subs weekly to watch them, and throwing that AND the raws on one hardrive, PLUS the converted bittorrent video file format, ewww. For the love of God, I need more space!
