Why am I doing this, at a very unpropitious time? the lady asked herself as her careful steps brought her towards... the fight location? Honestly, she had no idea why she had to be sent to Earth for this ordeal, but to fight on this vast expanse of greenery? Couldn't they do it somewhere on Rukongai? She was fairly certain that such a land would have existed somewhere along the home of the spirits. Lush greenery, clear cerulean skies with an occasional fluff of clouds passing by, warm winds and a gentle weather-- the only obstruction to the beauty of it was her lack of appreciation for the atmosphere and the circumstance. Oddly, the air felt dense on her skin, and she didn't particularly like it, inasmuch as she wanted to.

"Hello?" the petite lady called out with a small voice, her long-sleeved ivory kosode slightly fluttering in the breeze. Her own hakama loosely reached down to her ankles, secured with a thick, light salmon obi and a black ribbon at its very center. The healer only brought her humble asauchi with her, knowing full well of her purpose in here. Why is she fighting against a strong one though?

There was silence, nothing but silence, nothing but the whispers of the wind.

2: [Addle] 100 - Base Technique Costs Doubled

11. Biodome - Neutral

Surprisingly constructed on a relatively normal island in the Pacific, this arena, simply put, has nothing special. The weather is pleasant, the skies appearing to be perpetually clear. The landscape is an expansive field, with several deciduous trees dotting the landscape in patches. The winds are steady and the occasional cirrus cloud appears in the sky.

Nothing but the whispers of the wind until finally an audible groan could be heard. For a moment, the prolonged silence continued, if not for how quiet the woman's voice was and partially because he wanted to see how long she would stand there before noticing that he was in fact directly to the right of her, well hidden behind one of the trees that dotted the landscape. Before long though, not even he could stand this much longer and remain rooted to his current spot. As he finally decided to step forward, the healer caught a glimpse of an auburn-eyed shinigami.

"Heyo," he finally replied.

She would notice that his hair was cropped shorter than what he was accustomed to, no longer long and messy but rather spiked-up and still as vibrantly pink as ever. Across the bridge of his nose, he still held traces of the nasty scar received from the last time that he was seriously engaged in combat. Before she could completely see his features however, he was gone the next second before finally he flashed before the healer, appearing a few yards away from her.

This time as steel grey eyes locked onto auburn, both of their respective features became as clear as day. Compared to how elegantly dressed the woman was, his attire consisted of a simple sleeveless shihakushou. His zanpakutou was still within its scabbard, blood-red in colour and what looked to be your standard katana, although there seemed to be a foreboding aura already radiating from it.

Yet despite that, despite all of the blatantly obvious signs indicating that the both of them knew their purpose, knew why they had gathered here, the pink-haired soul reaper's expression said otherwise.

"Sugoi," he said, his cheshire grin surfacing. "I knew by coming here, there would be a change of scenery, but damn, I sure as hell didn't expect this."

"Su... goi?" The Russian lady mumbled, her head tilting ever so slightly to the side, confused by the sheer incognizance of the word. What does that even mean?

The breeze simply rushed past her long, strawberry blonde tresses, tied up in a tight ponytail so as not to interfere with her fight. "I would say the same for the place too, sir," she spoke with a slight bow, acknowledging the presence of the other combatant on the field. Unsheathing the lone sword from her side, she simply held it in a firm grasp, mainly for the lack of better gestures to start this with. The healer thoroughly disliked the sensation of having a weapon on her hand, but she had to do it.

Ever so gently, the white tattoo on her hand glowed faintly, its perpetual warmth extending on to the asauchi.

"Ready when you are, sir."

"Wasting no time, huh?" he said, his orbs narrowing down towards the glowing tattoo but only for a passive glance. It was probably in his best interest to keeping his distance from her, but then again, since when had he ever taken a battle to long-ranged? It wasn't that he couldn't; more so, he wouldn't out of principle.

"Well, alright then..."

"Destructive art thirty eight, Daishou," he muttered under his breath, the arrow surfacing beneath Ansherina's feet, pointing upwards. Before the spellcaster could so much as even register the spell beneath her, almost simultaneously, the pink-haired Duelist rushed forwards peculiarly without a shunpo to bridge the distance nor even to consider unsheathing his soul cutter against an armed opponent.

Jumping into the air, Ryoujin grasped hold of a scythe that materialized. Within an instant, it soon became clear why he still hadn't used Kazeoni. Alongside the scythe, two lances also materialized, their sharp edges plummeting downwards towards the prone target.

With a swing of the scythe that he held onto, he also brought it down to bear on the blonde-haired women.

ability
Perma release, also Daishou used.
6% total shikai rei used- First shikai ability.
The primary ability of Kazeoni allows Ryoujin to craft any weapon that he so chooses, ranging from swords, spears, scythes, etc. Each weapon that is summoned has the physical properties of the original and can harm spiritual beings(ie: If a sword is summoned, it is made of steel...). He can summon one weapon per 2% of his reiatsu. After training vigorously, Ryoujin can summon up to ten blades maximum at once if he so wishes.

Ansherina was sent flying up in the air by the Daishou, and though flailing in the air, the sight of two lances heading towards her way was something her silver eyes were able to catch before they crashed upon her body. From above and below, wherever she looked, there was something waiting for her. It was a horrible predicament, and if she didn't do anything, it could only be worse.

Pointing downwards, the young woman gulped, almost knowingly that even her move might be harmful to her. "Way of Binding number fifty, Ginshinrin!"

She could not deny the sharp pain that seared from her sides when one of the growing trees bloomed from the spot, its metal branches slowly panning out and interlocking with each other, forming an dense forest of metal around and far above the two combatants, almost obscuring the sun from view, save for the occasional fleck of light that peeked and reflected on the intricately interlocked branches above. It would at least suffice to encumber any other weapons that her eyes could not have caught, and out of the duelist's direct reach.

As soon as her frail body crashed on the grassy earth, the blonde Russian clambered on her feet and took a quick flash step away from the whole quandary-- but not before she struck her sword on the nearest reachable tree. Upon making contact with her blade, the lifeless forest of silver quickly thrummed with energy, with the electric power of Tsuzuri Raiden coursing through its intricacies. However, by the time it leapt to life, she was already away from the scope of this trouble she made with her own hands. Not too far away, but at a distance where it was safe to say that she was out of reach of the trees' branches.

As a result of her string of rather uncoordinated movements however, Ansherina plopped back to the ground. Not the most graceful of movements, but that's what someone gets for skimping on training. With a slight grunt, the small woman struggled to lift herself back to her feet.

:: 356/730 words ::

p.s. I assumed you're also coming from above so...

Stuff and calculations!
Basically, electric forest, yes. *nods*

Soooo~ Since I have Addle, it doubles the costs of base techniques.

[shunpo] 200 > 400
The kidou spell used with Rasen is Tsuzuri Raiden, but since it wasn't reinforced by an incantation, it's considered bypassed sooo

[eishouhaki] Tsuzuri Raiden ~ 560 > 1,120
[eishouhaki] Ginshinrin ~ 750 > 1,500

Also, I was told that Addle also doubles thresh deductions soooo~
-2720 kidou thresh
-3,120 reiatsu

Technically, Anshy didn't doublecast for the turn because she loaded Tsuzuri Raiden on the previous turn and Ginshinrin on this one. Slap me if my common sense is wrong.

Tsuzuri Raiden - Hadou #11, 80 Kidou

Description: Imbues an electrical charge to the caster's hands, and by extension, anything he is holding.

Incantation: Thunder and lightning are but putty in my hands. I can grasp the storms themselves and shock the world with all my might! Hadou #11, Tsuzuri Raiden!

Ginshinrin (Silver Forest) - Bakudou #50, 750 Kidou

Description: A 5m radius area sprouts a forest of shining metal trees, the branches interlocking overhead. Though the trees are only a few inches in diameter, they are tightly packed, with only about three feet between each, making it difficult to swing long weapons.

Incantation: Seed, sprout, grow, spread your majestic crown. Silver cherry blossoms frozen on the wind. Bakudou #50, Ginshinrin.

rasen :: b-tier
unique item

Rasen takes the appearance of two identical pale pinkish-white tattoos at the back and the palm of her hands, connected by two thin lines traveling along the length of her fingers to its tips. Due to the little contrast between Ansherina’s skin and the tattoo’s hue, those who are not paying attention might fail to see the tattoo on her hands.

The item serves as a link on the reiatsu channels on the hands to the objects outside the user’s body, thus the reiatsu passing by those points are more controlled. By paying 500 reiatsu in addition to a spell’s base cost, she may channel a kidou spell from her hands to anything she is holding, its effects activating only when the channeled item makes contact with the target. If this item is activated when holding nothing, the spell will activate upon first contact with any part of the tattoo.

Only spells with 3 slots or lower can be channeled via the tattoo, and Ansherina must release it within three turns, otherwise, the spell will lose its effects. Also, although most of the spells released are considered bypassed due to the instantaneous channeling, she can choose to recite the incantation before channeling it through Rasen to have its full effects. Due to the nature of the item, only instantaneous release, direct contact and projectile kidou can be cast using the item; also, those requiring special gestures to cast that involves more than the fingers and the hand cannot be used as well.

But not before, she heard the resounding crunch and loud thud of branches and trees being uprooted. By what exactly though?

The answer soon became clear, as through the narrow gaps and spaces between the forest of trees, his figure could be seen, moving as if he had expected for something like this. However, that would be an exaggeration. He wasn't about to go so far as to say that he was fully prepared for what was forthcoming. Although it was apparent that the healer's glowing tattoo possessed some sort of safeguard, he certainly didn't expect for her to escape from the bind she found herself in with such recklessness. It was shocking to say the least; it was almost too good to be true.

In fact, if it was not for that one counter, that one instant where Ansherina displayed just how crafty she was, then this fight may as well have been insignificant to him. As if she were some sort of trigger, all of his experiences with battles flooded back to him. Even though he had become inactive within the ranks of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads as of late, all it apparently took was just one moment to remind him of just how much he truly missed combat.

In order to match her challenge, with a forceful exertion of his reiatsu reserves, crimson auras seemed to envelop both of the remaining lances and the scythe he held. As the electrifying tree branches came dangerously close to stunning him, he swung the supercharged weapons, producing a shockwave that sought to carve a path straight through the barrier between him and Ansherina. In moments, as he was launched back a bit from the recoil, the Storm Hunter's flooding wave of reiatsu threatened to envelop the strawberry blonde-haired woman.

Ability
Attack: At a cost of 5% of his reiatsu, Ryoujin is able to supercharge each weapon. Imbued with the biting force of a powerful gust, each weapon works in tandem to produce one huge slash-shockwave which travels forward towards an approaching enemy. It can travel at a flat 30 feet.

If there was anything she was prepared for, Ansherina was definitely not prepared for that. The problem with Ginshinrin was that the whole thing was made entirely out of metal, and with their deep metallic rooting, their stiff structure did not even have enough leaves to signal the approach of such an assault. The blades of emerald grass swayed lightly at first, sending mere ripples on the field... until they fluttered uncontrollably, heralding the swift approach of the shockwave, until the conglomerate of menacing gale and dense reiatsu crashed upon her frail body in its full force, sending her flying backwards by a vast distance, rolling on the mass of earth several meters from where she previously was and simply rolled farther from the forest, which now slowly faded into thin air, ceasing to exist.

The duelist came to view, and a vast expanse of land stood between them. Never too far, but just enough for her to be safe from the pink-haired officer's reach.

"Shave, Grand Mountain," she started, as soon as the blonde got to her feet. It could almost be interpreted as mere limping, with how weak her movement was-- except the subtle movement of her lips, and the soft thrum of her voice that drifted in the air. "Let your soul fly free, and your flesh roll down!" Soon, the mass of earth, the rich soil and its rocks, along with all its foliage-- trees and grass alike, collected itself and rose up, as though growing a mountain to conceal her figure from her opponent.

"Way of Destruction number sixty-six, Landslide!" she finally spoke from behind the earthy mess as the piece of earth roared down to Ryoujin at an overwhelming mass and speed, threatening to bury him beneath this patch of softened land that menacingly made its way towards him as the earth rumbled with Landslide's fury.

By the time it rushed towards the duelist, however, the small Russian already disappeared from location. No, she was there, among the assault she brought forward to Ryoujin, clinging tightly around the thickets of a tree with her feet planted on its unstable branches. If surfers rode the waves, it was as though the woman rode the earth, just like that. But not without difficulty, of course.

Landslide - Hadou #66, 1800 Kidou

Description: Stomping their foot against the ground, the user summons a large shift in the earth to flow upward. The flow of earth then slides down within the area of the target. The target is then buried within dirt, rocks, mud, and any other material within the soil. Also, if this attack is used on a slope, the attack is even faster because the first part does not have to activate and the earth will simply shift and engulf the target.

Incantation: Shave, Grand Mountain. Let your soul fly free, and your flesh roll down. Hadou #66, Landslide.

There it was again. Not only was she persistent, but she was also exceedingly skilled in her craft that it was questionable by now whether or not it was a coincidence that he was always pitted off against a spellcaster. It almost reminded him of that fight with Lilith Maikeru in that pharmaceuticals lab. In fact, if it were not for that instance, he would have never opted to add the demon arts into his own arsenal as well.

"Destructive art fifty-two," he began, finally unsheathing his soul slayer as the masses of debris came raining down, engulfing the entire battlefield. His expression from this distance was indiscernible, but the air was different, suddenly seeming to carry a heavy weight. The ground seemed to groan in protest as the temperatures began to skyrocket, making moving all the more difficult. Jumping up into the air, and using a large chunk of land as leverage, he finally called out, "Funsha!"

Propelled not only by his own speed but also by the jets of fire bursting from his feet, Ryoujin launched himself forwards, weaving his way past the landslide. Although it seemed like he had escaped unscathed, amidst all of the chaos ensuing ahead, Ansherina would quickly notice the blood gushing forth from a wound across his forehead where jagged rocks had cut across his skin. Nevertheless, Kazeoni's cutting edge was pointed steadily towards the woman, approaching her mid-section.

Scorched Earth
The notion of ‘shock and awe’ is what instills meaning into a Duelist’s fighting mentality. It is a tenet which has been pounded into their hearts and minds to the point where it has become as instinctive to as breathing. As such, those under the banner of the Eleventh have developed within themselves an internal, unquenchable fire which aims solely to crush and rapidly dominate their foes. The very presence of a seasoned Duelist in the battlefield incites trepidation and unease within the enemy ranks, so much so that the land itself becomes subjugated to their power.

For the cost of 3% of their reiatsu per round, a user’s spiritual pressure morphs and grows denser as it further weighs down on the combat zone. This reflects as a dramatic increase in the area’s overall temperature to the point where nearby water even begins to boil and evaporate. The closer one is to the user (roughly 10 feet), the more intense the influence becomes, pushing them further and further into dehydration and heatstroke. In turn, as time progresses, this could inevitably cause one’s actions to stammer and falter.

Funsha (Jet Propulsion) - Hadou #52, 1025 Kidou

Description: Upon reciting the incantation, the user's feet begin to glow white hot as if aflame. Once the caster has left the ground either by jumping or running off of an elevated surface, jets of fire burst from their feet, propelling them akin to a jet-engined aircraft. This effect requires 500 Reiatsu per round to maintain. If this cost cannot be paid the effect immediately ceases, regardless of how high or fast the user may be moving.

The user is capable of traveling 20 meters per round, and there is no 'hover' or 'slow' option.

Incantation: Listen to the howling roar! Spread your wings and cleave the twilight! Let my intensity burn bright! Hadou #52, Funsha!

Oh, why is the environment so hot? The healer thought as beads of sweat trickled down on her brow, only to evaporate halfway down to her chin. It was scorching hot, and she could feel it pricking through her skin. Her throat and lips felt dry, hindering her from talking much. The sight of an approaching Ryoujin reflected upon her silvery eyes, and though her mind racked with Adelaide's teaching of the demon arts, it seemed as though the synapses on her brain went haywire, her thoughts mixing into an incoherent haze. Why is he... so... persistent?

Her hands quivered, the commanding mind at a loss of what to do. By now, she should have been prepared for another counterattack, but something at the back of her mind prevented her from doing so. No, it was more of... she could think of all the things she can do to the duelist-- she can perhaps fire off a lightning-based kidou, based on how he shot himself straight at her, a massive-scale explosion to meet the opponent's incoming assault. Yes, that would be quite the easy thing to do, and it wasn't really hard for her to think up of that. However, the problem seemed not to come from the lack of knowledge, but the part of the mind governing her decision-making. Inasmuch as she wanted, she could not actually get herself to do it.

She whimpered helplessly on the branch, her fingers steadily curling into fists. I cannot do it! Ansherina thought in sheer resignation, watching Ryoujin's blade come closer. She cannot get herself to lift her hand against the duelist, but she must live. That much drive, at least, remained with her.

"Starvation of warmth, deep embrace. Spill across the flames and flow in the sky. Way of Healing number eight, Soft Breath," she croaked lightly, forcing what she could muster with her parched throat, allowing the white mist to relieve her body of the thoroughly unpleasant sensation brought about by the heat wave. And, with the use of a single shunpo, the woman disappeared from Ryoujin's sight.

Description: Reiatsu is used to ease the sensation from skin damage due to extreme temperatures. This effect is only for the surface of the skin. And pain from burns or frost is greatly reduced. Each use lasts for half an hour and is capable of covering the entire body at high enough kidou skill. The breath is visible in the form of white mist, like on a cold day.

By the time she had exited from her shunpo, Ryoujin had dug his soul slayer into the ground to bring himself to a complete stop. The jet flames from the use of Funsha vanished altogether, and as his auburn orbs took on a dull stare, he frowned. Why hadn't she attacked him right then? Was it because she couldn't from the extended damage that she had taken, or was it something else altogether? If he didn't know any better, then she didn't for moral reasons, the sort of thing he hated most.

Allowing his spiritual pressure to dim down along with the use of the Scorched Earth technique for the time being, Ryoujin stood there in the center of the clearing, his eyes searching about for any sign of Ansherina. His ears attempted to pick up on any labored breathing but to no avail.

Sighing, he muttered, "Way of Binding Five, Mage Eye."

As his auburn eyes quickly turned a shade of blue, even through the temporary mist that the healer had created, he could make her out through the trees that were still standing. Following the glowing blue figure, the pink-haired fourth seater bridged the distance between the two in a shunpo before cancelling the bakudou spell.

"I'm not going to ask you why you're here, because obviously, you've already thought that through unless someone forced you," Ryoujin began, "But I'm curious, we could continue this all day until you bleed out. If you're not going to strike me, what're you waiting for?"

With a smile, Ansherina looked at the duelist, amusement tainting her eyes. "Bleed out, sir? You seem to underestimate a healer's capability then. What kind of healer would I be, if I bleed out before finishing my duties?" A moment of silence ensued between them, with the woman wallowing on the relief Soft Breath afforded her body. At this point, if she merely kept running, nothing will be accomplished until they tire themselves out from exhaustion. Still, she cannot afford to take too much damage, or she might be forcibly taken out from her next fight. Still, the thought lingered at the back of her mind that it might be better to provoke the duelist, otherwise, she might not even be the littlest bit prepared for the reality of this whole tournament.

"To respond to your inquiry, sir, I was waiting for you to fight like the person worthy of your title. Surely, a senior officer of the duelists have not come to hold such prestige by going easy on, um, how do I put this... unworthy opponents?" The white mist continued to enshroud her body, and though already healed from the slight skin damage the intense heat inflicted on her body, it continued to surround her with its soothing coldness. "Do not worry about me, sir. Please clear your doubts and be rest assured that Miss Frey has taught me well." A slight breeze went past them,

From beneath the mist, its thickets concealed the mild glowing of the tattoo on her hands, though there nonetheless, its energy pulsating on the intricacies of her tattoo.

In the meantime, Ryoujin gripped Kazeoni's hilt tightly.

"Underestimate?" he laughed. "How's the saying go? Assumptions make an ass out of you and me, or something like that?

"My rank is not proof of my power. There are many people who are better suited to be the fourth seat; hell, I still don't know why I haven't been demoted. I guess you could say I was at the right place at the right time. There are a number of swordsmen that can cut me down now. I'll admit that maybe a long time ago, I might have underestimated you. After so many trips to the Fourth and even battling alongside your late vice-captain Emaru and even Makoto, my perspective has changed. However, if anything if you're talking about unworthy opponents, I might have overestimated you."

While she was lecturing him about going easy, here she was using nothing but kidou to fend him off. While he had used his shikai release, she still hadn't revealed her soul slayer. Maybe he could have shown her the final release. Although his contract with the wind demon had been terminated, he still neglected to use his trump card, a thought that still mystified him. Hadn't he always sought to use the powers granted to him? Back then, the only thing stopping him was the zanpakutou spirit itself, but now, there was nothing to restrain him but himself.

In the back of his mind, he knew that he could have perhaps went all out against Ansherina. Perhaps, it was disrespectful to not do so, but at the same time as this conflict wore on, even she should have realized by now his intentions. There was no use in expending any more energy than he already had if the opponent wasn't willing to reciprocate the exchanges with equal force. There was no fun in that.

As the revelation settled in, what little provocation that the healer managed to convey, came back in the form of a large shuriken tinged with crimson reiatsu. Rotating rapidly, the summoned weapon circled through the mist in search for the quarry. Meanwhile, his zanpakutou stood at the ready, poised for whatever she had to throw at him if the shuriken would not find purchase.

"You overestimated me? That is a flattering thought," she mused before hitting the shuriken with her asauchi, sent back by the sheer force of Shakkahou, its vermillion explosion ensuing as soon as the shuriken made contact. There was no precise hit from the healer, but just a touch was enough to activate the power of the explosive kidou withheld by her blade-- the power that pushed the incoming attack, as well as her frail body away from the branch. It was a surprise how the duelist came to overestimate her, considering that she had never hit anything with her blade precisely, nor did she have anything to show that she was worth wasting his time. She barely even got herself a decent footing as she fell back, feet unceremoniously crashing onto the mess of earth.

"Dance, playful sprite. Spin and twirl, clash and freeze. Let the mystic dance, entrance." She mumbled, silver gaze fixated on the pink-haired duelist. "Way of binding number fifty-five, Diamond Dust!" From the brightness of this clear day, the air twinkled, as though the air brought little glitters with it. However, this was not one to be truly enjoyed.

Note: Shuriken's direction is undefined. Feel free to choose where it goes.

But on the contrary, it was. This was the challenge he wanted. He was not Hayashi Amaya. He didn't enjoy being inflicted with pain, but he was a Duelist.

As the shuriken was rebounded back towards him, it gradually disintegrated from the smoldering flames from the Shakkahou explosion. By the time it reached him, it landed a few feet from him, shattering completely. That was not the end of it however.

As the air become frigid by the second, the dreaded technique that Kyuketsu taught him tried to counteract the spell. Apparently however, he was not quite at that level of mastery with it yet, but it did manage to buy him some time to keep the temperature at bay. As he realized this, he quickly stretched his hands out while he still could before he could be completely encased in ice.

It had been a while since he had used the spell, and with the way things were going, he had no option but to use the ebon dragon.

"The black serpent rises, the winged beast roars. Flames of Heaven and Hell converge, scorching the land in its fury. Corrupt dragon of the East, purge this world of life. Destructive Art seventy, Kokuryuha!" he exclaimed, wincing as the coruscating dark flames surrounded his arm before shooting forth towards Ansherina.

last kidou spell i can use :<
Using scorched earth again, and also, Kokuryuha - Hadou #70, 1750 Kidou

Description: The user stretches out his hand and his arm is covered in coruscating blackness. With a screeching hiss, the ebon flames are unleashed in the shape of a ravenous black dragon, flying up to 20m. Upon contact, the hungry fires will burn for three rounds, unquenchable by normal means.

A few things amused the Captain from her seat, legs dangling off the edge of a large rock being suspended in the open air by the sheer power of Adelaide’s mind. First, her student was being attacked with one of her own signature spells – the black dragon was practically part of her sigil it was so associated with her. Second, not all the barbarians of the Eleventh were totally inept in the art of demon magic. That gave Adelaide hope, as one of the art’s foremost practitioners in the Gotei.

Third, Adelaide took a bit of pride in how talented Anshy had become. The medic had come a long way from summoning armchairs. Though, if she had one handy it would’ve made a far more comfortable seat. Either way, it was good to see she was clearly a competent instructor.

But then, even without Adelaide's guidance on this field, it seemed like they shared one more uncanny trait.

Ansherina barely composed herself when the ebon flames of Kokuryuha ravished the air, blazing malevolently as it hurled itself towards her. Eyes widened, the woman could barely see the kidou launching itself straight at her. At that moment, it seemed as if though her eyes had seen, her brain failed to process. It was mere inches from her form when her body's reflexes leapt to action, acting upon the only feasible course of action to take, considering that she was out of moves to take.

"Threshold!" The word escaped her lips, just in time to meet the searing flames of Kokuryuha slam against her body. Despite the lack of pain her body felt, her eyes could very well see the damage that it quickly inflicted on her skin, her fair complexion turning even paler, pinker, and more sensitive beneath the patches of burning fabric. She was thrown back by a few meters, her frail body landing with a soft thud against the grass.

This girl is on fire, but it's not going to stop her from finishing this.

Customarily standing up as though she wasn't ablaze, the healer turned to face the duelist once more, the asauchi held firmly between her fingers. With one flash step, the spiritons at her feet brought her closer to the pink-haired officer, traces of her reiatsu beginning to course through the untrained blade as the burning lady swung as well as she could, aiming at Ryoujin's midsection.

Threshold - Bakudou #29, 290 Kidou

Description: Deadens the body and makes the user incapable of feeling pain for a limited amount of time. The user ignores cuts, bruises, and broken bones that they have. The side effect is that it is very possible to bleed to death, since while the kidou is in effect you feel like you're in perfect health. It becomes near impossible to tell the extent of your injuries. Unfortunately, when the kidou wears off prepare yourself since with severe injuries you'll probably be overwhelmed with pain if not rendered unconscious. Lasts for a maximum of four rounds.

Incantation: Kill the senses, deaden this body! Restrain any pain that could be inflicted! Bakudou #29, Threshold!

(GM Judgment:

A good fight on both sides and quite a bit closer than I expected, but the edge here goes to Ryoujin. Ansherina seemed to hold back a bit too much on defenses and healing, which could have tipped the odds in her favor.

Victory to Ryoujin.)
