Apollo is still a blast to read even after such a short introduction. His outrage at the idea that someone could match his skills is made all the more hilarious as he wanders the competition's shops and realizes he doesn't have quite as much a leg up as he thinks.
Is this the same Tycho or just reusing the name? I don't think I read enough of Tycho before to tell off-hand. Either way, seeing Apollo strong-arm the younger gunsmith by offering the fancy shotgun was unexpected and yet perfectly in-character. Apollo's reactions through the affair are so hilariously overblown it's difficult not to get sucked in... and I appreciated the idea that he was willing to break in if he didn't get what he wanted.
The "Tycho" that I started PT is actually Apollo. I changed his name to Apollo last week. I used Tycho for this story character because I have no imagination.
