Next to the list of awards, each one has "Request Award" and "Recommend Award". These allow you to provide a link to be granted an award for yourself, or provide a link where someone else achieved an award. Once it has been allocated through that system, THEN you come here and request the kan for it. It's a slower process, in theory, but one that's a lot easier on Sev and Will, since only they can distribute awards/kan.​
