Adele entered the familiar jungle that was the rain forest biodome. The environment seemed to have recovered amazingly quickly from her fight against Annika. There was barely any sign of the fires she and the dragon had caused, though parts of the canopy did look a little thin. Insects buzzed, birds chirped, and somewhere, hidden in the foliage, monkeys made odd noises. Deeply inhaling the muggy air of the tropical forest, the nekogami reminisced a bit. While she didn't expect to see any dragons this fight, the Mystic hoped to have just as much fun even without giant fire breathing lizards or huge wasps.
The Tenth Seat was dressed in a sleeveless olive green shirt with darker green accents made from breathable material that would supposedly keep her cool and dry. Her legs were covered by fitted, dark green bike shorts made of similar material. On her left hip hung her zanpakuto, Crescendo. Adele was ready to fight. Although she was eager to spar, the feline shinigami was also eager to see how strong Ren was and if Hikaru had grown any. Would Hikaru and Ren work together to defeat her or would they stumble over each other, handing the nekogami an easy victory?
The catlike Mystic was about to find out. "Good to see you both!" She greeted them energetically, a relaxed smile on her lips. An odd glint, however, was present in her grey eyes.
In a nice, safe, air conditioned location, Tia, Zechariah, and Midnight watched the combatants on a screen. "Ooh, this is so exciting!" The ravenette of the group squirmed with anticipation. She'd get to see her Onee-chan in battle and watch Hika-teme get beat at the same time! How exciting.
"Nee-chan got strong enough to take on two opponents at once this quickly?" The afrosoul asked, green eyes watching the monitor with a hint of concern.
"Don't doubt Nee-chan, you worry wart! Ada-nee can do anything!" Tia pumped her fist in the air. The little fire cracker continued, "She's so strong, couldn't you feel it? When she made that weird aura when we were starting to bug her when we were at the tea house it was stronger than it ever was before she was a shinigami. Now we get to see her in action!"
"I don't doubt her, Tia," Zechariah stuck out his tongue. "Besides, we don't know how strong Ren-san is."
"Nonsense! Onee-chan is the strongest out of all three of them!" The pale girl protested, fire shining in her brown eyes.
"Maybe you should be in the Blitzkrieg Strike Unit," the civilian boy joked, a smug little smile making its way across his lips. "You're certainly fiery enough. You'd go 'boom' and win the battle."
"Oi! Oi!" Tia smacked her brother, "Don't make fun of me!"
"Silence!" Midnight snapped in Cat, glaring at his companion's litter-mates. "You're too noisy."
"Eh?" The ravenette tilted her head.
"He means you're a loudmouth, little, firecracker," Zechariah snickered. More bickering ensued. Midnight put his paws over his ears and groaned. Troublesome.
