rabi - approved w/ changes

Shinkeikaku shadan:

rather than the debuff relating to the opponent's stat, it should be based on Shinji's. So the victim's stat will drop by 2% or 10% of Shinji's zanjutsu. Stick with a single stat to debuff (just zan, not hoh).

Hageshi Sakeku:

Lower the amount of emptiness generated to 5%

roo - approved w/ changes

Add a cost per turn the attack is in effect, somewhere around 2% or 500 rei.

Desu - review is withheld pending the completion of our collab and payment in the form of zhukov smootch ;D

oh c'mooon i already approved your other shikai twice and you never even used it! hahaha. also i'm possibly just being lazy and putting this one off til next week.

Voidox - disapproved

while it's cool to borrow ideas from other anime and games and whatnot (we all do it), and a giant arm is certainly feasable as a release, this is copied much too directly from D.grayman. be a little bit creative, at least >__<

see moot's rule #5 under 'general rp'

my lil ol bankai, updated and rdy for zenny's perusal n__n

Bankai

HerÁ¤Á¤minen Kirjokansi
[Awakening Kirjokansi]

Form: Keeping the general shape of the naginata from Louhi's Shikai, the weapon loses its ability to shrink and grow, instead becoming fixed at a massive sixteen foot scale. The pole resembles a lamp post in thickness and the blade is a monstrous five feet long, one foot wide, thick and emblazoned with eye-like designs along the centre. The hooked end becomes double-pronged and jagged, able to snap shut like the jaws of an insect.

Rather than being held, the weapon floats independently in close proximity to Louhi's body using a magnetic connection to her reiatsu, and can be swung with the same speed, force, and accuracy as if she were actually holding it.

Ability: Necrokinesis

Any manner of tissue, flesh, bone, hair, bodies and the like not imbued with the quality which defines it as living (i.e, dead stuff) present within a 100 foot radius becomes subject to Louhi's complete manipulation. This would also include any necrotic tissue still attatched to a living body. This matter can be gathered together and compressed, laced with reiatsu to a considerable strength and resilience and molded to any shape, however the ability is clearly limited by the scarcity of the necessary component. Speed and strength are tied with Louhi's zanjutsu stat.

Attack: Tartunta [Infection]

The maggots emerging from Kirjokansi are much stronger and faster moving in Bankai. Each larva is bolstered by the power of the reiatsu consumed in the attack, making them difficult to burn or crush. Hurled en masse from the edge of the blade, they can rapidly burrow into living flesh, or more easily into wounds, and especially aiming for the eyes. Anyone afflicted by these parasites will find healing kidou or abilities no longer functional, and regeneration impossible. Due to sheer numbers, the maggots cannot simply be brushed away or easily avoided.

Within each swarm are five special half inch long black maggots, the Kantaja. Hidden among their more ordinary brethren, they too will seek out any point at which they can burrow into an opponent, with specialized jaws capable of piercing through clothing or even armor. Once they become situated in the target's body, they latch into the flesh by extending thin tendrils from their exterior, reaching out into a radius of 5 inches.

Once the Kantaja is lodged in such a way, the infected flesh becomes susceptible to Louhi's Necrokinesis to a degree which depends on the opponent's reiatsu level. Victims of less than half Louhi's strength may have the section of infected flesh forcibly torn from their body, or else be dragged around by the effect, especially when multiple Kantaja are present. Opponents within 50% will struggle to resist against the pull of Necrokinesis and may be thrown off balance or temporarily pinned in place, for example. Opponents with 2x or more reiatsu than Louhi's are only affected if all five Kantaja have entered their body.

Each swarm called up costs Louhi 500 reiatsu.

Attack: Revontulien Taivaankansi [Aurora Vault]

By channeling 10% of her Reiatsu into the huge naginata pole which functions as a giant magnet, Louhi can create an Aurora Vault centralized around her weapon. The vault appears as a ceiling of Aurora Borealis over the battle area, covering about the size of a football stadium at its maximum. The space within the Aurora Vault is filled with a strange and unearthly light, the colours constantly shifting due to the forces of opposing reiatsu during combat. Ghostly shapes of various birds may be discerned drifting through the upper reaches of the vault, while a slow rain of luminescent feathers descend earthward.

As a result of this strange light, any abilities and kidou which utilize light or shadow, or claim light/shadow as an element (Step of Shadows, Shadow Puppet, Spectrum, etc) are nullified unless the user pays a cost of 4x greater than normal. Abilities which have no cost are nullified without recourse.

Very weak individuals will begin to experience visual hallucinations and nausea after prolonged exposure to the Aurora, while electronic devices and other complex technology will behave erratically due to the powerful electromagnetic field.

While the Aurora Vault remains in a 'charged' state, Louhi may summon a bolt of electricity to strike her opponent at the instant when either the jaws or the blade of her naginata make contact with a target. The nauseating Aurora shock tears through the victim's body causing muscles to seize and spasm uncontrollably.

0.5x or less of Louhi's SP = 1.5x effectiveness
SP is relatively equal = normal effectiveness
1.5x or more of Louhi's SP = 0.5x effectiveness

This attack can be used 5 times successively before it must be recharged with another payment of 10%.

Note - here's my new one - deleted old post that was rejected

EDIT - fixed regeneration part of shield, also modified the reiatsu costs a bit.

Release Level: Initial Discovery/First Stage

Name: Ash Hajin, Advent Human

Initial Discovery
: In time of extreme threat, Ash’s left arm will be engulfed in a bright aura of green which when hit at anything amplifies his punch a number of times its normal strength, so a punching something will be like hitting it with a hammer. It is also able to block an attack like a punch, kick, weak things only.

[ First Stage ]

Form
CrossCrown.jpg

The first stage of Ash’s power augments his left arm into a monstrous adamantine claw. Despite the size of the claw; Ash still retains a phenomenal degree of speed and reaction, making it an extremely versatile anti-hollow weapon.

The claw is a melee based weapon, Ash will use his claw exactly for what it is, using the fangs to gash out and slice his enemy. The arm is very tough, a sort of exoskeleton one could say. Ii can take up quite a bit of damage and deal out just as much.

[ Ability/Attack ]

Piercing Fang (せんこうどくが / senkou dokuga) – This attack gathers Ash’s reiatsu to shoot out the claw’s fangs at a target. Reiatsu is required to regenerate the fangs to replace the ones that have been shot.

To shoot out his fangs, Ash needs to gather 15% of his harmony stat from his reiatsu. Regenerating the fang costs 8% of his harmony stat from his reiatsu and thus the attack cannot be used in rapid succession else Ash use up all his reiatsu quickly.
  • Any opponent with reiatsu 2 times greater or more is not affected by this attack.
  • Any opponent at same level ~ 1.5 times greater reiatsu will be harmed but not to greatest extent.
  • Any opponent below Laharal’s reiatsu feel the full force of the attack
.
Shield Fang (シールドどくが / shi^rudo dokuga) – This is a defensive ability that shields Ash from an attack by enlarging the claw’s fangs, joining them together to form a shield over the claw, protecting him.

This uses up 15% of Ash’s harmony stat from his reiatsu to block an attack. If an attack is not fully blocked, the shield is destroyed and the fangs must be regenerated using 8% harmony of reiatsu.
  • Any attack which comes from someone with reiatsu 2 times greater or more, the shield cannot block the attack.
  • Any attack coming from an opponent at the same level ~ 1.5 times greater reiatsu, the shield will be able to reduce the effects or intensity of the attack.
  • Any opponent below Laharal’s reiatsu their attack is completely blocked by the shield.

Louhi- I can't seem to find anything wrong with the release and as such I stamp Approved on to it.

Voidox- I didn't see your prior submission, but as per this one it looks balanced. The only questions I have are about the size of the formed shield and why the fangs would need to be regenerated if the attack defended against did not break them (specifically for those x.5 and below catagory)

Desu - Kirema

changes to the ability: provide at least one concrete example of what you can do with the ability pushed to its maximum at your current connection level (like 30k), and how much that would cost.

Additionaly, there needs to be some link between the objects made invisible and the zanpakutou. This can be done by simply requiring the weapon to touch the object at some point before the ability can be used, or by firing some kind of marker to affix to the object, or whatever you like.

The total sum of reiatsu emitting objects also may not add up to more than zhukov's current rei - i.e. he can invisify four people with 1/4 his reiatsu, or only two with 1/2 of it.

Voidox - approved

Shikai:

Kirema
“A rift in the clouds”

Form:

Kirema’s Sealed and Released states are identical.

Ability:

Asagumori
“A Cloudy Morning”

When Kirema is first unsealed, at no cost of energy to Zhukov, a pulse of Reiatsu emanates from the weapon and spreads out over a sphere with a diameter of 30 meters. Anything which is within that area of effect can be targeted by Kirema’s ability. In order to generate another pulse in a different area, Kirema must be sealed and released again. Kirema’s ability is the manipulation of the opacity of objects. Aside from Kirema, Zhukov, and those objects imbued with his Reiatsu, this ability can only affect beings and objects which emit less than half of Zhukov’s current Reiatsu. This ability can affect any targetable substance with equal effectiveness (IE-Acid and Water can have their transparencies altered at the same rate). Additionally, all targetable substances can be affected to absolute transparency and opacity, provided the necessary Reiatsu is provided. The higher Zhukov’s Connection, the larger the volume that can be affected, the more opaque or transparent the affected area can become, and the cheaper the cost to manipulate the opacity of the target becomes. Due to the radically different range of possibilities, cost is defined per use. The total sum of Reiatsu emitting objects cloaked by Kirema may not add up to more than Zhukov’s current Reiatsu - i.e. he can turn four people invisible with a quarter his Reiatsu, or only two with half of his Reiatsu.

An example of Kirema’s ability pushed to the maximum (at 30,000 Connection) would be making a cylindrical volume of air three meters tall and five meters in diameter completely opaque at the cost of 6,000 Reiatsu. This is 60 cubic meters of air turned completely black for about fifteen seconds.

Vizard Attack:

Natsuakari
“Summer Dawn”

Energy is gathered either at the tip of Zhukov’s hand or accompanying a sword slice and fired as a coherent beam. Effective range is twenty meters. This attack is colored by the user’s Reiatsu. Typically the burst is black tinged with blue. Area of effect varies according to the target. Higher resistance focuses the burst into a more coherent ‘anti-armor’ penetration sort of effect, while a lower resistance causes the burst to spread itself out, dealing a much wider spread of damage with a somewhat more superficial level of intensity. Beam is composed entirely of light energy, and is subject to the mechanics of light. Cost per use is 10% Rage and 5% Reiatsu, and this ability generates 5% Emptiness.

Yeah so I realized that the wording I had was completely not applicable to the stuff I had in mind, which would explain why you passed the version I submitted...it was weaker. >_>;

So to try and make up for the changes to the ability I wrote in (I specified that now, Canine-specific and Incisor-specific blows can affect objects in general), I added in a couple of weaknesses, like making the Incisors unkillable like the Canines, and taking away Leon's ability to choose what gets sucked in (thus giving him more incentive to not use this with allies).

All and all, I didn't change the Form section at all, so just check out the Ability section. The wording changes were quickly done, so please, if you find a contradiction, point it out. Sorry for bringing this monstrosity up again Beth. ._.

BankaiFuhen Taishokukan Seikan “Eternal Glutton Fearless”

Release -
Leon’s Bankai, like all other Bankais, is the physical manifestation of his zanpakutou on our plateau. Rumor has it that while the Captains headed the battle inside the Fortress of Hueco Mundo, Leon disposed of an army of 10,000 Hollows within three minutes using this fabled release.

The moment Leon activates Bankai, he will toss whatever blade he has on hand (whether it be the sealed, standard tachi of Seikan or one of the released fangs) into the air wildly, remaining in place while the sword flies up, then returns towards the ground, precariously threatening to hack him in half en route to the earth. The sword never actually wounds him, but the release ceremony is in line with the blade’s demands on its master’s fearlessness.

As soon as the sword has made contact with the soil, traditional Bankai activation occurs, and a cyclonic whirlwind of ash and dust envelope Leon from sight. When it has thoroughly cleared, the monstrosity that is Fuhen Taishokukan Seikan is revealed.

Form -
The seven fangs have all undergone transformations that relate to their “function” within Leon’s Bankai. The two most easily observed are the “Canines”, gargantuan towers of razor-sharp steel that can be directed at high speeds to completely devastate the area. They are roughly as tall as a five story building and as wide as a bus. They have been sanded on all sides so that being hit by any portion of the large blades will result in a flesh-wound, but nothing more can be done: the degree to which they have been sharpened ensures that cutting beneath the skin will result in the powderization of the metal, rendering the canines incapable of dealing death blows. Portions that have been destroyed by cutting too deep are replaced within a few seconds by Leon’s reiatsu (draining him of a minute fraction each time he must regenerate the lost sections…abusing this power will result in a guaranteed loss due to exhaustion). The canines themselves appear as grossly enlarged versions of the Shikai fangs with a porcupine-texture, though they have no hilts…instead, a tightly coiled rope of metal runs from the bases of both to conjoin at a single hilt in Leon’s left hand, which acts as the medium through which he can wield the canines.

Additionally, in between the conjoining point extends another blade, one of the two “Incisors” that Leon wields in his hands. This left incisor is long but thin, rather like a nodachi, and Leon must be careful to avoid injuring himself while manipulating the canines with the tripod hilt. In his right hand is the second incisor, which is even bigger than the original Shikai weapons: its edge is a full nine feet in length, and the central fuller that was present in the ancient Seikan has manifested in this sword, providing a unique core that allows for interesting sword techniques without costing structural integrity.

Furthermore, linked to the pommel of this right incisor are two more ropes of metal that run to the last pair of fangs, the “Molars”. These are only about a third the size of the canines, but still much larger than Leon. They do not hold the sharpened edge that the canines do…instead, they are big blocks of some foreign substance (similar to rubber) that are intended to act as shields against enemy attacks. This is because the physical requirements for giving a gargantuan sword like the canines a highly honed, razor-sharp cutting edge causes an inherently brittle temperament to form to attacks that are taken while stationary. Thus these molars fully block for Leon against large scale attacks up to 1.5 times his reiatsu-level in strength, but cannot be used for offense, as the material that composes them will simply absorb impacts that could be used to bludgeon the enemy.

All of these fangs share a color hue of indigo…they no longer shift to lighter shades of blue as they move. This unified tinge is not found in the seventh fang, the original form of which has been lost: Leon modified his Bankai to incorporate his father’s zanpakutou, Tasukeru, as the seventh and final fang. The legendary weapon looks as it did many years before, and occasional flickers of golden red can be seen dancing along its ridge. This is the “Wisdom Tooth”, which binds all of Leon’s attacks to the final portion of Fuhen Taishokukan Seikan’s form.

Lying behind Leon at all times is an ominous silhouette that contains pulsating, red stars within its vaguely defined shape (the border of this shadow is defined by strong, indigo incandescence). It is a mirror image of the constellation within Leon’s inner world, and just as expected, a hole of pure black lies near its heart, generating an eerie growl as it hovers in the air. This is Fuhen Taishokukan Seikan’s “Stomach”, which swallows all that has been chewed to satisfaction by its fangs.

Ability -
Fuhen Taishokukan’s stomach is a powerful black-hole, though it possesses no event horizon…indeed, if any material enters the silhouette behind Leon, it will pass harmlessly through, including enemies. The stomach must be directed at a target, and this is done with the fangs: if any object is touched by Leon’s weapons, the vacuum of his Bankai’s stomach targets them. He cannot selectively prevent material from being targeted once his fangs have grazed an object. The power of the black hole is variable, relating directly to which weapon(s) have touched the object in question. The following chart lists the attributes of each fang type, including what they do in relation to the stomach:

A rough "shitty" depiction of the six unusually shaped fangs of Fuhen Taishokukan.

Molar – Defense only, incapable of harming anything. In the impossible odds that a Molar did harm something, it would have no effect in relation to the black hole.

Canines – Canines are strictly for offense only, and are very fragile under pressure dealt while they are stationary. They are incapable of killing any organisms (but very much capable of destroying regular structures and causing collateral damage), as their composition ensures that the material will break asunder and be powderized by any wounds dealt below skin level. Their primary purpose is preparing grunts for being sucked into the stomach or shifting the environment so that Leon can erase those sections of the landscape he wishes to get rid of: a wound from a Canine allows the black hole to suck in objects composed of 1/100th Leon’s reiatsu or less. Stronger material will simply be suffering paper cuts (if an organism) and the annoyance of being blind sighted from the enormous weapons.

Incisors – Incisors will powderize upon excessive contact as well...their purpose is strictly to protect him from close-range assaults while using the Canines and Molars. Being touched by an Incisor allows the black hole to suck in material composed of 1/10th Leon’s reiatsu. Should the substance be stronger, the final tooth will need to be used.

Wisdom Tooth – The legendary zanpakutou “Tasukeru” is unique in that hits dealt by it can potentially suck in anything.

Some obvious facets of the Bankai jump forward: the Canines, utilized against the Hollow hordes of 10,000 weak peons, gives an explanation to Leon’s rumored three minute victory in Hueco Mundo. Additionally, the Canines can’t be used on Earth to destroy structural material since matter on Earth isn’t made from spiritons. The molars continue to follow their trend of practically no offensive use, their lack of effect being more a reassurance at the impossibility of dealing damage with one than an actually notable feature. Most importantly, however, is that the wisdom tooth, Tasukeru, clearly holds special properties: in essence, each blow dealt by the blade will increase the likelihood of an adversary being devoured by Fuhen Taishokukan’s stomach. Tasukeru is useless against anything but opponents themselves…striking a building with it will not even initiate targeting from the black hole. The only thing that can occur with the Wisdom Tooth is the infliction of injuries upon an adversary. The following chart gives the appropriate ratios:

1 Hit:: Capable of sucking in adversaries 1/5th of Leon’s reiatsu or less.
2 Hits:: Capable of sucking in adversaries 1/4th of Leon’s reiatsu or less.
3 Hits:: Capable of sucking in adversaries 1/3rd of Leon’s reiatsu or less.
4 Hits:: Capable of sucking in adversaries 1/2 of Leon’s reiatsu or less.
5 Hits:: Capable of sucking in adversaries equal to Leon’s reiatsu or less.
6 Hits:: Capable of sucking in adversaries 1.5 times stronger than Leon’s reiatsu or less.
7 Hits:: Capable of sucking in adversaries of any strength.

Wielding Tasukeru at all compromises at least three other weapons, as Leon only has two hands…as such, Leon has to decide between the left Incisor and the right one before attacking an opponent with the Wisdom Tooth itself. This means that Leon only utilizes the sword against foes of substantial strength.

The moment Leon has touched (or in Tasukeru’s case, injured) an object enough times, the victim has already entered the black hole’s event horizon, ensuring that it cannot escape. To those not already within the event horizon, the image of the object in question as it last appeared before being trapped will remain, fading from view and growing more transparent as the real material is drawn closer to the hole’s core. The target is spaghettified by the tidal forces and torn to thin, infinitely long strings that disappear into the stomach’s center. Because Seikan is a zanpakutou, the spiritual material specific to souls that is devoured is not eradicated, but rather recycled through the sword itself, being “bled” back out of the great shadow in the form of radiation and ensuring that the cycle of souls is not displaced.

Objects that surpass Leon in reiatsu are not impervious to the effects of the black hole. It is still a construct that exerts a very real, very physical force upon the battlefield through its warping of space-time. It is the same as a sprinter dashing head on into a powerful wind, and so all material that has not been sucked in but is still targeted by the stomach experiences the sensation of tidal forces. This amounts to a 1% decrease in Zanjutsu, Hakuda, and Hohou (not Kidou, which is purely spiritual in nature and thus cannot be affected by physical impetuses) that gains another 1% per turn for organisms. This slow wearing away at the enemy's ability to fight caps at 15%, at which point the victim's bodies will have gotten used to the vacuuming.

The costs on Leon are severe…psychologically, the stomach of Fuhen Taishokukan is a death sentence that Leon does not like dealing out, and although the hole’s vacuum does not affect him, his Bankai cannot distinguish between friend or foe, and so he tries to never use Fuhen Taishokukan in the presence of an ally. Additionally, whenever something is sucked in, his Bankai’s stability becomes more and more compromised, so that taking in large amounts of souls or really powerful enemies guarantees a collapse. He cannot use Fuhen Taishokukan to train with others, because dealing out damage is a template for complete annihilation.

Despite these issues, Fuhen Taishokukan Seikan remains a terrifying Bankai, a killing machine that can be used against masses of enemies or a single, troublesome opponent to fatal effect.

Bakuhatsu Rasen "" (Exploding Spiral)

What arsenal would be complete without the general use, no-holds bar decimation attack? It's almost a given that Kanaduchi, with such a massive and imposing form, would have such an assault.

To even begin this attack Atsuma must fist have Rasen Hana activated, one drill at whatever size desired can then be imbued with an overcharge of reiatsu. The high speed rotation of the drill thus agitates the spiritons crammed within the drill, which has now become a simple container for the reiatsu. (Like a sponge sort of.) The amount of Reiatsu placed into the drill is proportionate to the drill size, too much and it'll preemptively go off, too little and it won't be effective.

Once the drill is packed with just enough volatile Reiatsu the only thing left to do is: smash, hit, crush, or any other forms of violent contact with the enemy to unleash a devastating blow. The drill literally explodes outwards, a directional blast capable of incredible damage. The swirling of the energy inside the drill prior to release makes the explosion that much more turbulent. The range of the blast is limited to within a few yards in front of him, at a full 180 degree blast radius in front of him.

Reiatsu input ranges from 1%-5% max (Drill size max reference: Normal size "" 1%, Double "" 2.5%, Triple "" 3.5% Quadruple "" 5%)

Shikai

Spirit Name
Ginhoukou (Silver seamstress)

Spirit Manifestation
Tsuruigi’s Shikai takes the form of a woman with long silver hair. She wears a Kimono of silver and black broadcloth, tied together in the back by a blood red obi. She never appears standing, instead sitting at a massive loom. She is gentle and very silent, constantly weaving and setting thread as she speaks, never taking her gaze away from her work.

Command
Otte, Ginhoukou! – (Weave, Silver Seamstress)
Form
When Tsurugi speaks the command of his Zanpakutou he reached towards its base, pulling and snapping the black thread that binds the shears together. As he opens them, they begin to grow and fall away from each other, becoming two 5 foot long staves. They are both made of silver and are sharpened at both ends to a fine point, ridged slightly on the sides by fine razors.

Ability 1: Yokosen (horizon line)
Horizon line imbues Tsurugi’s Zanpakutou with the ability to attach binding strands to his opponent. Every time Tsurugi hits an opponent, a thread is attached to their body, which cannot be released until His command. From that moment, the opponent is anchored by a 10 foot strand directly to the ground. Everytime Tsurugi hits his opponent with this attack, another strand is connected to them, eventually rendering them incapable of movement outside a given diameter. The strands will begin to lose their integrity after 5 rounds and can then be cut by all but the weakest of opponents. Those less than 1/5 of Shokkou's strength will not be able to cut themselves free at any point.

ABILITY 2: Ba Teigo (Vertigo)
Vertigo is an ability which is used in conjunction with horizon line. If Tsurugi is able to completely bind an opponent, he may initiate this attack. Upon command, the threads become razor sharp. As they retract back into the earth, they slice deep wounds into Tsurugi’s opponent. The attack MAY be used at any time, but is rather ineffective unless there are a large amount of bindings on the opponent. Vertigo adds a cost of 1% reiatsu per 2 strands connected to an opponent.

Ability 3 : Kaeshi Nui (Back Stitch)
Back stitch allows Tsurugi to weave his reiatsu between the two staves, creating a fine spider web of energy. This ability MAY NOT be used if the opponent is binded, even by one strand. Once initiated, Tsurugi may manipulate the spirit energy in between the dual weapons to create a hardened tapestry that may be used as a shield. The shield can only be broken if the force of the attack is greater than that of the energy used to create it. This defense requires at least 10% of Tsurugi’s energy poured into it to manifest.

kyle - approved, although i wonder how you're gonna fight the lasalles like that.. >__<

myles - approved

sly - approved with changes:

Yokosen: Strands will begin to lose their integrity after 5 rounds and can then be cut by all but the weakest of opponents. Those less than 1/5 of Shokkou's strength will not be able to cut themselves free at any point.

Vertigo: Add a cost of 1% reiatsu per 2 strands connected to an opponent.

Gir - uhh! your post is gone o___o

Deleted for my new submission.

Name: Still to be decided.

Release Phrase: Ditto

Form: The katana transforms into a pair of small axes, almost like tomahawks, joined together by a steel chain. The steel chain can be extended or retracted as Diarmad wishes. Aesthetically, the transformation is not one any would call 'beautiful'. The axe heads move from dull grey to charcoal black, and the handle is a smooth mahogany.

Ability: (Name)

Diarmad's shikai has a single ability, representative of his greatest talent, the talent of survival.

Whenever Diarmad becomes injured, whether internally or externally, he immediately begins to regenerate. Flesh is brought back to life, cuts are rapidly healed, and even fractured bones can be rapidly knitted. Of course, while he can replace missing flesh to an extent, any substantial pieces and/or bones cannot be brought back. If one was rip out his heart or chop off a finger, there would be nothing this ability could do about it.

Mechanically wise, at any time Diarmad is healing it costs him 1% reiatsu a turn, with the number of turns required to fully heal an injury depending upon the severity. Minor flesh wounds would take a single turn. More serious wounds involving muscle or the like taking 2-3 turns, and finally the most serious wounds and bones requiring 4-5 turns.

Vizard Attack: (Name)

An attack that Diarmad uses rarely due to the toll it takes on his energy. He gathers energy in his swinging axe, before smashing it into the ground before him. The energy moves rapidly underneath the earth before erupting beneath the designated target.

The energy moves quickly, but with warning can be avoided. As such, the attack has an optimum range of 12-16 yards. Diarmad has, however, been known to use this attack from point-blank range, putting himself in harms way as well.

Cost: -10% rage, +5% emptiness. (This is and was giving me headaches...)

The aesthetics of this attack are still undecided as well as I need to decide which way I want to go with the whole zanpakutou spirit thing.

Fraz - make changes and resubmit (its not major but i just want to check over it again, and you have a while before shikai anyway^^):

divide the two parts of engine of destruction into seperate abilities, for clarity.

the second ability needs a cost, a range, and a scale of effectiveness when dealing with reiatsu based attacks (i.e. you aren't going to completely burn away a high level kidou or a bankai attack or something).

chris - approved with changes:

(you may want to talk to desu or someone to work on this kai a little more, since it's kinda weak)

ability - lower the cost to somewhere between 1 and 5 percent.

vizard attack: remove the rei cost and replace with 15% rage
change the usage limit to 1 use per battle per 1,000 connection ^^

Hurri - approved !!

Fraz - still needs work. A 10% hak boost is an ability by itself and you need to separate that flame stuff if you want it in there. I thought i told you this in chat already, sorry if I wasn't clear enough.

it should be like- ability 1: 10% hak boost (with rationale and visual effects if you please)

ability 2: flaming punches that cause burns and crazy flames that burn stuff.

These can't be combined in a single ability^^

Chris- approved with changes (but you might wanna resubmit the vizzle attack)

duluge - this is fine, but the cost only needs to be paid when its being used to actively bind someone. just moving the water around is free ^^

dark water - since this one isn't a vizard attack, have it cost in reiatsu instead of rage. 5%, since it's a fairly high level of ability.

vizard attack- its alright, but by the nature of a vizard attack it should be something more violent and destructive! why not have the water be super heated or something like that?

Well, since i am only about 250 away, i figured now would be a good time to go ahead and post here.

SHIKAI:

Name:
Fuyutsuki
Winter Moon

Release Phrase
Show them the gravity of their situation! Crush, Fuyutsuki!

Motion:

Ishin starts to spin the blade, and as it is rotating it starts to get longer. When it completes three circles (approxamitely 1 second), he is holding his shikai.

Form:
Fuyutsuki looks like a cross between a monk's spade and double scythe. The central staff is about 6 feet long from end to end, and about an inch thick. At one end of the pole is a small, crescent moon shaped blade. The blade is perhaps a foot long. That is where the resemblance to the spade ends, though. On the other end, There are two more Crescent moon blades, facing away from the staff. These blades, however, are about 3 feet in length each, 5 if you were to straighten them out. The weapon still only weighs about 10 pounds. (i know, this is a horrible reference, but take noittra's weapon and rotate it 90 degrees for the end with the double blades. For the record, i have been using a weapon like this since long before i saw noittra's, and i maintain that Kubo is copying my ideas for zanpakutou's!!)

Spirit Manifestation
Fuyutsuki appears to Ishin as a woman around his age. She dresses in a sultry black dress that hugs the curves of her voluptuous body. She has silver hair that shines the color of starlight.

Power:
Fuyutsuki, being the moon, controls gravity. By using his reiatsu, Ishin can control the gravity around himself, an opponent, an item, or any being in his area of influence. His area of influence is limited to the 10 feet around him in all directionswhen he first starts out. Every thousand points in connection, it goes up by 5 feet, with a maximum range of 30 feet. He can only control a small area when an opponent is concerned at first. As he trains, though, he gets more proficient at it.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Situational Gravity
This is the ability described in power. Ishin uses Fuyutsuki's natural affinities to effect the gravity of an area, item, or being. This only works if the opponent is of similar or lower reiatsu, and the effect is greatly diminished if the opponent's reiatsu is higher. For example, while the feild would effect the entire body of a weaker opponent, for an opponent that is stronger it would only effect a limb. Can be used once per every 500 points in connection, starting with 1000. ie: 1000 = 1; 1500 = 2; 2000 = 3 etc. The duration of the effect varies based directly upon the opponent. For example, against a weaker foe, the effect would for a total of 5 turns, while a stronger foe can shake off the effects in two.

Ability 2: Sister's Call
Fuyutsuki was made from the remnants of a falling star, and as such, considers all celestial beings to be her brothers and sisters. When using this ability, Ishin uses a portion of his reiatsu to call one or more of these syblings to strike an opponent. For every thousand points in reiatsu, he may call one sybling in the form of a small meteor. ie: 1000=1; 2000=2; 3000=3 etc, to a maximum of 9. Once he hits 5000 reiatsu, he has the choice of calling upon a bigger meteor rather than a smaller one. The bigger meteor can only be used once and then he can summon up to four smaller ones. The small meteors are roughly the size of a baseball in diameter, and he large meteor is about teh size of a watermelon.

Ability 3: Weight of the Heavens
This ability is always active. Since she is made of a foreign metal, Fuyutsuki has an odd weight. At anytime during a bttle, Ishin can change how much the weapon weighs. He can make her lighter, or heavier, at his will.

Shikai:

Sourei “Poltergeist”

Characterization:

“I want to tear, others to fear. I need to kill for the chill to fill my ill and empty mind. My devotion is the fight to light the flame of might inside me and my girl. I’m your nightmare, I’m your biggest scare.”

Manifestation:

Sourei is a ghost, colorless yet substantial. The fire of a fierce wrath seems to burn within his pools of truth, mirrors of the soul, dread promising eyes. His face is rough, rigid. He equals Hitome’s Shikai in size. By an unknown reason Sourei seems to have some German background, despite the Japanese name. The story is yet to be revealed. Due to this the commands are in German.

Release:

Zeige dein Gesicht, Sourei! “Show your face, Poltergeist!”

You hear a heart race audibly. You are satisfied that your sight alone has reduced your opponent to a messy heap. Just when you have convinced yourself of your rash conclusion, you realize that it is not only the child’s, but three hearts beating in absolute harmony. You wonder what this means, you wonder until you have to see. The girl’s Zanpakutou radiates dread. The obsidian of its hilt begins to surround and capture the whole Soul Slayer. Is it smoke? Is it fog? A ghostly feeling creeps into your mind as if to prepare you for the ominousness to come.

When you finally break free from your thoughts you notice that the Zanpakutou is no more. The Soul Slayer has lengthened into a thin line of two and a half meters. Its edges begin to blur, jet black drifts apart. One threat has become two and as you’re still analysing what this is supposed to mean the obsidian grows. It becomes larger than you are and for once you wonder if this child is really as much of a laugh as you had assumed. A burst of energy runs through the separated twins, the bumping of the hearts speeds up. Black seems to burst, filling your sight with emptiness. For a moment you cannot comprehend what has happened at all. You blink. You take a step backwards. Have you misjudged the girl so much? You had thought the kid’s Shikai to equal her childishness, her weakness.

What you now see takes you breath away. Two chainsaws, giant, floating in the air. One left, one right to the girl. Suddenly you are reminded of old, cheap horror movies. The kind where you laugh about the weak effects but are still scared shitless when story takes a most unexpected turn. The chainsaws do not look like mere toys. The blades rest in the handguards comfortably. And just as you convince yourself that you will still beat the child easily the blades start rotating, spinning, craving doubt into your confused and scared mind. You ask yourself... “Do I really want to fight?”

Form:

Two hovering chainsaws. The blades themselves are 2 meters long, the handguards a half.
(no, the chainsaws do not run with gas :P)

Ability 1: “Wir sind eins, Sourei!” (We are one, Sourei!)

Hitome controls the hovering chainsaws. (range: 1 meter / 1000 reiatsu)

Ability 2: Zeige keine Gnade, Sourei! (Show no mercy, Sourei!)

The chainsaws rotate. The spinning teeth create an effect equal to human made chainsaws. Thus they can cut through much more than when whey are simply whielded at the opponent. The stronger Hitome gets the more powerful opposing forces can the chainsaws cut.

Hitome – Opponent
2:1 The chainsaws cut through whatever they are aimed at – be it barrier, shikai or whatever.
1:1 The chainsaws have a 50% chance to cut through the opposing force.
1:2 The chainsaws can not cut the opposing force
(ratios in between create an effect ranging between the stated)

Ability 3: HÁ¶rst du den Klang der Verdammnis, Sourei? (Do you hear the sound of doom, Sourei?)

The rotating blades cause reverberations. Thus the evolving soundwaves let Hitome sense out her surroundings better and disorient the ears of an opponent. Due to this the enemy’s sense of balance is disturbed. The power difference between Hitome and her opponent defines the extent of the effect.

Hitome – Opponent
2:1 : Opponent falls
1:1: Opponent careens
1:2: No effect
(ratios in between create an effect ranging between the stated)

Vizard Attack: AmÁ¼siere dich, Sourei! (Enjoy yourself, Sourei!)

Due to the fact that Hitome knows only either fighting on her own, or letting her inner hollow fight on its own, she can not wear the mask and be in control. Thus this attack can only be used by her inner hollow. Tali launches the teeth of the saws to throw them at her opponent.

The teeth bore into the enemy’s flesh. Upon nullification of their speed they disperse, causing further light inner wounds. The pieces stay where they are and Tali has to recreate new ones.
The hollow uses the attack expending 6% rage and generating 3% emptiness.
