With another heavy step the ground shook. Behind it was a trail of razed corpses and buildings. Even after expelling what appeared to be a truly staggering amount of magical energy, the beast showed no sign of slowing. If anything, it appeared as if with every successful blaze it grew more determined. The stadium loomed in front of it, its hunger to conquer its new domain growing rapidly. Expanding its ebon wingspan again, buildings to either side were demolished by the weight. Concentrated vigor began to collect in its wings. The veiny, crimson underside of his wings once again began to light up with a complex, runic shape. The ability to tap into the magics of Bellator were common among demons, but to do it at such a scale and ferocity required innate advantages. For the draconic beast, the fires of Bellator were particularly attuned to its form. It continued forward, most of the individuals in front of it electing to simply run out of the way. The air around the beast began to heat up rapidly, reaching insufferable levels for those who still attempted to block the way.

In the midst of dealing with the imps, Dante's eyes widened as he glanced up catching a glimpse of the massive dragon approaching. It took the athlete only a moment to realize that the demon was making its way towards the stadium he was at. Oh hell no, I gotta try and stop it, but what the hell am I supposed to ? The athlete pondered in shock. Reflexively he touched the back of his pants and a relieving sigh escaped his lips as he felt the pouch where he held the Terra Regia for the spells.
The beast was way above what he would be able to deal with on his own, but regardless the athlete began running towards it. Frantically thinking about some sort of plan and hoping that help would arrive.
Ignis and her minions approached the Triumphare stadium shortly after the dragon's arrival on their floating platform. They turned, making a wide arc so as not to fly straight into the demonic beast. Although Ignis' grip on reality wasn't always the best, she understood even in the midst of an exciting adventure that caution and planning.
Held aloft quite a few meters in the air, it was likely anyone focused on the dragon missed them. Their height didn't hinder Ignis' observation of the scene below. Her sharp vision, part of her enlil heritage, allowed her to take stock of the man fighting off imps. She assumed he was an athlete, he looked a bit familiar, but he was too far away for Ignis to identify him.
Hmm... Ignis thought to herself, Knights and princes usually fight dragons. I'm not either of those things in this scenario. Well, we know who the dragon is at least. That guy down there isn't the knight so much as the damsel in distress. I suppose I could be a mage or something...
The enlil was pulled from her thoughts by Amicus tugging on her cloak and pointing.
The tank arrived on scene shortly after the mage a little winded, and still unsure why she hadn't bolted from the city yet. Regardless of her inner turmoil however, she stood ready with blade drawn, alert and trying her best to shake her thoughts. She didn't like thinking about her reasons much, and with good reason.
A mercenary's life meant constant fighting, that didn't leave much time to ponder the reasons for their actions. Focus Aelf, she took a breath. "Looks like ugly's here."
The barbarian could feel the heat from the demon's approaching presence and rolled her sleeves up. This is good, she thought, Focus on the now, the sensations, the smell, not- flipped her blade around and stabbed it into the ground harshly, breaking off her train of thought. That. She cracked her neck with her free hand before going to work on her hands and the rest of herself, trying to focus on something other than thinking about 'that'.
Instead she took to observing and took a second to memorize the spot, it'd be important later. Looks like rubble, ash, dirt, and bodies. She pulled her cloak's hood overhead, let's hope it still works.

explanation
Aelflead is remembering old things and being fairly childish to herself, but more importantly attempting to be invisible for a bit. Her unique item, Occultus' Shade, is going to cloak her to look like the dirt she's standing on for a while in hopes of remaining invisible to the folks around her. To the rest of you in case you decide to write seeing Aelf as she entered, she's just 'vanished' but a faint outline of her is visible if your char focuses hard enough, maybe less effort for those of you with sharp eyes.

The tyrant dragon’s roar was deafening. The bass shook the earth, vibrations sending shivers down the spines of the gathered. It dug its claws into the ground, vigor reaching the boiling point once again. Four portals of flames appeared around it. The heat emanating the portals began to melt the very ground it stood on. Flammable structures around the dragon spontaneously caught flame, a precursor of what was to come.
The attack was even more brilliant from up close. Crimson flames shot out of the portals in each of the four cardinal directions. Vibrant flames of varying hues and intensities blasted out with immense ferocity. Once again, the smell of smoke filled the air as the merciless inferno razed the area around it.
The ferocious attack died down, the path in front of the dragon now clear. The ebony-scaled demon took another tumultuous step towards the Triumphare. The bloodshot eye it carried within its exposed skull bone flickered back and forth to survey those around it. They appeared as insects to it.
So easy to crush.
[376]
Note
The dragon's attack takes a turn to charge before it fires out. It's basically a super Infurnus spell that fires out in each of the four cardinal directions for 45 meters. Getting hit by it directly does 5 tiers of fire damage and you know... burns alot.
The force of the dragon's battle cry buffeted Ignis' floating shield, prompting Amicus to put distance between them, the dragon, and the dangerously glowing portals. Ignis didn't even complain as the platform she was perched upon bent and shifted to form something more akin to a cup around her. It reminded her of a nest, though the thought wasn't comforting. The vines, bark, and branches comprising her protective cocoon would burn easily.
Briefly, Ignis wondered if the dragon would be harmed by her own war cry. The threatening glow of the portals made her discard that thought as quickly as it came. At present, she was best off supporting others in their endeavor against the beast instead of taking it on herself.
Somewhat relieved his overseer wasn't so out of touch with reality as to draw the dragon's attention to herself by angering it, he complied with her unspoken wish to survey the new additions to the stadium.
A faint shimmer caught the enlil's eye, but she could not identify what it was. Weary, she instructed Amicus to float her just close enough to shout, "Are you here to slay the dragon, too?"

A quick duck behind something that he assumed was not flammable was his reaction as the massive gout of fire engulfed the area he was standing in just a moment ago. Glancing over his shoulder in fear he witnessed the unimaginable destruction of the fire blast. And it can launch those blasts at will? the athlete thought as he stood back up and kept approaching the dragon. What am I doing running closer? I should run away, but the stadium is right on its path and I cannot allow it to destroy that! I will stop that no matter what!
As he reached closer to the dragon, his eyes spotted an enlil near it. Without really thinking about it, he shouted towards the mage and waved his right hand in a wide arc above his head and kept running towards her. Even as he kept approaching he kept frantically pondering if any of his magic would be of use in attacking the beast.
Deni neared the stadium, panting after he fled his sniping position. It was a shame - for once, he actually wanted to stay out of sight and wait for the whole thing to die down - but one particularly curious enlil insisted on jumping straight towards the fire. As he traversed the streets surrounding the Triumphare, it was easy to pinpoint the dragon's current location. The beast was massive and once he had first laid eyes on it, he was going to be sure that it didn't suddenly jump and land on him. Though that would have been a spectacular way to go, he had to ensure Ignis was safe first.
That woman's going to get me killed, the velen thought to himself. Blue eyes darted left and right, looking for the person that he so selflessly abandoned the safety of the inn for. Sweat started to bead suddenly on his forehead. Sure, he'd been running and he wanted to find Ignis to reassure himself that she was fine but...
An eruption of fire levelled buildings and reduced them to ash. The scorching heat was close enough for the velen to witness, but he hadn't made as much ground as he had originally thought, due to his late departure from the festival. He was lucky. Had he been a few minutes earlier, he might have been caught in that blast.
Deni hesitated after witnessing the attack. He'd never seen a bellator spell so powerful, so destructive. The whole ordeal with the AnO and the Conexus was one thing, but when it came down to it, even the powerful people were still just people. A giant dragon that had the destructive power of some of the strongest spellcasters in the world? That was pretty terrifying. And he was still heading straight towards it.
A sudden series of shouts following the wake of the blast caught the rogue's attention. Closer to the dragon, a lone figure seemed to be running towards something. A floating something.
Deni's eyes widened.
Cora!
Auritium pistol in hand, he surged forward in an attempt to rally with the two of them.
Ignis abandoned her attempts to speak to the wavering form in favor of dodging a pyre erupting from the ground. The cocoon closed around her to keep out the smoke and floated away before opening up a bit.
The enlil peered out, squinting through the smoke and ash. Cora reappeared by her side and whirred.
Ignis looked down and noticed someone waving to her. Amicus allowed the shield to uncurl just enough for his contractor to lean out of the protective ball and get a good look at the people below.
“Oh, hello!” She waved in return. Then, the enlil noticed her friend approaching. “Deni!” The woman called out.
The platform lowered and unfurled at the sight of a familiar face. Amicus instantly started waddling towards the velen, hoping he could convince Ignis to flee.
“Isn't this exciting?” the engineer asked, clearly thrilled rather than scared as she perhaps should have been.
What have gotten myself into? Aelflead staggered back from the heat, and felt the air rippling around her. Never before had she been so happy to be in a particular spot.
The spot she'd been standing in was just far enough out of the way of the spell to avoid being toasted in the cornera of the attack; that being said, she swore she could smell her hair burning afterwards.
She had taken a breath and lifted her blade when the enlil's call rang out, then turned and tried to decide whether she was happy to see the face at the other end of it. Bookbird and her friends, wonderful. She suppressed a groan and decided that an aggravating familiar face was much better than no face at all.
Killing this thing was gonna take all the help she could get, might as well be someone she knows.
After that decision the woman stole a glance at the beast and decided the demon couldn't see her, then then tightening the cloak's belt as well as she could around her waist and took off for the high pile of rubble near the enlil's floating platform that used to be a building. When she arrived she groaned again, great, Arsedrinker is here too, and he brought a friend. Aelflead looked on the athlete with mild disdain as he arrived with the velen, not that she had a real reason to not like him, but he was obviously pureblood, and had shown up with the velen.Birds of a feather, she figured.
"Apparently," said the woman shaped blob of dirt.

sorry
Sorry if I assumed too much for my turn, I figured they'd both be there by the time Aelf decided to pick up her feet.
Completely oblivious to the conversations occurring in front of it, the draconic beast continued its determined march towards the stadium. Not that it would care if it did listen in, after all the pests in the stadium would be burnt to cinders in a few moments anyway. Having had taken enough time to recover, once again it outstretched its wings to maximum span. The crumbling buildings around it provided the backdrop to the destruction that lay in its wake.
For the members in the stadium, the full glory of the beast’s preparations could be seen. The pulsating veins below its wings appeared grotesque. They formed an innate magic that was core to its very being, even expressed through its biology.
The vigor began to climb at a staggering pace, the collected energy once again causing the temperature around the ebon-winged beast to spike. The bloodshot eye fixated on the stadium still around a hundred meters away.
The cataclysmic attack was once again primed to fire.

Aight, so dragon is doing dragon charge.
Here's how the thread is going to work. Currently the dragon is 100 meters away. Each turn it freely moves without interruption, it moves 15 meters. Depending on what y'all choose to do, it can be slowed down or even stopped but given a chance, it's gonna keep moving.
When it reaches the stadium... well... Don't let it.
As soon as he reached the others, Deni stopped to take a few breaths. The look that he shot Ignis was an amalgamation of frustration and puzzlement.
"Exciting?" he repeated after her. He'd been ready to tell her that what she was doing was reckless and idiotic, charging straight into danger. In truth, however, he was just glad to see that she was alright. A smirk lifted itself onto his face after all. "I'm fucking elated!"
It wasn't until after the exchange that he saw who the laicar fellow was. Another one from the last Nocte Nils? He almost expected Cassum to pop up out of the ground and offer money for slaying the demon dragon thing. That'd be nice. Play the hero and nab the exa. He could dream.
What was that guy's name? It was similar to his own, he was sure. Danny? Denver? Regardless, the velen waved him closer to him and Ignis.
"To anyone who is listening," Deni shouted. Time for an inspirational speech that would echo throughout the ages. "We're not all good people..."
He pulled the sniper rifle off his back and pointed it at the dragon closing in on them.
"...but that thing is worse and its shitting on our city. Our. City."
The pale velen flicked a small lever on the side of the rifle and two metal bars flicked out, aiming back towards him in a similar fashion to that of a crossbow. Sweat beaded his forehead as he spoke. His grin turned maniacal as the adrenaline surged through his body. They were about to kill a fucking demon. Or die. It was better to focus on the former outcome.
"Let's kill it the best way we know how."
Deni closed one eye and aimed down the sight. He gazed upon the front of the beast. It was definitely a terrifying sight. Its massive black wings seemed large enough to incapacitate an entire legion with a few beats. Its jaws looked capable of crushing stone. The eye in its mouth, however... that was something strange. Something he'd never seen before. New was good.
He inhaled deeply. One webbed finger rested on the trigger, waiting for him to be certain of his shot.
There.
A bang signalled the loosing of one bolt, aimed at the eye inside the demon's mouth.
Well somebody could see fighting a gigantic dragon demon from Infernalis as exciting but that was not Dante what had on top of his mind. Briefly in his mind the not floating female and the velen seemed familiar, but the athlete could not exactly place where he had met them, if he even had in the first place. However the kinner dismissed these thoughts, they would only serve to distract from the task at hand. He chuckled at the velen's attempt of a pep talk.
”We must not let it get to the stadium, I would much rather at the end of the day still have place to play kinchaa at,” the athlete said to the people gathered around before dashing off straight towards the dragon with incredible speed that only people of his race could reach and with each long stride he took, the world around him seemed to slow down.
In a brief moment Dante had nearly reached the dragon's feet.

Personal Feat - Zone
Description: Dante had always been a natural for his game and under the expert coaching of his father the talent was tempered with extensive training over the years. As a result Dante has obtained a potential for the state of mind where an athlete becomes absorbed in their own play. For each athlete the trigger to enter this state of mind is different and the door to it opens up unpredictably. However Dante can force the door open at will. However, Zone drains the athlete's stamina considerably and after dropping from the Zone it is much harder if not impossible to enter it again immediately.
Effect: When activated, Dante is suddenly is capable of calling a burst of fight or flight energy, greatly increasing the athlete's running speed, jumping height and his field of vision expands to 180 degrees. He can perceive information quicker, making it seem as if time slows for the athlete. The athlete can also push his muscles further than most people, extending the duration of this state by paying 5% of his vigor per turn, up to a maximum of five consecutive turns.
Dante can maintain the Zone for a maximum of five turns per collab or chapter, and can activate it only once. This feat completely replaces the effects of ”Adrenaline Rush”.
Amicus' leafy palm slapped against his face as the creature let out a sigh. Of course Deni wasn't going to stop his lover from charging straight into danger. Of course he wasn't. The velen was going to cheer her on instead. With a low pitched rustle that sounded suspiciously like a groan, the mons infans crawled back onto the floating platform and sat, crossing his branchy arms.
Ignis ran her claws through the leaves atop his head.
The familiar pouted and tried not to be pacified, but gave into the infectious excitement his contractor was radiating. He was bound to a madwoman.
"Forward!" Ignis cried pointing at the dragon. "We have a dragon to slay!"
Amicus complied and the shield curled around the three, forming a sort of cup, and flew straight towards the horrid beast.
Determination hardening her eyes, Ignis prepared to capitalize on the distraction Deni created with his attack. She just hoped they could get there before the overgrown lizard stepped on the athlete and squashed him. Cora warbled in Ignis' lap, as if it were anxious to reach the scene of the fight.
The more practical part of Ignis' mind began to wonder if they could find weak points on the beast by shooting at it from different angles. It's strange mouth-eye couldn't be the only way to get at it. They needed time... perhaps she could start off with a war cry to make the beast think twice about stomping all over her home. A surge of territorial anger coursed through the enlil, making her feathers puff up.
Ignis was impressive, crouching with one knee down and one hand pressed against her platform of vines, branches, and leaves to stabilize herself, feathers raised, and a rather frightening facial expression, the enlil could have scared off a lesser being. Too bad the dragon was a giant beast that saw them as nothing more than buzzing insects.
Reilly was following the dragon the best he could, wanting to keep it within eye sight, and out of attack range for the moment, but as he neared the stadium that was not going to happen very much. He knew he could not let the stadium be destroyed, with that in mind he rushed towards the beast. However, when the the portals appeared he took shelter quickly, not wanting to feel the blast of what was to come. How far would it reach? How much damage would it do? These answers to these he did not wanted answered with his flesh. As the heat exploded out decimating the area around him and melting the remains he was using as cover.
As the flames died down as looked and saw that stone had literally been melted, which told him to not get hit by the fire. He rushed forward again, thinking of how to best to go after this dragon. Looking over the beast he counted the ways he could be maimed: back claws, front claws, mouth and magic. Adding these up he figured out the best way to fight it.
Heading right for the dragon, his goal was to quickly climb on and scale the dragon’s back. It was in his mind that this would allow him to avoid the claws and mouth, but left him in a dangerous spot if things turned for the worst. He continued to tell himself great risk and great reward.
Guess being half-blood makes me inaudible too, the barbarian grumbled, despite the fact that being invisible would nullify her mixed parentage's influence, but she was angry anyway. She wasn't happy about having to work with them in the first place, but she was still grasping at straws for reasons to be cross. She still hadn't decided whether she liked the city or not.
Aelflead rolled her eyes at the velen's inspiring speech, briefly comparing the man's energy to an airhead she knew but she shook off the thought and took off the demon.
She slid down the building quickly in her boots and began thinking along the same lines as the demon hunter who'd yet to make himself known. She flipped the aruitium blade around in her hand and slid it into the sheath on her back carefully as she ran, and drew the bigatium blade Marilyn had left for her and her knife, aiming to stab them into the massive beast's flesh when she arrived and hopefully take out it's achilles heel. If dragons even have those, I guess I should of paid more attention to animal biology lessons, then recanted the thought, deciding that biology wouldn't have prepared her for figuring out a demon dragon's anatomy on the fly.
Ignis narrowed her eyes at the dragon as they neared it, deciding that it was best to get near the beast's head. She didn't know how well dragon's could hear, but hoped she could be loud enough to distract it. The enlil briefly remembered the first time she'd used her call against something... it had been with a basilisk. Somehow, the dragon wasn't that much more terrifying. Perhaps knowing someone had taken the precaution to shoot it in the eye and eliminate the possibility of getting petrified helped.
No matter. She needed a plan that was a bit more thought out than "scream in the giant lizard's ear and then run." Scream in the giant lizard's ear and then escape under the cover of a smokescreen sounded much better.
Ignis' much smaller vigor thrummed as she prepared to use a spell also first employed against the basilisk. It was time to go lizard hunting. Once the lizard was distracted, and hopefully stunned, Ignis could pelt it with bullets to keep it off balance until Deni and the kinner could find and capitalize on a weakness.
A wet squelching noise could immediately be heard after the sniper shot. With an ear-piercing roar, the dragon recoiled its eye upwards. A sickening green substance erupted from the eyeball splattering in all directions. The eyeball rotated freely around the skull, desperately trying to figure out where the attack came from before fixating on the stadium.
At the same moment, the vigor stored in its wings was released haphazardly. Four portals appeared, overlapping over one another, directly above the beast. Four pillars of incinerating flames erupted straight upwards into the sky. The attack was uncontrolled, fierce and raw. The conflagration was every bit as powerful as before, but was dispersed freely into the air this time.
“Formicae!”
Even from his perch, Deni could see the eyeball staring directly at him. It appeared to glow for a moment, but perhaps it was simply a trick of light. A peculiar sensation overcame the sniper, a sense of mounting dread beginning to build for unknown reasons. The image of the bloodshot eye seemed to hang heavy in his mind.
Did it know?
A pulsing wound continued to leak blood from the eyeball. The open ram’s skull that served as the eyeball’s holder snapped shut. The crunch of the closing jaws hid the vulnerable eye from view behind a layer of thick bone.
The beast took a step forward before it dug all five pairs of claws into the ground. Expanding its wings to full span once again, with heavy flaps it began to pick up send waves of powerful air currents forward. The veins began to shine under the thin layer of flesh. Two enormous, elongated diamond portals appeared on the inside of the exposed wings. The slicing winds blasted outwards from the portals. The air moved with such ferocity that it appeared as if there as a barrage of sickle-shaped blades raining down. The force of the winds picked up the rubble on the ground, sending it forward with reckless abandon ready to crush any unfortunate individuals in its way.
[887]
Notes
The dragon has moved 5 meters forward.
[95] meters remaining.
SICKLE WIND Advanced - 200 Vigor Requires: 1x Dahlitium Pulveris When the caster pulls the energy forth, a cone of slicing winds roars forth, with a 5m range and 3m spread. Augmenting with Terra Regia increases the range by 5m and the spread by 3m for each grade, maxing out at 25m range with a 15m spread.
The dragon used an amped up Sickle Wind from the portals formed on its wings. It is effecting the 15 meter range in front of it with a 10 meter spread. Outside of that it also has a bunch of residual air currents that are being launched 50 meters forward. People close to the dragon are in danger of taking 2 tiers of magic damage from the Sickle Wind.
Those who aren't in close range but still within 50 meters need to deal with a bunch of rubble and unstable wind-currents effecting them. Think being in a thunderstrom. Getting hit by rubble will do 1 tier of damage. The rubble ranges in size from small rocks to entire sides of buildings that it destroyed.
The skull jaw that houses the dragon's eye has snapped close, a thick layer of bone acting as a shield. It consists of 1 armor, and will take 10 tiers of total damage to break through.
An odd sensation is effecting Deni. Could it know where he is?
Amicus panicked, the shield encapsulating them curled shut reflexively. A second later, they felt a heavy blow against the shield, throwing it off-course.
Ignis flinched and braced herself. Their shield couldn’t sustain any more damage without breaking. “Hit the ground now!” she ordered, afraid of what might happen if they remained aloft.
Cora whirred and warbled loudly as they suddenly began dropping.
Ignis hugged her familiar to her chest just before another piece of debris smashed into their pod, shattering it. The enlil went flying, drone desperately following her. Panicked, Ignis threw out her arms, cloak flapping about, to catch herself. She pressed her own ‘wings’ downward as she flapped to stay aloft.
Amicus clung to her, gathering vigor to create another shield.
Cora sent out a spray of bullets at smaller chunks of brick, wood, and other debris coming at them to break or redirect them.
Still, Ignis’ decent wasn’t completely without consequence. Smaller, sharp pieces of shattered wood and glass grazed her, making small cuts on her cheeks and ripping through her cloak. The enlil didn’t break her focus, steadily making her way towards the ground. She winced at the debris embedding itself into her feathers, but ignored it. The basilisk’s bite hurt more than that.
When she touched down, the enlil was forced to dive to the side immediately in order to avoid a large beam of wood. It looked like a support beam that had probably once been part of a house or store. Another shield grew out of thin air to cover her while the engineer picked things out of her feathers. “Stupid overgrown basilisk with wings,” Ignis muttered, thoroughly displeased.
“Alright, let’s go, Amicus. We are giving that thing infernalis.”
Still shivering against her chest, the mons infans complied, levitating the shield and turning it so that it made a horizontal platform. He could feel his contractor’s anger and determination. It scared him about as much as the dragon.
Ignis jumped on the platform and crouched, Cora settling beside her. She resumed her flight towards the dragon, her drone’s bullets breaking apart any remaining debris flying towards them. Anything too large to shoot out of the way, Amicus deftly avoided, weaving their platform back and forth.

Stuff and things
Remaining Vigor: 16,216 Used feather fall and minion ability again.
What the-... Aelflead stopped running for a moment as her jaw dropped from the sight of the raw power emanating from the beast's wings. Her next reaction was to get out of the way of the small office flying towards her.
Her dodge rolled her into a crouch where she came up with her longsword drawn to deflect or split the smaller debris like like beams. Now with blade in hand she got up from her crouch and continued her charge forward, blade flashing occasionally to slice through the occasional wood or steel beam, and dodging haphazardly to get out of the way of the rooms that came drifting by, struggling to stay on her feet the whole while.
The woman reached the beast's feet shortly after, and paused to get a look at the laicar that'd been a dusty blur to her a few seconds ago. His gaze at the beast was somewhat disquieting after seeing him run after the beast so quickly. Did he not have a plan for after he got here? Aelflead raised an eyebrow at the man but kept moving, she knew the shade's cloaking would only do so much for her in a regular situation, so she had to take advantage of the gift the demon had given her by kicking up the lovely dust it's wings were creating.
She sheathed her longsword quickly, and with a spin for momentum on her swing drew her heavy auritium blade from her back and brought it across her shoulder. Save for a sudden sharp pain cutting into her shoulder, the gold-hued metal would have hit it's mark.
Instead, a visibly white blade of air sliced into her shoulder past her blade, eliciting a curse from her lips and knocking her off her feet. She hissed at the pain and brought herself up to a crouch, and pressed a hand to the gash, revealing blood when she pulled it away and groaned in frustration. "Fuckin', perfect." The redhead could tell the cut wasn't too deep, but climbing the beast for her was no longer an option, at least not in the conventional way.
She stood again, more cautious this time and kept low to the ground to avoid the blades that whizzed by her head. When she reached the demon's leg finally, her cloak was covered in the dust that it was mimicking, and thoroughly fed up with 'windy weather'. The barbarian lifted her blade to her shoulder and set her foot like a impilla* player, and caught a flash of white in her peripheral. Unwilling to take another blade the redhead shifted her weight to alter her swing's angle and brought the blade straight across her shoulders, slicing through the blade and followed through into her strike, though instead of the beast's toe the gold colored blade angled to bite into the demon's ankle.
Aelflead figured that would have to be good enough.

awkward half slash
Aelflead is blocking the second Kaimatachi blade to come her way with the same strike she's cutting into the demon's leg with. I'm not sure if that counts as two attacks or one, so I'll just drop the base formula.
