[2nd/8th] Week ---: Challenge Match: Hikaru Miyazaki vs Nenshou Mouko

With a low clack, Mouko toggled the safety on her rifle once. Holstering her pistol, she looked disdainfully down at the shinigami. "Afraid not, kid. Sorry, but the medics will patch you back together."

Then she swung the rifle towards his prone form, the Revenant spitting a round of hellfire and explosive destruction at Hikaru from point-blank range.

really?
wow you guys r really trying to disfigure the poor guy huh?

Hikaru saw the rifle level at his face and smirked, "shooting to kill huh? Whatever happened to self-control?" The shingami rolled to the side away from the gun, just as the fiery hell his opponent released blew a small crater in the ground sending more fragment flying. perfect more metal he groaned as yet another of the deadly metal bits found their way into his arms.

The warrior shakily rose to his feet, and picked up his sword which had landed by his feet. "Wanna try that again?" He retorted, "I won't fall so easily, Mouko." The boys face set a grim expression, he slowly began another kidou.

"Black dog of Rodanni, unwind as you tear out your own throat, bakudou number nine Gekki!" The bakudou again released itself, and reached out to bind the Cerberus agent.

Mouko heard the words. With a dark look, she dropped her rifle - it'd only slow her down - and reacted. Hikaru's stance, sloppy and wounded, had the words slip out from his lips messily.

The instant she began to move, his words rose to a feverish state. "Bakudou Number Ni-!"

Too late, the Major's energy rose in a furious crescendo - the terrifying realization of a human's full strength - and a solid left hook shot into the injured Spellblade's stomach. With a hoarse wheeze, the energy was lost. Hikaru's form tumbled backwards, gasping for air briefly as adrenaline faded from him.

The ache of Mouko's wounds returned to her, but remained a distant throb in her mind, fueling the indignant fury that continued to drive her forward. She stalked towards the man slowly, withdrawing her Grave-keepeR before racking the slide menacingly. She had ejected a live round, but the man didn't need to know that.

Instead, she pointed the muzzle at his head, and spoke a single word. "Yield."

Sorry Minja, but trying to get a spell off at point-blank, when Mouko's faster and is in Overdrive? Bad move. Mouko knows what a Kidou spell is, her best friend amongst the Shinigami is the Lieutenant of the Arcanists. She wasn't familiar with Geki, but knew that letting Hikaru get a spell off would be a bad plan.

She easily had the time to close what little distance there was, and sucker punch him. Nothing serious, she doesn't have access to Internalize after all, but Hikaru should definitely be feeling shrapnel wounds more than he has been (If you've never had a puncture wound of any kind before? I can tell you they're not fun).

I has win condition
nothing super serious, but if Hikaru does manage to pull through and win this, I'd like Choko admitted into Cerberus.(To fix his plot line.)

Well the girls definitely, got a hell of a left hook. Hikaru thought, wheezing and gasping for air. He looked up and saw the girl advancing toward him slowly, Huh, she really doesn't like me. The young man admonished, as the human walked towards him with seemingly murderous intent. He could still numbly feel the shrapnel pieces in his flesh, and could tell he would be going nowhere fast. So analyzed her instead, and noticed her snap something into the smaller gun she was carrying.

"Yield." She commanded, and with such a presumable air of authority, the warrior almost obeyed. But the young man didn't take orders well, especially not from someone he didn't know.

She pointed the gun at his face again, a frown etched into her own. What is it with this girl and blowing my face off? he wondered. Then pushing those thoughts from his mind, the warrior decided he would go down fighting, and very quietly he murmured the words, "Slice open the gaps to Heaven's gateway, draw the hidden blade. Hadou number nine," then he nodded at her in seeming defeat, but laying face down, he spoke softly once more. "Kamaitachi."

Feeling the wind kick and rise up again, quickly hardening into blades, the young sword-mage pressed himself to the ground and dragged himself, and his sword slowly back into the fog.

You're gonna have to knock him out first, if you wanna finish this.

With a small "Tch!", Mouko rolled to the side, one of the blades nicking her in the ribs. Hissing lightly in pain, she quickly refocused - closing distance immediately. The man couldn't get far - blood had begun to seep through the hasty bandages he wound about himself. The shrapnel that had dug into his arms was jostled with every movement, a dire burn in his arms that caused him to twitch with pain.

He rolled onto his back, perhaps expecting her to get him to yield again. Instead, she shot him in the stomach and stood there.

That's kinda like knocking him out, right?

Epic Fail
Well I guess he'll be in the 4th barracks for a while huh? And yes it is knocking him out. If your version of knocking someone out is to blow out their internal organs as well, then sure, you knocked him out.

Pain exploded through the sword mage's body, it felt as if a firecracker had flown through his stomach. Dammit, that's the second time I've been shot... Twice today...guess I'll be in those barracks for a while. The warrior mused bitterly, then he smiled. Maybe I can still achieve what I came for.

Hikaru groaned at the pain he was experiencing, with every movement even though he was rising slowly. "Argh..." He pushed past it and rose to his feet, using his sword as an old man uses a cane for support. The young man slowly stumbled forward, towards the stunned Advent. "Oh don't look surprised, I have no intention of attacking again. I haven't got the strength for it, I just need to ask something of you, a favor perhaps..."

He coughed up a dark liquid and spoke. "There is a girl down on earth who carries a long blade on her back, who looks like she's talking to it all the time. Find the girl and please give her a place to stay." He coughed again, "If she asks you who you are, tell her that the clueless detective sent you..." After this statement, Hikaru stumbled over one of the pieces of shrapnels, lost his balance and fell over onto his back again. He then lay still, ragged breaths made his body shudder with effort.

His request
You don't have to honer his request if you don't want to. Just thought it might flow well.

With a drawn-out sigh, Mouko stood briefly over the man's body. Some measure of remorse passed through her, but a majority of her feelings had been washed away with confusion. This man had challenged her to... help a human friend of his?

Why disguise it then? She muttered under her breath. "You didn't have to challenge me to a fight to ask for a favor, idiot."

Mouko remained standing there briefly, then turned on her heel. Scratching at the limiter on her arm, she focused on committing the description to memory.
