Herr Tyr, Meister Lambone and FRAU BUNZ - Let it commence!
It was the little things in life that made each day special. A fast car without a complicated alarm and a brand new watch hiding in the glove compartment weren't little, but they did the trick nonetheless. For every red light, Chimatsuri Kenma sped past the flashing traffic cameras. In a sea of immovable traffic he zigzagged through the lanes to avoid using his brake pedal as much as possible. Staying still did him no good - it risked the police actually getting around to pursuing him.
Something rare as Kenma's generosity seemed to manifest in the distance. Only a few times before had he felt that sort of presence. Every fiber of his being down to his bones demanded that he turn around, but he had turned onto a one-way street with no cross-streets. Worse still, there was too much traffic for him to simply reverse until he could get away. By the time the terrible monstrosity whose name he had never bothered to learn became visible he realized it was too late.
"Ahh, shit," he muttered.
Coming to a skidding stop, the young man stepped out of his car. Learning directions had become lost to him without the aide of a GPS. Not only had he come to a dead-end of a one-way street, he was facing a large park that surely housed the source of the monstrous presence he'd felt. With a groan, he rubbed his forehead with the palm of his hand. Not even he could believe he was about to purposely engage another demon.
