Tokyo
Several city blocks were destroyed and hundreds of citizens killed. Several thousands also threatened by the bombs survived.
Cerberus, Orpheus, and Tokyo Nishi Kotogakkou all survive.
A towering skyscraper of jagged steel climbs into the sky, standing as a permanent memorial for the events that unfolded.
The unnamed Vizard remains at large.
Soul Society
3 of the 6 judges from the Central Forty-Six died. All 40 counselors survived. The ones who died had high noble backings, however, and its certain that the deaths will not be the end of the consequences.
The 12th is under additional scrutiny and is now responsible for investigating targets before killing them. Note that not all 12th bounties are inherently guilty. Correctly deducing which ones are innocent will earn the relevant rewards.
Mizuki Honoka is dead, and Kono Tsuneo will be considered Acting Vice-Captain until more permanent placements are made.
Kusajishi Kaede is dead, and the 9th division is closed.
Maikeru Lilith's actions in Tokyo are accepted as her Taishuu Practical, but judgment must be made by the current captains as to whether she qualifies as a captain.
Uchiharu Haresuno's actions in Hueco Mundo are accept as his Taishuu Practical, but judgment must be made by the current captains as to whether he qualifies as a captain.
Hueco Mundo
Prometheus remains at large, and will continue to spread his influence throughout Hueco Mundo. What that means for Soul Society and Earth remains to be seen.
The surviving members of the scouting party are all affixed with Prometheus' Kurome (Black Eyes). These cannot be removed by normal means (doing so will result in permanent character death). The Kurome are tinged with madness and affect each individual differently, as follows:
Haresuno Uchiharu
All incantations replaced at random. Unable to communicate with or release his zanpakuto. Attempts to fight instill images of Prometheus, weakening strength and resolve.
Tabawara Udo
Attempting to release increases Udo's height by six inches.
Kyuto Tounyuu
Will fall down randomly and often under normal movement.
Reijuu Kyuketsu
As long as he is holding a weapon, he will do the Electric Slide.
Makoto Matsumara
When casting any spell, the reiatsu will be lost and Makoto's clothing will change at random.
Zakeriah
As long as he is holding a weapon, he will bow deeply every five seconds.
Picca Lilli
When casting any spell, the reiatsu will be lost and Picca will be launched 10m in the air.
Ito Kurohashi
Every sword swing decreases Kurohashi's height by two inches.
Kamenashi Yuurei
When casting any spell, the reiatsu will be lost and Yuurei will be teleported to a random spot within 10m.
Tsubaki
As long as she is holding a weapon, Tsubaki will mimic Cloud's victory dance.
Anenokoji Senesati
When casting any spell, the reiatsu will be lost and Senesati will be flipped upside down.
Kinugasa Seitaro
When casting any spell, the reiatsu will be lost and the effect replaced with Sekienton.
Maruyama Ilsa
Unable to communicate with zan and attempting to release changes age randomly.
Griffin
Any movement instead becomes the moonwalk.
Sanzu Shizuka
When casting any spell, the reiatsu will be lost and the effect replaced with Kanen, centered on Shizuka.
Arashi Ryoujin
Any movement instead becomes a cartwheel.
Mineto Mitsuyo
When casting any spell, the reiatsu will be lost and Mitsuyo will change gender.
Double-Taishuu
Haresuno and Lilith were called to a double-taishuu. As a preliminary battle, Sayis battled both of them to show them just what level of brutality they could expect to face as captains. They survived, but while Makoto healed them for the real taishuu, alerts came in for the trouble in Hueco Mundo. Sayis sent four of the captains straight to Hueco Mundo, while Ishin went back to Seireitei to investigate the fiasco with the 12th Division.
12th Division
In Honoka's absence, an agent of Fukushin was able to plant false bounties for the 12th division with high priority. Without questioning the bounties or giving adequate investigation, the 12th division went about efficiently wiping out several of the targets before the deception was revealed. In the uproar that followed, assassins from the most public of the botched assassinations (Okamii Igasho and Yamamura Eiji) were paraded before the C46, where they were sentenced to the Seventh to repent. Merely saying they were following orders was not a sufficient defense, and as such will have the rest of the 12th eyeing their future assignments more closely.
Central Forty-Six
Following immediately after the sentencing, a mysterious human walked straight into the center of the chambers, naming himself as Raifuku (another alias for Fukushin). Demonstrating familiarity with Soul Society and the Central Forty-six that no human ought to have, he then openly challenged the members of the chamber. When the Kenpachi did not arrive after being summoned, Fukushin attacked and killed #46, Kikuchi Issei. Captain Ishin arrived with the members of the 12th to assist in defending and evacuating the judges, but in the midst of the confusion, the #42 Judge was also slain.
Fukushin then squared off to fight against #44, LaSalle Septimus and Ishin Katsuji. Demonstrating skill in zanjutsu and kidou that a human should not have, yet clearly boasting the physical advantages of the Advent Humans, Fukushin held his own against both, ultimately slaying Septimus. Rather than fight against Ishin, he withdrew from the chambers via kidou and left a bomb to destroy the chambers.
Tokyo
Chosen individuals from Orpheus, Cerberus, and Tokyo Nishi Kotougakkou received information on bombs that were placed in all three of those locations. To deactivate the bombs, they were forced to run through a series of hoops, solving riddles and puzzles, to locate a fourth detonator. Once all four detonators were together, they were locked in the room and had to make a desperate choice: blow up one of the three locations, blow up themselves, or choose nothing and let everything blow up. Masato chose the route of self-sacrifice, pushing the button that would detonate the tower they stood in.
The tower was not as abandoned as it seemed, however, and they inadvertently blew up the home of a dangerous, unnamed Vizard along with themselves. Though able to barely survive the blast, the humans then had to contend with the Vizard, who was able to steal their own powers from them. The battle was brief but violent, resulting in the devastation of several city blocks and the brutal death of hundreds of humans. When shinigami arrived to assist, the Vizard erected a monumental spire of steel to serve as a message to Soul Society that Earth was no longer weak, and that if they were to challenge him, he would not hold back. Then, message delivered, he left without a trace.
Hueco Mundo
A scouting party was initially sent to investigate unusual reiatsu spikes. The groups became separated, and ended up engaged in battle against four of the ancient Espada from Masaru's era. Clearly outmatched, they managed a distress signal, which quickly elicited the response of four captains. The Espada soon proved to be no more than figments of madness, and it became clear that the shinigami were battling one another. When that was revealed, the source of the madness, a Vasto Lorde, Prometheus, revealed itself.
Already drained from fighting each other, the madness took deeper hold on the shinigami, making it both hazardous and foolish to continue fighting. Realizing this at length, but unwilling to retreat, Senesati, Tsubaki, and Haresuno each sought to sacrifice themselves to overcome Prometheus. When Haresuno sealed himself with Prometheus, his division mate Mitsuyo refused to accept the sacrifice, and unleashed the black flames that the Vasto Lorde was emitting. All of the scouting party felt the sensation of dying, and were found by Sayis and Theron unconscious, barely alive. The Vasto Lorde had disappeared.
