Hawk - Denied on so many levels. A rei cloak alone would warrent an entire ability but that plus a giant bomb that can deal damage worth 100% of your rei to everyone in an unspecified area is insane. In addition to this, the cooldown time on the cloak is somewhere around 24 turns and you write the ability so that you're included in the explosion essentially making this a suicide bomber kai.

Superficial description change:

Shi kai:
Harbinger extends and sprouts a long, slender metal blade from the end of the now long, ivory shaft fashioned of dense bone, the segmentation and hue of it resembling a spine. Opposite the blade is a skull, shaped as a humans, the jaw and set of the eyes suggesting malevolent intent. The overall length of the scythe is five feet in length and the blade extends two feet through its curve.

Ban Kai:
Form
When in its full release, Harbinger elongates the hafts of bone to a total of seven feet, and another, opposite facing blade emerges from the other end of the haft from the first, both reaching 4’ in total length Each has a sinister skull set across from the extending blade.

I'd like to change the attack Ephemeral Dusk to the following:

When one of Harbinger's scythes strikes an opponent, Theron may expend 1% of his reiatsu to start a reaction in the wound that causes it to erupt with indigo flames. That round and for four there after, the wound drains the victim's spiritual pressure, at a rate of 1% of Theron's per turn. This effect does not stack, and only one Ephemeral Dusk may be started on a person at a time.

I'd also like to change Forever Eclipse the following way:

Vizard – Forever Eclipse – 15% reiatsu, 30% rage, 15% emptiness

True to form, Harbinger's final attack in ban kai is both draining and devastating. Arranging at least three total scythes, Theron forms a sort of 'looking pane' between himself and his opponent. Unleashing a cero, the attack travels through the pane and is empowered and hasted by the reiatsu and rage used to generate this attack, further, it drains any reiatsu or rage in the created scythes, adding such to its strength rating and dissolving the weapons as it passes. Traveling through this lens, the cero condenses into a fine line of energy and reorients itself towards the chosen victim, exploding violently when impacting with them.
 

Shikai:

Name: Kerberos

Manifestation: The Kerberos is a giant three headed beastial dog. Even though there are three heads on this beast, they all speak in a deep unison voice as if there was only one head.

Release Command: Annihilate

Released Form: As Rashii speaks the release command he simultaneously splits his sword into two equal halves. As the blades split they begin to wrap around his knuckles down to half around his forearm. The blades began to glow sunbrust orange as they solidify their selves into their final form.

Ability: Rotting Aura
An acidic aura, containing a powerful enzyme capable of deteriorating any ability that impedes Rashii's movement. To put this ability into play, Rashii will have to pay reiatsu equal to 110% of the attack/ability inflicted upon him to completely break free of the hindering ability.

Attack: Sonic Pulse
At the cost of 3% reiatsu, Rashii can enforce the Cestus with an orange sonic aura. He can choose to hit his opponent with a crippling blow strong enough to knock them several feet away or he can produce an orange linear projectile, capable of doing the same.

Vizard Attack: Regurgitate
By paying 5% reiatsu and 5% rage and generating 2.5% emptiness, Rashii can add an effect he was once hindered by with discharging the effect back at his opponent in his next successful attack for better or worse. Example: If he is hit with a debuff valued at 5% from his opponent, Rashii can bestow that same debuff on his opponent, but it would be valued at the full cost of this ability and determined from Rashii's highest combat stat.
 
Note 1: I've been doing a lot of fiddling with the numbers, and honestly, I'm still not 100% happy with them. Especially on the bankai ability 1, it just seems rather high maintenance, but who knows, it might be necessary in order to keep that sort of ability under control. *shrugs* So, if you feel the numbers don't quite match up, or if there's a better way to handle it, feel free to change them as you see fit. I'm not all that attached to the details.

Note 2: The names are in parentheses because I'm not going to pretend I know their corresponding Japanese translations. If anyone with more knowledge of the language than me would be kind enough to supply them, I would be eternally grateful.

Shikai:

(Sun’s Flame)

Form: Masuto’s zanpakutou erupts in flame, reforming itself into an ornate half-crescent wielded one-handed by a handle on its interior. While the release is active--except in the instances described below--flames dance along the blade’s length.

Ability 1: The flames enveloping Masuto’s zanpakutou have heated the blade to such an extent that when the flames are active, any wounds inflicted by the blade are instantly cauterized, and burn damage is done to the area immediately surrounding the wound.

Attack 2: If ranged combat is required, Masuto can consume some of the flames’ power and release it in a shockwave that travels at high speeds in a straight line from the weapon by spending 2% reiatsu per activation. This ability can be used a maximum of 5 times (and a maximum of twice per turn) before the flames disappear and a two turn recharge period is invoked. Speed of the waves is determined by Masuto’s Zanjutsu stat plus half his Hohou.

Vizard: While masked, at a per-turn cost of 2% rage and 1% emptiness, Taiyou no Honoo’s flames become superheated, blue in hue and--for lack of a better term--leak out of the blade, forming a fiery whip attached to the blade proper. The whip can extend a maximum of three meters, and wounds inflicted by the whip receive double the burn damage as in Taiyou no Honoo’s unmasked version. Shockwaves used in this form reduce the maximum length of the whip by one meter each.

Bankai:

(Destruction of the Sun God)

Form: The flames on the shikai blade flare up and the blade reforms to a large ring blade one meter in diameter with four curved protrusions in the cardinal directions. Then the flames extinguish themselves, their energy channeling inward from the protrusions, meeting in the center of the weapon.

Ability 1: The collision of the streams of energy at the center of the ring have created a sort of reiatsu gravity well. As such, Masuto is able to use the well to absorb or weaken energy-based attacks at a cost of 120% the reiatsu initially spent on the attack. Only attacks whose power is valued at less than half of Masuto’s maximum reiatsu may be fully absorbed, and only one such attack may be absorbed per turn. Attacks valued between 50% and 100% of Masuto’s maximum reiatsu have their potency halved, but due to the proximity of the weapon to his body, the remaining half must be taken. Attacks valued higher bypass reduction entirely. Half the energy absorbed is contained in the well until released, and no more than 50% of Masuto’s maximum reiatsu can be contained at any one time.

Ability 2: In addition to absorbing energy-based attacks, Masuto can also manipulate the gravity well to affect physical objects. By spending 3% reiatsu per turn that this ability is active, objects within one meter of the weapon are drawn toward its center, altering the trajectory of physical projectiles and melee attacks alike. Opponents whose combined zanjutsu and hakuda stats are less than Masuto’s zanjutsu stat may become off-balance as a result, while this ability has reduced effect against opponents whose combined zanjutsu and hakuda stats are higher than Masuto’s own combined stats. Only one attack may be redirected in this way per turn.

Attack 1: In order to expel the energy contained in the well entirely, Masuto infuses it with his own reiatsu, making it unstable and causing a directional blast composed of all the energy contained up to that point. Using this ability costs Masuto 5% reiatsu.

Attack 2: By sending energy-based attacks of his own into the gravity well in the center of his bankai, Masuto can infuse them with energy he’s collected. By paying 125% the cost of the ability, he can increase its potency by 50% or half the energy collected in the gravity well, whichever is lower. Energy added to attacks in this way is then depleted from the well.

Vizard: The inclusion of his hollow’s reiatsu causes the core’s instability to be such that the structural integrity of the weapon itself is compromised. As such, when masked, at a per-turn cost of 4% rage and 2% emptiness, Masuto transfers the center of gravity into his left palm as the weapon itself splits into four separate blades connected to the well. The blades can then be used to attack from range, returning to Masuto on the following turn. Attacks using more than one blade result in a cost of 1% rage and emptiness that turn for each additional blade used. The absorption capability of Ability 1 is halved when used the same turn as such a ranged attack.

Shikai
: Ataru "Succeed"

Release Phrase: Unravel, Ataru.


Form: When released, Ataru takes the form of two rolled scrolls, one with a rich red back and the other with a vibrant mint-green. The inside of each is covered with writing that shifts and changes constantly. Mitsuyo can suspend the scrolls in the air at will, and can unroll them in the air around himself, serving to block attacks as if they were his normal zanpakuto. Each scroll can unroll twenty-feet of parchment, about one foot wide.

With a thought, Mitsuyo can retract the scrolls completely.


Manifestation: Due, in all likelihood, to the fact that Mitsuyo has yet to fully mature and is a very whimsical person all around, Ataru's appearance is in constant flux. It will take the form of different creatures, of varying sizes, and of varying colors, without any sort of conscious effort - and often right before Mitsu's eyes when he encounters the zanpakutou spirit in his inner world. The only reoccurring trait it possesses is its personality, which is, in stark contrast to its physical form, very solidly set in stone. Timid, insecure, and yet desperate for acceptance, Ataru reveals quite a few aspects of Mitsu that he would prefer to keep stuffed away (hence the reason he's forever ignoring the spirit's existence). When it does insist on speaking up, though, it's likely for a very good reason.


Inner World: Mitsuyo's inner world tends to reflect his state of mind at the given time - and is, like Ataru's form, never really the same any two times he looks at it. If he's feeling lonely, it may manifest as cold and isolated tundra. If he's upset or angered, it could just as easily shift into an infinite expanse of beach, with a sky blackened by a heavy storm and loud, roiling waves threatening to drown everything out. Every time, there are various subtle symbols of important people, or places, or things, in his life - but (again, probably due to his immaturity) Mitsu usually fails to make the connections.



Ability: Tataru "Cast" - Each scroll is able to store one spell that is cast into it, which can be released from any point in the scroll's writing, either on contact -- similar to Kansei or Fushibi -- or at Mitsuyo's will. The red scroll can store hadou while the green one stores bakudou.

Ability: Iki Wataru "Diffuse" - By spending 5% of his reiatsu, Mitsuyo can very briefly expand the space between the molecules of either himself or one of his own kidou. This would allow a single attack to pass through Mitsuyo harmlessly, or for his own kidou to pass through an obstruction. Using this ability is taxing, though, and the ability must cool down for three rounds before it can be used again.

Ability: Saki Wataru "Bloom" - By paying an additional 25% of the base spell's cost, Mitsuyo can cause a projectile kidou to bloom, exploding outward at the point of impact. The effect has a radius of 1 foot per 500 Kidou, capping at 30 feet with 15,000 Kidou.
 
Name: Space Ratchet

Manifestation: A sake bottle that can talk.

Inner World: Udo’s inner world is a matte black, three-dimensional maze that keeps reconfiguring. Some surfaces function as lights, and other surfaces function as screens, showing what Udo is thinking about. The more troubled he is, the more frequently the maze reconfigures.

Command: Shift, Space Ratchet!

Form: The blade collar morphs into what looks like a fob watch, but the inside is different. Instead of a clock there is a cog surrounded by three smaller cogs, a pawl and four symbols.

Ability: Cut and Paste

By spending 2% of his reiatsu, Udo can empower Space Ratchet to cut out a simple volume of space (e.g. sphere, cube, cylinder, prism) with a maximum side length of 10 feet, reorient it in three-dimensional space as he pleases and paste it into its new orientation. The space cutting cannot cut through anything possessing reiatsu. A person could be turned around, turned upside down, a door flipped inside to out, and so on.
 
Go, Go, Team Bankai!
Name: Kaikinisshoku Kagennotsuki
(Total Solar Eclipse Waning Moon)

Form: Upon activation of his Bankai Seiko’s trident from his shikai breaks in two and turns into two swords, each aproximately 4ft in length. (ref: weapons)

Ability:Upon activating his Bankai, Seiko gains the passive ability of a three hundred sixty degree awareness of everything around him within a ninety foot radius.

Attack: By spending 10% of his reiatsu, and slamming one, or both, of his blades into the ground, Seiko can conjure a dim blue dome made up of his reiatsu, this barrier can be used to shield up to five allies. The barrier itself blocks incoming attacks from all directions.

Attack: By paying 5% of his reiatsu, and slamming his trident face down into the ground a series of spears erupt from the ground to pursue Seiko's foes in a cone-shape form. This attack starts out as a narrow cone, about 3 feet wide at start and every 10 ft it doubles in width, capping at 20 feet in width. The further this attack advances, the more destructive force it will accrue. As such, for every 10 feet this attack travel its strength will grow further by an added 2% of Seiko's reiatsu, capping at 10% (or 50 feet).

Attack: By spending 15% of his reiatsu Seiko can summon a celestial storm, composed of small meteors, asteroids, and stars. Each beam, on impact, covers a ten foot radius effecting all that stand within its radius. This attack starts out with five 5 simultaneous beams that rain down from above. Furthermore, every additional turn gained in bankai, starting at 10k connection, Seiko gains an additional beam of light, which also increases the overall affected area. This caps at a max of ten beams of celestial energy.

Shikai
Shikai Form:
The sword takes the form of an 8 foot trident (without any form of ability active), the two outer-prongs are slightly bend outer-wards, and has a spear-point-like end.
Manifestation:
Kagennotsuki takes on the form of a waning, but usually large, moon. The spirit is wise but overly-proud.
Inner-world:
Seiko's inner-world is a large moon in a vast nothingness of darkness. The moon is also the embodiement of Kaggenotsuki's spirit.
First Ability:
The weapon manifested from Seiko's release takes the form of a two-foot trident. The weapon has the ability to retract and extend at a speed based off his zanjutsu stat. As Seiko gets stronger so does his ability to extend/retract the weapon. Thus, for every 300 points of reiatsu gained, the maximum length of the weapon increases by one foot, capping out at 30ft.

Second Ability:
By paying 1% reiatsu the trident can grow an additional spear, at the same pace as the first ability, on the side of the main blade, capping out at 5 additional spears. The spears can grow onto one another, thus making the form and the way the spear behaves different every time.
 
Name: UNDERTERMINED (Initial Awakening)

Ability 1: Clear Coat
Markus’ body becomes coated in veil that allows all light to pass right through him rather than reflected back, making him invisible to the naked eye, electronic devices – except infrared, as he is unable to stop his body from generating heat. His body and all his possessions are affected by this veil, but keeping the veil up is draining. This ability causes a 1% Rei drain every turn it is up.
(Note: I was a bit unsure of the cost. I didn’t know if Static or Scaling cost would be better. So I went with the higher cost to overcompensate, though if you can think of a Static Value which would be better suited, I’d take a suggestion)

Ability 2: Blinding Ball
Using his control over light rays, Markus is able to concentrate light rays into a small condensed ball that acts like a Flash Grenade. Those who see the blast are temporarily blinded for a few moments; otherwise the ball has no damaging effects. Shielding ones eyes, looking away or special visors are sufficient enough to block the effects of the ball. Clear coat and Blinding Ball can not be used together.
Blinding Ball costs 200 Rei to create; only one can be created at a time and it can not be passed off to others. Blast Radius is 5yd.

愛天使
Aitenshi

[ Spirit ]“Aitenshi”
Aitenshi is an angel. Not one of your pussy-angels, either, no sir. Aitenshi does not sit on clouds and strum harps. Aitenshi is a masculine humanoid robed in blinding light, carrying a flaming sword in his right hand and an open book in his left. He has six wings and with two of those wings he covers his face, with two he covers his feet, and with two he flies. The train of his robe fills the inner world and the flames from his sword are brighter than the sun.

[ Form ]“Shikai”
Aitenshi is a broad-bladed sword with a prominent curve and a decoratively clipped tip. The flat of its blade bears the mark of an illuminated, winding pattern that spans up onto the guard, where it becomes a metallic silvery-copper and adorns the entire hilt from guard to pommel. A small caricature of the spirit is wound into one side of the guard, whereas the other side has a stylized open-book at the same place. Illuminated script appears along the foible of the blade.

[ Ability ]“Aikei”
Aitenshi has the power to heal. At a cost of 10% reiatsu, the lettering and the illuminated pattern will burst into flames that blaze brighter than the sun for 1 turn per 100 reiatsu spent. Anyone touched by the firelight will be healed of any minor wounds instantly, deep wounds over the course of two rounds, and major wounds over the course of three rounds. The healing ability causes pain to its subjects, akin to having their entire body dipped into molten lava. The ability cannot cause hypoperfusion and can be extinguished at any time by the wielder (no spent reiatsu will be regained).
 
Revenge of the forests~

Bankai: Hanoko Tsutadora

Form: Hanoko Tsutadora's karambit grows broader and longer, the blade gaining several serrated notches. Each notch has a cavity in it. Around Katsumi's shoulders, a metal backpack appears. Attached to the back, behind Katsumi's shoulderblades, are a pair of large, green-tinted mantis arms that appear wooden but are as sharp and durable as steel. The blades unfold to reveal similarly serrated blades as the one in Katsumi's hand, each arm reaching over six feet fully extended.

[Ability: Kougousei]

Katsumi can now sow up to ten seeds in one turn from his karambit or mantis blades. The seeds can also be planted into an open wound. Five seeds cost 1% of Katsumi's reiatsu. The following round, each seed sprouts a broad, vibrant flower, stretching over a foot in diameter.

These flowers absorb reiatsu equal to 1% of Katsumi's reiatsu from anyone (except Katsumi) in a radius of five feet per turn. Furthermore, they absorb reiatsu that touches them directly, whether it's from Katsumi or an enemy ability. This reiatsu is used to make the plants grow into one of three forms; once they begin to grow, they can no longer absorb attacks.



[Attack: Shikyo no Toge]

When the plant has absorbed at least 1% of Katsumi's reiatsu, to a maximum of 15%, it can grow a myriad of thorny vines. Thick and covered in abrasive bark, these vibrant green tendrils can reach up to fifteen feet, according to Katsumi's will. These vines will last for one round per 250 reiatsu absorbed. They can be manipulated, but the accuracy of manipulation is based on Katsumi's hakuda stat.


[Attack: Audrey II (a.k.a. Oukii Kuchi)]

A vicious flytrap can be grown from at least 5% to 20% reiatsu . This trap has a maw that spans three feet in diameter and snaps closed with enough force to penetrate most bones. These jaws release acid to try to digest their prey. These traps last for one round per 500 reiatsu absorbed.


[Attack: Ryokushoku Heijin]

A tuft of serrated, bladed leaves bursts forth. Razor sharp, each leaf is two or three feet long, and a foot wide. This bushy plant requires 2% to 17% reiatsu and sprouts one bladed leaf per 100 reiatsu absorbed.

Initial Awakening: Reality Eyes

Description: In the same way that a photo can seem vastly different based upon how in focus it is, Herbert's ability changes how the world around him is perceived.

Focus Eyes: Herbert's pupils become like targetting recticles, and the world he sees around him becomes much sharper, clearer and, dare it be said, real. He can more clearly see his opponents movements in battle by detecting the slightest movement of muscle and clothing. Shooting becomes much more efficient, as weak points are more easily detected and targets paths of motion observed.

By expending 3% of his reiatsu per turn it is in effect, Herbert can increase his combat stat by 10% of its base value.

Distortion Eyes: Herbert's eyes cloud over and almost all colour drains out of them. The world around him becomes blurry and thick, as if reality itself were distorting around him.

At the cost of 5% of his reiatsu per turn it is in effect, and a combat stat reduction of a solid 5% (representing the altered vision) while in use, Herbert can create a distortion field around him.

The field extends to a radius ten feet around Herbert, with an increase in 5 feet per additional 1k of harmony to said radius.

Within the field, all characters bar Herbert (he can move freely through his own reiatsu) recieve a reduction to their agility/hohou stat of 5% of Herbert's harmony. All motion of projectiles within the field is reduced by half while it is active.

Important Note: These abilities cannot be used at the same time.

All right, it's probably ridiculously overpowered and I reckon the parameters need badly fixed. Probably could've been solved in chat but I can't go on so yeah. Lay into it hah
 
Soo... after months spent toiling as I tried to think of a bankai, I asked Will for help, and two hours later, I have an idea that I love. Dearest William is amazing for coming up with 90% of this. I <3 him a lot a lot a lot.

Kisaki Kerushi no Arashi
(Storm of the Empress Kerushi)
女帝の激怒


Manifestation/Inner World:

Through the attainment of bankai, Kerushi has evolved from warrior princess to an empress of war. Garbed in white, regal armor, she stands in the center of the battlefield with an ever-changing sky, reflective of Lilith's emotions.


Form:


As Lilith summons Bankai, the area around her, within a thirty-yard radius, becomes her domain. Within this domain, the air is filled with fenghuo lun, their shape determined by the current emotion. The weapons are immaterial until taken in hand by Lilith herself. Kerushi's armor covers Lilith's body, their intricate designs moving with the sway of emotions.


Ability: Kuppuku Kuiki no Munesanzun (Submit to the Realm of Emotions)

Through centuries spent toiling to convey her feelings through art, Lilith has gained supremacy in the realm of emotions -- including the emotions of her opponents. Her mastery has only grown with the realization of her Bankai.

Each round, Lilith chooses one emotion: anger, love, sadness, or fear. The surrounding environment changes with each emotion and all those within Kerushi's domain will be influenced by the chosen emotion. They will begin to experience illusions embodying each emotion and in their mind, Lilith will embody the person or thing that is most representative of that feeling.

In the heat of Anger, the sky turns a fiery red and is filled with ash-black clouds streaking through the air. The fenghuo lun are shaped like flames, with red handles and ruby edges. The air is hot and dry, the ground is barren and blackened.

With Sadness the sky is overrun with heavy clouds pouring out their sorrows. All of the world appears a dark blue-grey. Lilith's fenghuo lun are shaped as teardrops, with handles of blue and sapphire blades.

Where Fear has taken hold, mist obscures sight and sound. Overhead, the skies are dark as pitch. The fenghuo lun that hang in the air are like clots of dark brambles: their handles are black, their blades of ebony.

When Love takes the fore, flowers spring up underfoot and the skies take on a bright blue hue. The fenghuo lun in the sky are shaped like hearts, with pink handles and rubellite edges. Gentle but insistent winds continually push and pull people closer to each other.

Those who Lilith has grown close or accustomed to, enough to attain United Front, may be excluded from the effects of her ability. If she so chooses, Lilith may forego tampering with emotions altogether, instead choosing Trust: in Kerushi, in her friends, in herself. In this state, the world seems brighter but is otherwise unchanged and her fenghuo lun have golden, white-wrapped handles with diamond edges.


Attack 1: Koutai Goshujin Ryoku (Exchange Your Strength)

The chosen emotion is built up, gathered together into a critical mass, imbued with kidou energy. Once Lilith releases it, the emotional energy spreads outward in a rush, filling Kerushi's domain. Everyone within the area is affected dramatically by the emotion, and Lilith may manipulate it to shift the power of the enemy's stat, equivalent to 50% of Lilith's highest stat, into any one of their other stats. This attack costs 10% reiatsu and is usable only once per battle.

Due to the nature of kidou and its slot-based system, this stat shift cannot apply power from the alternative stats into kidou. However, kidou can still be abstracted and appended elsewhere.


Attack 2: Haji Waga Te (Grip My Hands)

By paying 5% reiatsu, Lilith can overwhelm one opponent with the active emotion, preventing them from either attacking (Love, Fear) or defending (Anger, Sadness) for one turn. This is purely meant to prevent direct attacks or defenses; the opponent may choose to use the inverse or dodge instead. This attack is only usable once per three rounds.


Attack 3: Zuisho Yori (From Everywhere)

Using the floating fenghuo lun as markers, Lilith can use them as areas of origin for kidou. In order to activate them for the attack, Lilith must physically touch them. By expending 300 reiatsu per spell, the kidou will emerge from any of the activated fenghuo lun as if it were her own hands.

Name: Rai Den


Manifestation: Since the shikai is compose of two blades, so is the manifestation composed of two spirits. Rai is a lithe man in a white version of the shinigami robes. He does not, however, wear any form of foot covering. Den is a lithe woman in completely black shinigami robes. She also wears no foot covering. Both have eyes as blue as the sky, pale skin, and blond hair. Rai keeps his hair short, and Den keeps hers long.

Command

Form: The single blade becomes two assassins daggers, with the edge on the inside of the curve. They both have a feather etched into the actual blade and do not have the guard most zanpakutou possess. They are both about a foot in length. The hilt is wrapped in white cloth.

Aerial Blade


The user is able to fire a compressed disc of wind that spins at about three hundred revolutions per minute. It is a penetrative attack that exploits weaknesses in the targets defense. If there is no defense then it's cutting power can let it sheer through the target. It will not work as well on a barrier as they have no weaknesses or gaps to exploit. It costs 6% per disc. The blade is flat, and is one foot in diameter. It has a range of 30 meters before it completely dissipates.

Aerobatics


A ability that triggers the second shikai is released. The user is surrounded by a area of lighter air, about one and a half meters in diameter, letting him move faster, and with less effort. Kane is unaffected by the lighter air save for the boost to his speed. All others in it’s area are affected by lighter levels of air resistance and oxygen. This ability does not cost any reiatsu.

[ Spiritual Manifestation ]

There is an endless ocean of lurid waters within Sanji's spirit. The empyrean sky reflects an inverse ocean like a mirror.

Alone in the middle of the watery infinity, resides a devastated ruin of what resembles to have been an old Shintoist temple. Within the ruin's inner sanctum, resides a perfectly rectangular cistern of deep dark waters. There is where the spirit dwells. He was never seen, still, his presence and thoughts can be felt all over the place.

At first, Sanji believed the spirit to be a group of several entities for, in the occasions they made contact, a different being seemed to speak. Sometimes it was an elderly man, sometimes a youngster or even a child. With time, as their connection grew deeper, Sanji understood that Kojizumi's spirit was not a collective but rather a single entity, existing in a vertiginous cycle of death and rebirth.

Despite the ever changing phase of life the spirit goes through, his behavior and persona never changes. Kojizumi is extremely wise and speaks with very few words, expressing his thoughts very clearly. The spirit addresses the enough concern to Sanji, showing the way through dead ends. They don't always agree, but Kojizumi has clever ways of imposing his will.


[ Released Form ]

After the command, the entire zanpakutou starts to shimmer, releasing a flamboyant tourbillion of shining water that flows, dancing around Sanji and the blade. After the luminous tide is released, the katana keeps glowing and the water keeps constantly flowing in from the blade as needed, being controlled by Sanji's movement and mental will. The amount of water that flows simultaneously increases along with the bond between Sanji and Kojizumi.

Tsuyubare
"Sunny spell during rainy season"

Swirling and dancing around the zanpakutou wielder, the luminous water that flows from Kojizumi is controlled by Sanji's will. The tidal surge can follow any course, changing shape, whirling, pushing, diving, veiling, pestering, creating watery surfaces and shapes. Tsuyubare is the ability to do it.

This a constant ability and has no cost, being a natural, almost unconscious, ability which Sanji found inside his spirit, just like the ability to breathe. However, the radius of influence inside which Sanji can control Kojizumi's water is 5 yards per each 1,000 connection, maxing at 30 yards. If the water overflows outside Tsuyubare's radius, it will scatter and disappear and the radius will accompany him when he moves.


Reisui
"Miraculous Tide"

Reisui is the core of Kojizumi's release, being it a healing type one. It works with the simple law of mutual retribution, performing regeneration in exchange of energy, in that case, reiatsu.

The lurid water that flows and swirls from Kojizumi's blade, flowing around Tsuyubare's radius, is the one to perform the regeneration when in contact with a target's organism. As the tide flow creates a swirling and luminous watery area of influence around Sanji, Reisui does not choose from ally to foe to perform the healing. The cost of Reisui is 500 reiatsu per round.

Being so, everyone inside Tsuyubare's radius will receive the benefit from Reisui. They will see their wounds regenerating spontaneously, giving great advantage on the battlefield. It is more effective on Sanji's self regeneration.

With the normal use of Reisui…

low level injuries such as superficial wounds, bruises, external bleedings, and shallow cuts will heal instantly.

medium level injuries such as deep cuts and perforations on non vital areas, simple internal bleedings, fractures in smaller limbs, middle level internal injury, poisoning, harsh concussions and traumas will normally take 3 turns to regenerate.

high level injuries such as deep, brutal cuts and perforations in vital areas, complicated hemorrhages, smaller limbs amputations, high level venom, violent cranial traumas, and wounds in vital organs will take 5 turns to regenerate.

On Sanji's self regeneration the number of turns taken to heal is reduced by 1 turn.


Suiren
"
Water Lily"

As Reisui is considered to be the core of Kojizumi's healing power, Suiren can be extension of the spontaneous regeneration.

With Suiren, Sanji can spend an amount of his own reiatsu to focus Kojizumi's power into a target and speed up the regeneration of a single injury to 1 single turn. Whenever the ability is used, a white luminous water lily will bloom above the enhanced healing site on the target's body.

Being so…

… to speed up the regeneration time of a medium level injury Sanji must spend 250 reiatsu.

… to speed up the regeneration time of a high level injury Sanji must spend 500 reiatsu.

The number of simultaneous wounds to receive Suiren is connection/1000.

Moirin Valterra

True Awakening Release: Blood Sport

During her initial release, Moirin needed to use her own blood to attack with. In her True Awakened state, she is able to use her own, as well as her opponents blood as weapons. Moirin’s body holds 5.5 litres of blood; she can use half that amount before her combat ability begins to be effected. In total she can lose ¾ of her body’s blood before she passes out. However if her opponent is bleeding, there is no limit to the amount of blood she can control at a given time.

Ability 1: Creationism
Moirin can use her blood for an assortment of practical uses. Using drops she can use them as explosive bullets which can be used in her customized handgun. She can create throwing knives, swords, axes, spears... anything as long as enough blood is available to her. However if only her own blood is being used she is limited to smaller types of weapons.

Ability 2: Tough as Nails
Because Moirin as such control of her blood, she is able to use it to heal faster than normal. Defensively she can also harden her blood in certain parts of her body for limited amount of time during a fight (2 seconds for every 1k reiatsu) to prevent serious injury. Her hardened blood can stop a blade’s attack which is ¾ or less her own combat skill. Anything more will break her defence, and will harm her only in the difference of their combat skills and not the full effect of the blow. After being used, Moirin will need two turns to be able to use this ability again.

Ability 3: Force Drain
Requires her opponent to be bleeding. By laying her hands on her opponent, Moirin can forcefully drain her opponent’s blood faster than normal bleeding. Loss of blood makes her opponent experience a wave of dizziness before losing 10% of their reiatsu for every turn her hands remain on them. This however can only be accomplished a max of 5 times per fight.
 
Frant: Approved w/ suggestion I wasn’t able to catch you so far after you subbed this so I couldn’t tell you this upfront. I strongly suggest removing the payment for the stat boost in the first ability and drop the reduction of combat in the second ability as well as make the cost 5% for like three turns. If you want to resubmit your kai this week I’ll let you make these changes without a spec point. However if you want to RP with these challenges feel free to do so.

Zeri: Resubmit. First ability is fine, however the conditional weakness makes it appear as though you want it to have a flat cost rather than scale. Feel free the change the cost and get rid of that awkward sentence regarding defense and barriers it’s a basic projectile creation attack no need to make it confusing. The second ability, as it stands, does nothing except flavor text. I’m assuming this was meant to be a hohou boost for yourself or a split zan/hak and hohou boost due to the lighter resistance? Feel free to drop me an IM or PM so we can go over this and you have something that you like.

Manifestation: Since the shikai is compose of two blades, so is the manifestation composed of two spirits. Rai is a lithe man in a white version of the shinigami robes. He does not, however, wear any form of foot covering. Den is a lithe woman in completely black shinigami robes. She also wears no foot covering. Both have eyes as blue as the sky, pale skin, and blond hair. Rai keeps his hair short, and Den keeps hers long.

Wind Dancer

This ability activates along with his shikai. It allows him to move more gracefully, and quickly. His skill with his weapons is granted an increase as well. Hak +5% and Hou +5%

Initial Awakening: Eyes of Reality

Description: In the same way that a photo can seem vastly different based upon how in focus it is, Herbert's ability changes how the world around him is perceived.

Focus Eyes: Herbert's pupils become like targetting recticles, and the world he sees around him becomes much sharper, clearer and, dare it be said, real. He can more clearly see his opponents movements in battle by detecting the slightest movement of muscle and clothing. Shooting becomes much more efficient, as weak points are more easily detected and targets paths of motion observed.

With this ability active, Herbert can increase his combat stat by 10% of its base value.

Distortion Eyes: Herbert's eyes cloud over and almost all colour drains out of them. The world around him becomes blurry and thick, as if reality itself were distorting around him.

At the cost of 5% of his reiatsu Herbert can create a distortion field around him for three turns.

The field extends to a radius ten feet around Herbert, with an increase in 5 feet per additional 1k of harmony to said radius.

Within the field, all characters bar Herbert (he can move freely through his own reiatsu) recieve a reduction to their agility/hohou stat of 5% of Herbert's harmony. All motion of projectiles within the field is reduced by half while it is active.

Important Note: These abilities cannot be used at the same time.
