Release Submission Thread

Name: Shoul, the Harbringer of Fear.

Manifestation: Shoul takes the form of a floating specter cloaked in a ragged black cloak. While faceless, the only thing seen is two green fiery orbs representing his eyes. His voice is hollow, and cold which he never hesitates to use to give his dark, ghastly opinions on Lucas' choices and the situations he finds himself in. Blackened, charred skeletal arms and hands reach out from the ever flowing black cloak, while Shoul appears to have no feet.

Form: Lucas' body and features and encased in solid black body suit that is always cold to the touch. Just like Shoul himself, Lucas' eyes are set ablaze with green fire. His speech, vision, hearing and breathing seem to be unhindered in the slightest. Both of his arms from the shoulders down to the hands erupt in black, cold fire. While his new form appears to have no weapons, fools who believe that are caught off guard when a pair of katars emerge from the tops of his forearms extending over his hands several inches and combining at the tip. The edges of the blades glow the same green color as his eyes, creating razor sharp edges with the ability to vibrate at high speeds to rip and tear through things it comes into contact with.

Ability: "Growing Terror” Being the Harbringer of Fear, Shoul is capable of instilling fear into the most stalwart and stout people around.Weakening their resolve and desire to fight as the onslaught continues. Each and every attack used by Lucas is capable of creating fear within his target. While the fear is pretty basic in terms of intensity at the start, it can quickly grow to a crippling fear causing the attacks and defense of those afflicted to become weakened and broken.

Every time an attack lands on an opponent Lucas can pay 2% reiatsu to cause the target to afflicted with one level of fear. These levels can grow up to a maximum of five, while having a single stack of fear a person might find themselves feeling a bit uneasy and nervous at what is to come. Each subsequent stack intensifies the fear causing a person to begin to tremble and shake and become a bit more hesitant to take action. Upon reaching its fifth stack, a person begins to suffer from full blown terror.

While fear is effected by the force of will of the afflicted, it is possible to overcome their fears. By paying 4% of Lucas’ reiatsu, an afflicted person is able to reduce the number of stacks upon them by one, no more than two stacks per turn can be overcome in this fashion. After two turns since the last application of fear, the stacks will begin to naturally decay by one stack per turn.

Attack: "Army of the Damned” The ghouls which roam the shadowed world in which Shoul resides are terrifying creatures who are always at his beck and call. By paying 5% reiatsu Lucas is able to cause an afflicted opponent to perceive him as one of the hideous monsters. As a side effect, for each stack of fear on the target at the moment this attack takes effect, an additional ghoul image is summoned nearby. Additionally, once the ghouls are summoned Lucas can immediately switch places with one of the ghouls to shuffle his position causing more confusion, he can only do this once and it must be done when the ghouls are summoned. These ghouls act, sound and move just as Lucas can, but however they are not real. Any attempt to perceive which ghoul is the real Lucas is rendered useless, and any attack hitting a ghoul image causes it to dissipate harmlessly.

Attack: "Paralyzing Fear” The control Shoul has over fear is so great, that he is able to cause the strength to intensify rapidly shutting down a persons will to speak. Upon paying 5% reiatsu and landing an attack, Lucas is able to utilize that control over fear and immobilize a person’s vocal chords. For one round that person is unable to form any words, making any action that requires verbal components impossible. This effect is increased by one round for every two levels of fear upon the afflicted after the first level. The ability to immobilize the vocal chords takes a great amount of effort and as such, this can only be used on an opponent once every four rounds.

Attack: "Blackened Vision” Instead of creating shadows for which to attack foes from like someone might think he would do, Shoul has learned a new way to bring about the darkness and has given this new skill to Lucas. Upon landing an attack and paying 7% reiatsu, an afflicted opponent finds that their vision is reduced drastically leaving them with a 15ft radius centered on them of clear vision, everything beyond that is pure darkness, and no amount of light can penetrate it. As a secondary effect, the radius of which a person can see is reduced further by 2ft for every level of fear they’re afflicted with. This effect will last for 2 turns.

 
Manifestation: Gakuryoku’s world is a place thrived on the mind, where Hisao’s lack of physical abilities don’t matter, an infinite library. The shelves and rows of books seem to go on forever tended to by an army of small shadows. Gakuryoku himself is a Kitsune, dull grey and as old as his master. He wears a scholar’s robe with an old cloth wrapped around his eyes. When annoyed, or to point out a specific point, Gakuryoku is able to transform his shape into a human, strikingly similar to Hisao himself. The spirit will speak plainly and tends to point out the side of an argument that its master likes to ignore.

Shikai: Gakuryoku (Scholarship)


Form: Hisao’s usual cane is replaced by a much more intricate weapon. The top of the newly formed four foot staff is crowned with what appears to be a large dream catcher with a gem inset. Branching off from the circle are what looks like tree branches with tags attached inscribed in the arcane runes seen on his sealed can. Just below this is a smaller duplicate of the larger dream catcher and branch structures. As Hisao drains more reiatsu, the gem begins to glow green. With the light getting bigger and brighter as more reiatsu is siphoned.

Ability: Kyokukan(Siphon)

The single ability of Hisao’s zanpakutou is constantly active. The old’s man reliance on kidou to defend himself has caused his weapon to be able to draw off energy from the very demon arts its master is so dependent upon. Whenever a kidou, cero, gintou, or release ability is used within 15m of Hisao 10% of the reiatsu cost of the ability is stored within Gakuryoku. This energy can only be used for the sole purpose of casting more spells and does not take away from the actual damage of the ability used. The total amount of stored reiatsu in Gakuryoku cannot exceed more than 50% of Hisao’s kidou stat and is always drained first when a spell is cast.
 
I'm not in TA range yet, though I should be by the end of this week or next, but due to the nature of this kai shade said I could submit both. Tarot summons are back.

Summon Notes:
-Because AH system is a lot different than shini system for summons, the normal rules have to be changed.
- For shini you sacrifice your Bankai ability to summon, obviously AHs don't have that, so I thought that maybe instead sacrificing your Resonance Ability is a good trade off to automatically enter TA and summon.
- In shini, each ability slot can either hold 1 TA level ability for your summon to use or 2 IA abilities for you summon to use like shini.
- AHs wouldn't pay an upfront cost on summoning like shini do because they already have to pay roughly 12% of their rei even to get the chance to summon, instead they'd just get rei added depending on their resonance when activating it to make their summons still on par with shini.
- You still get and Overdrive usable at 100% resonance. Maybe people could find alternatives like a super powerful ability your summon can equip for not having an Overdrive?

:: Anima Mundi - Initial Awakening ::

Form:

Oddly enough, there is little to no change when Ciro activates his Initial Awakening. Other than the occasional spark of reiatsu behind him and permanent red glow of his eyes, there he retains the same appearance.​


Thelema - 0% Resonance:

Those caught within Ciro’s gaze instantly become nothing more than a pawn to him. Locking eyes with the Advent allows him to gaze deep within his target, allowing him to flip through their memories as if they were nothing more than a storybook to him.

By paying 100 reiatsu, Ciro can read a memory of his choice. He can choose the parameters of the memory he chooses, allowing him to select from a wide-range of emotions. The moment Ciro reads the memory, the target experiences intense flashbacks of the moment.​

Rose Croix - 0% Resonance:

While not resonating to the point of complete materialization, Ciro still retains the ability to materialize the ephemeral being in his cards for a moment. Upon activation, Ciro selects a card from his deck which continuously starts to levitate around him. He can control the motion of the card in a 20 meter radius around him.

By paying 1% of his reiatsu, he can materialize a limb from the card, allowing to hold any weapon of his choice. The skill with the weapon is based off Ciro’s combat stat. He can control up to 1 card per every 10,000 reiatsu he has and while active the cards gain a durability equal to other zanpakuto weapons. Controlling multiple cards follow multiple weapons rules.​


Hermes Trismegistus - 25% Resonance:

Upon reaching this high level of synchronization, Ciro has reached a level where he is able to create an intelligence of his own. Doing such allows him to fully manifest a being from one of the Tarot cards he owns.

When activating Hermes Trismegistus, 20% of Ciro's base reiatsu gets distributed among its stats. Next, Ciro distributes the reiatsu bonus gained from True Awakening directly to the summon’s reiatsu. Furthermore, the summon gains reiatsu equal to the reiatsu equivalent to the amount of resonance he has when activating this ability which is also distributed to the reiatsu of the construct and is split between the stats as well. The distribution of reiatsu between stats can be altered depending on the stat spread he selects.

Upon summoning, Ciro can provide the summon with a weapon of his choice. The summon’s skill with the weapon is based on its combat stat. When summoning, the construct can select any two of the Initial Awakening level abilities. Ciro summons two summons at once, the total amount of reiatsu and amount distributed to stats is divided between the two.​


:: Spiritus Mundi - True Awakening ::
Form:

When entering his True Awakening, Ciro’s reiatsu seeps out into the area around him. The overwhelming crimson reiatsu winds and permeates into every structure. Sparks of reiatsu are more frequent and an entire feeling of unease sets in.

Ciro’s summons set in well with his overall aura of mystery an deceit. When Ciro begins to summon, a tarot card of his choice floats in front of him. An ephemeral form, reminiscent of a ghast or demon crawls out of the card. The figure’s form differs depending on the card he summons, but in all cases it is permanently in gray-scale. A silver cloth wraps around the eyes of the construct with the name of the card etched into the cloth in a golden font.

Thing strings of reiatsu connect Ciro’s hands to the form at various points of the summon causing it to appear as if the construct is one of his puppets.

Rider-Waite - Initial Awakening Level:

Oddly enough, this ability quickly sums up the entirety of Ciro’s thought process. The only one he can truly trust is himself. This allowed him to take the skill of Bait and Switch and amplify it to the point of complete mastery. By having the summon and himself pay 2% of their reiatsu, the two beings will instantly swap places. Unlike normal Bait and Switch, this motion is not completely physical, but acts as a complete warp, allowing him to phase through any physical constructs in between him and the summon. The maximum distance the two beings can swap is 15 meters.​


Marseilles - Initial Awakening Level:

Being part of a single collective psyche, in a way you could say Ciro and his summon are the same person. This concept of a shared mind is abused on their activation of this ability. By paying the respective person or construct paying 1% of their reiatsu per turn, they can change their form to mimic the other. Upon activation, their reiatsu signatures are shifted to match the others. Any abilities the original had is retained. This change is fully physical making it extremely hard to detect by reiatsu based sensors. When this ability is activated, the threads that connect Ciro to his summon disappear.​


Thoth - Initial Awakening Level:

Ciro retains the ability to control memories even in this hyper-aggressive state. Upon physical contact with the enemy, the summon can drain a memory from the target and store it in itself. By paying 2% of its reiatsu, it can transform it’s appearance into a being from the target’s past. As memories are continuously collected, the transformation becomes more accurate. At that point, Ciro can transmit thoughts and speak through the summon who will instantly mimic the copied person’s voice. If the copied person is of a different race, the reiatsu signature of the summon will change to manipulate the new race. When this ability is activated, the threads that connect Ciro to his summon disappear. A summon can store multiple memories.​


Visconti-Sforza - Initial Awakening Level:

The only true -attack- the summon can preform, even this ability has more uses that is initially seen. By paying 10% of its reiatsu, the summon launches an extremely large burst of reiatsu into the area around it. Any projectiles will find their paths warped into different direction, or even back at the user. Targets caught within the blast are knocked back due to the sheer force. Used most often as a defensive ability, the defensive ability of the construct dictates its control over the blast. They are knocked back 5 meters per 1000 Fortitude the summon has.​


Overdrive: Celtic Cross Spread - 100% Resonance

Reaching this level of synchronization is rare; however, when the point is reached, the effects are awe-inspiring. When activating his Overdrive ability, he can temporarily summon additional puppets to command. Each has the speed of a normal clones, and a combat stat equal to half of Ciro’s.

He summon one additional puppet per ever 5,000 reiatsu he has. For that turn, he can control each one without multiple weapons rules coming into affect. At the end of the turn, all the additional puppets disappear.​

[ Kyoukan Kyoukou :: Assassin's Consternation ]
[ First Stage Awakening :: Arano ]

As an agent of Cerberus, Arano is well acquainted with back-door policies and confidentiality. However, it is through his underlying desire to see these secrets brought to attention (or at least, his attention) that Kyoukan Kyoukou is manifested. Upon release, Kyoukou manipulates and shapes Arano's own shadow, absorbing it before it is reshaped and given tangible form in the shape of a lengthy scarf wrapped about Arano's neck.

[ Kageha-Ryuudou :: Shadow Flower Flow] – 0% Resonance
By reshaping and forming the scarf of shadows about his neck, Arano can bend what is essentially his own shadow to his will, allowing it to stretch out at his command for up to 10m. Though the Kageha-Haji is not capable of direct damage, should the extended shadow touch any shadow other than its own, that shadow is immediately placed under the jurisdiction of Arano and by proxy, all abilities of Kyoukou. Once possessed, a shadow remains under Arano's control for three rounds before becoming neutral once more.

[ Kageha-Gentai :: Shadow Flower Ebb ] – 0% Resonance
A testament of Arano's ability to blend with his surroundings, he has become somewhat capable of submerging his form into shadows that come under his dominion by utilizing the Kageha-Gentai. By paying 200 reiatsu, Arano may transport himself from one shadow to another, essentially teleporting himself. While teleporting, his reiatsu signature wavers and becomes insubstantial, making his destination unclear to all but him. He may only utilize this ability with shadows within 20m of himself, with him capable of using the technique once per turn, increasing by another use per 4000 Agility he has.

[ Kyoushin: Kageha-Nami :: Resonance: Shadow Flower Wave ] – 25% Resonance
Once Arano has reached a certain point with his Awakening, his control over shadows intensifies into allowing the normally insubstantial substance physical shape and form. Upon reaching 25% Resonance, Arano's Awakening Manifestation passively gains physical substance.

[ Kyouka-nin Shinnin :: Mirror Flower Human Credence ]
[ True Awakening :: Arano ]

Accustomed to his powers as an Advent Human, Arano has since tested them to their breaking point. In his quest to see the limits of the unknown quantity that granted him his abilities, Arano unknowingly triggered the reaction within his Awakening to manifest it into its final form. The Kyoukan Shinnin cultivates everything that his previous abilities wanted: subterfuge.

As Kyouka-nin Shinnin is released, Arano's own shadow is manipulated and shaped into a shadowy scarf. However, additionally the intangible garment winds itself down Arano's body, around his arms and legs and tying itself into a mess of almost velvet-like cloth around his torso. As the transformation completes, thin white emissions at the edges of the 'cloth' define its edges.

[ Kyouka-Heisui :: Mirror Flower Calm Water ] - 50% Resonance
A more potent way to gain power over surrounding shadows, Kyouka-Heisui allows Arano to manifest anywhere between one and five separate tendrils of shadow from any pre-existing shadows he controls. These tendrils may travel for up to 30m away from himself, and fall under the multi-weapon rules for controlling them. Upon coming in contact with any given shadow or source of darkness, the tendril places it under Arano's control for the next five rounds, allowing him to use that shadow with any given ability used with Kyoukan Shinnin.

[ Kyouka-Gyakuryuu :: Mirror Flower Riptide ] - 50% Resonance
Providing a more recyclable method of transportation, Arano is capable of ripping open doorways through shadows which he or anything he wishes to pass through by paying 3% of his reiatsu. These doorways travel directly through shadows, requiring both to be under Arano's control and to be within 45m of each other. Once open, a doorway cannot be repurposed in its destination without repaying the cost of creating a doorway. Any reiatsu-based attacks which pass through a doorway must have reiatsu lesser to that of the door, otherwise the doorway is disrupted and deactivated. Up to three doorways may be created at any single time.

Overdrive: [ Kyoukase :: Mirror Flower Torrent ] - 100% Resonance
As Arano reaches his Overdrive state, his own Awakening undergoes physical changes whilst in this state. The shadowy garments he's clad in become more concrete, forming into a solid black carapace from which numerous shadowy scarves protrude out the back of.

Shedding the entirety of his reiatsu-laden Awakening, activating his Overdrive causes the shadowy garment to explode outwards into a solid dome of darkness covering 45m. This dome lingers for three rounds after being created, its overall radius decreasing by 15m every round before it vanishes entirely. This dome is considered to be permanently under Arano's control, incapable of being wrestled from his control or being removed save by its own inherent time limit. It is fully compatible with all of his other abilities concerning shadows.

~Name: Marishiten | Length: 93 cm | Width: 2 cm | Handle: 12 cm~​

Sealed: A gorgeous blade wrapped in a swath of cerulean silk for a sheath; when swung, the sword appears as though a waterfall with cascading waves crashing infinitely upon each other until it is held still. The handle is long enough to have two hands grip comfortably, but the sword is light enough to be swung with just one hand. The hilt is silver in color and seemingly made of wire rather than a solid band of metal; despite its construction, it is as durable as any other guard. The blade itself is etched as though someone had splashed some sort of corrosive agent upon the silvery surface, giving it the real appearance of white ocean waves all along its length. It possesses only one edge. This zanpakutou is worn at the side or, occasionally, the back.

Manifestation: A towering golden statue with four pairs of arms, and three faces that is usually disguised as a sleeping woman.

Shikai: 唵摩利支依梭哈. (Trans. Om Maricyai Mam Svaha) (Pronounced: Onmarutsemansoha)

There is no associated form-change, except that the white-wash upon the blade turns gold, giving the appearance of golden ocean crests when swung. A gold aura surrounds the sword.

Abilities: Marishiten’s abilities are dependent on how its shikai is released.

[Emptiness] – This ability is unlocked when Marishiten is released while the user’s completely at peace through the verbal command ‘唵.’ ( Pronounced ‘Om.’) Marishiten releases energy and compresses it around the user’s body, creating a golden aura suffusing the user’s physical outline and pupils. With [Emptiness] active, the user’s physical abilities are heavily augmented, resulting in increased speed, physical strength, and reflexes. Disrupting the user’s mental state with too much mental noise- for example, through emotional trauma, will automatically shut [Emptiness] off; the user must then regain mental calm and reactivate [Emptiness] through the ‘Om’ command.

StatisticsThis ability consists of an active boost to Hohou and the user's primary attacking statistic (Zanjutsu or Hakuda) of 10% at the upkeep cost of 2%Reiatsu per Turn.

[Providence] – This ability is unlocked when the user recites the release command to completion. The complete mantra allows Marishiten to unlock its true shikai power; divine providence. At any point in time, the user is capable of becoming completely invulnerable to all damage with [Providence]. However, such a divine intervention costs an immense ability of spiritual power and is not generally sustainable.

Statistics: At any point of time, so long as [Emptiness] is active, the user can activate [Providence] to become immune to damage for a brief instant lasting approximately 1 second. This ability cannot be used again until the sword is resealed and re-released. This ability cannot be used if [Emptiness] is not active.

Upon an attack which the user chooses to use [Providence] on, the user pays X% reiatsu to prevent damage equal to (X%+10%). The user must pay the amount of reiatsu equal to the amount of damage he or she would take, nothing more or less.

25% res is too early for a summon, it needs to be at 50% res. Remember, the durability of a summon is given by the cost paid to summon it, so the summon needs a cost.

Upon further thought, even with regen and whatnot, there's no way that I can personally tell to make a summon cost effective without having it constantly overshadowed by a Bankai summon. So, idea scrapped, here's my old kai with like 2 new abilities lol.

:: Initial Awakening - Anima Mundi ::​


Form:

Ciro’s Initial Awakening form is much more mundane that most Advents. For all intents and purposes, there is no change in his appearance. The only change in the constant seeping of his crimson reiatsu into the area around him. Occasionally, a small spark of reiatsu will occur around him, before fading.​

Rider-Waite - 0% Resonance:

Those caught within Ciro’s gaze instantly become nothing more than a pawn to him. Locking eyes with the Advent allows him to gaze deep within his target, allowing him to flip through their memories as if they were nothing more than a storybook to him.

Marseilles - 0% Resonance:

By paying 4% of his reiatsu, Ciro is able to materialize an object from the memory he has read. The size of the object is limited. At most, it can occupy cube of dimensions 6 meters in length, width and height. The objects he materialize retain all mechanical properties. If her chooses to materialize a weapon, it will have none of the special abilities the original had. If he chooses to materialize a projectile weapon, each shot fired by the weapon carries 50% of its durability (the amount initially paid in) in each shot.​

Visconti-Sforza- 25% Resonance:

Selective materialization is the first step; however, resonating with his powers gives him more control, granting the him not only the ability to mimic, but create. By paying 5% of his reiatsu, Ciro is able to create a fixed amount of mass, giving it whatever chemical property he wishes. He can create a fixed 500 lbs of mass. For example, he could activate the ability to summon a 500 lbs block of graphite or summon a block of diamond. He cannot summon spiritually active materials such as bloodstone.

:: True Awakening - Spiritus Mundi ::
Form:
In sharp contrast to his original form, Spiritus Mundi exemplifies the exact thing Ciro wishes for: absolute control. His need to be able to shape reality at whim is materialized alongside him. Upon activation, the Tarot Cards circling Ciro fly away from him, creating a large circle of cards in a 30 meter radius around him.

Phantasms crawl out of the images of the card. Each image takes a form of the image on the Tarot Card. They stand lifelessly, as strings of reiatsu attach themselves to their joints and lift them extend into the air to the heavens. They hang listlessly, eyes glazed over, occasionally muttering mysterious phrases and moving ever so slightly. As Ciro’s resonance continues to climb, the puppets move in chaotic fashions, until he reaches Overdrive where they chaotically move through the stage.​

Three-Card Spread - 50% Resonance:

In his True Awakening, Ciro’s control over his target’s thoughts reaches its pinnacle. By locking eyes with his opponent, once again he is able to draw out a memory of his choice.

When the memory is read, he can choose to forcibly materialize the memory into a 30 meter radius around himself. Any people in the selected memory are conjured up as well, though they are unable to be interacted with, as the simply replay their actions in the memory. As each turn passes, the illusion becomes closer to reality, as the events continuously loop in the background. This ability cannot change the features, position and so forth of Ciro or his opponent when activated.

Each turn that Ciro remains in the area with his target, he gets a deeper look into his opponent’s psyche and history. Every turn he continuously draws out memories, learning more about his target’s past and emotional responses.

As this knowledge increases, so does the strength of the illusion he created. By paying 2% per turn, the illusion strengthens, affecting the senses of all those in the area. Each turn, the illusion can control an additional sense (Taste, Touch, Smell, Sight and Hearing). When the ability is activated, sight is instantly added, allowing those in the area to see the illusion, though it’s merely more than a mirage at that point. When Hearing is selected, sounds from the illusion overwrite the sounds of the area around Ciro’s domain. When Touch is added, the memory becomes physical. Instead of having attacks simply phase through the illusion and affect the objects in the real world, the illusion becomes physical, with all objects created becoming physical and allowing everyone in the domain to interact with the inanimate objects.

At any point, Ciro can replace the memory he has read with a different one from the same target that he has learned. Doing so does not reset the sense counter.​

Five-Card Spread - 50% Resonance:

Upon materializing an illusion, Ciro retains complete control over the make-up and properties of the inanimate objects near him. By paying 2% of his reiatsu, he is able to fuel his reiatsu directly into an object, allowing him to completely change the chemical composition of the object. Manipulating the chemical property completely changes the physical properties of the object. This can only work on inanimate objects that don't carry special properties like bloodstone. He can manipulate a mass up to the amount he can lift with Internalize.​

Overdrive Ability: Celtic Cross Spread - 100% Resonance:

Resonance represents complete merger of the mind, body and soul. The point where all three forces manage to balance is a rare point; however, activation at this point yields results that far transcend the normal boundaries of imagination and reality.

Simply put, Ciro Martelli’s resonance grants the power of complete creation. While earlier, he was only able to create locations and situations from memories, when activating his overdrive, Ciro can create a memory completely from scratch. This allows him to design the entirety of the battlefield encompassed by his Three-Card Spread.

Ciro can create any number of constructs or objects in the area. He is even able to create animate objects; however, they are merely illusions that can be phased through. Any objects or situations he creates automatically are set to the level of the sense counter currently active in his Three-Card Spread ability.​

When called to, Zhang Xu takes the form of metallic arm and shin guards, enveloping Raury's forearm and leg, yet leaving foot and hand untouched(save for fist augmentations in the form of knuckle caps), so as to not interfere with the complex joint movements and dexterity that is required of Raury when using his Martial Art. The guards appear relatively simple, aside from a poem scrawled rather sloppily on each of the bracers, and are a dull silver in color.

Release Phrase - ”Lunge, Kami no Yari”


Form – Hisoka's zanpakutou when released takes the form of a six foot long crimson red spear, with a one foot bladed tip. The tip is coloured black, and the shaft is covered with white linen cloth, in three places with a foot between each part of cloth.

Ability 1 - ”Fading Lunge”
When activated the whole zanpakutou disappears from sight by concealing itself in a coat of reiatsu. It takes 4% of Hisoka's reiatsu to activate and 2% per turn to keep this ability active. There is a slight ripple in the air around the edge of the weapon, but regardless the weapon is very difficult to detect.

Ability 2 ”Phase Lunge”
By paying 5% of his reiatsu, Kami no Yari can phase through objects in its way. The weapon will stay phased until the start of Hisoka's next turn. The weapon may phase through barrier kidou that cost less than the reiatsu payed to activate this ability. However, this ability is taxing on the zanpakutou and so this ability has a three turn cooldown period to allow the zanpakutou spirit to recuperate.

Ability 3- ” Dismissal”
By paying 500 reiatsu, Hisoka can deactivate all abilities currently active on his zanpakutou, i.e. Cause his weapon to become visible and solid again. However, if this ability is used to deactivate ”Phase Lunge”, that ability gains an extra turn of cooldown due to being forced to early solidification. This ability may be used twice initially in any given battle with an extra use gained with every 3000 reiatsu, i.e. Gaining an extra use at 4000 reiatsu, 7000 reiatsu and capping at 10k reiatsu and five uses.

SPIRIT

Gunshin’s spirit is manifested in the form of a faceless warrior clad in ancient Japanese armor, with a halo of everlasting flames burning above its head. Numerous swords and daggers decorate Gunshin’s belt, and he typically carries a spear or halberd. The spirit world which Gunshin inhabits is a desolate wasteland decorated with an innumerable amount of weapons sticking handle-side-up out of the ground.

FORM

Unsealed, Gunshin takes the form of a naginata. Its metallic handle is painted red and has a very thin segment of steel in the middle. Gunshin’s blade is sharpened on the outer curve (the opposite of its sealed form), and punctuated by curved, jagged notches on the inner curve. Gunshin’s handle is roughly five feet long while the blade extends out another three feet. On the end opposite the blade, Gunshin has a sharpened spike for close-quarters defense.

ABILITY

MARK OF FRAGILITY: Alone, Gorou and Gunshin are a capable force. While surrounded by allies, however, Gunshin’s power becomes a force to be reckoned with. When Gorou strikes a target he has the option of paying 5% of his reiatsu, and in doing so leaves behind a twofold effect. First, the target will gain a faintly-visible aura with a red-orange glow. If the triggering wound is healed by any means, the aura dissipates and the effect of MARK OF FRAGILITY is canceled. Otherwise, this effect persists for up to 3 rounds, or until the victim is dead or unconscious.

Second, the marked target will take additional damage from all incoming attacks. All minor wounds are made moderate on the marked target, from any source. This effect can be applied again during the following round which will refresh the number of rounds it lasts for. Further applications of MARK OF FRAGILITY are not cumulative.

"Raging Storm”​

Ooarashi is a Bankai that manipulates weather itself, as such, there’s not a definite area of influence to the effects of unleashing it. What it does is to conjure a multitude of clouds on the sky, as well as causing the wind around the area to pick up - in a nutshell, the unleashing of the Bankai is akin to the beginning of a storm, an immense one. This means that the full extent of the Bankai is not seen, or usable, right after its release, but only after a set amount of time has passed.

With each passing turn, the storm surrounding the battlefield intensifies, with the winds getting more and more powerful and the clouds visually more impressive and ominous. After three turns of the initial release, the storm reaches its climax, with the winds reaching their full potential and the beginning of rainfall across the battlefield’s extent. The winds and the rain hold absolutely no special characteristics or traits, being merely a consequence of the storm raging on.

"Complete Freedom”​

During his Bankai Tetsuo loses the compressed air field that surrounded his blade while in Shikai, however, this is merely a step in order for him to make full use of his Bankai ability. Ooarashi grants Tetsuo an unparalleled ability for high paced, Omni-directional movements throughout the battlefield by manipulation of the atmosphere, mainly, of air. For any purposes other than inhibiting an opponent’s action or harming the same, Tetsuo can manipulate the air surrounding him in any way he sees fit. That ranges from creating ‘step stones’ in middle-air for him to walk or stand on, to more elaborate uses such as rapid compression and release of air to create a burst effect towards any direction - think of a sudden acceleration effect, if you will. These are done at a thought basis, without the need of incantations or gestures from Tetsuo’s part, but merely the expressing of his will via thoughts.

"Sky Thunder Spear”​

From the moment Tetsuo’s Bankai is released, he can make use of the storm that is unleashed and its properties. By paying an amount equal to 3% of his current reiatsu, Tetsuo can call down spears of lightning towards any location. Their appearance is that of the japanese su yari, with a double-edged blade reaching the lenght of 1.5 ft and shaft measuring 4 ft in lenght - though the shape and sizes can be hard to discern due to the very presentantion of the spears being an amalgamation of lightning and electrical discharges condensed together.

These spears do not explode on impact, but rather pierce through that which stands in their way before vanishing as small light particles if they hit their mark. If the spear comes to miss, it’ll remain in place for a single turn before vanishing. Any being other than Tetsuo that tries to retrieve a spear will be faced with the explosion of said spear on contact.

Tetsuo can retrieve any of the spears to use as his own. In these situations, the weapon will only vanish by command and not by striking its target. Since they are a reflection of his own reiatsu taken shape, it’s safe to assume that Tetsuo suffers no harm from them regardless of their appearance or composition.

The amount of spears that can be called down is related to the state of the storm, in other words, to how many turns have passed since Tetsuo released Bankai. Starting at five (5) spears on the first turn, the numbers grows by five (5) with each passing turn, capping at twenty (20). Tetsuo can call down more than one spear per turn, and they can each be aimed at a different target.

- Raijinshou -

"Thunder God Invitation"​

After at least two turns have passed since the release of his Bankai, Tetsuo is able to use his second attack, Raijinshou. By calling forth the descent of four spears at the same time, Tetsuo forms an enclosed space of at least 16x16 ft (5x5 meters) to a maximum of 65x65 ft (20x20 meters) around any one enemy of his choosing. Instantly as they hit the ground, a lightning screen is erected between the spears with its reaches being the above stormy clouds, effectively sealing off anyone inside. This compromises the first part of the attack and its main purpose of shutting down a particular enemy(s) or delimitating the boundaries of a battlefield.

Raijinshou however has an extension, something more akin of a punishment than an actual attack. By paying an amount equal to 1% of his current reiatsu per turn, per enemy enclosed, Tetsuo causes a perpetual lightning strike within the boundaries of Raijinshou. Due to the nature of the space and its confinements, escaping these attacks is rather troublesome, not to say futile. Though, for the low cost involved in their evocation, these strikes are more a diversion or an annoyance than a real threat to those enclosed inside.

The cost for erecting Raijinshou is equal to 15% of Tetsuo's current reiatsu, and no more than one enclosed space can be held at any given time. Also, the four spears used as the foundation of the attack count towards the maximum that Tetsuo can call down per turn, effectively dropping the number by this amount as long as the attack persists.

"Lightning God Whirlwind Spear"​

By paying an amount equal to 35% of his total reiatsu, Tetsuo unleashes the full power of his Bankai against the world. The storm seemingly quells for a moment before a gigantic hole is opened amidst the clouds covering the sky. In its middle a spear of humungous proportions and ornate presentation - something on the lengths of sixty meters of length and ten of diameter - is materialized. By the shinigami’s command, said spear crashes down against the battlefield, consuming everything on its path and causing an explosion comparable to its size as it hits its mark. Everything in its range is harmed, be it friend or foe.

This attack requires the storm to have reached its full potential and, as an after-effect, it resets the Bankai to its initial state - truly a wild card to be feared and used with moderation.

~Name: Marishiten | Length: 93 cm | Width: 2 cm | Handle: 12 cm~​

Sealed: A gorgeous blade wrapped in a swath of cerulean silk for a sheath; when swung, the sword appears as though a waterfall with cascading waves crashing infinitely upon each other until it is held still. The handle is long enough to have two hands grip comfortably, but the sword is light enough to be swung with just one hand. The hilt is silver in color and seemingly made of wire rather than a solid band of metal; despite its construction, it is as durable as any other guard. The blade itself is etched as though someone had splashed some sort of corrosive agent upon the silvery surface, giving it the real appearance of white ocean waves all along its length. It possesses only one edge. This zanpakutou is worn at the side or, occasionally, the back.

Manifestation: A towering golden statue with four pairs of arms, and three faces that is usually disguised as a sleeping woman.

Shikai: 唵摩利支依梭哈. (Trans. Om Maricyai Mam Svaha) (Pronounced: Onmarutsemansoha)

There is no associated form-change, except that the white-wash upon the blade turns gold, giving the appearance of golden ocean crests when swung. A gold aura surrounds the sword.

Abilities: Marishiten’s abilities are dependent on how its shikai is released.

[Emptiness] – This ability is unlocked when Marishiten is released while the user’s completely at peace through the verbal command ‘唵.’ ( Pronounced ‘Om.’) Marishiten releases energy and compresses it around the user’s body, creating a golden aura suffusing the user’s physical outline and pupils. Disrupting the user’s mental state with too much mental noise- for example, through emotional trauma, will automatically shut [Emptiness] off; the user must then regain mental calm and reactivate [Emptiness] through the ‘Om’ command.

Statistics: [Emptiness] affords a special ability. So long as [Emptiness] is active, the user must pay 1% Reiatsu as an upkeep cost and the user now cannot feel pain of any kind. While the user can still take damage as normal, the user will not feel pain up and including a) pain from wounds or damage, b) fatigue associated with muscle damage (the user will, instead, feel 'heavy' due to the muscles being unable to work as effectively), c) pain from snapped tendons/joints/etc that would otherwise disable the user, or d) pain associated with a psychological state or condition. When [Emptiness] shuts off, however, the user is subject to feeling pain as normal.

[Providence] – This ability is unlocked when the user recites the release command to completion. The complete mantra allows Marishiten to unlock its true shikai power; divine providence. At any point in time, the user is capable of becoming completely invulnerable to all damage with [Providence]. However, such a divine intervention costs an immense ability of spiritual power and is not generally sustainable.

Statistics: At any point of time, so long as [Emptiness] is active, the user can activate [Providence] to become immune to damage for a brief instant lasting approximately 1 second. This ability cannot be used again until the sword is resealed and re-released. This ability cannot be used if [Emptiness] is not active.

Upon an attack which the user chooses to use [Providence] on, the user pays X% reiatsu to prevent damage equal to (X%+10%). The user must pay the amount of reiatsu equal to the amount of damage he or she would take, nothing more or less.

What does change is the fact that once her bankai is invoked, the blue-eyed Walker’s presence becomes more noticeable, and intimidating in and oddly charming way. Her already piercing-blue eyes become even more so, at times even looking as if they would pierce a hole through one’s very soul.

As battle drags on, those who defend will naturally expend less energy than those who attack. In this, they are prepared to strike when the moment presents itself. This philosophy carries itself over into Exigatur, in the form of Florissante.

Whenever Nana blocks, deflects or otherwise negates an opponent's attack, a single flower insignia paints itself along her sword arm. Up to five insignia's may be present at once. While the insignia's are in play, Nana gains a passive 1% shielding barrier - akin to a second layer of reiatsu covering her skin closely - per emblem in play, up to a maximum of 5%.

If after 3 rounds Nana hasn’t instigated an attack herself, or otherwise received an attack back at her, the stacks are lost completely.

A brutally graceful movement that may be invoked only during an opponent's attack, Nana is capable of making an attempt to cut off their attack before it can be carried out. The remise is a renewal of attack, swift and shallow, lacking in the power of the original but cutting off the opponent's next attack. If Nana's Zanjutsu, plus 50% of her Hohou stat added to it, is equal to or greater than the opponent's attacking stat, she may execute a remise in response to a coming attack, canceling it out.

Through rigorous training the Amaterasu heir has learned how to combine the fruits of her hard work with that which she has been taught by others. The subsequent result from this understanding has opened up a wide array of new possibilities with which Nana can overcome the hurdles she has yet to take.

By paying a lofty 10% of her total reiatsu upon activation, and a 1% reiatsu uphold per subsequent turn, Nana has learned to harden her resolve. A a result, every time Nana uses either Ittouryoudan or Ijou Ittourydan, the respective techniques receive a 10% boost of the Walker’s total reiatsu - it’s range being that of the Initial cost for the techniques x 2 for the original range + 10% of Nana’s total reiatsu.

As an added bonus, these techniques also gain the ability to not only block, or obliterate energy based attacks such as kidou, ceros or the elements itself, but to block or obliterate any form of attacking.

Brutal in her denial of another's offensive, Nana's blade is fully capable of cutting down any attempt to slight her. Infusing 4% of her reiatsu into her blade, the insignias of Exigatur's ability glow softly along her arm, creating a thin pattern of floral print as La Destreza takes hold.

Every attack, physical or energy in nature, that clashes against her is naturally rebounded should it hold less than an equivalent amount of energy infused into it. Though this ability is taxing, requiring her to pay an extra 2% of her reiatsu to sustain it lest it deactivate, she is capable of maintaining it for a total of five rounds before the full price must be repaid once again.

In its sealed stasis, Hinome’s zanpakutou is a simple katana. The sheathed is lacquered in a glossy maroon color, matching her uniform’s adornments with a silky black hilt. The tsuba is in a round shape with a flowery pattern. The blade is an regular one, with a engraved flower detail.

[ Manifestation ]

An avant-guarde geisha, which happens to be a ginger haired western woman in her middle thirties, wearing a orange and saffron shaded kimono. Natsugiku has a chrysanthemum ornate hairpin adorning her quiffed hair-style and is always holding a radiant paper umbrella, that shines as bright as the Hizashi. Apart from a somewhat edgy temper, not much is known about her personality.

[ Inner World ]

There isn’t a specific inner world. It can be any place which Hinome has already visited. They intentionally chosen by Natsugiku. The difference from the real ones is that they are saturated in a bright, almost blinding sunny luminance, like the sun itself was over-shining.

[ Released form ]

After released, the katana takes the shape of a jian sword, with a flowery motive guard, ornate pommel and a long saffron tassel. The blade has double cutting edge, as normal in the jian type sword and is rather rigid for its flatness. Uncommonly, the jian's hilt is long enough to be held with both hands.

"A sword that can become a shield. A close combat weapon that can perform a long ranged attack. A cutter that can crush. A blade that can cut through blades. Those are some of the principles within Natsugiku.”

Hayazaki is the first stage of Natsugiku’s abilities. We could say that it is the base ability, which needs to be triggered so the second one can be used.

By paying 10% of her maximum reiatsu, Hinome can invoke a radiant barrier of solid reiatsu energy that coats the blade. It is called the Hizashi.

As the sword is swung and brandished, it draws in the air a radiant light trail, with the pale gold color of Hinome’s reiatsu. While Hayazaki is active, the jian’s tassel also becomes as luminous as the Hizashi barrier, and ephemeral glowing petals scatter from it.

In Hayazaki, the initial step, the Hizashi takes the shape of a radiant offset of the jian’s blade, being around two inches wide for each side of the cutting edges and about one foot longer on its length. In this highly compressed form, the Hizashi works like an extremely sharp repelling barrier made of reiatsu that vibrates in ultrasonic frequency, greatly enhancing the cutting power of its edges. It can cut effortlessly thought barely anything. The more reiatsu is spent, the more powerful, sharp and voracious the reiatsu blade becomes.

Against reiatsu based targets, such as zanpakutou and other elements, the effortlessness of the cut will be based on Hinome’s reiatsu compared to the wielder’s/owner’s. The lower the opponents’ reiatsu compared to hers, the more effortlessly they and their zanpakutou will be sliced and diced, and so, opponents about her level or slightly higher will be more resistant to the razor, but still, they should mind their blades...

Hayazaki can be maintained up to 4 rounds at base 1,000 reiatsu, adding up 1 extra turn at each 5,000 reiatsu, maxing up at 7 turns. When timed out, it needs to be triggered again, with the same cost.

This is the second stage, or extension, of the first ability, Hayazaki.

With Sanzenake, by paying extra 10% reiatsu, Hinome gains the possibility to shape the Hizashi barrier to any form she desires, the many times she needs, during Hayazaki’s time limit. The possibilities are endless. A shield, a wall, a hammer, a shooting spear, a great sword, ladder, anything.

For reference, at 1,000 reiatsu, the Hizashi can grow in mass up to 1/4x Hinome’s build, to a maximum of 3x her build at 15,000 reiatsu.

In this stasis, the durability of shields, barriers, or any other transformed shape, and sharpness of the edges is equivalent to the total amount of reiatsu spent both in Hayazaki and Sanzenake. Following the principles of Hayazaki, the more compressed the maximum mass of the Hizashi is, even more resistant and sharp it becomes. Also, the forms will always be attached to the sword, not being able to part from it.

Hinome is also able to control the speed of the Hizashi’s transformation’s movement, such as when it extends itself to perform a ranged attack; or when the shield or barrier is formed, thrusting against the incoming attack or opponent. Sanzenake’s maximum speed is based in the amount of reiatsu spent and also Hinome’s zanjustsu skill.

The Hizashi can be extended within a radius of 20 meters around the wielder, however, it will always maintains its maximum mass while doing so and abide by the compression/resistance law.

EDIT: Since I learned that TA's could have one more ability, I combined the form and gatling ability in TA to match the format in IA. Also Sev mentioned that the new awakening mechanics fit the power-ups idea better and i agree, so i changed the way Rafa achieves new guns (also threw another one in there.)

An Orpheus agent through and through, how could Rafa’s release be anything but a gun? And a really, really big one, at that -- like those straight out of arcade shoot ‘em ups. Entering Rikidou Koukei surrenders all the gross fleshy bits of Rafa’s right arm by engulfing everything from finger to shoulder with a sturdy composite alloy comprised of both Earthen metals and defensively reinforced with Rafa's spirit pressure, and 'joints' that give Rafa full motion of his arm. The result is an enormous particle rifle that, despite its clunky size, doesn’t hinder Rafa’s agility in the slightest.

Rafa can shoot out shells of his own spiritual pressure. Each normal "bullet” costs Rafa as low as 1 Reiatsu to a max of 100 Reiatsu. Due to the size and power of the gun, these bullets are much larger and faster than their regular Orpheus counterparts.

Ability (Resonance 25%):

As a reward for being the absolute best at this game (but really for making it to 25% resonance), Rafa has the ability to manifest a single companion fighter from his true awakening. This little gal circles around him and replicates his every shot (unless instructed otherwise). The shots fired are valued at 50% of the real Rafa's shots (E.g, 100 1-Rei bullets do as much damage as 50) and cost 50% less as well, which is taken from their own 10% Rei pool. Each 'Wingman', as they are commonly known on the shoot 'em up circuit, is about a foot in size, and take on the appearance of a random, tiny, Gundam-esque NTS48 Idol, complete with a mini version of their own gun arm.

To bring out a Mecha-Idol, Rafa must spend a one-time cost of 10% of his current reiatsu. If the Mecha-Idol is destroyed or taken out of battle by any other means, it costs another 10% to call out.

Form/Ability (Resonance 50%): Rafa's tried, true, and gunmetal-hued weapon arm with a few new modifications. When Rafa reaches the appropriate Resonance level, the barrel of his gun grows out of its adolescent railgun phase and gets straight up mature. Two double barrel gatling gun chambers replace the railgun barrel, further increasing comical length of the weapon. These guns are capable of firing reiatsu bullets valued at a modest increase 1 to 200 rei.

As a passive bonus from lugging around the gun of his first stage forever however, the true arm modification doesn't even need to be manifested, as Rafa can just as well shoot energy blasts from his fingers. He likes the intimidation aspect though - If pop music is to be trusted, and people really do get uneasy staring down the barrel of a .45, imagine what this would do to them.

In the eternal words of one Billy Mays: 'But that's not all!' Everything is a game to Rafa, even combat - literally. When he releases, Rafa makes like an old-school Arcade shooter and... blows stuff up. Armed like the Intergalactic Vic Viper sans that disgusting, dehydrated space ice cream, Rafa's new and improved arm-gun gives him access to a mini-armory of flexible weaponry - granted he can pool up the resonance to earn them. For every 10% resonance that Rafa gains past the 50% required to enter True Awakening (e.g. at 60%, 70%, and so on), he can choose a power up from the arsenal below.

These power ups are dropped from some a mysterious, space-dwelling idol-shaped satellite orbiting the battlefield and are insta-melded onto the base gun-arm. Since each one is fired out of a different peripheral, they are capable of being fired simultaneously.

• Napalm Flamethrower - Chemical warfare, GET! For a per turn cost of 5% of Rafa's rei he can shoot a burst of flames with a nasty napalm effect. If hit, an enemy is further damaged by 2% of Rafa's reiatsu in chemical burns for the next three turns.

• Hyper Bazooka - Doom cone, GET! This bad boy shoots out a conical blast worth 10% of Rafa's rei. Distance (in meters) = Total reiatsu/1000, Width = Total Reiatsu/3000.

• Smart Bombs - Explosive charges, GET! Capable of shelling out 500 rei in grenade-like AoE blasts. Radius of the blast (in meters) = Total Reiatsu/2500.

• Beam Magnum - Death ray, GET! A long-range, barrier-penetrating laser ammo that is very similar to the bazooka blast, but in a concentrated fashion - the laser does the same amount of damage wherever it is touched. Costs 10% reiatsu, and length (in meters) = Total Reiatsu/300.​

It not a true shoot 'em up if there aren't a buttload of power-ups to be had, especially outside the artillery spectrum. Though a little taste can be had in his Initial Awakening, the definitive version of Mecha-Idols can only be called upon after Rafa reaches 50% Resonance. Up to three of these little gals can be brought out at a time for Rafa’s choice of between 10 and 15% of his total reiatsu (per Mech). The main difference is that they gain access to the same TA arsenal Rafa can acquire, which fires at 50% strength of the original (One hyper bazooka blast from a Mecha-Idol 2.0 is only valued at 5% rei).

Mecha-Idol 2.0’s can also traverse the battlefield freely, or at the instructions of Rafa through a special connection shared between a boy and his robots, from which they can relay visual data to him.


Overdrive (Resonance 100%):

After reaching the High Score (100% resonance) and etching his initials into the game for forevers, Rafa can unleash his ultimate attack: the full Mecha48 troupe. The result is simple - the total reiatsu used to bring forth all existing Mecha-Idols is spread across the full team of 48 mechs.

The full team functions exactly like the originals, except with a common pool of reiatsu to use to fuel their attacks. The attack may be executed by all 48 mechs, a squad of them, or a single mech, with the output spread across the number participating evenly.
