“Loro li, Armonia,” sang the violinist. Those words usually harmonized with a church-like quality in her voice, but given the strain and circumstance, the summon was ragged and pained. She leaned against the wall for support as weariness and the throbbing in her ankle made it difficult to stand upright. Apphia tucked the majestic, royal blue instrument under her chin. With a somewhat shaky stroke, she slid the bow against the strings.

A moment later, a classical harmony chimed from the strings of her zanpkutou, riding the air across the Eleventh Division. It rang through the air before striking its intended target – the walls behind the marked Tentei Kuura user.

The walls came crashing down, locking the wayward shinigami in a sealed labyrinth with Adelaide and Creed closing in on him.

"Show me those teeth!" The scream came from above, amidst the chaos of falling rubble a form had sprung down from the roofs above. In his hands was a zanpakutou, though sheathed, it was being curled back like a baseball bat.

Creed's intention was clear, he was going to use the momentum of his fall and swing to clobber this man into some time tomorrow.

The attack would have been successful. Would have been, if the youth delivering it hadn't tipped his hand by screaming at his intended victim. The sudden use of a zanpakutou and the catastrophic change in environment had thrown Alonso entirely off his guard, but the words awakened him.

"Tangent!" He barked back, creating a thin barrier between himself and the plunging shinigami.

The result of the clash was thunderous, Creed sent tumbling through the air at the violent rebuttle of the kidou designed to repel attacks just like this. The golden-eyed youth smashed into a pile of rubble and sent up a plume of dust that had not yet quite settled.

Looking back to the other Mystic, the brown haired death god inquired again, "Yes?"

Watching Creed leap into action and miss so splendidly at being effective, Adelaide just sighed. “This is getting preposterous. Sorry, you’ve done something I can’t excuse. You’re coming with us.” Before he could respond, Adelaide held up one finger to him with all the frustration she used to stop Fujeda Kiriko once upon a time. She tried to leave Creed and Apphia outside the field, but she slowed the target to near-stopping. Her breathing was heavy, her hand held out to control the time dilation field, as if it was a physical thing. She had no time to play; she had no patience for him.

Adelaide was breathing a bit heavier, “Team, do something. This takes a lot of work, since I’m not entirely sure what it is.” She really hoped that this didn’t surprise them, or at least not until this was all handled. Maybe once she got used to controlling the field and focus on other things, but right now it took a lot of focus to force the effect.

Squinting one eye to keep the blood running down from his scalp out of it, Creed was most happy to oblige. Use kidou? Nope. Hit him in the gut to wind him? Nope. Crack the motherfucker open with a swing? Yep.

Repeating the same motion as last time, only, not screaming at his foe as he dashed in, Creed executed a horrendous swing to Alonso's head, battering him to the ground with a remorseless stroke. The activity was enough to propel the man from the stasis constraining him, but it would be of little concern. The enemy was out cold.

Attempting to wipe some of the blood from his face, the earthen-haired youth told his superior, with a little pleasure seeping through into his voice, "Job's done."

Adelaide let the world rush back to motion, having burned through a significant portion of power to do the kind of temporal feats she managed. Her breathing was still heavy and her entire body felt on fire. “Good.” She felt light-headed, much like she had in the moment between her Bankai and passing out. “I’m just gonna be in pain a second. Good work Creed.” Doing that on command was a lot more taxing than she anticipated.

It needed practice. But the job was done, and that’s what mattered.
