Appearance: In its normal form Zakeriah’s mask is completely smooth and featureless aside from five raised obsidian ridges on either side and two obsidian horns sprouting from the top of his head and curling behind. When he gets angry enough the area where his mouth should be breaks into a five-segmented maw (think Predator), each ridge lined with jagged teeth.

Ghatanothoa, the Eye of Iblis (Mask/ low lvl): (Attack) 1000 rei per turn. The obsidian ridges along the sides of Zakeriah’s head suddenly move and are revealed to be fingers and hands. They lurch forward and snag a nearly imperceptible divide in the center of the mask, quickly pulling it apart and revealing a huge staring eye. This is Iblis’ second eye, still in Zakeriah’s possession and still holding the spirit’s power. The eye stares deeply into the soul of whomever it sees and finds the core buried deep within.

By exposing the great eye Zak has an awareness of everything the target the eye sees is up to. This translates into him being able to react slightly faster to anything his target does. He does not know what attack is being performed or what spell is being cast per say but he can read the intent and thusly react much more quickly and appropriately (effectively raising his hohou by 1000).

[Something Something Name, Undecided]: S-tier Item

Appearance: A six inch silver cross measured evenly from all four arms. The metallic substance which makes up the piece is adorned with a series of scarlet lines, all intricately designed from tips to center. The middle point is encrusted with a gem of some kind, appearing more like an artificial ebony eye complete with all the features of such.

Ability: Upon evoking the item’s power, the cross disintegrates into a fine dust which then encircles the owner. It gathers and materializes spiritual energy around it, eventually amassing just behind its user’s shoulders. It finally morphs into the bifurcated upper body of a gray-shaded apparition originating and remaining directly from the shinigami’s back. The manifestation’s appearance, twisted and macabre, bears a muscular feature with spiked protrusions running from its shoulders down its spine. Appendages twice the size as Kyuketsu’s, the phantom’s intended purpose is to act as a second pair of arms readily available to the soul reaper. It acts on the user’s every command, and though coming off as translucent, the fortified reiatsu that makes up the being is decidedly solid and durable. This costs 1,000 reiatsu to activate.

Should Kyuketsu choose to pay an additional 500 reiatsu for a single turn, the phantom can momentarily gain heightened raw strength be it through picking up some heavy items with ease or with just any general action.

Once no longer needed, the apparition crumbles down to form once more the cross.

Acquisition: Gained by Kyuketsu in his trip to the Rukongai. Currently under way.

Acquisition: Gained by Kyuketsu in his trip to the Rukongai by piecing together two artifacts, one held by his intended bounty in the Zaraki District, while the other within an ancient cave after passing a series of 'tests.' Chapter are currently being written.

Name: Zenchi (Omniscient) ぜんち

Tier: A

Appearance: A square mirror, eighteen by eighteen inches, and framed by dark brown rosewood. Ornate vines and leaves seem to emerge out and around the border of the frame, extending its design into an intricate piece of art.

Ability: This mirror allows Lilith to see anywhere within her Reiatsu Noukan range. She selects any spot as if she were standing in position, able to change the angle of view at will. To use, Zenchi requires one thousand reiatsu and is active for three turns.

Acquisition: Forged by Captain Lilith Maikeru herself, the mirror is made with an intimal layer of liquid that came directly from the Tenth Division's sacred lake, Kosui Shinkouteki. This liquid serves as the reflective surface for the glass as well as the interface to view another position in space.

Item Physical Description
Rokuro's mask has the appearance of a serrated, parrot-like beak. It is foreshortened, and the gaps between the upper and lower mandibles serve as eyeholes.

Item Abilities
By paying 200 reiatsu, Rokuro may see normally through effects that would otherwise obscure his vision. These effects must cost less than the amount paid. If the effect originated from Rokuro, he need not pay to see through it, he gets to do so for free.

What effect, if any, will this have on things such as smokebombs, natural dust-clouds, darkness, or whatnot that have NO costs? I think I know the answer to thais question, but I'd like to get it straight from the horse's mouth so I don't make any unwarranted assumptions. Technically, these would all be things that obscure Rokuro's vision, but they aren't necessarily 'effects.'

Appearance: Inochigari Gakusha is a simple black sensu (folding fan) with a paper-like material that is thin and yet surprisingly durable. It is a total of 14 inches long. The only decoration it contains is an inscription of Satoru's full name in silver kanji on the handle. When it successfully makes contact with something, Satoru's name will flash red. It is typically carried in a black pouch tied to his saya.


Abilities: Satoru can infuse the fan with 50 reiatsu once each turn until the stored amount reaches 150 reiatsu. For every 50 reiatsu contained within the fan, successful strikes against the opponent will push them back one meter from the point of contact. Attacks made with the fan are determined by his Hakuda stat. Satoru can use the fan the knock away projectiles and deflect attacks that cost less than the infused amount, but the fan's stored energy will decrease with every successful deflection. The fan passively repairs itself using a negligible amount of his reaisu over the course of a week if destroyed or damaged in battle.

Acquisition: Inochigari Gakusha was bestowed unto Satoru upon the mystic's graduation from the Spirit Arts Academy. His second hakuda instructor gave it to him for reasons yet to be made known. Satoru gave the fan its name because of the numerous amount of times that Toya has beaten the poor student to the ground with it.

An ordinary Tarot deck, the backs of the cards emblazoned with what appears to be an intricate fractal pattern. Arano keeps them in a small card case at his hip.

By retrieving a single card, Arano may impart a false beacon of energy by paying 1000 Reiatsu into it. This beacon will remain wherever the card is left, and mimics Arano's signature in both strength, nature and feeling, making it perfectly identical. The beacon may be dispelled by Arano coming into contact with the card again, and expires naturally over the course of 24 hours.

Commonly worn on his person, Theo has an azure blue scarf that he has constantly wrapped around his neck. The thread it is made of is silk, soft to the touch and screeches when rubbed together. The scarf is just under a meter long with frayed ends.

[ Item Ability ]
By spending 100 reiatsu, the scarf glows a faint color and begin to flow as if blowing in the wind. The next kidou Theo casts will gain an additional 5 meters to its range, furthermore, when speaking there will be a soft, deep voice overlay from the properties the scarf.

[ Acquisition ]
The creation of Hell Moth’s is something not explicitly known to every person in Soul Society. However, the upper echelon of his division tasked him with the mission to watch over a batch of hatchlings. During the process, his scarf was infused with the mystical energies of the area and situation that lead to its kidou enhancing and commutative properties

A metallic casing encloses Raury’s palm and the back of his hand, leaving his fingers free. The construct rides partially up his wrist and ends after the cuff. Sleek and slender, this was built to in no way hinder his range of motion. A small light located on the palm winks blue when the glove is active and loaded.

[Item abilities]

The glove is designed to hold in store a portion of Raury’s reiatsu to be expelled when he sees fit. As long as the glove is equipped, the reiatsu is being stored, and immediately refills after use.

The stored reiatsu is utilized as an augmentation of a natural strike’s destructive force, and effectively deals a high amount of damage in the form of a small burst of reiatsu at the point of contact, effecting a pressurized blast. If this strike fails to hit its target, a small blast occurs as the targetless reiatsu explodes outward from Raury’s palm. The blast travels no further than 3m. (Cost: 500 rei)

Item Appearance: Rasen takes the appearance of two identical pale pinkish-white tattoos at the back and the palm of her hands, connected by two thin lines traveling along the length of her fingers to its tips. Due to the little contrast between Ansherina’s skin and the tattoo’s hue, those who are not paying attention might fail to see the tattoo on her hands.

Item Abilities: The item serves as a link on the reiatsu channels on the hands to the objects outside the user’s body, thus the reiatsu passing by those points are more controlled. By paying 500 reiatsu in addition to a spell’s base cost, she may channel a kidou spell from her hands to anything she is holding, its effects activating only when the channeled item makes contact with the target. If this item is activated when holding nothing, the spell will activate upon first contact with any part of the tattoo.

Only spells with 3 slots or lower can be channeled via the tattoo, and Ansherina must release it within three turns, otherwise, the spell will lose its effects. Also, although most of the spells released are considered bypassed due to the instantaneous channeling, she can choose to recite the incantation before channeling it through Rasen to have its full effects. Due to the nature of the item, only instantaneous release, direct contact and projectile kidou can be cast using the item; also, those requiring special gestures to cast that involves more than the fingers and the hand cannot be used as well.

Item Acquisition: The special tattoo was imprinted on her hand by her father-in-law, Miyahara Sougen, who developed the original tattoo formula. (chapter pending)
